Now that I have all my Astrobots, I eagerly await the release of Atlas. Looking at the comic covers, there’s a ton of unique body types they could use for future waves. It seems they’re doing lots of other side projects though, so maybe Astrobots isn’t working profitable for them…

I swear I've seen that folded nose design on a Valkyrie or Transformer before. I guess it's just the EX Core, head and radome that's different from the Horus Mk1.

Bullet core does look pretty cool. But it's not really that different from the original Horus. I'd imagine it wouldn't be that difficult to at the very least redesign the shapes of the wings so the vehicle mode is a bit more unique

Hello. Newfag here. Is High Grade the Witch from Mercury compatible with the 30 minutes kits? I was planning in buying this kit and using some of its parts (legs, arms, torso, backpack) on a 30 minutes missions/sisters figure, but i don't know if that is going to be possible.

The 3mm pegs and holes should match, the accessories should all be compatible. The c-clips in 30MM kits are the same as in recent Bandai kits, but that doesn't automatically mean that the pauldrons are compatible or that you can swap knees

I like the general aesthetics of Frame Arms girls, especially Paladin, so I've been looking around for sales and they're fairly affordable.

I've never done one of these before though, so I'm curious of there are any tools or paint required. And I still haven't decided if I want to get a second hand one from Mandarake or something new from AmiAmi or ixudeviance...

Mandarake is always reliable. Most girls will need a smidge of paint here and there, but they're generally solid. Check dalong.net for build images and manuals.
Also this is more the thread for regular modular robots, there's the Busou Shinki & Friends thread that's more specialized for dolls and girls. Nothing stopping you from slapping a bunch of regular robot bits onto the girls however.
