New Neca store preorders went up for some TMNT items. Mirage Leatherhead and specter TMNT 3-pack from The Last Ronin. Preorders are up until December 30th. Not exclusive, just first to ship.

I think you can still get the Krampus pack too, those seem to be shipping out to people already.

It got brought up last thread, but there's apparently a new program they're going to start on the store in January. Curious what kind of stuff they'll be offering up. Them tossing variants and stuff up here seems smart, if it's what I think it is. Guess we'll see.
>>
Chance that NECA'll re-release a lot of those really awesome props and large pieces from the old Nightmare Before Christmas line?
>>
Did neca ever make mona lisa, lotus, crooked ninja turtle 2pks available through their store?

Yeah no fucking thanks, stinks of this shit. And now the bots will be able to get in even earlier to swipe all the pre-orders so that's a great fucking addition.
>>
>>11260810
I know I bought both Crooked Ninja Turtle packs from the NECA store

>>11260728
In good standing clearly a reference to the Donnie's Lab situation
>>
What do you think of the 2006 12-inch Davy Jones figure? I don't know what to expect from an 18-year-old figure. This character doesn't seem to have much in the way of great figures if you don't want to fork over a car for the Hot Toys or don't trust Beast Kingdom (as awesome as it looks). The regular Series 1 Jones from Neca looks awful.
>>
>>11260815
Even if bots do, they cancel those orders anyway. And that alien club thing was pretty great. I still have those Kenner backdrops they did. They're beautiful.
>>
>>11260820
>The regular Series 1 Jones from Neca looks awful.
Really? It's not that articulated, but it's a pretty great looking figure. It was the first Pirates figure I ever bought from them
>>
>>11260824
The face sculpt I'm looking at is discouraging but it could just be the lighting or something.
>>
>>11260818
Yea that sounds about right, i hope they re-release all those 2pks again. I cant find the other 2 in the wild and didnt have the money to get the crook turtles when neca sold it.
>>
>>11260824
>>11260827
They have a great Jones and an awful one that looks like a melted, yellow mess.
>>
>>11260835
You're right, the good one is going for even more than the Beast Kingdom figure I'm considering.
>>
>>11260834
I'm hoping we get another shot at the Rock Soldiers. I have four, but we need the gray ones, and I wouldn't mind a couple others of the brown.

It's pretty funny that they are threatening to ban the customers that pump the most money into the company over their own fuck up. This is one of those situations where it would be cheaper in the long run to just take the L and spend some money to retrain the warehouse staff, because it's not like this is the only time this has happened.

The existence of his shitty MOTU knockoff that you kept trying to shill proves you wrong.
Anyway, since you don't want to watch the video because you don't know how to adblock, he mentions someone he knows that never received an extra Lab getting harassed by NECA to return something
he was never sent, meanwhile someone that is actively trying to return their extra Lab is getting ignored by NECA CS.
So this isn't over, and your attempts to memoryhole this incident are laughable.

Color me interested.
>>
>>11260707
This Krampus would be great.... if it wasn't just a stationary figurine essentially. Like it's way overpriced for what it is.
>>
>>11262458
How are they giving bad service?
>>11262466
Yes, he has no legs, but he’s a lot more articulated than you would think in other areas. Plus with the amount of sculptwork, fantastic paint apps, and a wide spread of accessories I think the price is justified.
>>
>>11262466
>Like it's way overpriced for what it is.
No, it really isn't. Unique one time sculpt, accessories, chains, paint hits all add up that cost.
>>
>>11262479
>>11262481
Arm & head articulation is not enough. I'd expect this price only if he was an actual cloth figure with movable legs.
>>
>>11262483
Have you even seen the movie? Having cloth robes would not only look worse, but serve no purpose. He doesn’t need legs.
>>
>>11262483
Cloth would drive up the price. You're asking for a muuuuch more intricate piece of fabric goods than just some solid color robe.
>>
Anyone seen both Nosferatus in person? I can't decide between color or B&W. Even if B&W is more true to the film I worry it might look strange as a figure and the subtle coloring of the colored version better
>>
>>11262700
So far I've only seen the regular in person, and even that's been sparse. It kind of hit and then sold out. I think Best Buy still has it on shelf right now around here.
>>
>>11262706
Oh and it looks like the black and white version is back in stock on Target's site.
>>
If you were thinking of getting a Mystery blind box, I recommend against it. All the best stuff seems gone or going quick, boxes are showing up with 18 year old Harry Potter figures from 2007. First boxes that shipped out were full of awesome stock, if excess, now you can't even expect that. Mostly Gargoyles, Flash Gordon, Back to the Future, ET stuff that won't sell.
>>
>>11262877
All of that is still great stuff. Especially the Harry Potter figures.

>>11262926
True, yes. But fuck eBay sellers in general.

Ehh, there’s a few newer, good things, but it’s mixed in with pegwarmers that we were seeing a lot in the mystery box. You’d basically end up getting 2 or 3 newer figures and the rest are pegwarmers to hit the 5 figure deal.

NECA Ben Cooper New Upcoming Characters Announced

These do not seem to have a set release day yet. Superhero was announced earlier, but it shows the whole line which I have not recalled seeing in its entirety.

The Fly, BatGirl, BatMan, The Joker, SuperMan, WonderWoman, Clown, Metaluna Mutant, Spooky Monster, Visable Man and Wolf Man.
>>
>>11263360
Oh wow, those are cool as hell. I need Spooky Monster in my life.

>>11263360

>>
>>11262883

>>11263334
So its 12 days of pegwarmers

So what if I want 1 fig from day 1 and another 4 from day 2, will they be availble throughout the whole event? Or do they disappear each day?
I dont wanna get stuck with doubles of merchandise I didnt order.
>>
>>
Target's site has the Romulus Xeno, Jack and David 2-pack, and Vincent Price in stock for shipping if anyone is after those. And the 3 series 2 Ben Cooper figures.
>>
The second day of "12 Days" drops has some really interesting stuff too. If you needed the glow in the dark Gill Man (you do), the black and white Foot, SDCC ALF, or even the Kenner packaging colors Xenomorph, good time to snag them.
>>
>>11263601
They change every day unfortunately, so it’s gonna be hard to hit the 5 figures for $100 and actually get 5 things you like unless you just collect a lot of NECA themes.
>>11264132
You forgot to mention they have Harry Potter Snape and Twilight Jacob… those are really old and rare for anyone looking for them. Not sure how they even still have them.
>>
>>11263614
Are these out? These pics have me wanting the figures pretty bad now.
>>
>>11264271
>Not sure how they even still have them.
probably ancient hastings stock. i cleared out like ten of the stores during their final days but left stuff like that behind.
>>
More good stuff for the third drop. Grindhouse Tarantino is an oddball one, but neat. Some retro cloth Gorilla Soldiers, Ace Ventura, Terminator more Predators.
>>
>>11264810
I thought they stopped Terminator stuff a long time ago
>>
>>11265496
Oh, no, they've been doing re-releases of the stuff for a while. The Police Assault T-800 even got the updated ball hips on the most recent production. They even did face printing on the figures.
>>
Looks like they are doing "remix" listings, so that ought to give people an option of getting something later if they didn't like the batch of figures before.

Tempted on blue Renet...
>>
>>11265878
Isn’t blue renet pretty easy to get?
>>
>>11265952

>>
The "Alien Day" Kenner Vasquez is up for order on today's drop. If anyone still needed it.
>>
>>11266844
Need her but need Ripley more
>>
Has anyone seen or heard anything about the $2,000 blind boxes? They were supposed to be shipping out one a day but I’ve yet to see anybody post that they got it or anything. Seems sus.
>>
The blindboxes are probably a tell of what's to come in the 12days of figures, given the HP/Twilight crap showing up in the. You can probably expect gargoyles stuff coming up too.
>>
>>11266862

Is there a chance between the blind boxes and the 12 days of figures that NECA is clearing out their warehouse to switch over to retailers only? >>
>>11268267
A note of apology? Holy fuck, you are nuts if you think anyone expects that or deserves that. It's great to see they're getting the labs from people and getting them to the people that ordered. The only ugly side has been from shitheel collectors that tried to keep them.

Dear moderately valued customer,

We are sorry that we fucked up and sent your Donnie's Lab Diorama to another customer. We have made things right by giving the person who received your diorama due to our ineptitude a $100 voucher for the Necastore as a bribe to get them to send the diorama back to us, and you are now blessed with the opportunity to receive second hand product for full price. We have opened it to make sure all the parts were there, but we can make no assurances that the previous customer hasn't rubbed their smegma encrusted member all over it while they were in possession of it. If you are unhappy with this, feel free to try to find a sealed Donnie's Lab on eBay for the same price.

Sincerely,
NECA

This hardly counts anymore. The Predator line use to have 3 figures per wave, several waves a year. Now it's come to a complete stop. The Foot were into some twisted shit. Mystic worms that fed on the real Shredder's remains and became the deformed clones of Shredder. There's a four armed Shredder clone and a mini-Shredder too.

These same worms that made these things end up getting eaten by a shark, who then mutates into the Shredder-Shark monster in another comic.

>>
>>11272865

No, that would be you. I've already explained to you how less articulation equals a cheaper product, and cited an example of a character with the same amount of paint in roughly the same scale, and all you've done is cry "nuh-uh" and continued your larp.
That's all you can do.
>>
>>11272879
You are so adorable. So please, would you like to tally up the cost of everything else, including licensing fees? Or would that mess up your autistic focus on only articulation? Oops.
>>
>>11272880
>licensing fees
My example was exactly the same character in roughly the same scale from the same company. All under the same licensing agreement.
This was why I chose that as an example, but I could have chosen any of the dozens of characters that have both a Figma and a PuP, and the PuP is always cheaper.
>>
>>11272884
Oh so all licesing costs the same in your world? And factory costs? And paint apps, not to mention amount of paint apps are all certainly the same on anime titties that they would be on a movie monster figure. Sure, sure. And I'm sure the plastic costs are exactly the same too right? And packaging design, and shipping costs and on and on. All the same. Mmhmm. You live in a very small, very ill informed world.
>>
>>11272891
I was comparing the Pop Up Parade 2B to the Figma 2B to eliminate variables like size, paint etc. To show how with two products, negotiated under the same license, in roughly the same scale, of the same character, requiring the same paint apps, the statue will always be cheaper.
>not to mention amount of paint apps are all certainly the same on anime titties that they would be on a movie monster figure
That's not what I'm comparing, you jibbering fucking moron. You are quite literally arguing for the sake of arguing.
>plastic costs
Literally the same type of PVC that is used for action figures.
>shipping costs
Shipping costs usually end up being more for the statue since it can't be posed in a neutral pose that takes up less space, so you've fucked yourself there.
>>
>>11272902
So you actually have no idea how any manufacturing or costing out of a toy works? Okay then. This was fun but you're only showing your ignorance over and over.

>Literally the same type of PVC that is used for action figures.

Actually what is signed does have a bearing on how much the autograph is worth, and how in demand it is. No real autograph collector is going to want a mass produced card with a typo, especially when his signature is easily obtainable. You can probably get him to sign something without a typo when he goes to a local con. Sometimes you can even organise for him to sign whatever you send in beforehand, though the period of eligibility is closed for this Galaxy Con.

>>

I'm not surprised the nuance of this post is lost on you. You see, Comic Book Guy was trying to convince Bart that this was actually worth something, when the fact is, just like a signed card with the signatory's name misspelled, only someone ignorant of the market would think it was valuable.

Interesting update to the blind boxes, they changed the listed value from $500 to $400 today and got rid of any mention of the $2,000 mystery box that was supposedly being sent to a customer every day. Considering nobody ever posted about that, it was probably false advertising.
>>
>>11277220
Not everyone is a terminally online loser posting about what they bought. It wasn't false advertising. Quit throwing around terms when you clearly don't know what it means.
>>
>>11277227
Considering they’ve been doing the blind boxes for about a month and if they were truly sending out one every day or whatever, someone who’s in a NECA social media group would’ve posted one by now.
>>
>>11277220
>it was probably false advertising.
Wouldn't be the first time. Remember the "sturdy foam topper" for the sewer diorama?
>>
>>11277348
Nah I don’t, I don’t really follow the TMNT stuff. What was the deal with that?
>>
>>11277375
They included a sheet of foam board with a road print on it with the TMNT sewer lair so that you could place the Street Scene Diorama on top of it, since the sewer lair was only three walls and a floor with no roof, and the Street Scene Diorama doesn't have a solid base because it is made of several sections joined together, so it was going to require support to display like that. It was specifically advertised as "sturdy" but because it is made of flimsy foam board, every image ever posted shows the foam board bowing under the weight of the street scene diorama. You didn't need a physics or engineering degree to predict this would happen.
>>
>>11277390
No, that's you being a disingenuous asshole. The foam board is not flimsy, none of that is false advertising either. It is sturdy, and it's kept everything held up forever now.

Oh wow, look at how...little it's "sagging." But thanks for the red line you dolt. It's hilarious that you ignore the angle of the photo too.
>>
>>11277459
The floor of the sewer lair doesn't have the curve, and is at more of an angle to the camera lense, so your comment is pointless. I guess you could always enrol in a science course at your local community college if you want to try to use lense refraction as the basis of your argument.

>holding up all those figures plus giant playset without issue
you don't seem to understand what a fuck up is
>>
>>11277474
>holding up all those figures plus giant playset
Yeah. That's the point. It's why they don't make bookcases out of foam board.
>>
>>11277479
It's holding it all up without a problem. Yet you're crying about it like it is.
>>
>>11277482
>It's holding it all up without a problem
I dunno. That sag after only a few minutes of display is a bit of a problem. I'm glad you don't design footbridges.
>crying
Pointing out that foam board isn't sturdy doesn't constitute crying. You need to stop with the hyperbole.
>>
>>11277493
It's been holding up more than that for over a year. It's not a problem, it's you trying to shitpost about things that aren't problems.
>>
>>11277495
Post a pic then. Or are you afraid that we will see how bad the sag is.
>>

funny how no one else has had any problems with it after all this time and yet you, who don't own it, are the one ranting about it. true madness

Nice troll comeback. Shame it doesn't make any sense. At least you tried.
>>11277511
>funny how no one else has had any problems with it after all this time
No, hoardanon complained about it's flimsiness, and unlike you, he posts his toys. But let me guess, he doesn't count because you have a grudge against him.
So it took you 20 minutes to reply, but you still can't post a pic? But you've had it set up for a year? I'm guessing the foam board is drooping as much as your mother's tits and you are too embarrassed to show your failure.
I mean, look at >>11277447 again. Did you stop to wonder why anon didn't put more than 2 figures on the "sturdy" foam board level, and why he put the heaviest figure close to the edge?
>madness
Madness is expecting anyone to believe that foam board is sturdy.
>ranting
If we are including the pic anon asked for, I would have only made two comments about it if you didn't go into an obsessive compulsive sperg fit like you always do whenever you disagree with reality.
>>
>>11277532
Wow a known troll said something about it? That must mean it's true! Except no, it's not. And actual people have not had an issue.

>Did you stop to wonder why anon didn't put more than 2 figures on
Because he was just showing off his setup that he started putting together. It's amazing how you're trying to justify your shitty behavior and make claims for other people. You are insane.
>>
>>11277797
>You are insane.
You are the one trying to convince people foam board is sturdy.
>>
>>11277818
You are the one stealing people's images and making claims about something you don't own, have no experience with, and then make up insane stories about based on those images and your biases.
>>
>>11277884
Jesus Christ, you just keep digging yourself a bigger hole don't you? You constantly lie about these things and then you try to justify it using another troll's bullshit post? You're grasping at straws. Nobody's had a problem with the setup, nobody's reported any problems all this time, and yet you, YOU are so mad about that you're still trying to force the meme. How sad.
>>
>>11277884
so "flimsy" it's holding up a ton of weight and has for months and months and months. you don't understand words

>You constantly lie about these things
I posted a picture that proved it, and all you've done is screech for nearly two days. You say no one has had a problem with it, but when I show a post from someone that does have a problem with it, you dismiss that person as a troll, despite the fact that you have trolled him more than he has ever trolled you.
If I posted proof from Reddit, or Instagram, or Youtube, you would probably find another reason to dismiss it. No matter what, you will find a reason to reject reality.
So have another "stolen" photo from our very own archive that proves it isn't an isolated incident, or in my imagination, or whatever lame excuse you need to tell yourself to sleep at night.
>>
>>11277897
I have yet to see a photo of any diorama that has supported all of that weight for "months and months." Both of the "stolen" photos I retrieved from the archive were taken immediately after they were shipped to customers.
But like I said, you have had 24 hours to post your diorama that has been set up for "months and months." But I doubt you will, or you would have done it by now.
Seek help. And learn how to capitalise words and use punctuation. I understand it might be difficult when you are foaming at the mouth after being proved wrong repeatedly, but it might help your posts come across as less infantile.
>>
>>11277935
Oh boy, there's that bullshit red line again just to add on to your insane obsession.

>>11277937
That's nice dude. You're a troll and nothing has happened to the foam board. It's doing exactly what it's meant to do, and you are a child freaking out about it.
>>
>>11277945
>It's doing exactly what it's meant to do,
Bending under an amount of weight that it was never engineered to handle?
>>
>>11277945
>there's that bullshit red line again
The red line is a straight line, and it's there so you can't pretend that there is no curvature in the foam board. This is necessary because you are a prolific liar that would deny that there was any curve in the foam board, as you did when both of those photos were posted in past threads without the red line.
>>
>>11277935
>you dismiss that person as a troll,
NTA but that guy is a known troll, so, yeah, why would anyone believe him? And you posting >>11277532 is pretty silly given it was a troll response. Of course he was going to say something like that. He takes any chance he can to talk shit about neca stuff even though he buys it. Confirmation bias much?

You may now continue your pussy slap fight.
>>
>>11277959
>He takes any chance he can to talk shit about neca stuff even though he buys it.
That thread where he lambasted the flimsy foam board and the parts that don't stay stuck to Donnie's Lab walls was also the same series of posts where he posted Tatsu and the Triceraton Gladiators.
And do you know how much he shit talked about those figures?
Absolutely fucking zero.
He might be a smart ass that makes tongue in cheek jokes, but he praises things when appropriate and criticises when appropriate. But of course, having a sense of humor and not being a mindless consuming robot that praises everything makes you a troll in this day and age.
I would trust someone who openly criticises the products he buys because he has no loyalty to a company over someone who blindly praises everything a company makes.
>>
>>11277979
You sure love tonguing that loser's anus. Trolls love sucking off other trolls I guess.
>>
>>11277979
>and the parts that don't stay stuck to Donnie's Lab walls
Oh I remember those posts! Yeah! He was lying about that. Another anon proved he was wrong by showing everyone what he was doing. He was purposely not seating things correction so he could shitpost. Yeah, nobody should trust someone like that. That's pretty stupid.
>>
>>11278283
Nice attempt at rewriting history there bud. It's nice to see your schizo mentality is making you as paranoid as possible when people, gasp, like a thing. Bed with trolls, it just makes you look worse.
>>
>>11278321
Just as an observer, you seem to the one shitting your pants in anger over a foam board on a toy you don't own and have zero actual experience with. Not only that, but your whole fantasy is tied to the postings of a well known troll, and you seem to be happy to avoid the fact that not a single soul has had any complaints or problems with their setups. That really seems to bother you. It does, doesn't it? You've reposted images that weren't yours, complained and complained...for whom? You're the only one complaining. You have a true sickness. How weak minded are you to have let a playset bother you this badly? You are a pitiable monster.
>>
>>11277422
>all the ones I saw it seemed to hold it normally.
Yeah, it's because they do. You'll notice nobody has ever posted about anything falling or whatever. The whole thing is a dumb argument. Best you not get roped in to.
>>
Gonna need a Skarsgard Orlok now.
>>
>he's still going
That's pretty sad.
>>
The foam board is a distraction. We shouldn't be so focussed on the foam board, and we should return to the original allegations of false advertising made in this thread: has anyone seen, anywhere, on any toy forum, someone posting about receiving a $2000 blind box?
>>
>>11278472
No, that was in reference to you and all your insane diatribes. Because you really do need help.
>>
>>11278673
>No u
Give it up. You lost.
Now let's focus on the whereabouts of the $2000 blind boxes and if they even exist, or if it was another shady ploy by NECA.
>>
>>11278695
>trying to change the subject after embarrassing himself so badly
You really are pathetic.
>>
>>11278695
No, sorry, nobody is interested in more of your brain rot conspiracy theories. Not everyone is online, not everyone would've gotten that box.
>>
>>11278709
The lack of any reports of the $2000 boxes was what led to the falsely advertised sturdy foam board being brought up. I'm just getting the discussion back on track after you screeched about the foam board to distract from the original allegation.
>>11278710
>Not everyone is online
You literally had to be online to purchase them.
But the odds that not a single collector on any toy forum or social site never received one, or even knows someone who received one, is astronomically small. Statistically improbable.
>>
>>11278717
Or, you know, you're an insane person who doesn't know what you're talking about. I think that's far more likely.
>>
>>11278448
Nekkid or clothed?
>>
I’m a little annoyed, I ordered a horror mystery box way back on the 15th when it restocked and I’ve yet to get a shipping notification for it. My biggest worry is now that they’ve switched the value from $400 to $500 that I may not receive as much as I was promised when I ordered, but we’ll see it. Hopefully it ships this week.
>>
>>11279519
Meant $500 to $400
>>
>>11278448
I'd be surprised if they don't. If nothing else, Mezco is doing him.
