Anyone else hoping we get some more articulated Digimon for the anniversary? I picked up the Anime Heroes on a whim and, aside from the stiffness of Omegamon's cape, I'm surprised how much I like them. I'd love to see more from them, like WereGarurumon, Vamdemon, Angemon, Digimon, etc. And that's just if we're sticking strictly to more humanoid bodies.
>>
>>11220616
There's just not much to talk about lately sadly. I think most people have accepted the Anime Heroes line is dead at this point. Figure-rise finally announced a new release and it's a recolor of Omegamon X. The G.E.M line hasn't shown anything since Machinedramon was released nearly a year ago and the line's prices had gotten out of control besides. The most interesting thing's been weirdly high quality PVC reproductions of resins like the MetalEtemon in your pic. They're coming out with a Flamedramon, Magnaangemon, and a Kumamon of all things next.

I told you this would happen. You knew it too. Fucking Bandai

Just ordered a Vital Bracelet BE on P-Bandai, hope it gets here soon.
I'm still really enjoying my original VB and decided it was finally time to upgrade, the Ultraman and Rider DIMs are honestly just as fun as the Digimon ones for me

GaruruAnguirus, of course.

Really not much going on. Which is rather frustrating when Digimon's been doing well as a whole for Bandai. Doing more than one new kit a year or a line of toys that are cheaper but cover more than the same 2 or 3 Digimon would be nice to see.
>>
>>11222828
Swerve and MechaGodzilla is the partner. Is a strange mixture of Omegamon and Milleniumon aspects.

>>
>>11222964
Digimon is doing well BECAUSE of how they're handling it, and by that I mean they only expect so much and it's hitting that minimum and zondwhat more because of the tiny pieces of scraps getting bought up (mostly by scalpers). They dont trust it to do any better than how it is doing right now.
>>

Some what*

Egg on the faces of people who bought those for $12.

>>11220987
If these show up in Canada at dollarama like the shodo did last year I'd grab them. I don't think these ever showed up at any store here so there wasn't even the option of getting then at full price.
>>
>>11220987
how is beelzemon? been thinking of grabbing this one because the model kit is too robotic looking
>>
>>11224617
nta but Beelzemon is pretty neat. Don't expect high quality figure for the price and it's alright. He has this weird drop down waist that doesn't seem to do anything other than make a gap and his guns seem fitted to specific hands.

>>
>>11224644
NTA, but just search Digimon on Aliexpress. They've been doing a bunch of reproductions of resins for cheap. There's another slightly larger MetalEtemon coming out for like $5 more.
>>
>>11224747
damn i love that metalseadramon
>>
>>11224747
I could totally go for a few Bakemons
Doubly so if they take the mold and make some Soulmon, too

Finally forced myself to start watching Frontier and maybe it's just because I don't watch much anime anymore but I'm enjoying it. A Fairymon SHF would be nice.
>>
>>11225313
Enjoy the first half while it lasts because it was decent. It goes to absolute shit and drops QUICK after cherubmon.
I hope you liked team rocket because the main characters are basically that. I rewatched the last 2 episodes recently and it was amazing how susanoomon was weakshit till he magically pulled out a oneshot twice.
>>
>>11220616
>Anyone else hoping we get some more articulated Digimon for the anniversary
It'll probably be an omnimon or some shit but we'll never get a reissue of base Amped.
>>
>>11225313
Frontier is the worst because they turn into monsters, and the monsters are humanoid most of the time because of how unhinged the beast modes are. Savers brought back tradition and features the best Digidestined ever.
>>
>>11225848
At this point I'd settle for a Standard classic Omegamon. It's rather surprising that they've showed restraint in not releasing one yet.
>>
>>11224638
Palworld won.
>>
Goddamn it. I've been packing up for a move and one of the ears on my Digivolving Spirits Metalgarurumon popped off and went flying into the ether of my room and even after cleaning al,ost everything up I still can't find it. It's stressing me out way more than it should. Especially since I display that you in it's Gabumon form. I'm hoping it's under my desk or something and I'll find it when the room is completely cleared out. I hate my tism sometimes. Thanks for reading my blog DigiBros.
>>
>>11226285
That's a good point, how did dukemon manage to get a standard before omega?
And that P-Bandai special colour one too.

Someone making kits must love it.
>>
>>11226222
>Frontier is the worst because they turn into monsters
I don't think the concept of human DigiDestined turning into Digimon is a bad thing, but Frontier definitely handled it poorly.
I've always thought a game that used the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon basic plot layout could work pretty well with Digimon - the player gets yoinked into the Digital World at the start of the game, converted into data, and turned into a Digitama that hatched into a Baby stage Digimon dependant on the outcome of a brief questionnaire you take in the prologue; you meet and build a team of other, actual Digimon while navigating the world to try to solve whatever the issue was that landed you in the Digital World and try to find a way back home, all while raising your party and learning how to Digivolve yourself. What you end up as depends on your actions and dialogue choices, and so on. The game wouldn't have to be a Shiren-style dungeon crawler like PMD, it would just follow the basic plot skeleton.
>>
>>11226222
still better than savers

Frontier is great & tokupilled.
>>
>>11220987
Been seeing these at Ross too. I keep thinking about getting Wargreymon.

I don't know why Digimon is so stuck spinning its wheels doing the same shit over and over.

My son got WarGreymon when I got the other two in the OP. He's pretty nice for a budget option, especially at that price. I've been thinking of grabbing one myself.
>>
>>11224644
I got him on AliExpress for like $11. He's nice, but does have some imperfections in the clear coat and some lines in the molding. I'm tempted to get the other one I saw where he's flexing too.
>>
>>11224747
I was eyeing those Bakemon when I got MetalEtemon. I'd love a Pumpmon too.

He was a very good build, I'll have to take more pictures with my imperialdramons in the morning.
Definitely do that alphamon though, that one was very satisfying.
>>
>>11228054
Can't wait to get this myself. I still need MetalGreymon too
>>
>>11228221
Do it, MetalGreymon is another solid one.
Tell you what though, I wish War and Black War were made later and didn't have those shitty polycap legs that break.
>>
>>11228054
I'm so lazy when it comes to the model kits, but they're basically our only hope for non-statues at this point. Still have to build Magnamon and pick up Shinegreymon.
>>
>>11234761
I can't believe they skipped Xros for kits.
It was the perfect opportunity for modular Digimon kits and you know they want to because omegamon comes with parts for other kits like an part for the Garuru Cannon that can hold Dukemon's lance.
>>
Man, I got the Omnimon amplified kit recently, and I feel he’s really lacking. Can’t really stand under his own power
>>11228054
Still waiting on mine to come in, excited for it though
>>
>>11234903
I mean Digimon as a whole feels like it's run by retarded monkeys. It's got tons of marketable characters, but we get SCRAPS at best.
>>
>>11220987
Oof, id gladly grab some of these but the ross nearby NEVER has anything like this and the toy section is just odds and ends or crap that shouldnt have been made.

You wouldn't think X would be much different but it really is.
>>
>>11220816
Wondering why Bandai didnt took advantage of their figuarts mini line and released the Adventure cast.
Seems that Digimon, just like Pokemon, is doomed to prize figures and cheap scales

>>
>Big Bandai model kit news dump last week
>No Digimon news
Life is suffering
>>
>>11238299
I'm still mad that the only kits this year were Paildramon and a fucking recolor and not even an Amplified Chaos Dukemon, just a "special coating" one.
>>
>>11238755
Same. Bandai's picking a really awful time to scale back on their recolor abuse. Can't say much for anyone else, but I'd take canon recolors for exclusives or metallic paint any day.
>>
>>11238790
They could have so easily made a virus Metal Greymon or Rize Greymon and I'm just dumbfounded that they didn't.
>>
>>11238811
I can understand not releasing either of those so relatively soon after their predecessors, but it's still frustrating how they're staggering their releases now. Going from three new kits and two repaints in a year to a single new kit and repaint is pain.
I don't know what the numbers are telling them, but there's no way this is a viable strategy.
>>
>>11228054
>>11228379
nta but my MetalGreymon should arrive next week.
Can't wait.
