>>11272470Honestly I'm having trouble figuring out what i want to do for my next moc. I wanna do something for a classic theme pre 2002, maybe a ninjago villain team, but I really can't think of what to go with.

Got these two Dollar Tree burger restaurants. After building both, I took one apart removing all the green so the buildings matched and rearranged the other set's interior and switched sides of open order area to other wall to make both buildings one half of the same instead of two seperate. I could make it even better is I used any parts outside of the sets, but this is the best I could do using onklly ounces from both sets to combine them.

>>11281299Really cool to see this one lit up like this, remember when you originally posted it.
>>11281331Yeah. Sadly I took it apart, but such is the MOC life. I played with it a bunch and took a bunch of photos before it was disassembled, so it will still live on. And Nathaniel Napsalot is still having plenty of Adventures. He is currently at sea, but I hope to MOC him a sick giant pirate island in the next year. I have a parts wish list on Bricklink, but I'm iffy because I MOC freestyle and wanna be sure I get all the parts I need. I'm sort of designing it in my head styled like Rock Island Refuge, but with Blackjack and Hookers.

Little dude I did for my sister in law for her Dnd character for the holidays. Yes there’s bootlego I don’t care.
>>11283453Very badass dude. I remember you originally posting that. How did your holiday go over and did you guys do any more playing and building?
>>11283694Im guessing you’re >>11283269and also >>11282995>>11281422>>11281299Kek. You’re one of my favorite humans. Holidays were kinda shit honestly but we survived and have been having fun with the new lego sets we got. I see you’ve been fuckin BUSY and I’m looking forward to that big badass castle review when you get it all done. Bullshit that you got a busted clip like that but that’s why bootlegos exist! Hopefully Lego will get better at quality but I think we’ll reach a middle ground between bootlego and LegoTM bricks where they’re all shit compared to the past but the difference between will be negligible. Sister in law loved the tiny DnD moclet. She was like “wait IS THAT ME?!” And was super thrilled. We’re still rocking the bootlego castle but the kids got the 3-1 set up with those bootlego pirate ships. You stay golden my fren and I hope you and the partner had a good holidays… vegetarian… just when I thought he was cool! Lol.
For the great Wolfpack clan, Are the men that God made mad, For all their wars are merry, And all their songs are sad
Hello as I have been very busy finishing Uni I have had little time to continue my LEGO passion, though last week I had a few hours free and here are the results, a small prison (the castle) and a gallows (complete with holding cell, spetator seating and a cart to carry away the dead).I call it, The Last of the Wolfpack

All the parts I ordered for a MOC finally came in last yesterday, only took like 3 months. Very excited to work on it. Sorting is gonna be the biggest pain though>>11283761Thanks bro. I'll probably review my Imperial Ship I got for Christmas first. I had a lot more fun with that simply because I'm Piratesfag. I got LKC because it was such a good deal, but I already knew it wasn't for me when it first came out. It's just TOO big and although lots of fun neat stuff, the set itself isn't **fun to play with** which is the most important part. Creator 3in1 Medieval Castle in main Castle build is more fun to "play with" than Lion Knight Castle if you toss extra figures to interact with. It has more space to put stuff and although the rooms are cramped, all the spaces let you imagine whatever there. I guess if you have no imagination at all LKC is better, but it kinda of sucks to actually play with. I don't have kids of my own, but I play with this shit as if I was still playing with my nephews who all grew up. If I can't "play with" a set that's not a direct display piece like an Architecture set, why bother?
>>11285880I just placed a Bricklink order for my vintage castle MOCs. Some old grays and brown, blue roofslopes etc.

>>11288085I like the heart head. Is that from the Cupid? Might be worth getting for that and the wings. I just can't stand those tiny legs that can't move. Please tell me it's legs move.Cute scene, though I don't get what's going on the wolf's back.
>>11288462Heart head is from the new cupid - the other side is a cute blush face. I got two because that head is the perfect exploitable and I'm also collecting angel wings. The legs are the stupid mini legs - but for trivia's sake they can *triple* mold that element so there's a lot of variety they can do without printing. Scenes aren't going to make any literal sense since my brother and I are just going ludo with a box of pieces. We're both living with our dad during his final days so that's my brother and I's outlet to play together like when we were kids. The wolf is being accessorised like Okami and my brother loves standing up those Juniors/Jack Stone technic connectors and saying "these beasts used to roam the earth...">>11288262>>11288264Real men see this and say hell yeah. Hey folks, looking for a bit of advice, I want to put purple pieces into pic related so it's similar to this https://drive.google.com/open?id=1dK4sCqAw5BYwsTfhVDO55bjtvY2DeilK and it should be able to close, any suggestions?
>>11288547Ended up turning the 10 dollar and 5 dollar lego city space mechs into the wearable suit, a tripod flier, and a mod of the 5 dollar mech where the mining element from the 10 dollar set can actually reach the fucking ground
WIP on the first MOC I've done since growing out of LEGO when I hit my teens. I started him with mostly the bits from the first AT-TE kit with the moving parts from the old Prehistoric Power Creator. Ended up having to buy so many loose Star Wars grey parts still. The old click-click-click style ball joints are still good 20 years later and are absurdly strong for holding poses. I always wanted them to do a grey pachyderm Creator 3:1, so that's basically what I'm trying to go for. Plan is to make two swappable ball joint heads for an elephant and Paraceratherium option off the same body.
>>11289027and reverse angle.
>>11289028Looks great and I agree the galidor style rachet joints are the best system Lego has made so far. The Creator team has been killin' it with the animals lately, so I hope you get your wish. Definitely share your own 3 in 1 or whatever it turns into.
>>11289027>>11289028Looks hella cool. And even cooler when compared to that Creator Dragon. Great job on your MOC
>>11288659Can't believe they left the dog back on earth
>>11289226>>11289153thanks. I always thought the buildable action figures were cool; the animals included. Spent last evening figuring out the head for him. I'm wanting it to read more as cute than ferocious. And went ahead and ordered 60 bucks worth of light bluish grey curves and slopes to round him out, so I guess this is how it begins.
>>11284145>>11287319>>11288085Lots of Wolfpack MOCs in this thread, I love it.
>>11290691I can't compete with using my low level of parts. I had a rock piece and a bunch of little things and leftover studs on side bricks I built a small mountain/cave for my custom Wolfpack. I got my huge parts order for building a MOC Castle, but it was gonna be for Lion Crusaders, so These guys will have to wait til my next big parts order for a proper home. Until then, they're just raiding every other Castle they come across
There's a bricks & minifigs only 10 minutes from where I'm staying. The pab and buck-per-piece selections were really good but I couldn't get carried away like at home.>>11290951>Until then, they're just raiding every other Castle they come acrossBased. Could be fun doing a moc of a fortress they just recently took over and are in the middle of wolf-packing
How expensive is pick a bricking from Lego? Getting discouraged with MOCCing rn because it mostly feels like a piece count game above anything. I see these amazing mocs on youtube and other places and the designs always come down to "Well I know a bunch of SNOT techniques that basically let me do whatever the hell I want and then I had enough plates and covered plates in all the colors I needed already ready to go." There's never any "I guess that being a slightly different shade isn't too noticeable" there's no "oh fuck yeah 2x1 I can use this with this other 2x1 and it's basically the same thing as that 2x2 on the other side"
>>11291099Yeah there's definitely a barrier to moc'ing freely. For me I'm lucky enough to have a decent collection since lego but I've also expanded lots by buying bulk lots from facebook etc now I only bricklink when there's some super specific parts I need. The disadvantage to bulk lots is the work needed to sort and clean them.
>>11291099FB marketplace is the best way to build a lego collection. During covid I swept up all sorts of poorly-listed lots for 15, 20, 30 dollars each and amassed a comprehensive collection for the cost of 1 (one) big flagship set. I even made money doing it. Nowadays I run my collection net neutral so I essentially pay myself for time and might be 100-200 dollars up at any given time to buy a new set with no remorse. PAB is not only a ripoff for any sort of bulk but it's also hyper-specific and slow as fucking balls. In the last few months the system has essentially frozen solid, so you can't trust that you'll actually receive any pieces that become discontinued during the numerous months they're chewing on your order.
>>11291216Only good thing about ordering from PAB is not having to pay shipping and maybe some vip points.
I'm building a Castle for my Black Falcons. They're more hardcore, so they're gonna live in a snowy area
>>11291567Nice, I've been building my Black Falcons castle for over 2 years on and off. Just waiting for a Bricklink order to get more gray for the walls.
Beginning work on a space command base. Never had any lego space sets as a kid but Im heavy into from 2024 space right now. Went out and got the white baseplate today since I felt like it was the most lunar-ish starting point. The platform is decently stable. My plan right now is to create a half wall and then create the rest of any walling with technic panels that can open and close so that it can be implied to be airtight while still being accessed+I don't think I can reach the height of a second floor convincingly while staying something resembling a color scheme. Using mixed greys and blacks with white accents right now is the plan.
