She has a new head and helmet at least. Also it looks like they made her pinless so that's somewhat of an upgrade to people. I would have rather seen Luke as a standalone release just for army building purposes and had them do Leia and Chewie in his bounty hunter disguise as a two pack instead, but it is what it is I guess.

I'm a mostly EU guy in terms of what I collect, so just the Shadows of the Empire figures right now. I already have Boush Leia, so I feel like a chump putting down money for the new two pack, but I had the royal guard Luke as a kid and the pull of nostalgia is too strong.

I also caved on the Heir to the Empire TVC three pack that went up today too. No way I can pass up finally getting representation for my man Pellaeon in the collection.

Finally got around to swapping the lower legs of the Blurrg Mando with some from the Mines of Mandalore version thanks to the holiday sales. Also swapped the cape too because I like the weathered version more. Just need to do some painting on his armor and he'll be set.

I'm done with the Micro Galaxy line. It was already annoying to collect, so hadn't bought anything since the Naboo Starfighter, but I recently got the Ghost from Walmart and it had so many qc problems (front turret completely bent, top turret was broken, one of the buttons didn't do anything, one light was out, canopy didn't close properly, it's impossible to open the smuggler compartment). I had to get another and while that one was better, it still had some weird issues (one landing gear is loose, cockpit seats are all misaligned, smuggler compartment is completely loose). Every other ship I got had some weird flaw and I just don't want to deal with this anymore.

Black series Vader is just okay imo. I don't remember if the ESB retool fixed it but the older version's shoulders were too close to the body and the hand hinge directions were bad. And they never gave it pinless knees or fixed the annoying gigantic cape. They've released like 20 Vaders in the last couple years, they may as well have invested in an all new sculpt. She's did okay in Last Figure Standing. Geonosis Arena Padme was #55 overall. The community was definitely jealous of the recent Black Series version from TPM too. Mr. Stevie just did a panel in Europe and said 2026 will be a "new era" for collecting in TVC. And considering 2025 is Return to Tatooine themed and 2077 is most likely focused around A New Hope for the anniversary, it would make sense if 2026 was more prequel heavy. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a new Padme coming then and it would use the legs they tooled up for Leia that are underneath her dress.

It's such a weird pack. The cape on clone wars Anakin is so goofy. I think it's from concept art or something? Would've been better if they recolored the figure to make it closer to the 2003 micro series design. And red saber Anakin only exists in Ahsoka's dreams so two out of three are looks that he didn't even have in canon.

I think the set is an overall better deal for me so I'm cancelling the Ahsoka version for this. He has the scar here unlike the Ahsoka version and the cape is a nice touch. I wanted a new ROTS version for years so I'm more than happy to get that even though it's obvious he'll be on a card later. The Vader is just a nice bonus since I passed on the Death Star 2 version from the ROTJ anniversary at the time. I like that they did a skull inside the helmet (even though I'm going to pop on the head from an extra Dark Times figure). Plus I've lost almost all of my electric effects pieces like that so it will be nice to have some replacements.

Can someone aware me on the target audience or why this 6 inch stormtrooper is nearly $100 bucks? Like why would someone get this over the Figuarts if they want an import? Or why is it so expensive? I'm looking at the Mafex figures on amiami right now. And those Boba Fetts are still there, even cheaper than I thought. $36 each and they're awesome. It seems like Mafex (unlike Figuarts for example, those preorders are always a shit show) the figures pretty much never sell out, and always gets cheaper/discounted later on. At least that's what it looks like. definetly not used to seeing that with imports lol.
