I got it for cheap on brick link and when it arrived one arm was badly cracked and loose (I new it was used and one hand missing so no problem with the seller) so I had to replace the arm and tighten it by wadding with some tissue. Curiously the cracked arm with a hand missing was the one that is meant to be a normal hand and the normal hand (which worked completely fine immediately) is on the side that the hook is meant to be on.

I tried making a cloak using some scrap fabric and some small scissors, I think it looks alright for a first try. Here it is both with and without a hood, I still gave her hair in the second image because I don't think she'd want to be bald.

I built the big Christmas tree set, and honestly the build doesn’t go together the way I was expecting. The biggest build has you create the top and the bottom of the tree, but when connecting them together there’s no stud connections locking anything in place. It’s just loose and wobbles, even with little stud towers to keep it from spinning. May take it apart and make the two smaller trees from it. Honestly if there ever was a design to update, it’d be this one.

Questions for /lg/Does LEGO do sales on Black Friday/around Christmas time? I haven't bought LEGO in a while so I'm not certain if they even have big sales. I'm aware the Lion Knights' Castle was 25% off not too long ago (which I missed), is that common?Should I wait for any upcoming Black Friday/Christmas sales to buy some sets I want or should I just buy them now because they might not be in stock once a sale starts? As far as I'm aware, the sets I'm looking at right now will be retiring soon.
>>11226158That's pretty much the only time they have sales on their website. Even then, the black friday sales are only for certain items and not all sets get a discount. The only other items that get a price reduction are retiring sets when they are clearing inventory. If there are retiring sets you are interested in then you may want to go ahead and get them. Obviously check other retailers and see if there is a cheaper price than straight from lego.

I've got Knight Vampire and D&D Vampire minifigure today. Planning to get that S24 Orc and S15 Frightening Knight at some point because Morning Star is badass. Any decent castle sets or brick packs (especially gray) for moc building?
