Why has there been zero mention here about Panosh Place being resurrected and releasing new Voltron toys? Their first release was a 14" Robeast, finally giving Voltron somebody to fight, and they've shown prototypes for new 3.75" figures as well.
>>11277013Does that look like a toy from the reboot faggot? A shitty reboot one can easily ignore existing doesn't invalidate all care from the original properly. If so, Ghostbusters would have ceased to exist in 2016. There's been a hundred OG Voltron toys over the years, but never a large scaled Robeast, so I think that's long overdue and pretty damn cool.
>>11277010>5poabarf. but I never got the playmates robeast for some reason. would've been nice i think
>>11277035I was surprised to see a Robeast toy, since they never really did that. Even Power Rangers never released a monster on the scale of the Zords.
>>11277010this is great news! do they have any future releases in the works? im surprised this is the first im hearing about all this. if they ever get around to making their own lion force combiner I hope they decide to give Stealth Voltron and Voltrexx a new attempt.
>>11277010Wonder how many voltron toys we will get with the movie coming out
>>11278159If I see a Voltron display at store like this I will die happy
>>11278169Show me a picture then
>>11278081It's actually 9POA. The forearms and shins rotate. Pic related is a black variant they did. Only 75 made.
>>11278145They showed Nanny, Coran, and Princess Allura in her civvies late October at VoltCon.
>>11277010Wake me up when they do Lo-tron or Dracotron
>>11278238>It's actually 9POA.same thing, same barf.>>11278369$60 for a 5poa toy? sexagintuple barf
>>11278111yeah it kind of made it hard to get excited for the main robots. They were cool as hell but they never had a badguy to fight unless you could find some dinosaur in scale. Which wasn't too hard honestly but still.
>>11278503>same thingJust because your wife tells you 5 is the same as 9 doesn't make it true.>$60 for a 5poa toy?Other companies charge two or three times that for smaller vinyl figures. $60 for a low-run 14" vinyl is a steal. Or was... They're selling for over $200 now.
I'm kind of pissed none of the websites I frequent covered this. $60 was a very reasonable price for something like this. Now they're selling for hundreds.
Why would you make it to scale with the shittiest Voltron toy though?
>>11279157Because the entire point of this new Panosh Place is continuing the old Panosh Place line which a lot of old-school Voltron fans have a fondness for. I think it works well enough with other Voltrons in the size range, though I wonder how easy it would be to scale it down and offer say a 10" version, 8" version, 4" version, etc. I think there'd be a market for a version more in scale with the Matchbox, Soul of Chogoken, etc, or a small version in scale with the pilot figures. An 8" version would be great for Mattycollector's Blazing Sword Voltron (my personal favorite non-transforming Voltron), Toynami's vinyls, Super7 Ultimates, and other smaller scale Voltrons. I hope they can see the potential in whoring out this sculpt, and any other Robeasts they do, in other scales.
>>11278551still an overpriced 5poa toy
>>11278551>Other companies charge two or three times that for smaller vinyl figures. They look better too, unlike this brown turd.
>>11280470Not 5POA and not overpriced. Go look at what Mondo is charging for 8" vinyl figures.
>>11280883still overpriced for a 5poa toy
>>11280883>Go look at what MondoWho gives a fuck about what hipster crap Mondo makes
>>11280981>5poaNot 5POA>>11281003It's knowing the market retard. Mondo is a bigger company than this new Panosh Place which is essentially two Voltron superfans.
>>11281026>It's knowing the market>>11279149>m kind of pissed none of the websites I frequent covered this>>11280024>I think there'd be a market There clearly isn't a market for this ugly shit, retard
>>11281038The fact that they sold all the units they made in spite of zero advertising, and those units are now selling for over $200 on the aftermarket, says there is very much a market. Sorry about you being so poor you think $60 is a lot of money for a 14" figure.
>>11281051>The fact that they sold all the unitsHow many? How long did it take to sell out?
>it sold outhttps://panoshplace.com.au/product/voltron-dieklops-robeast-14-le-500/Why is it still in stock?
>>11281062That's not the Panosh Place who made the toy, it's an Australian toy store using the same name. They likely bought a bunch to sell, if it's even a legit site at all. I'm getting high scam vibes from it. The guys running the new Panosh Place are Americans, and the Facebook page they run says it sold out on November 13th, nine days after they started shipping it. It was sold exclusively on the official Voltron store.
>>11281086Sounds like bullshit, no one gives a fuck about this crap. Not even Robo Don't Know talked about it.
>>11281100So the official Voltron store pulled their stock after 9 days and sent it all to Australia?
>>11281103Damn straight. >Official Voltron Mattel? You do know Mattel owns the franchise right?
>>11281113No, Voltron has been owned by World Events Productions since it's inception. You're just talking out of your ass.
>>11281125>Voltron has been owned by World Events ProductionsAnd clearly that Australian Website is official showing no one actually buys this over scaled 5poa crap, retard. >But the official Facebook did it it did the thing!Fake news
>>11281128>clearly that Australian Website is officialYes, clearly an American toy company's official website is based in Australia and sells merch from other companies which have zero relation to them.
