Hoping for a daredevil show daredevil reveal. I doubt the born again show will hold a candle to any season of the Netflix series (including season 2, don’t care), but i have Elektra figure from the Netflix series but never got the daredevil one because it skyrocketed in price. So a full daredevil suit version and the black fabric initial suit would both be great.
>>
Hoping for something insanely niche that no one no one but me cares about like Micronauts, like when we got Crystar
>>
>>11300791
I'm impressed with this Carol, the upper body sucks but the lower body has the best ass from Hasbro since the moonstone bodymold, the Phoenix ass is good but this one is just bigger and better
>>
>>11300664
Calling it now. Stream won't have any surprises aside from like one figure. I'm sure they'll show MCU Electro, the comic book wave (ROM, Daken, Miles, Banshee, etc), and one or two of the MvC 2-packs. Probably going to be one curve ball exclusive figure or figure in a multi pack to serve as the only surprise. Maybe Shuma dlx?
>>
>>11300819
This is probably what's going to happen. I'm alright with that, I don't mind having breaks from buying MLs when there isn't anything I'm interested in.

Alright my Merry Band of Marvel Misfits, let's fucking go!
>>
Oh THEY FUCKED UP, it's NOT LIVE
>>
>>11300831
Yep! LOL. Not live, and also in VR viewer mode? You can scrub through it all now.

They show:

-X Factor Jean retro card
-Ultimate (tons of accessories) Spidey
-MCU Electro
-Comic Wave >>11300819 he just mentioned
>>
Trying to watch this on mobile is impossible. Fucking why is it VR?
>>
Here's a rundown before they take the video down, will post pics if I can, the video is zoomed in or something.

X Factor Jean with Skull Mask and Open hair heads retro carded Target Excursive

MCU Electro with lightning effects and lighting face Amazon Exclusive

New Deluxe Spider-Man, they took the video down right when they were showing this off, I saw he had Spider Sense effect for his head.

>>
>>11300831
And now the video is deleted. Hasbro is so fucked up.
>>
>>11300840
I didn't get that far into the video. I got cut off when they were talking about Spider-Man, I was scrubbing through to get as much info as I could as fast as I could. I didn't know it was USM, but he has a ton of shit. I did see Daken appears to be the Dark Wolverine version to go with the other Dark Avengers.
>>
Are there any pics, or was the stream too fucked?
>>
>>11300843
I don't think that Spiderman is the 'Ultimate' suit, but rather 'Ultimate' in the sense that it includes tons of extra parts and accessories. They're doing a whole line of those type of figs packed with tons of stuff as was also in one of the leaked lists

lol he knew he was allowed to post after the stream but didn't get the word that the video was pulled.

Figure is basically what we expect. Buck with a new head and add-on. Head looks nice, hopefully it includes another gauntlet hand, and I still hate that forearm cut on the arm. They should have an alternate pair of smooth forearms for figures like these when there is no paint break there.

Comes with two masked heads, one Peter Parker head, all the hands you need which are newly molded, newly molded webs, Spider Sense effects. Arms break off at his forearms for bare arms to attach webshooters to. Comes with a stand for projectile webs. Web Shield.

>>
>>11300914
Is this their version of DC's Collectors Edition? They're even using McFarlane's Spider-Man design as their first fig.
>>
>>11300983
I think so. Otherwise they wouldn't have spent so long talking up how it had the most deco hits of any Spiderman figure they've ever done and all the accessories. $40 feels like the perfect price but I'm sure it'll be $50.

Not sure how many other normal human sized figures they can do in this scale other than ones that can just come with a shit ton of guns and blast effects like Punisher or Deadpool.
>>
>>11300989
Punisher and Deadpool seem like givens. I could see them doing an Iron Man, but even then the latest Secret Wars one comes with just about everything you need except a Tony head. Hulk is the next rumored character. I don't know if they could pull something like this off with like Cap or Wolverine, even though they're prime candidates for this kind of thing. They just don't have as much stuff unless you start giving Cap multiple shields and Wolverine multiple claw hands.
>>
>>11300991
The fantastic four
>>
>>11300989
Most of characters don't even need that level of articulation. Like Cyclops can be packed with with bunch of lazer beams but he's very static dude.
Anyway Hulk is next which will be very interesting figure arctilation wise.
>>
>>11300994
Actually, not a bad suggestion. You could pack Reed with a bunch of swappable parts for his powers, Johnny and Sue could each have a bunch of different effects, only one who could be lacking is Ben, but then if they are doing Hulk like the rumors say, then they could get away with Ben for sure.

I could see it happening, the team for the most part lends itself well to the stuffed with accessories model this sub line seems to be going for. Include some bases maybe and I'd say they're worth it. The only classic version of the blue and black suits were Walgreens exclusives that are old now, they could use some updates. They're also getting a movie next year, so it would be a good time to do them.

Magneto. Metal chunks and magnetism effects. Lots of hand, calm/angry/helmetless head. Maybe we finally get a bubble? Exactly my thoughts. Many of the A-listers have already have plussed up figures with new sculpts of some new tooling in the last 1-3 years that also included lots of extra. Aside from Deadpool like someone else here said, I'm not sure what else makes sense for this line.

I know Hulk is supposedly the next one, but that seems like a bad idea to do a large figure so soon because the inevitable $70-80 price tag will give people sticker shock.

Other figs that would make sense in this type of line are Daredevil, Cap, Iron Man, Black Widow, Elektra, Carnage and Venom. But so many of those just have pretty good figures with many accessories come out.

It's Spider Man. Of course it'll sell well. All the recent comic Spider Mans that aren't some weird version have been really hard to get a fetch a lot on the secondary market. It's all the figures they decide to do after him in this $50 line (Come on, we all know) that worry me.

I'm actually very good with this.
Ultimate Iron Man was one and only unique character from old Ultimate Universe design wise which you can't just customize from 616 counterpart figure. Yeah there were tiny Spider-Man and taller Wolverine and bunch of different costumes but those are easy customable. Iron Man is not.
>>
>>11301085
>assuming
yeah, you guys do a lot of that then act like it's sacrosanct. The Hasbro team LIES all the time and sells you bullshit about how HARD they work on shit when they're still price gouging, and their cheerleaders just eat this shit up.
>>11301085

reused Figure and a Motorcycle? $50
reused figure and a Dog? $70 paypiggies, because you wanted him so badly!

Why did Lockjaw justify an extra $20 compared to Ghost Rider's Motorcycle? Paypiggies will try to justify that without understanding that even the amount of plastic used, the difference is literally pennies between the two.

This is SpiderMan. He's going to have a justifiably higher production run.

Seriously, you guys would fall for any marketers bullshit, you're so gullible. I love my ML collection but I don't let that blind me to reality.

I don't like the price of that set or the cut articulaton on Lockjaw either, but the Riders series was carried at all major retailers and online everywhere. The Lockjaw set was a fan channel and even then, not all the usual places like Gamestop carried it. The production run was surely a fraction of what the other Riders waves had, hence a higher price. Not saying I like it, but that's how manufacturing goes

Shitty character to begin with, I still have the 2007 version. He hasn't been relevant since 2007. IM is a proper suit and all, but nobody really cares. Like Daken his last release was when he was last relevant. Happy for those that care, but a lot of us don't. The Ultimates comics fizzled out hard on a bad note. I'd honestly rather buy X-O Manowar than Ultimate IM.

How about this designs for new take on Fantastic Four figures? Not so bland as regular ones and not over designed as Rivals.
Interesting thing is that designs was used not only for Ultimate Universe but also to promote 616 Fantastic Four for some reason.
Another interesting thing is that ToyBiz already make this designs in their less known 6'inch FF line back in 2005.
>>
>>11301227
Fuck that faggot shit
>>
>>11301227
>ToyBiz already make this designs in their less known 6'inch FF line back in 2005.
I forget, was that the Dragon Man BAF? I have these in a box somewhere. No, I wouldn't buy these. SO many of these looks are for those who concentrate on certain teams or just eat whatever Hasbro shits out.

Like, I kinda wanted the Savage Land Xavier. but WTF do I do with another Xavier? There comes a point where refining your choices matter. And Hasbro knows this, which is why its taken them over 5 years to finish GSXM or gave us blue skin Namorita while admitting on "live" stream they know we prefer the classic version more.

Just because they CAN does not mean they SHOULD.
>>
>>11301231
I mean there eventually will be the new Fantastic Four wave. What costumes are still left? Heroes Reborn? Something from current comics?
>>
>>11301226
Daken came out in what 2008? They're releasing other Dark Avengers, so it only makes sense to get himan updste. His old figure was shitty anyway. >>
>>11301176
>Why would retailers say no to this Maximum Spider-man?
Because Legends haven't sold well at retail in a few years. Retailers are constantly getting stuck with tons of stock due to shitty MCU characters or Z-list comic characters. And they've probably seen the price of the Maximum Series figs and said Nooooooooo thank you.

I do think this is a bad sign that a new, prominent line with the most popular character in all of Marvel didn't get picked up by big box retail. That says to me that 1)The price Hasbro's asking is insane. or 2) Retailers really have no faith in Marvel collector product anymore that isn't tied to a movie.

main issue being the new accessories don't really entice me. this isn't like the classic Luke and 2pack Luke, I'm keeping both because they're two iconic versions of the same character but these spiders are just the same costume with more articulation and inconsequential guff, meanwhile Space Venom Miles & retro card notPaul are still great figures.

They retconned it into being a cartoon in the Ultimate Universe. I could actually see them having done a joke like that back in the day where Ultimate Tony had a comic book based on that cartoon. It would've made more sense to go with Ultimates #1 as the issue the figure came with, but I kinda like having the Orson Card run as an actual accessory as a nod to pic related.

I'm not surprised we just got 90's warlock again to go with 90's drax and thanos.
The 70's versions don't get much love, but after re-reading it recently, it had one of the best setups and premises in the first chapter, with counter-earth and the high evolutionary, but then went to shit the next month and continued to go down hill even through the magus arc.
>>
>>11301043
Aside from the webshooter hands, the spidey send effect and a couple of the web accessories, all of this is the bare minimum for what every Spider-man should come with, and pretty much what every Legends figure should come with.
At least one alternate head (unmasked/alternate expression)
Open hands, Fist hands, grip hands
A relevant effect piece/weapon
a base
The fact that every year the price of figures goes up and we get less for it is horseshit.

>Also just because one hobby is expensive doesn't justify another.
Not my point. My point is $40 for an action figure that comes with all that shit isn't expensive.

If you guys are sweating over $50 then maybe you need to reprioritize your life and take a break from collecting toys.

I know we all collect toys here, but would it kill you guys to grow the fuck up for once? Good Lord.
>>
>>11302071
Bro, it's not about $40-50 being a lot of money. I primarily buy imports, so I don't mind paying a premium for my toys either, but domestics are generally not high enough quality to warrant those kind of prices. This Peter comes with a lot so I'm okay with paying $40, though once it goes to $50, that's $55 after tax while the average import's like $60-70 nowadays.
>>
>>11302123
>Believing that just because you can afford it, you should buy it
You're the kind of conformist, consumerist moron who's actually killing the industry lmao.
>>
>>11302125
I mean, that's fair. But at the same time this kind of release really narrows the gap between imports and domestics. The accessory count is similar, the amount of separate parts on the actual figure is similar, the actual articulation scheme is getting to be damn close. The main difference will be the plastic quality, how well the joints feel, and the paint quality. The plastic for Hasbro products is always going to be gummier than imports. Hell, most domestic companies are. That's just the way it is. Paint quality varies all the time. I've gotten Mafex and SHFs with shitty paint so paint slop isn't exclusive to domestic lines. The joint quality will always be superior on imports, especially with the way domestic companies implement things like ratchets. That being said, I will say my most recent batch of Legends all have solid feeling joints, so while they're not as good as imports, they're definitely not as shit as they used to be, especially when Hasbro first started implementing pinless limbs.

I get what you're saying, and don't even disagree with you that imports are better, but these Maximum Series figures seem to be trying to close that gap. I honestly don't understand how some of you are treating this like the same reused mold we've gotten again and again when it's a brand new mold, with the most articulation an ML has ever had, with the most amount of paint deco an ML has ever had, while having an accessory count that absolutely dwarfs every other single release. I understand that sticker shock is going to put off some people who are on the more budget friendly side, but not every release needs to be budget friendly. But some of the mental hulah hoops you're jumping through to justify why you think this figure is bad is outrageous. There was one mouth breather earlier comparing the accessory count of Spider-Man to fucking three pack to try and justify his opinion. Absolutely retarded.
>>
>>11302138
This is the kind of retardation I'm talking about. I don't want to buy the figure just because I can afford it. I want to buy it because I want a McFarlane style Spider-Man with all those accessories. And yeah, for $40-$50 I can afford it and am willing to pay for it. Stop acting like a fucking woman and getting all bent out of shape because complete random strangers from the internet that you'll never meet spend their own money how they want to.
>>
>>11302118

>>
>>11302383
The Mafex people are out of their minds. When Mafex was $40, domestic even, so $25 plus $15 shipping if imported, they were a joke. Either barer than a Marvel Legend accessory-wise or a serious quality problem like bleeding/staining paint. Assholes had to almost triple price to get QC under control.

I don't like paying $40/$50 for Legends either but at least they're not a total shitshow like Mafex was.

How often do you guys think they will do Maximum releases? Spider-Man will obviously sell out, so it being based on sales is kind of redundent, so do we think they will be a once a year thing or more frequent? I already don't like that the maximum series is most likely to be all house names but they were relly struggling to come up with accessories, things like the sperm, web line and the webshooters are just guff. I can't imagine a Hulk needing more than a pair of fists and grabby hands but if it comes with a rock then I'll know this sub-line has no future.

Those web shooters are iconic, the different web shots were on the comics but are also a callback to the PS1 game, who didn't spam "web ball-web ball".

I expect different head expressions (maybe heads to represent different artstyles), thay could also include a bent pipe/steel beam and a torn lab coat.

They literally said in the stream it's only going to be for big name characters. Think Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Wolverine, Deadpool, and Hulk. All of those save Hulk have imports and they all have several regular release ML options. Most of which have been released within the last like year or two. You are literally making up scenarios in your head to get upset at. Painfully autistic bro.

A cost of Matte spray will actually probably fill those marks in the plastic and hide them quite nicely. The figure will probably even be for from a matte topcoat in general, it'll be less plasticy and shiny looking, it shouldn't fuck up the good paint either. That's what I would recommend. They aren't deep marrs in the plastic, I've done similar things to gunpla pieces when building a kit and a matte topcoat did a good job of hiding them.

Something feels off about the lines on his suit and I don't love the Peter head, but everything else about this figure looks amazing. Dope accessories for the most part, easily the best Hasbro era Spidey ML to date so good for them.

Todd is such a retarded fag omg
>>
>>11302934
Too bad his shoulder length is too narrow. Either that or his head is too big. His feet could look better also his hands are suppose to look like a mitten with his index finger being separated.
>>
>>11303559
> Something feels off about the lines
If the body proportions were more in line with a comicbook character the lines would fall better on the body.

>>11303214
Yeah you’re forgetting daredevil, punisher, moon knight, irving forbush, venom, your mother, black panther…… because of the mcu almost every hero is now a household name. The entire Ultimate Alliance roster is now recognizable to the mcu junkie.
>>
>>11303160
Jeasus man don't be such pussy. Just cut her lower legs and replace it with some decent boots from any other figure.
>>
>>11303631
And what do you know? Each one of those figures have multiple options from different manufacturers. Don't like the Hasbro Moon Knight get the AY. Don't like Has to Punisher, get the Mezco. Your reasoning is stupid and therefore you are stupid too. Go be an idiot somewhere else.
>>
>>11303638
Huh? I’m justing pointing out the countless options they have for the maximum series, I’m not the anon you were talking to prior, stupid
>>
>>11303640
Ah I see. Well obviously I didn't list EVERYONE. I was just giving some examples to prove my point that anything that comes out in the Maximum line will have options elsewhere as well and that the guys reasoning for getting upset is outright stupid.
>>
>>11303651
Marvel has gotten so popular to the point where every character can potentially be in the maximum series aside from one offs like grasshopper. However I don’t see a character like the punisher being a character that an import company (a company like mafex/yamaguchi dishing out other ips mind you) would take priority over their own japanese characters. His fear is that soon your average legend would cease to exist in exchange of maximum figures (which is not a bad thing). Sure there are older versions but those figures are outdated.

This is ultimately a poorfag issue.
>>
>>11303662
>Marvel has gotten so popular to the point where every character can potentially be in the maximum series
I still think regardless of how popular the franchise is as a whole, Maximum Series is for A-Listers only. The top 10 or whatever whenever people make ranking lists. It's why they started with Spoder-Man, they literally said they started with him because he's Marvel's #1 character.

>However I don’t see a character like the punisher being a character that an import company (a company like mafex/yamaguchi dishing out other ips mind you) would take priority over their own japanese characters
You underestimate how much the nips love Marvel. If AY is willing to make a Moon Knight or a Gwenom, I don't see it outside the realm of possibility for them to do Punisher, hell, Frank fits in with AYs asthetic a la their Metal Gear figures. I mean Mezco has done several Franks at this point.

>His fear is that soon your average legend would cease to exist in exchange of maximum figures
I get that and he's stupid for thinking that. Just because they release this Maximum Spider-Man he thinks they're never going to release a regular release Spider-Man ever again? That's literally fucking stupid.

>This is ultimately a poorfag issue.
Couldn't agree more. It's not like anyone is forcing them to buy a Maximum Spidey but they're letting their fomo get the better of them and are lashing out. It's nuts.
>>
>>11303637
I am just a loser in general anon, but it was more a good thing, made me reflect and realise I do really just want one of each character, in my favourite version of them and I'd rather wait for a version that is close to perfect, whoever makes it. I might change my mind on Jean anyway, will see, I suspect without the UK exclusive Target shit here she might end up not as hard to get and end up in sales.

>>11303214
And you believe Hasbro employees.
>>
>>11303721
Oh yeah, they're totally lying about the kind of character the Maximum line is for. You people are fucking retards, holy shit.
>>
>>11303672
You are a frog in a pot of water. Hasbro just turned on the burner at a low temperature, it feels barely any different to you. Dwight, Dan and Ryan just whispered sweet nothings in your ear, assuring you the MAXIMUM price is only for special A list characters. And look, you get all these useless webbings and the tons of hands to throw in a baggy and never use! Wow!

But in a few years they will run out of A list characters, and Hasbro will start to turn up the heat. Economic conditions will have changed. The trade war with China will have accelerated. And prices will need to go up. Amounts of accessories will need to come down...again. You'll notice MAXIMUM releases include less and less gradually. Remember, regular Legends used to come with more on average.

Then you'll see some B and C listers start showing up as MAXIMUM releases, and the number of MAXIMUM releases will go up while the number of regular Legends will go down. Slowly the heat will go higher, so you don't notice it at first. And for the few people who do notice, they'll be called "poorfags" and "schizos", because I mean, a business' job isn't to maximize profits, right? It's to provide you nice figgies to go with your trust fund and mom's chicken tendies.

And it will keep accelerating. It will be a de facto price increase as more releases are MAXIMUM price (I like how they just put it right in the name too, telling you what they are doing). Just like what McFarlane did with his CE line, only he did it faster and more ham-fisted (as usual) and didn't make any illusions that it was just to fleece people. And it still worked. So Hasbro knows you'll take it--you're addicted and you can't stop buying. Soon you'll find you're spending a lot more of your trust fund to buy those figgies, because Hasbro deserves that money for fooling you.

>>11303753
Anon, I literally work for a business that lies to their customers all the time. I see it happen. The fact you think it couldn't is extremely naive.

Is basically everything on AliExpress expected to be shitty knockoffs? Looking at the SHIELD 3-pack thats like $40 off from "HappyToys Store" from China.. says its free returns if its a counterfeit item and everything, I just want to believe its legit and save the $40 to snag the three pack I want for my cap collection. Anyone with any good experiences or horror stories from AliExpress? Would be much appreciated. Store rating is 4.8 of 5, while with 2,800 customer reviews 95.8% are positive. Could of course be bot farming but I just dont know what to believe at this point.
>>
>>11303840
Using AliExpress is always risking your money as its far more shady than even Amazon third parties. Best cases I've seen is the box being heavily destroyed. Especially if its a newer shop, it can be a fly by night operation

If you do ever risk it, never use a credit or debit card since you don't want some random people in China having your CC number, ever.
>>
>>11303840
It's hit or miss. I've never seen bootlegs of that Shield set but doesn't mean they didn't start. With single figures, they're more likely to be bootleg.

So how much over the retail price have you guys paid for a Legend or other figure before? I am still fretting over the Widow, it's inevitable they do another, but one wasn't on any of the leaked lists and £10 over has be squirming. I'm such a dweeb shit like this sticks in my head >>11302909.
>>
>>11304064
I'm in Yurop, I always pay over retail.
>>
>>11304064
$35-$40 is about the highest I'll go for a normal sized Legends. Paying an extra $15-$20 isn't really a huge deal imo if you really want the toy. I'll pay more for deluxes and big figs obviously.
>>
>>11304067
:(
>>11304091
I have a genuine sort of decision paralysis over the most stupid of things, I get all wound up over paying like a few pounds more for something and can't stop stressing, yet tomorrow I'll casually piss away twice that getting my boiler serviced.
>>
>>11304064
Highest I've paid for a Legend was 24.99, literally. I wouldn't pay ebay prices, that's stupid. If you miss the figure, just ignore it, its just pieces of plastic.
>>
>>11304115
Well in this case it's just the added shipping cost as it's from a mainland european shop, but the figure is actually retail so cheaper cos of euro conversion, they just charge really high shipping. But yeah you're probably right, I flip between you and >>11304091 this anon.
>>
>>11304108
Just nut up and pay the extra 10 Euro bucks. I pay more than that in shipping from Japan when I buy imports. Stop sweating it. Unless £10 is actually a big deal to your budget, then if so consider a different hobby.
