Does anyone own any of these? I’m kinda tempted to pick up the main trio, Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon. They look pretty good for the most part, but they’re kinda pricey so I wanna make sure someone else can vouch for them. Post pics of them too if you do have them.
Bump
>>11293469No. Nobody owns those. Stop asking.
>>11293469I have Zeus but he's sadly in a storage. I can vouch that he is pretty good. Solid joints, solid paints and accessories. The only problem is the proportion, head is a little bit small/anime/cartoony proportion. He is perfect to be displayed around Figma/Figuarts/imports anime figures, but not that great amongst western Marvel Legends or Mythic Legions figure.I skipped on the other two because they look too samey from Zeus
>>11296565Yeah, I was thinking of grabbing Zeus to go with the Neca Kratos figures, but seeing how much taller Kratos was in a review put me off of him.
>>11296571I think height-wise he is fine. NECA Kratos is 7 inch figure obviously it's going to be huge. He's bit taller than regular mythic legions, which is a 6.5 inch scale figure. My only issue is the small head proportion-wise.I had a 3d printed mythic legions dwarf head that I plan to put on mine, just as generic "God" figure. Have not gotten around to paint the head, though
>>11296576Hmm I wonder why they went with the small head route, it does look a little strange
>>11296581He's meant to be a bigger imposing figure when posed with "true 6 inch" scale figure like the import figures (Mafex, Figma, Figuarts). See pic related. Western figures like Marvel Legends and Mythic Legions just come with disproportionately big retarded head (e.g., the infamous Headdie Venom). Zeus came with pretty cool and unique accessories, especially the thunder smiting lance that I stole for my knights to they can pretend to be Dark Souls knight doing Lightning Spear spell. I'm not a berserker salesman or anything, obviously he's not my favorite figure ever as he is currently in storage, but I'm kinda glad to have him and I hope to have him out for shelf rotation sometimes...
>>11296586Ah I guess it looks more normal there. My main worry is that I’ll pick them up and then the next figura obscura is Greek gods or something and I know they’d probably do it better.
>>11296596It is just different artsyle. Berserker Zeus has more peachy anime skintone while 4H stuff has brownish Frazetta skintone. In my mind, he's an "anime" figure and belong next to my Fate Figmas. IMO the armors, etc. are also too "high" fantasy and too intricate compared to Mythic Legions. If you want a Mythic Legions style Zeus there are enough 3d party parts out there to cobble together some kind of a custom figure
I have Zeus and Poseidon. They’re neat, but the armor pieces are floaty and don’t stay in place well. I also can’t get Zeus to hold his lightning bolt properly but that may just be a me issue. Didn’t know they released Hades, not sure if I will get him.
