Any reviews for the Digimon device that the Monster hunter one is based off of? Have only ever owned a classic Tamagotchi so I want to know what these modern devices are capable of. Also is Vital Bracelet coming back? Exercising to level up your creature sounds cool but I heard the latest ones were bad.

I said in a previous thread that I thought the Uni was the best Tamagotchi device yet. I was completely wrong. Its fucking awful. Easily one of the worst v-pets ever released. Literally nothing to do and has a tiny roster. The Tamaverse is a massive letdown. The whole device is completely focused around shitty minigames.
id l - 4u era was the best and i miss it. dont care about the girliness it was just fun.

They basically cant die, defeating any sense of urgency of even raising a Tama. They've casualized the whole experience to the point that the babysitter isnt even needed anymore.Theres nothing to fucking do and some shitty minigame whenever they feel like isnt content. Why is it so hard for them to just do the Meets app but completely on the device? The Tamaverse is complete trash and the DLC characters being "eat/do thing the most" is retarded.Personalities are shit, most of the time they just stay in the same spot all day. They dont even run around the room anymore. I hate having to see the logo every single time I activate the device and it makes me appreciate how fast the other color models were (excluding the Meets). I'm sure theres other things I could rant about but my point is that the Uni is completely soulless and an utterly shit vpet.

>>11232621aside from the new digimon collab that's coming there's also the mothra tamagotchi. the digital monster v5 roster has mons whose sprites resemble various kaiju.outside of bandai stuff though i'm not sure. there were all sorts of oddpets coming out around the 90s. it's not very well documented. off the top of my head i can't think of any with that theming.

Just got a Connection and a DM20. Having fun so far. I can't wait to get to the version 5 line on my DM20 so I can have a taste of the Godzilla device. I need that so bad.
