Wondering about some effect parts I could for the bug boy
also, I asked the 2 sellers in Aliexpress about the release date of the new Blokees figures, they both said they expect them to get them by the end of next January
>>11278029Tamashii effects. Maybe the blue swirling one that could be used as water, or a green one for some other bug related effect?
When are Megazard X and DNAmon coming out?
>>11277980Two of my favorite niggas in the OP>>11278029First post also has two based niggas. Get some missile effects for pin missile.Anything else is overkill
>>11278424Already out, but distribution sucks as always.Still waiting for Zeraora.
>>11278625I don't believe zard x and Deoxys are actually out yet. I suspect that Chinese reviewer is not getting them legitimately, he has Trainer Team sticker US versions and those are clearly not at Target yet.
>>11278625>>11278722Not out yet. The chinese youtuber just gets stuff from a factory connection I bet. Charizard X is supposed to be out at Smyths in the UK next week. That's the only firm release date we have for any of that wave. US is probably like 2-3 months behind that since we are just getting Golisopod and Zeraora in early Jan
>>11278516>liking gen 9
>>11279225>getting your opinions from /vp/Very sad, let me guess the DS games are your "favorites"
>>11279225>>11279305Gen 9 is really good. 7 and 8 are the worst. 6 is worth skipping. It's definitely a come back and from what I've seen it seems like the least shilled gen in a while too.
>>11279305>>11279442Gen 9 has the ugliest designs in the series.
>>11279470Nah, Gen 9 is full of kino. Gen 8 is definitely the worst. Nobody will remember krillin squid.
>>11279442You must be like 15 years old if you seriously think Gen 9 is one of the best in the last 10 years.> least shilled gen in a while too.Gee, I wonder why? Maybe because the designs and games are some of the most hated and disliked universally in the franchise in ages?
I like the Tomy Monster Collection line.
>Literally everything but the biggest claws & mouth are posableThe articulated claw tips+rotating midsection swivel was a mind blowing realization, seriously they did NOT have to make this thing as good as they did jfc. A few of the joints felt like they were gonna snap off but keeping it steady helped slowly get them comfortable enough to finally bend.Overall a good Holiday haul
Ah yes, a fine addition to the 'Pod family
>>11280183'Pod Squad
>>11280067Nice Poli's
>>11280183wat is that figure on the left? the one with the water effect
>>11280352Unofficial statue but really fucking cool, my photo doesn't do it enough justice since there's a seasalt-like sheen on shell/claws. Plus its accompanying tiny Wimpod is rubbery so it won't break like the right one easily did.The water effect comes off but it usually "rests" on that so there's no chance of it falling over due to balancing issues. Worth every penny
>>11280383>statueNot the right term here. Also NTA. I want the shiny set. I wish there were more shiny figures.
>>11279470t. bortNothing will ever have uglier designs than Unova>>11279642>Maybe because the designs and games are some of the most hated and disliked universally in the franchise in ages? Also describing gen 5 I see
Got these in the mail yesterday. My favorite pokemon and someone did a nice job painting them the shiny colors so I had to have them. Wish someone would paint the light up palafin or that other palafin figure that acts as a little stand. Also almost bought another set of those bike mode koraidon and miraidon figures because someone painted them really nicely to be the shiny colors but right as I was gonna do it someone else bought them... what I get for waiting a day or two. Didnt think someone else would grab them cuz they were $50 lol.I need to keep an eye out for shiny customs more often.
>>11280182omg the mudsdale and mudbray, so cuuute.
anyone got a size comparison between plamo and select rayquaza?
>>11281092Unfortunately I got both boxed right now, but just know the plamo is tiny, same with Groudon.
I found the Plusle and Minun valentines two pack with Pikachu at target today. One wasnt even in the system and other was $15. That seems a bit overpriced, is that really what two packs are going for??
>>11281216unfortunately, depends on the store
>>11280687CUTE! Palafin's my favorite mon as well.
>>11280687>>11281306He has a nice shiny
>>11280383>Super expensive and out of stock everywhere Typical
Was checking the wiki and saw the battle feature wave after Quaquavel had Meowscarada and 3 repacks. Was mainly there to check for any new envionrment sets. Any recent leaks on those?
>>11281337I wish Palafin was designed that his fins were landworthy, like what Gallade has. Now the toy will be like it needs a stand always
>>11281287That's not true at all. No retail store has two packs for $15. The Valentine packs in the Target system is an error clearly. The shelf price tag says $7.99 like all two packs. >>11281382Where was that Meowscarada wave leaked? Is the wiki to be trusted?
>>11281216>>11281414Actually even less. They're 6.99 as you can see on the tag on the left. The valentines stuff just got put out so I'm sure they will correct the prices in the system soon
>>11281431I have to buy the Valentine's chus again just to get a figure I don't have yet. I hate how Jazwares is just Jakks 2 again
>>11281441Every single two pack is like that. Almost every toy line where the figures are sold in multiples does that.
>>11280183>Guzma posts on /toy/Who'd have guessed?
>>11281414>That's not true at allIt is though. Some stores here even easily start selling singles for 18.
>>11281650No they haven't
>>11281650Bullshit. Stores like comic shops, mom & pop toy stores, etc don't count. Those stores never play by retail pricing and price things whatever they want. So tell us which major retailers are selling these jazwares pokemon figures for up to 3x MSRP?
>>11281414The wiki is reliable and they don't post leak images, only the clean official images for the figures. I'm guessing there's a blurry pic of the back of a box that shows the 4 figures in the wave out there somewhere. Then they added the entry.
>>11281431Damn, I bought them for the $15 price, think I can go back and ask for a partial refund?
>>11281791Ok cool. I guess we're getting a 4" Meowscarada then. That makes sense because the wiki has Skeledirge and the wave with Crocalor plus the sushi fish up there without pics even though I've seen pics of those figures floating around for a while. >>11281834Yeah they should price adjust. Just take a pic of the tag on the shelf or bring another pack to the front so they can scan it and get the $7 price from that.
>>11280610Paldea's 'mons look like baby toys.
>>11281947We're already getting Plamo. There's no point in the battle feature
Has there been any updates on tje blockees? Pretty excited for them to happen, Ceruledge, meowscarada, and Greninja look fantastic especially.
>>11282504Obviously, but jazzwares toys are for an entirely different audience and they were always going to do Meowscarada>>11282510Last update said they should come out this month some time but we also learned they are sized badly and won't scale with anything really. First stage pokemon are too large and the evolved ones are too small.
>>11282510Gundamit has them for example, but;>>11273698
>>11280182What line are the horses from? Chink scale world?>>11280183Same question for the Wimpods.
>>11282510I ordered a Charmander. I'll mention when it ships or when I get it. I saw some listings say the Classic L will be released in Feb, but that could just be them being cautious.
>>11281650the regular retail price of the 2"/3" two packs is $6.99. Some stores may charge a dollar or two more depending on where you are in the country, but not double.Generally speaking:> 2" 2 packs - $6.99/$7.99> Battle Figure Packs (I think these are like 4"?) - $12.99> 2/3" 3 Packs - $14.99> 6" Selects - $19.99 (they're actually $21.99 but I don't think Target has ever actually kept them at that price long enough to count)>>11281791>>11281414Here's the Meowscarada leak. Its 4" or whatever the size is and looks retarded unfortunately.
>>11282844The model kit version of Meowscarda, I pray, will look and be better than THIS.
>>11282844That pose made me laugh. The legs look so awkward.
>>11282844WTF kind of pose is that??? Do they intentionally try to make all these action feature figures look as bad as they possible can?
>>11282957>>11283014They were obviously going for a bow, and the figure looks fine if not for the legs posing. Is this a mini fig? Or something poseable? If the latter, then I see no issue. If it was a non-poseable mini fig then I can understand the dislike.
>>11283057I don't even see a bow. The knees look like they're pointing in opposite directions. This is a 4.5" action feature figure and non-poseable so what you see if what we're stuck with. A bowing pose doesn't really make sense for an action feature either
>>11283057It's not THAT bad. Basically.
Did they release any Pikachu merch yet?
Here's December's checklist. Not too much came out last month except for these:-Clip N Go Belt set Wave 17 (Squirtle and Charmander sets)-4.5" Battle Feature Wave 20 with Quaquaval at US Targets now. Some are reporting Quaquaval won't ring up so you may need an associate to manually enter it. -2" First Partner Battle Pack Wave 8 (three new eyes closed starter sculpts) showing up at US Walmarts -2" Holiday Battle Figure Pack Wave 10 (Valentine's Day) including Plusle and Minun showing up at Targets now. Some of these also don't scan or show the wrong price so you may need an associate to manually enter it in. -2" & 3" Battle Figure 3-Pack Wave 23 showing up at US Walmarts now
>>11281791Thanks! Yes, only official promo pics get added or else the entire thing will just look messy and need more frequent editing. Loose figures spotted in leaks or Chinese auction pics only get added once packaged images surface.
>>11283178Of course not.
Asked again and one of the sellers of the upcoming blokees figures said the release may come next March but it is stil posible they hit the market earlierEnded up ordering 1 Ceruledge and 2 Greninjas because I want to make a custom of the battle bond form with it.I'm currently building one of the Champion class blokees figures of Saint Seiya and it is pretty good, if they keep up a similar quality level any pokemon plamo they release will be awesome
>>11283273>Missed out on like all the 6 inch figuresIt's so entirely over right?
>>11283459For your wallet, yeah. Everything after the 3rd wave when they became target exclusive is so much harder to find secondhand even just a few months after release. You really gotta get them within the first 3-4months after they release or else pay up to 4x retail cost.
What a pleasant surprise! I wasn't expecting these for another 3-4 months.Very small & super delicate holy damn.
>>11282726Wimpods+horses are unofficial Chinese resin figures from various studios through PokeGalerie. They are part of a spiritual successor in picking up where Japan's "Zukan" line of gatcha figurines left off back in gen6.They usually have 2 different sizes (1:20 & 1:40 scale to the mon's irl size) the latter of which is almost never reprinted so I was very fortunate to come across the Mudsdale line in 1:40.It's no Moncolle but the final evos scale pretty well with them.
>>11283474cool talonflame
>>11283474It's nice to see something other than Flopwares, thank you
>>11283955Yes. Love Moncolle. Love having my Pikachus and Bulbasaurs be the same height as Decidueyes and Charizards. Love that.
>>11283959Yes. I love Jazwares. Love having :-Recurring defects in the plastic, paint and glue marks on my toys.-Scales not respected, with a Solgaleo the same size as Metagross. Or Quaquaval and Arcanine much smaller than Zeraora and Skeledirge. -Horrible distribution, making it difficult to obtain products and artificially driving up their price.-Joints that don't do their job properly-Ugly gadgets that make toys look retarded.
>>11284089Not saying Jazwares is great. Most releases a not. But isn't only a few things being good better than the entire line looking like shit when put together? Again, fucking Pkachu and Decidueye the same height. Nothing about that will ever look good if you care at all about scale, accuracy, or the source material. >Scales not respectedHow the hell are you arguing Moncolle is better when this is one of your main arguments? lol
>>11284102Technically, if you only collect Hyper Sized legendaries, and fully evolved Pokémon, it doesn't look stupid together, it's actually pretty good. Between the legendary mascots of the games, and the random Pokémon of small size of basic stage, I prefer the legendary ones. But apart from that, I wasn't talking specifically about Moncolle. In fact, it's nice to see something other than Flopwares, whatever the line.
>>11284120I hate any line where scale is such an afterthought. Which is why I hate Moncolle. If you're stuck only grabbing a super small fraction of the figures because they don't look absolutely stupid next to eachother, that's a failure of a line in my opinion. I also hate most the Jazwares stuff too and similarly, only a tiny fraction of those are actually good so I'd call that line mostly a fail too.
>>11284125The only line that really cares about scales is Scale World.Jazwares and Moncolle require you to sort and choose what suits you, which means you have to make do with a more or less wide selection of products
>>11284181>The only line that really cares about scales is Scale World.too bad it supports a dead scale instead
I mean I grew up on Moncolle so the fact that an individual mon's scaling doesn't line up fails to bother me at all. For me it's usually the size of the mon's line relatively to other line's stages (first to first, last to last, etc) so unless there's a massive difference like picrel I'll gladly forfeit proper scaling for accuracy of said mon itself.
>>11284645I wish we'd get rereleases of the Moncolle Ultrabeasts. I want Buzzwole for my bug collection.
>>11284668Im so mad they didnt do all of them... the UB's were the moncolle I was most excited for during gen 7. And it pains me they probably wont do all of the paradox mons. (Please prove me wrong Takara). At the very least they've done more paradox mons than the UBs got
>NOOOO IT'S SLIGHTLY OFF ITS STATED POKEDEX SIZE ITS NOT CANON!!!!!!! FAILWORLD JAZFLOPS FLOPCOLLE!!!!!!!!>me with a dozen different brands of Pikachu all in different scales and a Kabuto water toy from McDonalds clinging onto the head of a hasbro Swampert that's smaller than it
I wish they had a larger Darmanitan plush but this will have to doStill love it though.
>>112844751/12 scale for Pokémon is not a good idea, which is why they don't do it. Let's face it, all the big Pokémon will never have a figure in this scale. This means missing out on a huge number of must-have Pokémon, such as more than 20 boxart legendaries, or Pokémon over 3m long like Gyarados, Steelix and so on. If the big Pokémon were all niche Pokémon that appealed to few people like Dhelmise, this wouldn't be a problem, but that's not the case. The 1/20 scale is not a dead scale. Not all toys are 1/12. Especially as Scale World is a line that stands on its own. Do you want trainers? You'll find plenty. You want Pokémon? You'll find all sorts, from cute little Pokémon to big legendary ones like Ho-Oh, Groudon or Arceus. 1/20 is just the right balance for this licence: it's not too big, so you can store a lot of Pokémon, and it's not too small.
>>112851921/20 aka Scale World are statues. Not toys. Automatically not for most people. Even with just a couple points of basic articulation they'd be better, but nope. The sweet spot for Pokemon toy scale would be 1/18 IMO. 3.75" trainers could be articulated well enough and the super small Pokemon like starters wouldn't be insanely tiny, and large guys like Onix and legendaries wouldn't be insanely large.
>>11284676I think we'll have the majority of Past Paradoxes, but we're likely to have a number of Future Paradoxes that will have nothing. It's a shame, they're the ones I liked best, even if they're not the most popular. The only thing I'm sure of is that if we exclude Bandai Kids. It will probably be the only one brand that has produced the most different Pokemon Paradoxes in figure that you'll ever see anywhere else.
>>11285200The difference between 1/20 and 1/18 is relatively minor, it's a matter of detail.Lack of articulation is not a bad thing.Honestly, if the joints on a figure are unnecessary or poorly made, it's best not to ruin the aesthetic of a product for that. So either good joints or nothing. Then not having articulation does not mean that you are not a toy. These are always figures intended for children. We are far from the pure statue, which should not be handled and which serves no other purpose than being a decorative ornament.
a friend of mine told me a while back that she loves pokemon but she never watched the show or played the games or anything but she loves squirtle and charmander, so i got her the tiny minifigs and now they sit by her bed. she loves the things. hoping to watch pokemon with her at some point.
>>11285004NOOOOO THEY'RE OUT OF SCALE GROUDON IS SUPPOSED TO BE THE BIGGEST NOT THE SMALLEST AIYEEEE
>>11285221Congrats anon I hope you smash.
>>11285223yeah, i think its possible, though im angling toward a relationship then just FWB(either is fine) we are good friends and talk everyday and she has been more flirty since christmas and is genuinly curious. it kinda sucks because i fell for her hard and i know she hasnt which is fine, we havent met in person yet and plus she has had a rough year, but i think i have a shot at something, either way, its been a nice kick in the ass in bettering myself. im hoping to get her a jigglypuff and psyduck at some point and i want to get her plush squirtle at some point. im thinking of getting some myself to go with my figmas. maybe next time i get paid. i still have a couple pokemone plushes in my room..
>>11285222Why do you think he's so mad?
complaining about scale in pokemon toys is ridiculous, how big you think shit like groudon would have to be if you wanted it to be "accurate"?
>>11285384>THEY MADE ME A FUCKING MANLET>IF KYOGRE SEES THIS SHIT I'LL NEVER HEAR THE END OF IT
>>11285387yeah. like to me as long as they are sorta the correct size compared to like a figma or something. then im happy enough with them
>>11285530So you agree that almost all Moncolles are bad. Thank you
>>11280610>Nothing will ever have uglier designs than UnovaKys you no taste having faggot
>>11285192if 1/12 isnt good, then you're saying 1/20 is worse. If big pokemon can't be 1/12, then that means 1/20 can't work neither since they'll be too small. Thank you for explaining why 1/20 is a dead scale
>>11285590
way to derail the thread again scale tards
>>11286055So are we only allowed to post here if we worship slopwares?
Oh, we want more scale convos? A user on discord/reddit posted the Classic S Pikachu alongside a Blokees Orion. Orion is around 4", so make of that what you will.
>>11286768Blokees official heights have already been released and talked about here for each size (small and large figs) so I'm not sure what this is showing or proving
>>11286774If Orion is 11cm, does Pikachu there look like he's 7-9cm tall? He's on top of a base and the top of his head isn't even at Orion's hip.
>>11286867To many variables to account for an exact measurement, but yeah if the TF is EXACTLY 11cm (need to see it against a ruler), I could see the top of Pikachu's ear reaching about 7-8cm. Remember, we don't know how accurate the official Blokees heights are, and the promo material for the larger ones showed them standing on the base when the measurement graphic was next to them so they may be including the base as well.
They need to make a good Scizor
>>11286768If the S sizes are taller than moncolles, then it'll work for the ones beside Pika and Eevee
>>11286902
>>11286768> NOOOOOO DEAD SCALE MUUUUUH !1/12 fans are ridiculous
>>11277980can you help a boomer who's getting back into this after what seems like 30 yearsdo the moncolle figures scale well with the bandai scale world figures? are they of completely different quality? the starter pokemons seem to be priced the same but then bandai's venasaur will be like 10 times the prices of the moncolle one. it's very confusing.i've managed to get most of the pokemons he wants with moncolle. but struggled to find jigglypuff and salmontail for example, so also wondering if maybe there are catalogs for releases?
>>11287144Venusaur Scale World (bandai) measures around 10cm and is quite large. The one from Moncolle, depending on whether it's a MS (3cm) or a SP (5cm), isn't the same. The small Pokémon from Moncolle, such as Pikachu, are a little bigger than the small ones from Scale World. But anything bigger, such as fully evolved Pokémon or legendaries, is much bigger than Moncolle.Overall, the quality of Moncolle and Scale World is good. It's easy to buy a product blind in opaque packaging without fear of a manufacturing defect.
>>11287149appreciate that.i searched review videos of both but never saw anybody do size/quality comparisons yet.last question before i leave for another 30 years, i really struggled to find any figures of team rocket, other than a 2 pack from many years ago. do they not make them for these 2 specific lines? thanks!
>>11287144>>11287154Moncolle and Scale World do not scale well with eachother at all. Hell, Moncolle doesn't even scale with itself at all. >Team RocketNothing official in either series. Plenty of unnofical (and more expensive) Scale World Team Rockets though. The only good Team Rocket figures ever made are the SH Figuarts ones but those are about 5.5-6" tall and another completely different scale.
>>11280067I wish these were easier to find in decent condition. I'd love some of the smaller Pokemon thar scale to the Figma trainers.
>>11287225>Plenty of unnofical (and more expensive)i nearly pulled the trigger on them...do you mean bootlegs? i'm eyeing the megahouse and tomy 2 packs and now that you mentioned that it does say on mfc that there are counterfeits. any obvious signs to look out for to avoid them?
>>11287352I was talking about Scale World sized ones. Those Megahouse statues should be real, but those won't scale with anything previously mentioned here so if you're just not caring about how everything looks together, go for it
Just started doing diorama pieces and it makes everything just better
>>11288096That looks awesome. Is that Nami's chest?

>>11286768Just got Charmander, and he's just under 6cm, so around 2.3" tall. I'll try to get a pic with a Jazwares Charmander in a bit.
>>11290254Moments like these make me think I should just buy the ball packs
I'm wondering if anyone has some information about these? specifically the data cards that come with them? I had the Cyber Pokeball as a kid but I never got a hold of any of the other data cards for it and as far as I can tell there is almost no information about them on the internet other than they came with these Treeko, Torchic, Mudkip and Pikachu toys.I just got a hold of the Cyber Ultraball, and seeing as the data cards are just solid plastic with little nubs that press buttons inside the pokeball/ultraball's slot, I should be able to 3D print them. I just want pictures of each one and information on what each one does
>>11290314All I know is that the default card with the ultraball makes your life energy last longer and I assume the Pokeball one is the same seeing as it has the same 3 nubs
>>11290314>>11290317Actually there seems to be a few more of the action figures with data cards but no photos of the important side of the cards or any information about what effects they have in the game
>>11290346>that swampert facewat the fuck
>>11290347Dude's just showing off his massive shit
>>112902802 packs are still cheaper, and not nearly all the 2" figures get put in a clip ball pack. We've seen the lineups for the entire 2025 clip ball waves and Plusle + Minun are not in them
>>11290346>no photos of the important side of the cardssorry about that. I also don't remember the nubs since I only cared about the figures themselves
>>11290254Cute
>>11290456That's ok, I found a video that shows some of them which confirms that it's just different combinations of the 3 nubs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZKIba1jVskWhat I really wanted was information on what the cards do but it seems even the figures themselves only say it "powers up your pokemon" so I'll have to figure it out myself somehow. If I remember correctly the game gives no feedback on what the card is actually doing
>>11283474>>11283471shame those don't articulate
