It is so satisfying to buy random piles of old LEGO pieces and instructions, and carefully extracting as much as possible of the sets that made up those piles.
I somehow didn't find a single black door for this one, so red had to do. The original grey chopper rotor was also totally lame, so I made it rad.

Rebuilding some old Legos tossed away years ago. Thought I kept all the hero factory pieces, but I'm missing a lot (half of Corrider and Breeze 6227, a bit of Rocka and Reapa). What I'm worried most are two of the Monster Fighter sets, the Mummy and Frankenstein. I wish I took care of these better when I was younger.

Your chances of actually putting something together go way up. And I personally find that physical instructions are just nicer. You can completely disconnect from the online world and play with some LEGO as if it was 1997 all over again.

I have a separate box of medium blue and dark red for the polar express coaches build. And that box includes almost every piece type.I would recommend mixing trans green with a different colour too. Otherwise finding specific pieces will be an eye straining exercise.
