Anyone planning to snag the Chogokin Gundam EX? Don't have Netflix so I haven't seen the show, but I'm not too sure what I think of the design.https://p-bandai.com/us/item/N2755132001001
Revival reissues of the DX Chogokin VF27 Lucifer and VF25F Messiah + Tornado parts announced. So fuck you if you bought Alto's Super Messiah, I guess? Not that Tornado parts are well liked with the DXCs but still kinda a dick move unless they're gonna go three for three and do an Armored Alto as well.
>>11219557VF-25 is the most popular Valk behind the VF-01 to my knowledge so Bandai’s gonna milk it as much as they can. Personally I’d like Luca’s 25 revival to complete the team but I’ll take that 27.
So why is Galbaldy over 9k yen when it comes with one of the most sparse set of accessories yet? They trying to kill off the ANIME line?
>>11220110Finally adjusting prices for the yen being in the shitter.
>>11220110>Skygrasper ver ANIMEmeh>Strike Gundam IWSPAlso meh>GabaldyWho?Looks like I'm saving money for a while.
>>11220129It's why I've passed on the GMII and Gundam Mark-II in whiteThey aren't selling out and will drop in price so I might as well save myself some money with waiting a bit.
>>11220110I get that it has no other weapons to include but they should have given it the ballute system then. I don't imagine its a popular enough design it will an option set for it either.
>>11219447I'll give it some props for being different but I still don't like the design. It's like a greatest hits amalgamation of everything wrong with western mech design - no color separation, pointless greebling, fear of flat panels, etc.I hope these guys don't get their hands om the live action Gundam remake. As for the figure, it would have to be $100 cheaper before I consider it.
>>11220274>live action Gundam remake. It's going to be even worse, it'll look even more like a Bayformer
I think these may be my favorite proportions on any Mk-II, ever
>>11220150How long until they make the ver. ANIME Freedom....
>>11220572Cant wait till they release G-Defensor for it.
okay i love this thing
>>11219439Any news on November releases?Wanna know when Walter's HAL comes out.
>>11221107I like the Titan colors but the details pop out more with the AEUG. I'm glad I have both, though.
Oh shit, I can't read for shit, muh bad. It's 30-th, damn wanted/expected to see him earlier, in like 20-s or so.
>>112205762026, still have a bunch of grunts to get to first (DINN, GooHN, ZN0, Dagger, ZOOT, M1 Astray) and the rest of the Stargazer line that they decided to start early.
>>11220705Will be a Mk-II with G-Defensor pack.
>>11221245definitely, it'll probably have an alt head with smaller eyes too in order to be more enticing
I wonder why it has the 105E model designation if it isn't the Strike E
>>11221783Just some typo, the HK and TW sites have it correct.
>>11221107>open it>v-fin is super bent on one side, first time ever happening to me with a RD>try to fix it by heating it up, other side bends insteadFUCK
>>11222038Don't they usually come with a spare?
>>11222603yeah but i would still like to fix this one in case that one breaks or somethingdoesn't seem like im going to be able to though
>>11222619Understandable. Sorry you're having troubles.
>>11220150The stupid thing about the ANIME Skygrasper is that they did not give us a central block for the three Striker Pack releases to convert into a Multiple Assault Striker. All it needs is a far-back battery and arm joint attachments with the extra battery packs, and you can set the wings and thrusters of the Aile Striker and the arm joints of the Launcher and Sword Strikers to complete the whole thing. All the extra effect parts from the ill-fated "First Death of Kira Yamato" should have merely been a bonus. On a different note, anyone own the Tamashii SPEC Gillgazamune? Care to tell me what scale that massive thing was? Because it felt 1/144 to me to be scaled with the Robot Damashii back in the day and not the other Tamashii SPEC Dragonar releases, which seem 1/100 like the Hi-METAL R.
So what is the best way to go about buying this if I missed the pre-order window? Eye Mandarake like a hawk?
>>11224023No please don't. I'm hunting one myself ;)
>>11224023You can sign up the mandarake alert list notification, their email notice is fairly quick and reliable, just remember to put every possible condition(opened vs unopened etc) into your alert list as well.
>>11224049Nta but I never could figure out the specifics on Mandarake alert watching, let alone how they organize their locations so atomically. There's probably a rationale for it that they explain on an about us page somewhere but for me I've become accustomed to just camping out on whatever search argument is the most on target for what I want, then mash f5 during Japanese business hours while sorted to new arrivals. It's worked over the last month for Macross figs I can tell you that much.
>>11221185Aside from the Dagger and M1, none of those grunts even have an HG SEED release. Hell, the ZnO doesn’t have a kit, period, and the M1 only had the shitty NG until the SEED Remaster line in 2012—9 years after its debut. What makes you think Bandai will suddenly remember these suits and give them first dibs over the Freedom cash cow?
>>11221185I don't think a large portion of those are being made. At best we'll get the Strike Daggers, M1, Guaiz, and then the rest of the Gundams.
>>11224521I’d wager the CGUE, the LaGOWE (because Waltfeld), and then they’ll shit out the rest of the Gundams before getting to the Freedom. SEED was more known for the Strike’s fights with the stolen Gundams rather than any of the grunts it encountered along the way.
>>11224521>>11224561Just make the mooks retail. Strike Dagger and M1 Astray are the only ones left. LaGOWE could very well be P-Bandai, but I can't see the aquatic shells be sold on retail either. Oh, and I really want a better figure of the GuAIZ, especially with a potential Experimental Firearms Type for possessing both the Freedom's railguns and a prototype of the Justice's flight pack.
>>11224561CGUE has already been made. It was P-Bandai.
I ordered the strike gundam ver ANIME with all its packs. What am I in for ? I think it's the first batch, not the reissue. I saw a review where the v-fin is not perfectly aligned on the head
>>11224683I didn’t see it on the US site. Did they not sell it?
I just want them to make ANIME red frame astray already. They are leaving so much money on the table by not making this mold yet-I would buy one for each color.
>>11225066Just buy the metal ones, that's where the money is for Bandai
>>11225045It was. That's how I got mine.
>>11225083Fuck, I don’t know how I missed it.
>>11221185>>11224207>>11224521>At best we'll get the Strike Daggers, M1, GuAIZ, and then the rest of the Gundams.Gut wrenching I have to believe this most likely now. Was putting so much hope into the non 105/Strike Daggers getting SOMETHING through the ANIME line, but dang...Moving onto hopefully seeing the Stargazer RD, and just maybe a DSSD Astray. Gonna have to scrounge around for the ANIME Strike Noir though, waited too long on making a pre-order.>>11224561>>11225045>>11225107Better mention the LaGOWE was released as well, also a P-Bandai release unfortunately; though the prices are not horrific. CGUE has climbed up back to 7000 yen or so, but I've seen a couple for 5-6000 yen popup recently if you can wait a bit.
>>11225067They’re ugly, expensive and fragile I just want one I can futz around with like the other ANIME figures.
>>11225253>waited too long on making a pre-order.it's up on HLJ right now
>>11225253>Stargazer RDOne of my biggest wants. Despite being the title mech it's been basically snubbed of any representation except an ancient HG.Plus the ANIME line could do wonders with those green energy ring effects.
>>11225312Its bound to happen, definitely some time 2025.We might get Verde Buster and Blu Duel first though just because they'd be easy mold reuses.
>>11220572>>11221107Love it. Only flaw is they removed the ability to mount the shield on the side of the arm that's been present in every MkII model kit ans RD to date. We really shouldn't have to put up with gorilla arm syndrome in 2024.
>>11225253Doubt we’ll see anything from Stargazer aside from the Stargazer itself and maybe the other Gundams. I could see them making the GINN Insurgent as P-Bandai, but that’s it. SEED is all about V-fins and backpacks.
>twin beam scytheThis is going to be warlock prelude isnt it?
>>11225376>60k yen for a deathscytheyeah no
>>11225376Speaking of this, where the hell is the metal robot spirits heavyarms? I think he’s the last one besides Sandrock.
>>11225376Only thing it can be. No point in making TV Hell since the recent Deathscythe has all of the gimmicks it could have plus more. Either Warlock or a recolor of the recent Deathscythe Hell which would be disappointing. That piece at the top left doesn't look like anything on the Deathscythe.
>>11225376I want itI love all things Deathscythe
>>11224029So did you get yours? Cause I got mine.
>>11225604yeah, got 4!
>>11225256>They’re ugly,That's the same for the entire Astray line
My moshow toys lancelot came with scratches and even with a large scuff on the right shoulder. Is this standard for moshow figures or did I get unlucky?
Thoughts on him?
>>11225672wtf
>>11226191Unfortunate. Mine was near perfect when I opened it
>>11226191moshow paint is definitely not flawless, I have their Asyura and had to touch up a few spots on it with a paint marker and have more or less heard the same from othersthat said you're not gonna get flawless paint out of any company making fully painted figures, even if they're pristine going into the packaging chances are something will get scuffed a little during shipping, unless its really bad better to just try to ignore it.
>>11226211I bought 2 cangdaos before and while they were the first 2 releases, they are good.I posted about them before.
>>11226803Do you perhaps have the white tiger ? If yes post pics
>>11226824Yes I do. No pics since it's buried somewhere on my phone after like 3 years.
>>11226846>he doesn't copy pictures of his toys and figures in organized folders on his pc
>>11226721Would you be able to ignore something like this though >>11226191
>>11226803Are they a child company of Moshow or something? They all use the same square magnetic base for their figures.
>>11227044i can't really even tell whats supposed to be wrong there honestly, maybe take a better picture
>>11227045No. The two I have uses a circular lightup base.
looks like shining gundam to go with god? i wish it was master instead but i guess it might come after these
>finally open new zeus>end up not liking it because of ratcheted jointsDamn it
anyone here got Calibarn? I've seen some reviews and the hip/torso joint seems loose, is it true?
>>11230650I've got one yeah. The hips are fine but the torso is a bit loose, it doesn't flop around but it will gradually sag out of any pose you put it in presumably from the weight of the gun.
>>11230650Mine is perfectly fine on the joints, the problem is that some parmet parts are loose
>>11230669Thanks, yeah that seems to be the case with the torso.>>11230681I guess thats Bandai's QC as usual.
>>11230681This, joints are find but one of the thigh permet pieces won't slot into place. Probably a bit of plastic I need to shave off though.
The face of my Dragon Scale Lancelot Albion came scratched up again. I initially ordered one from BBTS, but it had visible paint marks all over its body and face, and the leg joint was a bit loose. I requested a refund, and BBTS gave me the full amount back, including shipping, in store credit. I decided to buy another one, but this one arrived with scratches on the face.Normally, I wouldn’t stress about minor flaws on cheaper figures, but this one cost me over $400, including shipping. I was aware of Bandai's quality control issues (even Asian consumers complain about it, as seen in the comments on their recent Metal Build PV video), but I expected better QC for their higher-end products. Now, I can’t ask BBTS for another refund, and Bandai Spirits customer service only caters to Japan.I just want to replace the head. I’m willing to pay for a new one, but I’m not sure where to look. I’ve already contacted a few eBay and legit AliExpress sellers, but they couldn’t help. Are there any Japanese communities or sources where I could find replacement parts for this figure? I waited for this figure for so long only for me to get 2 bad copies. Incredibly demoralizing. Please help...
>>11227941This pic is likely the God Gundam. hope for a retail version, not tamashii web.
Did anyone here get Dragon Scale Sirbine? Is it worth it?
>>11231651Anyone?
>>11231792It’s not the god gundam, it doesn’t have the double v fin. There’s not much use teasing something they’ve already shown off either.
>>11231651>>11231811You can contact Bandai directly if you're in the US or Canada! Hoping you're in those regions, since you purchased from BBTS.https://www.bandai.com/returns-replacementsBefore Bluefin got bought out by Bandai, I had Bluefin provide a replacement part for my RD Kshatriya (which coincidentally I had also purchased from BBTS). More recently, I got a replacement head for my RD LaGOWE as one of the antenna arrived bent with stress marks. Granted, that was a direct P-Bandai purchase, but reading their info it seems like they'll provide full support if you're in the proper region and have proof of purchase. Hope they're able to help you out!
>>11231651in buyee sometimes people send parts of MB figures, but those are very rare cases
>>11232143I don't live in North America sadly. What are my options?
>>11232293>What are my options?Sit and suffer while Bandai ignore 95% of the world
>>11232293You go through whoever sold the product to you.If you used a proxy buyer well you better hope they can be a middleman for your customer service request. The worst case scenario is something like a "I bought it off Mandarake so I'm not even the original owner, fuck me" but if you're buying from Mandarake you better know what you're doing.
>>11232358>>11232435Well I guess I'm fucked. I also highly doubt that Bandai would have entertained my replacement request since it falls under "minor cosmetic paint issues. That said, I won't be buying another Metal Build again until they release an official statement committing to improving their quality control (which will never happen obviously). As seen in their recent MB promotional videos, the factory workers don't even wear gloves when doing "qc" checks. I now understand why my Metal robot lancelot albion zero came with a fingerprint mark on its chest armor.
>>11232461
>>11230650My hips have been fine but the torso can tilt a bit when holding the big ass cannon. >>11230681I haven't had this experience myself
>>11232464I want to buy the zero lancelot but i worry about the qc, specifically considering the price.
>I will GENOCIDE the els
Looks like a Chinese bootleg
Unbelievable we got this design before so many other SEED designs in MRD form
I never asked for this, no seriously I didnt and im a retard who bought x1 fc and x0 fc.
Also to noones jewish surprise
so they're finally going to release Big Zam...
Another Exia Rerelease, this one looks to be in the original markings though.
>>11232801...I've been waiting two or so fucking weeks for a reveal and it's just this? This is what they hyped up?
>>11232806>meme releasemark my words, it will be one of the best and most sought after pieces
>>11232853They showed off the Deathscythe Rousette at a previous con this isn’t really a new announcement.
Calm the FUCK down deathscythe.
>>11232878Exactly. Even with the new gimmicks it shouldn't have been a big announcement.
>>11232853I know right? Was thinking it'd be Warlock or something, it's just Rousette with new shit.
>>11232813I wish they would release just the parts and not make me buy a whole new X1 for this. I already have three Crossbones...
>$500.00Holy molyhttps://p-bandai.com/us/item/N2755190001001
>>11232825Exia again?
GODDO is one of my favorite. Now all I need from Bandai is to make an Edgy metal build of the Wing Zero TV and then I have everything I want.
>>11232902ooooo GU WZ and Epyon? very cool
>>11232806God that backpack whatever thing looks so retarded.>>11232813I don't recall this in the manga at all. What franken abomination is this?>>11232824>>11233233Now do the Apsaras II. I would kill for an Apsaras II...
>>11233298>I don't recall this in the manga at all. What franken abomination is this?in fact I don't think it even exists in the manga, it's something created only for the metal build by recycling parts
>>11233298They should do a Neue Ziel while they're at it!
>>11233233No, fuck you. Completely outrageous. 300 would have been more than enough.
>>11233233I want it but man… why do they put up Pre-Orders for such expensive shit with 0 warning? I fucking hate Bandai, they’ve teased this thing for years and told us it will never happen now suddenly they go oh yeah here it is Pre-Orders open tomorrow and we need the money now.
>>11233233Does it come in a styrofoam sarcophagus like the old HMR Destroid Monster?
>>11233439> they’ve teased this thing for years and told us it will never happenBandai has been teasing commercialization for the past few years...
>>11233452Few years is an understatement. They’ve repeatedly shown the thing off for almost a decade now and nothing had come of it. I am glad they are releasing it I just don’t fucking understand the mindset of shadowdropping items this expensive, it’s not like Japan is doing well economically, surely these otaku need to budget too.
the gun on ZZ lol
>>11233476transforming zz finally?
A question for Metal build Expert. Does anyone else have a MB from Destiny 1st edition? Is it normal that you can't stand it up with its wings on the back? The wings are really heavy. With the stand there are no problems, but with the wings mounted I just can't keep it standing by itself
>>11233555Been awhile since I took it out of the box so maybe the ankles have weakened but you have to lean it forward unnaturally to get it to stand
>>11232793Wtf is this? The Qant 30 swords?
>>11233476Love it>>11233233And now I don't want Big Zam.Just give me some solid barely moving thing, it's not exactly a high articulation design
>>11233233More expensive than the Metal Build GN Arms. Metal support arm, would be cool if there's metal in the ankles and calves to help with weight balancing. 46cm high so it's pretty big, with LEDs. 500 still feels way too high though, 300 would feel a lot more appropriate. If we ever get a Dendrobium I'm sure we would be looking at 600+ with it having way more moving parts.
>>11233462I bet it gets people to impulse buy it because they want it without giving them weeks or months to realize it's just too expensive.
>>11233613>Just give me some solid barely moving thing, it's not exactly a high articulation designA 1/144 Sofubi Big Zam would be ideal
>>11233682Bandai Mobile Suit Series would be pretty cool, which is why they'll never do it.

Phantom
Should we talk about a more successful American initialized toyline? I'm talking about SD Flexion, which was made to promote the once-derided SD Gundam Force. There has been good figures, though they are ones that are seemingly Japan-original (like Zero Custom and the freaking Gundamusai).
>RD U Mazinger Z shown>is a two-pack with the Spazer>Also, were there really no A.N.I.M.E reveals beyond Big Zam? Weird. Or did I just miss them?

>>11233233Can I pay for this in installments if I choose the PayPal method? Or is it always upfront payment regardless?
>>11235021You always have the 4x payments option when using paypal, so long as the order is 20 bucks or more. For more I don't know, I've seen aliexpress and a bunch of other shops showing options with more installments, I don't know if it's possible if the shop itself doesn't show it
>>11234833the inevitable titans version might actually have me considering one of these things
>>11235021It'll be charge in full when it releases if you use debit or credit, but paypal definitely will have pay in 4 if you want or some other paypal credit method.
Man did they not show off one single normal, not metal not premium line Robot Spirits? Other than the Big Zam of course, but he's 500 dollars so he's not really a "normal" Robot Spirits.
>>11234556Anyone?
>>11235541They did.The Dom, Ball and Corebooster recolours, the Osaka Expo Gundam. And the Earth Colour version of the normal RX78-2 that uses some different plastic to be more eco.
They also showed off renewal Gundam Universe releases for the RX78-2, Unicorn, God Gundam and Barbatos with better looking paint, different accessories and better articulation
>>11235677>>11235678>>11235679Trying to be more like Robot Spirits but still be cheaper I guess?
>>11235698RD is way too expensive these days so understandable that Bandai need another enter/budget line for the long run
God I wish they would sell that G-Arcane.
>>11233555The Destiny design in general is top heavy and they made the feet tiny on the MB so you're going to have problems without a stand no matter what.
>>11233462>surely these otaku need to budget tooMost otakus can't afford toys. I'd wager most of the sales are coming from overseas and scalpers.
What exactly does this "re-coordinate" bs even mean? And why do they keep pumping these out instead of giving us a retail reissue of the MB SF at a price that's actually obtainable?
>>11235838>at a price that's actually obtainable?Because the real seedfags will cough up any price Bandai sets
>>11235838>re-coordinateWhen ever they do rereleases/remakes in Japan they love putting Re: in front of something.Re-coordinate is just a marketing term. For their 3rd SF release.Wouldn't be surprised in another Infinite Justice is coming up soon too.I do wish they would do more MRDs for other AUs though, feels like SEED is getting so many.00 was the first one, I think and they still only have the 00 Raiser. Not even an Exia or Quanta even though the later shares 50% of the same body as the 00.
>>11233476They had to sell these Engage designs somewhere. Btw, both Zeta and ZZ can transform with these new parts in the game cinematic.
>>11234560Well first off you'll be waiting for a while because that thing is currently just a display piece so there's no way to know how long it'll take for it to be made.Second, I hope you don't care about VF-1 figures because they're still getting cockblocked by the Harmony Gold Robotech situation.Third, there's an existing perfectly fine VF19Kai from Arcadia/Yamato that's been around for the better part of the decade that you can look into in the meantime.
>>11235824I have a stand for diecast figure period. Diecast loosening is the worst fucking thing ever so i put any type of support with it to ensure it doesnt explode.

I bought the sf metal robot because for 18000 yen, it is cheap enough for me to actually buy it.How is the SF metal robot anyway?I only have the soul blue and that is a fucking beauty but removing dragoons was frightening.
>first release>rfk, the one i bought>alternative strike>dragon>thisIncluding blueframe and the several gold variants, this motherfucker has more reuses of the body than exia at this point right?
>>11239353Ignoring the minor mold adjustments from the recent releases I think so, Exia and Crossbone are the only molds with a similar amount of reuses.
>>11239353The Astray releases seem limited to Japan, we didn't get the recent Blue Frame through official channels here.
>>11239353I'm desperately trying to sell an old red astray MB at a bargain price, but there's no demand because this son of a bitch has been reissued more times than the Exia.
>>11239709Yeah, plus with the Astrays they keep updating the mold, so it makes the older ones loose tons of value unless it's got rare weapons like the Blue Frame.Honestly your only options are to sell it at an even cheaper price which is basically giving it away, or holding onto it for like another 10 years.
Do you think the inevitable FXA-05D G-Defenser Ver ANIME will be a webshop exclusive or general retail?
