A few of younhave Mikey in hand, but there's plenty of reviews online as well. 5Ktoys should have their stock soon.
The Crimson/Violet sculpt...presumably anyway.

Veebs has a new interview with Trevor:https://youtu.be/DNEr2RETOPM?si=RNCwHz9d4odra19xTidbits from the video:>Panda Khan on the water now. Top of head is removable to allow for swapping the top knot with either face expression as well as the hat.>Ninja Splinter is in a 2-pack with an unannounced figure, comes with unmasked Splinter head>Giant Krang still coming, delayed, still at the factory for pricing and tooling>Sounds like stuff showing up in Saturday Morning Adventures comics gives them even more of a reason to make a figure of a character>Creepy Eddie's suspenders are removable since they weren't on the character in some scenes. Bowler hat is ball jointed on his head.>Tattoo turned out to be an expensive figure to produce, some accessories got cut and may come back later.>Dark Leo comes with a new portal card for Donnie's portal and "mind control" Foot Soldier hood.>Still a lot more toon stuff planned, some stuff to be shown at Toy Fair>Nickelodeon was a little confused why Mirage Handyman Donatello needed to come with a typewriter>It can be hard to accessorize some of the characters, so those become perfect chances to include smaller characters like mousers or utroms etc.>Archie Ace Duck got fast tracked into production after Nick approved it>They used an import Harley Quinn leg/suit and butt setup as reference to do Ace Duck's thong and butt>Bellybomb originally had swap mouth parts for open or closed before they figured out how to make the opening jaw work>Comic Cover blue Bellybomb should be a Wal-Mart exclusive
>>11279566>They have TEN 2012 TMNT figures at the factory currently>2012 Leo has a closed eyes meditation head>The new toon, Mirage, Last Ronin, etc figures will likely start showing up first of the year>They couldn't get a hold of Mr. Obata, no matter how much they would reach out. A friend of Obata's son who collects NECA figures DM'd Trevor and he's the one that helped get them all in touch with the family.>They had a deal with Mr. Obata and the family within a week of the first meeting. The figure took about a year or two to get the sculpting worked on, coming up with the custom fabric for the robes.>Mr. Obata was extraordinarily friendly and would tell Trevor lots of stories. He was apparently offered the role as Shredder originally, but he didn't want to cover his face, so they made a new role for him. The sword is a sword Obata owns and was made when his son was born.>Mr. Obata wasn't sure why people were asking him for autographs and the like more often, didn't know TMNT had had a resurgence.>While frustrating at first, the figure leaking became more humorous as it went on; with people trying to debunk it or claim it wasn't real. Trevor tried to keep that going by playing dumb even at the con until putting the figure out that Friday.
>>11279571Shredder-Krang does have a listing on Walmart.com, nothing in stock yet.
Mezco Casey Jones received a waitlist email converted to preorder today
>>11279554Is there a preorder for this?
>>11279828Huh, that’s interesting I figured it was long sold out. That figure is great, probably the best Casey ever made, so happy to hear that.
>>11279566ninja splinter?Nick is actually auditing the accessories?>>11279571oh wow so it's true about his son. also holy shit he was gonna be Shredder..
>>11280115He's from "Sword of Yurikawa"And yes, Nick has to approve all the accessories they do. That's been brought up before, but it's still amusing to hear how they get befuddled by what goes on in the comics or the cartoon.
>>11279988Very stoked on this, I think I was 15min late to the onsale when I joined the waitlist. I don't use social media so its hard for me to keep up with the store exclusive drops. This is the first time I have used the Mezco waitlist but I am super happy to see this 6 months later
>>11279548Where did you steal OP pic from?
>>11280138ohhhhhhh yeah i remember that now. man his snout is really hiddenwhy does Nick think themselves qualified
>>11280179>why does Nick think themselves qualifiedBecause they own the IP, whether they are qualified to do so is irrelevant.
>>11280232I want some furry boots like that.
I wonder when we'll get info on ultimate toon shredder
>>11280241What did you want to know? They've finished making it, it's supposed to show up "early next year."
>>11280231kek but why do they careif i buy a turnkey business i'm not gonna check in on what kinda fucking sprayer nozzles they're using at the car wash. Just send me the money that i'm owed because without me it wouldn't exist.
>>11280237tabi-style too?
>>11280252Oh awesome, where was this info revealed??
>>11280328The new Trevor interview linked here: >>11279566They go through all the new stuff and talk about it.
>>11280252>I'll just warn you now, I don't know how to use a computer
>>11280252Something about it looks kinda off…
>>11280388Shredder didn't look consistent between episodes, so I'm sure it matches a frame from some episode filled with animation errors that was drawn by a Korean intern as the showed was being rushed into syndication.
>>11280388This frame is close.
>>11280252i think i see the issue>>11280422here his shikoro is quite long, going well below his menpou>>11280423here it's shorter, very much above the menpouthe figure sort of hybridizes the two by moving the menpou and indeed the entire face.. upward. so there's way less space around his eyes. if his eyebrows weren't angry, you wouldn't be able to see them.in b4 people yell and make fake arguments about this for years
>>11280451The shiroko (and really, the whole helmet) also seems to be too broad on the figure compared to the two images I posted. But if I felt like going through the entire series, I'm sure I could find an episode where he looked like that. It's just that most people have a very specific vision of Shredder in their head, and it's usually from the first season. But this shot from the opening doesn't even perfectly match the above shot from Enter, The Shredder. Once again the shiroko is a different length, the menpou is longer, and the helmet crest has different curves. I'm pretty sure I could get a dozen screenshots of Shredder from the first season alone, and not one of them would be consistent.
>>11280474that's what I thought too, but if you look closely, it's not too broad. it's compressed vertically, so it's too broad -proportionately-also yeah good point, we can't get THAT nitpicky when it comes from a cartoon like this. I just wish they were better with the scale.
>>11280451>here his shikoro is quite long, going well below his menpouNow you're just making up words
>>11280493the names of helmet parts are kind of amazing. they took that junk super seriously for a culture so iron-poor that their armor was mostly woven strips of wood.
>>11280576You literally are a horrible person. Gwt a life.
Are we ever going to get separate Eastman and Laird tmnt from the four pack that we got a few years ago, or are they a BBTS exclusive?
>>11280739No they're mass release. Target had Leo up earlier in the month on their site. They haven't really made it out yet.
>>11279548do we have one of those checklist images for the NECA figures?
>>11279550Just got my 2nd payment request from 5K!

>>11281031dark leonardo?
>>11279571>>11279584This looks really good, I'd really like to find this
>>11281027how likely is NECA rereleasing the original turtles
>>11281108Cover art variant.
>>11281146ahhh dig it
>>11281108He was blue on one cover of the Archie comics, it's supposedly a walmart exclusive.>>11281111From an upcoming issue of TMNT Saturday Morning Adventures. IDW came to Neca and they collaborated on a design. >>11281145Like, the first first? Probably zero. They no longer have the molds (so it would seem). But they could 3d scan them and remake the figures if they wanted I think? Works for Hasbro.
>>11281150>idw is trying to do cartoon stufffuck no
>>11281159>tryingThey've been doing it. It's on issue 20, and has been really good.
>>11281164that's even worse
Is anyone else still waiting on their first turtles?
>original sketch turtles only 8 bucks at target>got Don and RaphThey don't seem so bad...
>>11281371Surprisingly these are abundant at all the targets I went to today. Crazy how the Walmart acne scarred ones all dried up within a month.
I plan to buy four vintage Raphs to equip with the other Turtles gear and recreate the "Four Raphaels" Mirage Turtles. Man, I forgot how many times Playmates re-released those original Turtles over the course of the original toyline, let alone the retro reissues of gradually declining quality with every usage. They really did want to have the basic Turtles available for kids who didn't want Mexican Mikey or Chef Donatello.>>11281415Target actually sells the exclusives they get, so they naturally have stock of them to sell, unlike Walmart who order one case for seven physical stores in a random US state or keep everything on indefinite preorder status until they just decide to cancel the order on their customers.
>>11281477fuckin walmartbut you know they did come through on tatsu....
>>11281029>Still no new Universal Monsters turtlesbros... I can't hold on much longer...
>>11282373yeah you would expect them to milk that more. they have lots of potential.plus in theory they could do henson-movie-style versions of TMNT characters.. mixed with universal monsters, right?I just wanna see creature shop designs for bebop and rocksteady. I'm not even huge B+Rfags like the ones who wanted them in the movie, I just love puppets and I feel like a rhino and to a lesser extent a boar would look really cool sculpted in a figure that looks like an animatronic sculpted in latex.
>>11282649Well they got 10 months until the next Halloween, here's hoping we get a Shredder variant by then.
>>11282373They have more ready, they said at SDCC. They were holding off putting more out. The black and white figures were just to ferry the line to this year. So I would expect some kind of announcement at Toy Fair at earliest.
>>11282906oh yeah i guess that makes sense
>>11279571>>11279584Can some kind anon pls @ me if they see these finally go up for sale? I don't wanna miss it!
>>11284761ooooh blu-ray.normally i'd give zero fucks but a movie like this kinda demands higher quality so you can see everything clearly. especially in the dark scenes. also requires a good-ass TV with real dark blacks.
>>11285112It's not real, it's a fan thing.
>>11285169fans with access to the film on film?
>>11285176No, the "cover"...it's not a real Criterion release, it's just a fan edit making it look like one. A what if/should exist.
>>11285182ohhhthat's kinda dumb, who even owns blu-rays to know what the cover looks like?
Saw the Playmates 2012 reissues at Target today, the bros, metalhead and shredder in a case.
>>11285212>who even owns blu-rayspeople who aren't poor?
>>11285553Physical media is still more of a hassle to put on than pirated media or streaming. A lot of people just never bother with it anymore.
>>11285557i dont know anybody with a blu-ray playerhonestly you know what ruined physical media for me? a VCR you can pop a tape in and instantly record what's on tv, no extra steps except making sure you have the tv running through it properly.when DVDs happened, I bought a few DVDs but there was never a machine that could record from TV onto DVDs, nor did anyone really have blank video DVDs. just the computer kind. which I guess is the same? but.. like I said when my dad bought me a tape player that didn't have a mic, if I can't record onto it, it's kinda useless and you should exchange it.I should have phrased it differently, he was very hurt.
>>11285560Recording onto tape is a much simpler process than recording onto a DVD. DVDs stored the video as data which isn't something that works on the fly, not with the amount of memory and processing power available to an off the shelf DVD player. The real death of DVD and Bluray was the enshittification of the players and discs themselves. Fucking bluray players now need to be connected to the internet to download day 1 software updates to run like game consoles, and they still insert unskippable ads and previews in everything. I still buy blurays on occasion but I never actually USE them because it's still easier to just pirate the movie and watch it off my media PC than to load up my dusty old PS4, wait for mandatory updates to run, find and charge the controller (fuck wireless controllers), and then finally put the disc in and try and mash buttons to skip past all the bullshit.
>>11285570ohi assumed it was just an anti-piracy measure and normies didn't care.>bluray players are like shitty modern gameswow.. havent people figured out how to hack that to stop it? wait, the PLAYER inserts ads? why isn't anyone talking about this?
>>11285574Yeah imagine dropping $200 on a player only to have mandatory internet access so it can fucking full the menus with banner ads. They did it slowly overtime so people just... got used to it.
>>11285553>Look at me. I give money to Hollywood pedophiles. That means I'm not poor. You don't get rich giving money to people richer than you when you don't have to.
>>11285578morons.>>11285657you can just say 'men'
>>11285683Don't be sexist. Women can do anything that a man can, so they can definitely be Hollywood pedophiles too.
>>11285711men rob cradles, women rob graves
>>11285714Women steal our life force. Our essence.https://youtu.be/z3wgC9m_VBk
My Mezco Casey Jones waitlist also got charged, I hope he's worth the money. I literally just joined the waitlist for both CJ and the turtles in November and was told i wouldn't get them and both got charged so if anyone wants them you should get them.I hope they announce a Shredder/April/Splinter eventually.
it just occurred to me the reason we've never gotten 80s-perm April in animation is because that's fucking hard to draw over and over.
>>11287388its a great figureoverpriced a bit maybe but what isnt these days
This is the longest we've ever gone in a TMNT thread without it devolving into personal attacks and madness. I wonder if somebody died.
>>11287967i'm pretty sure our trolls are gone and all the discussion is gone with them
Bellybomb was an underwhelming release and I’m tired of pretending it’s not
>>11287991You are very wrong.
>>11287991Underwhelming because he was a US exclusive, perhapsIn 2-3 years I'll let you know if he was cool or meh
>>11288385He's pretty great all around, that other poster has no idea what they're talking about.
>>11288385Yeah, I thought the Archie stuff wasn't going to be exclusive to any retailer, but here we are again. It's fine by me. There are plenty of other companies that want my money and are smart enough to make their shit available internationally.
>>11288424>wasn't going to be exclusive to any retailerIt's not. You're being overly dramatic and stupid.
>>11287991>Bellybomb was an underwhelming releaseJust like the whole Archie line so far. Ninjara was the one and only character most people ever wanted from this but NECA choose retarded wrestling shit instead. Bunch of degenerates just like their local bootlicker >>11288020 >>11288427
>>11288465>Just like the whole Archie line so far.Wow. Just pulling ignorant takes out of your ass today huh?The wrestling figures are what people wanted and were the most memorable thing about the comics. Not your furry OC.
>>11287967>almost on cue the thread goes to shit wow
>>11288487Lol no. Not a single fucker gives shit about le funny wacky cartoon tortoise adventures before Chris Allan's take on comic's art. That's why figure of Slash (which was made more in Allan's style instead of retarded Mitchroney's) still reissued while other mutanimals already forgotten. The wrestling arc and 1st third of whole series are literally unreadible cartoon trash for pre-school kids and drooling retards like you.
>>11288514Good God, you just continue to be wrong. That isn't very good for you.
>>11288533>How about some real discussionHe doesn't want discussion. He wants everyone to have the same opinion as him, which consists of 200% praise for NECA 100% of the time.We can't even vent about the lack of international distribution, or the lack of retailers that do sell outside the US stocking Bellybomb at the moment so that we can actually buy the product he fanatically defends with every ounce of his energy.
>>11288549Gee, maybe if you wait for the Target exclusivity to be over with, you'll find it does go up everywhere as intended. You're whining about the dumbest things, things that have happened before and resolve the same way.
