>>11215323faggot
>>11215311Wow, Ahriman really is enormous. I have him next to some Grey Knight terminators and wondered if he'd scale better with the other Thousand Sons, but apparently not!
Rate my jumbo mini.
>>11215512Terrible.The mag is missing, the power fist fingers look ugly, the helmet is too big and protrudes out too much, the pauldrons are too small and don't go up high enough, the overall proportions look funky (funkoer than normal, and definitely not in line with the 10th edition proportions), and the skirt plates are in a fixed extension peg??>TQYes, and they think (as usual) that my money is better spent elsewhere.
>>11215512>scale creep amirite
>>11215512>that tiny power fist>that little right hand barely clasping the bolterIt seems you are compensating for something.>TQYes. I don't know, I don't care for the opinions of peasants.
>TQThey're on display, but no-one has really commented on it beyond:My dad who thinks the little space guys look coolMy cleaner who saw them and told me she painted the leviathan box with her husband and wanted to know where I got them from, they bought some nids subsequently.
>>11216388>My cleaner who saw them and told me she painted the leviathan box with her husband and wanted to know where I got them from, they bought some nids subsequently. That's pretty based.Side note, how are the Orks? I know they didn't do too hot, but they look pretty cool and I really like Kommandos (actually got some of the old metals in the post today).
For how much longer do we have to suffer from the shortage of firstborn techmarines and apothecaries? The only techs we got so far are primaris, same goes for the recently released single apothecary.
>>11216521We don't even have standard Firstborn Tactical or Devastator marines so probably forever.
>>11216522Doesn't mark III fit all of them?
>>11216523I figured you were talking about 40k, for 30k I bet we get techmarines and apothecaries for the most popular legions after they have finished the base line stuff for all of them.
magnus headed to me
>>11216908Hope your not trying to build a secret psychic project or anything.
>>11215311The mismatch between the red on the pauldrons and the rest of the body triggers my autism every time I look at him, and it seems they've done the same with Amon and Librarian Consul. If these chinks didn't skimp and used the same deep ruby red on the entire sculpt I'd actually buy the tactical squad. Overall this is the most low effort JT release so far which is a shame because TSons are my favourite HH legion. At least Magnus and the Contemptor are alright.
the mismatched reds are to prevent paint chipping on jointed areas. candy coats do not hold up well to this kind of thing, and add a lot of thickness that will fuck with joint tolerances. the shoulder pauldrons are mostly out of the way of other pieces and don't interact with anything jointwise, i suspect that is why they got the candy paint. i would rather have the glittery red that i can handle vs. a toy that will flake if i bend the knee
I think it would be nice for JT to do a refresh on Imperial Fists and Sons of Horus since it's been a while since we have seen any with all the new HH stuff being announced. I'd like some MkIII SoH tactical marines along with Horus Aximand, and some MkVI IF tactical marines with Evander Garrius.
Anyone going to get one of cool toys club's weird looking cherubs?
>>11217208After browsing the GW website for inspiration I think that this would also be the perfect opportunity to get some more heavy weapons into the line. The IF MkVI marine could be based off of this guy with the heavy bolter or missile launcher, and the MkIII SoH marines could introduce infantry sized plasmaguns, meltaguns, and/or volkite weapons.
>>11217037What? Joints aren't even painted, they're just plastic black.
>>11217365sorry, I wasn't quite clear there. i'm not really talking about the black joint parts themselves, but rather places where the sculpt rubs against each other DUE to having movable joints. This applies to anywhere where the plastic regularly touches, like under the ab crunch, the belt to waist, crotch to thighs, ankle guards to feet, feet to toes, etc. all of these are points where repeated friction will cause the paint to start flaking or cracking.
I hate Varagyr. I hate that I want to love them, but I can't bring myself to. I hate their dumb little heads, I hate their dumb squiggly beards, because they apparently warrant the removal of half of fucking torso armour.Even helmets wouldn't save these dumbfucks. Not like these dogs of Russ would benefit from head protection anyway. And they are all carbon copies of each other. There is basically zero armour/decoration variation between them, save for some little craft&arts groin trinkets. Nobody even wants them, they are the cheapest termies by far in places I shop.Worst elite FW terminators by a country mile, still remain as worst even in a different medium. DIPSHITS.
>>11217500That's GW designs for you lol
>>11217256sorry m8, in this household? We only make endless Ultramarine releases, now with piss coloured gold accents*
>>11217500I like them and I also don't know why everyone in this general is suddenly complaining about HH terminator heads being too small when they aren't
>>11217213No, they look like anime figures and not grimdark at allThe Sanguinius helmet(s) however, pretty nice. Think i'm going to go for the ethereal looking one; le angery face looks kinda excessive
>>11217542>HH terminator heads being too smallSekhmet heads are definitely too small.
>>11217637They're not though and your retarded photoshop made them look significantly worse. Their helmets are just less bulky than others.
>>11217542>I also don't know why everyone in this general is suddenly complainingBecause the heads are too small. That's why people are complaining. You saying "they aren't" doesn't make it true, it just means you're trying to enforce your POV and hope nobody questions it.
>>11217647Yes they are. I actually own them unlike you so I can compare them size by side with other terminators.>photoshopYeah kys coping autist.
>>11217650They aren't though>>11217657I'm talking about the photoshopped "fixed" picture that you made in the last thread where you gave him a fucking bobblehead, retard
just stop talking to him, he's a contrarian who craves attention
Even the minis that Sekhmet figures are based on have bigger heads, I'm not sure why is this autist dying on that hill
So have there been any rumours or announcements about which legions are coming next for the heresy line?
>>11217516his gun looks so fucking stupid

>>11217723so far it seems to be in a loyalist vs traitor style>Fists vs SoH>Space Wolves vs Thousand Sons>Blood Angels vs ?Not sure who'd against the BAs, in the books they mainly fought demons but the Angron vs Sanguinius fight on Terra would both fit the space marine vs space marine theme of the line better, and imply World Eaters nextWe did get some 30k Ultramarines a few weeks ago, and they fought the Word Bearers, so who knows
>>11217658It wasn't him, it was me, and I never posted all three heads lined up.

>>11217551Oh thats amazing. Never thought it would be possible to get a figure that looks like picrel in my lifetime.
>>11218035what is the purpose of the mecha-cherubs
>>11218143message carrying, having shields or weapons mounted to them, battlefield rearmament, and general "go do that thing" type ordersyou know, like tau drones or servoskulls
>>11218143The Dark Angels equivalent
>>11218209Man the old Azrael sculpt is so good. The new one just doesn't hit the same. His combi plasma-bolter is way cooler looking too.
>>11218228Primarisation rips out soul out of everything.
>>11218323It's less Primaris' fault than it is the move to truescale and digital sculpting. Whoever is sculpting now, they just can't match the primordial energy of a chunky Jes Goodwin physical sculpt. Everything is too clean now and has no style.
>>11217551what's up with the female mask?
>>11218352it's not female, Sangy is just pretty like that
>>11218143Basically drones but also the drip, bitches love cherubs.
>>11218333Not only too clean but also monopose. I hate how every mini is doing the same pose now and nobody is ever angry or doing some kind of expression apart from "I'm shat in my armor".
>>11217213>>11217551These are neat and are properly gold looking. Also, does that mean they WON'T match the Joytoy figure? OR will the final product end up looking like shit just to fit in?Is using proper gold paints really difficult to do or jsut too expensive for $150 figures?
>>11218413They can't even afford to make the heads the right size so obviously they can't afford decent paint kek
>>11218411Yeah, minis used to have very different poses. And so much variation aesthetically too! 40K used to feel so punk rock and freewheeling, like there were no limits to what you might find. The franchise also had a ton of goofy tongue-in-cheek humor at this time, poking fun at itself or general sci-fi tropes. Now everything is so nailed-down and established, and you have nerds who will argue about the accuracy of rivets on the near-identical looking minis. It's become so boring to me. I still buy the figures because they aesthetically remind me of the franchise I loved, but it's not the same anymore. It's gone from feeling like an infinite sandbox, to a small room with a cup of sand in the corner. I guess that's what happens when you get big and make a ton of money.
>>11216908same, guess he was doing wizard shit for all of october
>>11217710I don't have a horse in this race, but if you look at the image you posted, those heads don't nearly have enough clearance to actually rotate at all. They're colliding with the frame around them and are connected directly to it in many places. I don't think you could have them this size on an action figure, they'd be completely immobile.
>>11218645The problem with your logic is that you believe that no other part can be changed/fixed, only the heads. The GW ones are like that because they never had to consider range of motion, they're static. This means JoyToy should have accordingly made the head cavity bigger to compensate. It's not like the figures are proportionally accurate as-is, so why not just have them be inaccurate in a different (but better looking) way?
>>11218652>The problem with your logicI mean, I'm just looking at the photo you posted, and noting that the heads aren't designed to be fully sculpted or mobile. After looking at pictures of the joytoy sekhmets, I don't think the head stands out as too small for it to look okay. Terminator armor is big relative to the man inside it, and these helmets aren't like the massive 40k ones. Doesn't really bother me, but you're right that it's small.
>>11218672Using your pic as an example, JT has made a decently faithful reproduction without sacrificing either the scale or range of motion.
>>11218735Yeah, that's because the source material (the miniature) is actually sculpted in a way that makes sense, and isn't just done because it looks cool. Like other anon said, old sculpts weren't designed with movement in mind. 10th ed terminators may not have either, but they were designed in a way that makes more sense than their predecessors.>>11218228His retarded ass bullpup bolter that the barrel and mag don't even line up with each other? Yeah SO cool! Fucking GW, just refuses to understand how guns work! Combi weapons should stick to two guns taped together, rather than stacked.
>>11218794See >>11218484, which I also wrote. I really don't care if the weapons make sense. I never even looked at that shit. You are exactly one of those "rivet complaining" people I cited, I yearn for the days where nothing had to make sense and silly shit was poppin off all the time. It was loose, free-form sci-fi governed entirely by rule of cool, and 40K is anything but that nowadays.tl;dr: it's stodgy people like you that made 40K boring. You had to have a logical explanation for everything and try to drag 40K into the dull-ass real world.
>>11218484>>11219044That looks like shit
>>11219375I'm not trying to post something pretty for you to nut over, I'm trying to demonstrate the difference in how models were made back then to now. There is a lot more personality and nuanced posing and unorthodox shit that the sculptor just made up with no approval. And while I grant these are not going to be everyone's cup of tea, they will always be more interesting to me than anything that came afterwards. Have your bland modern 40k shit, I'm not stopping you.
>>11219420>quirky reddit cringe>more interestingMarvelslop might be more your speed.
>>11219044Each to their own, I personally feel that early Rogue Trader era Warhammer is too silly and haphazard, as authors were just randomly shooting breeze and shit. Starting with 3rd edition 1998-2014s era 40k was peak for me, just a right blend of serious and fun. I think it's the period where the setting actually forged an identity for itself. But it eventually fell for the blandification of a corporate era.I also disagree with you blaming the little guy. It just never sits right with me. We are just a grey mass of nobodies, we are nothing. We do not hold responsibility for the decisions of authors or companies.
>>11219466I like the Rogue Trader era because it felt more open, more like other pen and paper RPGs that were popular at the time (like RIFTS). Modern 40K has the same problem modern Star Wars has--in the original movies, Lucas was just pulling shit out of his ass that seemed cool to him, so he could offhandedly mention some shit like "the kessel run" and not explain anything more about it. It was just a random worldbuilding odd and end. But now we have an entire fucking movie about it, and people obsessing over every tiny detail and inconsistency. That kind of thing bores the shit out of me. And I'm not trying to blame the fans really, if anything I'm more just frustrated that so many of them fall for it. I know it's GW's fault in the end.But I do agree with you too, 3rd Edition was still pretty nice. I have good memories of that stuff.
>>11219469I like when people post toys in the toy threads instead of arguing over pointless irrelevant shit

>>11219571I love this little nigga like you wouldn't believe
>>11219573He's cute as fuck, but I'm worried, on joytoy.com it says $18.40 for one or $54 for 3. You can get both the termagants for that, ridiculous pricing.
>>11219575I was just wondering how they were even planning on selling him since he's basically the size of an accessory. It would have made more sense to sell it as a 3 pack for like $20 or just include one along with each termagant. Nearly $20 each makes no sense.
It also looks like they are doing a reissue of the Blood Angels Furioso dreadnought to be coming out in January. Also some of the Salamanders in gravis armor are getting reissued at the same time? Seems like a weird choice. I wonder if anything else noteworthy is getting reissued.
>>11219571>it's THE LeewitCute little fella
Surprised no one's talking about the ali sale, I got sanguiboy for 106 all together but I'll try to keep an eye out for a better price. Tempted to get a contemptor dread as well since I'm more or less limiting myself to the primarchs and some dreads but I'd rather get a rylanor or custode contemptor.
>>11219608There isn't really much that I want to get right now. I might get Remus and another ultrasneed tactical but that's all I'm really interested in right now. I guess I could go ahead and order some 30k Blood Angels since I know that I at least want the terminators but they're a ways off from shipping anyways.
>>11219608Nobody is talking about it because the choice day sale happens literally every month. Smart shoppers are waiting for 11/11.
Should I get Magnus for 77 bucks now or wait for 11.11?
>>11219567Damn, I'm excited! Those ripper prices though! At first I sort of did want a spike rifle, but having time to play with my termagant, I was right in my fear that the rifle weapons wouldn't translate the best as figures. Fortunately, the two better options (spine fists and horemagants) are also available! Horse-cock gun would've been hilarious, though.>>11219420>This is just my subjective opinion!>It just happens to be far superior to your inferior "sovless" garbage! No wonder you like guns that don't make sense, because your actually retarded and thinking is too much for you. I'd explain "suspension of disbelief", but that's too complex of an idea for you to grasp.>>11219823I passed up on getting guilliman for less than $100 once, and I've regretted it since, so I say, don't make the same mistake and jump on that great deal!
>>11219823what shop?
>>11218376the middle mask is clearly a female face.
I almost ALMOST bought some Joytoy 30k Imperial Fists while I was drunk last week but something stopped me.Fuckers look the part from the old art and I was almost seduced.
>>11220375I used to think that Imperial Fists were all just ugly but then seeing them in 30k has made me realize that they just didn't make the transition to Primaris well at all. For whatever reason the yellow just looks like dogshit on Primaris armor along with the weird pinkish metal accents. Firstborn and 30k Fists actually look really cool and I regret hating them so much for so long.
>>11219913
ozon.ru
>>11220378I think they still look great as Primaris but you gotta accept the classic styling of bright colors.Regal yellow in the new age of goofball marines stands out but in a good way.I would grab the 30k Fists but I have no other Joytoy marines and I'm not really interested in making a group of them.
>>11218652> The problem with your logic is that you believe that no other part can be changed/fixed, only the heads. The GW ones are like that because they never had to consider range of motion, they're static. This means JoyToy should have accordingly made the head cavity bigger to compensate.YEah, it's a load of horseshit.Joytoy has already changed the proportions of the figures from the HW models, and they've even changed the proportions of their own figures from one year to the next, so sometimes they don't even look like they're from the same line. Nevermind the scale has changed too. There's no excuse why they couldn't have made better sculpts to fit the engineering.
How hard would it be to repaint TS tactical squad? I really like their design but the paint job suck balls.
>>11220404>The sculpts are bad because... because they just are okay????>They should have simply made better sculpts like what I would have doneHow much of a retarded child do you have to be to not only think something like this but to put it out on the internet for everyone to see
>>11220375I have 6 IF figures including Sigismund and I don't even like them that much lol, the asethetic is just S tier.
>>11218645Tried to up the scale a little and there's still plenty of space for moving around. Really shows how pinheaded the originals are.

I think the newer primarchs are slightly better quality than the ones they originally released. I think Angron is gonna be the next reveal. Crazy how I'm gonna have the whole line up in two years time.I've been just trying to do exclusively Primarchs only but it's gonna be really hard to resist buying characters like Lucius or Kharn when they inevitably release them.
>>11221166Feels like Joytoy makes a new box shape for each release.
Looked at some pictures of the new Sanguinius figure and damn his hair reminds me of those british wigs
>>11220566???I didn't imply anything of the sort you're green texting.I'm saying that Joytoy has complete control over givnig their figures better mobility. People blaming Games Workshop are retarded, because Joytoy has shown they're not following their models at all. They've elongated the proportions since their very first space marine. Their arms and legs are clearly longer than any models, which improves their poseability and ability to hold items. Their torsos are also longer. Nevermind the later figures changed the porportions even more to increase range of motion, so they obviously don't care about keeping things in scale nor even in the same style, since they started making the normal humans fatter. So why not give them a milimeter or two of space/length/girth more to give them more head space?
>Joytoy has shown they're not following their models at allKek what a fucking retard
>>11221166Honestly for me it's mostly the accessory count, like yes girlyman does feel like an obvious 1.0 compared to every other primarch but his lack of accessories is what really gets to me when comparing him although I'm not really sure what else they could have given him. I do wonder if they'll eventually make a heresy girlyman and lion though as a way to improve him and make him more in line with the rest of the primarchs.
>>11221896Horus barely has any accessories too
>>11221964The claw being articulated kinda makes up for it, between that the hammer and the knife he's got a good bit more than girlyman in terms of ways to display him.
Thinking of pulling the trigger on Horus for about $156(cad). Anything I should be aware of? He's a good figure right? Can the head turn at all or no?
>>11222069beware of broken/bent antennas, but there's nothing you can do about that since they'll come borked in the box.
>>1122189630k guilliman would get a cape and scabbard more, but lose the mounted bolter, downgrade his sword, and not have an included/official helmeted head. Power fist could be articulated, or it could swap between open and closed like the 40k version. He also has a holtered pistol on his back waist, and considering they've given every primarch every weapon depicted on them, then he'd have a pistol over his 40k version. Seems kinda similar, all things considered (downgrades sword, loses helmet, gains cape, swaps mounted gun for holstered pistol), he'd have to have articulated fingers in the power fist in order to put him on the radar, in my opinion (but to be fair, I like his 40k look much more than his 30k).30k lion gets an extra dagger, and his pistol would now be functional, AND has an official helmet, so he wouldn't be lacking there! Though, compared to his 40k counterpart, he'll come out lacking (loses 2 alt heads [hooded helm and hooded unhelmed], swaps mace [carried by little guy] for knife, loses shield, scabbard, and two little guys, gains pistol). Presumably.Again, though, I find his 40k appearance superior, as it is much more distinct, rather than 'slightly more ornamental power armor, with robes'.My guess is that they'll do them two last, to give them appropriate space between their 40k versions (I don't think daemon/40k versions of primarchs would need this much space, as they are a lot more distinct than a change of armor).
So if Thousand Sons got their glossy red, what are the odds that Death Guard get properly grimy armour?
>>11222380Nah I reckon Guilliman's 30k appearance is way cooler and more in character. The more Roman style armour would match guys like Ventanus, rather than leave him looking like a rubric marine.
>>11222520I doubt they'll get much more than a wash. They generally follow GW's official paint schemes, and the GW fellas here are very minimally weathered.>>11222528Yeah, rubrics are cool but I don't like it on Gilly. There's too much of it and it's very visually busy.
Why did GW make the nu-MkIII helmets look so similar to the Death Guard specific MkVI helmets? Are they stupid? I'm glad that the Joytoy releases so far have used the classic MkIII look at least
>>11222562>Are they stupid?Yeah
>>11222552Yeah that's the most likely way they'd do it. As for following official models, >>11222520 are official too and with MkIII we've seen Joytoy will do older styles. >>11222562The spike on the helm has been a part of older marks on and off for almost as long as we've had them. There's a bunch of art with the helmet spike in it. The dead guard signature is more the pipes and the grille extended to look like a skull
>>11217551Since everything about the helmet is the same except for the face, they should have just made the "faces" swappable plates. Up the price abit, but don't make people pay multiple times for something that is 80% the same. As it is, not sure which one I'd go with. Probably middle.
>>11220304No. It's clearly based on this art >>11218035
I hope that the Blood Angels tactical squad come with some of their unique upgrade sprue weapons. I was kind of disappointed that the Angel's Tears didn't include an assault cannon.
>>11223624>Blood Angels tactical squadIs that something we're confirmed to be getting? And which set exactly is this based off? I keep getting results on Google for the older looking sets, and those look like Truescale Primaris arms to me.
How is Leeman Russ? I wasn't going to get him, but now I'm second guessing. He comes with alot of stuff and looks nice. Can get him for about $130 cad on Aliex now, but wouldn't be opposed to waiting for a better sale/coupon event.
>>11223624Joytoy Ultramarine tactical MkVI set gives me some slight hope. They have heads from MkVI upgrade sprue. Though, they opted to ignore unique shoulder pads.Your pic looks like mix of nuMkIII and nuMkVI stuff. So if they ever do MkVI Blood Angels set, there is a chance, but no hope for MkIIIs, unless they relaunch this line-up with updated GW minis. They (JT) are weirdly anal about following official GW material down to a T.
>>11223775>And which set exactly is this based off?https://www.warhammer-community.com/en-gb/articles/44wMszAa/heresy-thursday-look-beautiful-on-the-battlefield-with-blood-angels-upgrades/One of the recent-ish releases for Heresy marines.
>>11223929>>11223624JoyToy could make a good buck with upgrade kits, not only weapons but things like Forgeworld helmets, although this is problably another license and will not happen, but you get the gist.
>>11223929>looks like mix of nuMkIII and nuMkVI stuffGW makes all the arms in their upgrade sprues look like that these days. They're meant to fit any mark of armour
>>11223775We've gotten tactical squads from every other legion revealed so far and Blood Angels have been following the exact same pattern as the rest so I see no reason why they would just not make tactical marines for them too
>>11223929They put running mascara on the mk6 helmets and I hate it
>>11224613The Smurfchuds' mascara is running because they got throatfucked by Chad Bearers
>>11224016I'd imagine it wouldn't be too hard for them, considering that they already produce figurines based on Forgeworld models. Logistics probably just don't make sense for Joy.I'll definitely nab a few of them and put them on some bald evil dudes. Not really interested in getting donor models or hunting parts in ebay.Although, I do have a friend with SLA printers...
Angry boys
>>11224920That's a fuckload of angry lads. Sadly, I think it'll just be the lord invocatus for me.
>>11224920Shit
>>11224920Does that mean Angron is going to be next?
>>11224946It seems like it. But my question is, Primarch or Daemon Prince? My guess is Primarch since Magnus went this route too. I think they will do Daemon Prince Magnus, Mortarion and Angron only after finishing all regular Primarchs
>>11224948I'd surprised if it was daemon prince angron, he's almost the size of a knight isn't he, and they've been having serious problems getting those to market. Probably just 30k version.
>>11224948>>11224946technically this is 40k world eaters, so if he's based on this line specifically I'd say daemonthey could double dip and give us 30k WE and primarch Angron as well, but we haven't seen any evidence for that since all of the primarchs we have that are alive in both eras are only based on one, with 30k Magnus and 40k Robute and Lion
>>11224959these could also be intended as "generic" Khornite marines, rather than the start of a whole 40k WE linejust have to wait and see, I guess
>>11224920Kharn?
>>11224991no, just generic berserkers, only one with a name is the guy on the demon dog
>>11224959>technically this is 40k world eaters, so if he's based on this line specifically I'd say daemonYeah but you got remember Angron turned in Daemon Prince mid-Horus Heresy so even those wasn't 40k WE there is still reasons to make his daemon form. But like >>11224949 size is a problem, I can't see them doing such a massive Primarch right now
>>11224920This is getting ridiculous, releasing loads of almost identical marines. Five was a bit much for the Space Wolves, ten is ludicrous.
Shit, the releases are piling up for the 11/11 sale - all the new Blood Angels, the new Tyranids, the gladiators and now this immense horde of berzerkers. Something's got to give.
>>11225149To be fair, they did start the line with two 4 packs of nearly identical Phobos Marines (heads, guns, backpack ornament, side pouches/knives, and pauldrons print were the only differences, with comms guy getting his wrist computer extra, and one incursor getting a mine). Doing multiple figures that are very similar is pretty routine for joytoy. That being said, yeah, the whole 10 squad is pretty weird.
>>11225149I actually feel like these guys are actually very nicely varies in head/helmet sculpt, accessories, chest and armour details. I'm not too into khorne-dogs, but I'd be very pleased if e.g. death guard got this sort of treatment.
>>11225149I'm happy to get loads of different helmets, however i am an army builder autist soI can see how it might not appeal to everybody
>>11224920Am I the only that finds these leg proportions to the rest of the body a bit ridiculous looking? They feel like Titus scale.
>>11225264>They feel like Titus scale.wasn't he supposed to be the new standard going forward?
>>11224920>That juggernautOne step closer to Joytoy doing fantasy figures
>>11224920THOUSAND SONS SOON BROTHERS
>>11225346They should be doing them soon, since they appeared in the game.>>11225264They are longer looking, but not quite Titus, in my opinion. They don't look bad, either.
Slow the fuck down, I don't have money for all that shit.
>>11225264>Am I the only that finds these leg proportions to the rest of the body a bit ridiculous looking?Yes.
>>11224920Here's hoping we actually get 40k death guard, although they might be tough with all the tentacles
>>11224920FINALLY some more enemies for the billion muhreens to fight. Definitely getting the lord, eviscerator chainaxe, and berzerker #4
>>11225458Would you want/be ok with the tentacles and loose flesh bits being made of rubber? Like, those stretchy hands, even? Something better, but still highly malleable?
>>11224949Pretty much everything joytoy does is based on GW miniatures, right? So why would it matter that in the books he's bigger? And based on those miniatures it looks like he's about twice as big as bob; so honestly no biggie. They've released stuff that size before. And if that's slightly too big they could just slightly cheat by making him marginally smaller. Especially since these dudes apparently be as big as they 'want to'.Also the timing of releasing world eaters right after Sanguinius just screams eternity gate fight to me
>>11225458I mean 30k death guard would just be lame considering how cool 40k DG are.Let's just hope boring magnus underperformed and they'll switch to deamon primarchs now
>>11225346>>11225381crack brain.they literally just did thousand sons
>>11225860I'm not talking about the books, I'm talking about the minis. Going off https://d1w82usnq70pt2.cloudfront.net/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Size_Comp_angron-scaled-e1675466820781.jpg and https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2Fn1q8djmmtzw11.jpg Angron in volume terms is not far off the Imperial Knight, which as I say seems to be posing them engineering problems, so I don't think it will be "no biggie", but I wouldn't mind being wrong.
>>11225864Are you retarded?
>>11225884gonna be no biggiemark my words famalam
>>11225887no, are you?they literally JUST got done releasing a bunch of 30K Thousand sons, and as soon as the another legion gets released which happens to be 40k you're going AWW YEAH NOW ITS THOUSAND SONS TIMEliterally dope fiend tier thinkin
Wizard shit over, Magni-magic is in the houseAnd God DAMN the magic is finicky, a lot softer than any other accessory Joytoy has put out in this lineHonestly feels more like flesh, so >>11225762 might be happy if they do reuse it for the soft parts of any future death guardSpeaking of skin, this is the most skin we've gotten on a primarch so far
>>11225385
I hope when JT does Death Guard, they do the Plague Champion and it comes with a fully articulated Sassy Nurgling>>11225900Checked also how's the head articulation?
>>11225954not great, his hair is really big and comes down around the collar of his armor, so he can only turn a bit side to sidewonder what helmet CTC will make for him
>>11225264does he come with a helmet?
>>11225884I'm down for an Angron, don't care about the pricejust 1.5 years ago nobody thought they would make the primarchs and we fucking are
>>11225900My Magnus has been stuck in transit in China for a few days now. It should have gotten here by now based on when it shipped and the dreadnought is almost here even though it shipped after him.
>>11224920Wow the whole squad? Makes me seethe a bit considering we only got 5 different black legionnaires with only one having a boltgun you can use easily.
>>11225553Woof
>>11225966Seems like not.
>>11226127Jeez talk about clown shoes, those feet seem xbox huge
>>11219571he cute
>>11225900award winning posing right there
Shame about the Khorn berzerkers. Non of them is perfect and they are too expensive.
Blood Ravens believe in a different Space Book; The Rules Of Acquisition.
>>11226560Rule 1: Protect ya neck
>>11226560JT needs to make these guys already
Really wish we'd get skitarii vanguard. Seems like a super obvious followup, the existing sculpts are clearly tailored to make it easy to do. All they'd need is a new gun, head, and shoulder armor. The hormagaunts gave me renewed hope but nids are more popular I think. My dream is a serberys rider, but I don't see that happening any time soon.
>>11224920James Workshop has gone too farcrop top space marine armor?
>>11226950Ooh, Khornedaddy.
Are there any Aliexpress shops with the McFarlane 40k figures?
>>11227354Probably. Maybe go type "McFarlane Warhammer 40K" on Aliepress and find out.
>>11227354Are you only looking because you're shitposting in that other thread?
>>11226950I wish they would sell him like this
>>11227541same. cant justify the 200$+ cuz of his mount which looks lame to poseprobably get this guy instead
(This is what Ollanius Pius fans actually believe)
>>11227721
>>11227721Fake, everybody knows Ollanius balls were too big at that point for him to stand like that
I need 30k White Scars
>>11227984Have potential to be one of the coolest MKVI releases, considering how flashy their default GW-issued paintjob and heads looks.
>>11227984could be both a vehicle for Deathguard and, well, vehicles
Anyone else having trouble with WEWI HLTH toy store on Ali? I bought all the Thousand Sons from them but they're not sending them, despite all the figures being released, some of them weeks ago.
>>11224991I would cum piss shit and vomit for kharn
little niggas
big niggas
Damn Remus already shipped. Cant wait for the man in blue
>>11229057haha shit dorn looks lamebut cool collection anon. Planning on getting them CTC helmets for the unhelmeted ones? Also who's your favorite and why?
11.11 sale on now at Aliex. That's supposed to be the biggest one all-year right?Anyone here get any good deals?
>>11229443New gaunts for like $16, but only on a single purchase.
>>11229443I can get Sanguinius for 110$ CAD
This 11/11/ sale fucking blows. Hardly any difference to normal pricing as far as I can see.
>>11229531Seller? Lowest I can find for him is like 127cad.>>11229562Yeah it's not as impressive as the last one. I feel like part of that is the line becoming much more expensive in general. Old-termies cost half of what the new ones do.
>>11229562Yea I expected to find sangui-boy for a good price but I was able to find him for 106 on choice day and the lowest I've been able to find him now is 103 which doesn't even seem worth the effort of canceling the other order.
>>11229760Well I was able to get sangui for 96 which isn't insane savings off the 106 I had him for before but we take those. Also got that new Tyranid warrior for 34 bucks.
>>11229443The newer Ultramarines terminators are around 35 bucks, I dont freqent Aliexpress that much but they cost higher in other shops so I picked up two.
>>11229757Here ya go.I am thinking of getting a IH terminator and SW 30k praetor for 80$ instead
I'm thinking of finally getting a primarch, can anybody post a link for guilliman or lion at less than $100 if you can find it? I've gotten close, but I'm hoping to get a little better deal.Ty in advance.
>>11229757>the line becoming much more expensive in general.It...hasn't though? It's still virtually the same, $50-60 for new molds or complex ones with a lot of detail paint, $30-40 for reused molds or waves where they can instantly reuse the mold 5-6 times. This has been fairly consistent since the line started.>Old-termies cost half of what the new ones do.This is also not true. The old Termie mold was I believe introduced with the BA Assault Termies, which launched around $60 apiece. Subsequent waves got cheaper, just like the Leviathan Termie mold did. Now you can get both old and new Termies for around $40-ish during sales (and in fact, at the moment the new Terminators are actually a bit cheaper than the old ones).
>>11225961>wonder what helmet CTC will make for himturns out the answer is this funky looking thing>https://www.cooltoysclub.com/COOL-TOYS-CLUB-CTC-430-Helmet-for-JOYTOY-JT6175-Magnus-p27468574.htmlunironically looks like a freezeframe of him getting shot in the face and his giant nerd skull exploding
>>11229443I don't understand what to do about these "security check failed." messages when I attempt to collect coupons. I was able to get about a dozen at first, but after that, I can't seem to collect any more.
>>11230377This is usually related to unusual network activity, like having multiple accounts, using a VPN, etc. Or sometimes just people misunderstanding the system and trying to do more than it allows. Like, a dozen coupons and you're trying to get more? Why? You can't even stack that many on a single purchase typically, the bigger ones tend to cancel each other out.
>>11230332looks fucking weird on the body, it's just like a mess of nonsense. not really diggin it.
>>11230482Ugh, yeah, that looks gross! He just needs like a little mask to cover his face, not a whole orgy of face huggers lmaoHell, the concept of an enclosed helmet on this dude is completely thwarted by his gigantic mane of hair, and exposed arms lol
>>11230482>>11230502>>11230332I don't understand why they invented whatever the fuck that is when there's his 40k model's face variants to draw inspiration from. Give him some spin on the masked faceplate used here, dipshits
Why is this CTC slop being shilled so hard? Buy a fucking ad
>>11230482>>11230332
Angron and Kharn tomorrow?
>>11230332Yea, that thing is stupid. Looks like they tried to base the style off of Ahriman's 40k helmet or something. But this is supposed to be a pre-Heresy helmet so why does it have tzeentch symbols all over it? Unless those are supposed to be generic flames? No idea. But yea, even if I did collect these helmets, that one would be a hard pass.
Osirion-pattern Contemptor has arrived
>>11231405Nice! I really like the unique blade attachment, I'd consider getting this dreadnaught, though, like always, I'm not a fan of that ornate head candelabra shit (though on a mech, it makes more sense to put some random shit on, than a dude). Now that the big ali sale passed, what's everybody get from it? Only new thing I picked up was a hormagant, other two pick ups were a hellblaster and an incursor. Total was like $57?
I havent bought any joytoy figures yet. But the sisters of battle line really is tempting me. Celetine looks amazing. If they drop a 30k guilliman it may send me over the edge.
>>11231704If you like the sisters, why is 30k guilliman the deciding factor? Wouldn't 40k girlyman go best with Celestine?Regardless, the sisters are great! I got only one (on a very limited budget, gotta be super selective with what little toys I can get), and I'm very tempted to get more (even though more would basically amount to a repaint + single new accessory).
>>11231704>If they drop a 30k guillimanhahhaha autism >there are still tons of primarchs that don't even have a figure yet>joytoy hasn't ever done two different versions of the same character in the history of their linedon't hold your breath
>>11231526Got Solar Watch Custode with shield and sword, MKVI Ultramarine Sergeant and Sons of Horus MKIV marine with bolter. All were around 22 USD each.Really wanted to get cheap golden Custodes Vexilus Praetor, but they all giga expensive nowadays.
>>11230927nopemaster splinter and april and a roman gladiator
>>11231526I got one of each of the new tyranids all for a combined total of $74
Anyone looking for a good deal on sangui, I just got him down to 80 on Shop1102056264.
>>11231915man I wish they would make knights
These niggas have finally shipped
>>11232416red niggas
>>11232416Kinda boring looking. No chapter specific gear either, despite upgrades being available from official sources.
>>11231809>>11231949>>11231984WTF, how do y'all get such good discounts!? It won't let me stack coupons anymore, so what gives? Explain your methods like I'm retarded, because I seem to be.
>>11232716Look around their shop for a 30 dollars off 100 coupon and see if it transfers onto sangui. That combined with the 12 off 11/11 coupon brought him that low for me. Seems like I'm general shop1102 and so on and so on is offering some of the best deals right now
>>11231526I got Remus Ventanus for $32 and to my surprise he has already shipped
>>11232686Yeah I wish they were as ornate as earlier BA termies but the new ones mog them hard in design and proportions.
>>11233433Hard disagree from me, I much prefer the old genocidal zealot walking panzers.
>>11232969>>11233242Got myself a SW Praetor and Remus for around 28 each. Yeah they are my new go to for Joytoy now. They have better sales and discount coupons compared to stores. Flyima and Jtoy was really good when it came to savings but not anymore.
Mirin the size of this ladJT really nailed the lore accurate stature of Abaddon
>>11234539I especially appreciate his face that is frozen in turd moving expressionmust be some good shitIt really fits him too, always pictured him as an astartes equivalent to highschool jock bully. He really comes out as a sweaty try hard in books. So JT nailed his character here.
Magnus has arrived or whatever. I feel nothing anymore. I wish I could die but I'm too much of a coward to do it myself.
>>11234628Dying early is overrated. Do you really want to miss out on all these releases?
>>11234628I too, would feel nothing if I bought the biggest bitch of 40k.Also I hope the rumours are true and that the next loyal Primarch is Leman Russ. I want a 40k Leman with a helmet.
>>11234945Magnus did nothing wrong. Death to furry faggots.
>>11234539Are his arms removable? I remember the old Abaddon funny haha of his model's arms always falling off.
>>11235106he did everything wrong. He literally talks about why X is wrong, bad abd dangerous for hours only to do X himself and not noticing it or just be like yeah it's okay because I'm so special while being a weak bitch.
>>11234945>>11235106>>11235218Magnus did nothing wrong, in that he was supposed to do nothing and did it wrong. That being said, the Fenrisian Knotty Nellies deserve the rope.t. Salamanders fag
>>11235225Everything Magnus did he did for right and justified reasons. Russ was a retarded savage and a hypocrite who did everything wrong for the wrong reasons. Ironic how his legion went from "loyalist world eaters" to an actual good and honorable legion once Russ was gone.
damn, I was always thinking the orkz would be the size of a normal 1/18 figure but these guys are HUGE!
anyone knows if joytoyfigure page is legit?
>>11236233I always use cooltoysclub.com
>>11236408Known scam website
>>11236680How so?
>>11236780I use it and I have no idea what he's talking aboutI'm betting he's this guy >>11230788 who got pissy that CTC was being discussed since they're making/selling third party accessories for the figuresNo idea why tho
>>11236780haha he's probably mad at them over something autistic and stupidCTC is fine. cool even, for making helmets and stuff for the primarchs
speaking of CTC, did you guys see those rad Black Templar shoulders they're releasing?Honestly it's the type of this Joytoy should be doing to diversify their marines, but I'm glad someone is doing it.Magnus helmet still a shit tho.
>>11237735I wish they did custom pauldrons for the HH figures. The ones we have are pretty bland. It's been forever since they even made a BT so it's pretty out of nowhere to me.
>>11234628Don't do it anon. You're a good person and I love you
>>11232416Wasn't able to track mine so just figured it was lost during shipping
>librarian consul's head is smaller than Amon's helmetless headI see they fucked it up again. Glad I didn't preorder him.
Gonna pick up some Termies before 11.11 sale is done, quick questionThe auto-cannon this guy comes with isn't removable is it? Looks like the cable that connects it to his arm is glued in.
>>11237830She wouldn't have left me if I were a good person
>>11238278Cant be removed.
>>11238434Funny that they gave him an alternate hand for that arm then. I think I'll buy him and just pry the cable out of the socket on his arm. That way I can give him a stormbolter from my other Termy if I want.
>>11238278Though it's glued in, you should be able to pop it out, easy. If you customize shit like I do, then it will be an easy matter. Speaking of...I got my hellblaster in, and I modded both his and my IF gravis marine's backs to be able to swap the power pack thingy on the heavy plasma incinerator. I wish the hellblaster's hands weren't so hard/stuff, though...
Don't feel great about big purchases, but here's my last-second trigger pull for the Ali-sale. Now I have to buy helmets for Russ and Sangy too. There's some rumours that Russ might be returning to 40k next year as well...
>>11238424Oh nvm if it's about some cunt go ahead and kill yourself then.
>>11238424Women dont matter. Stop being a faggot
>>11238424fugggg, should have gone for pic rel Deathsworn, he looks so much better. I've got one with fur on shoulders.
>>11239051What's wrong with the one with fur on his shoulders? Either that one or the squad leader probably would have been my second choice
>>11239257It's janky looking, plus my version had them glued slightly off, so they're covering chest embellishments way too much and limit head movement. Small scraps of fur also look a bit silly on shoulder pads, especially when you have them in upward motionI feel like ropes on chest with arts&crafts look more interesting, plus they do not hide their wolf "aquila". And diaper fur covers the gap around hip joints nicely, while also retaining that unique SW look.I also prefer more matching knees, as another fucking wolf skull is way too overboard, considering helmet and powerpack. And axe with small wolf tail talisman looks more cute.Overall, it's more balanced look. I realized it too late. Call it buyer's remorse. Also, there is Blood Angel's drops for Heresy, and it's fucking amazing.
>>11239579Goddamn joytoy fucking cooked
>>11239579>dread with unique sculpt and loadout>and a fucking JETPACK>Dawnbreakers look cool, probably will get 1, considering they have minimal differences.>Raldoron.>...probably would require donor helmet from MKIV BA PraetorFuck, It feels like I'm being milked.
>>11239579Think I'd have preferred Zephon over Raldoron desu.
>>11239697Absolutely, would've been cool if raldoron came with the severed daemon arm from his display base though. I really hope if and when they do do Zephon, they don't cuck out and make his volkite pistols stuck in their holsters like they did the lion's pistol.I think I'll just get one of the dawnbreaker guys, the poles on their power spears look way too thick though.
>>11239579We are so close to Chain Glaives.
>>11239849Sevatar is on my must-buy list.
Remus arrived and he looks great. Probably the best looking ultramarine so far. His flag sucks ass. Top part snapped and the mid hole for the pole has excess plastic so you can’t even push it in.
>>11239859Just trim the excess plastic, ez.The top snapping is probably cuz it's so damn heavy, with a tiny connection point. Looks like it could still work as a banner, though?>>11239584Lol
>>11239579>black and gold trim jetpacksVERY sexual, wish we had a whole chapter with that color scheme
