>>11552579I just got it in. I feel guilty and like shit for paying nearly half of what the Rattler with three figures cost to get it, but it couldn't be helped really. I've been in the game long enough to know that this is how the market works. It's the single most expensive figure I bought in decades. And no I don't give a shit that I just killed half the value by opening it up. The Rattler is probably done shipping now. So no more unless Hasbro reissues it, most likely in a lighter blue color. So it's not gonna get any cheaper. Fuck it.
>>11552600Congratulations on finally getting it
>>11552579I wonder if the female packaged with the Polar Battle Bear is “Arctic Scarlet?”Since we just got arctic Lady Jaye with the SnowCat.I can’t think of any new female Joe that’s connected with cold environments.
>>11552645Possible. Either her or Cover Girl
>>11552679Cover Up Girl. It's freezing.
>>11552692She's gonna earn the new codename "Headlights"
Since Hasbro won't do the Skystriker due to it size, what are the chances of getting the Conquest x-30 instead? The Joes need a counter to the Rattler.
>>11552801Technically the Dragongfly is its counterpart in the Classified line.Once the FANG comes out, the Sky Hawk will come out to be its counter.
>>11552801They'll never make my favorite vehicle and it hurts.
>>11552811I'd rather have another big-ass plane, and the X-30 is a good candidate due to it not being too big.
>>11552579It only just recently occured to me that Grunt's headsculpt resembles OG Doomguy, while Sci-Fi resembles Doomguy as seen in Doom 3.
>Still haven't gotten my RattlerHow fucked am I?
>>11553446Email them and ask where it's at because they're just about done shipping. Be sure to include the order number
>>11552645Arctic Scarlett would be too popular to release with a vehicle. It probably is some new female character using existing body parts, like Wolf Spider.
The prices on a couple of the Rattler figures have softened. Two weeks ago the Rattler gunner was selling at $80 and Baroness was selling at $150, and both have come down. Wild Weasel is still holding his price, though. There's a son of sellers selling them now, and a few got the hint with lowering their prices to make the sale.
>>11553648>There's a son*ton. Derp.
>>11553648>>11553656"Thanks, Dad, but I don't care about GI Joe."
>>11553658Well there are people who want them but think the prices suck. If you sell off the figures at those prices, you got the Rattler itself for free. Some people are annoyed by that.
>>11553446so.... are you saying there's a small chance it appears suddenly at my front door by a fortuitus mistake?
>>11553698If it's shipped FedEx then there's a high chance of them delivering it to the wrong address
>>11553710YeahSo check the tracking shipping and see what the final delivery picture is
>>11553719>>11553710>>11553698I talked it into exsitence I guess cause I checked a minute ago and it finally shipped. Fedex but says the same down so I should be good
>>11553723If it's possible then try to be there on the day of delivery.
>OP pic is that same as last threadYou absolute cretin. I thought I was going crazy.
>>11553754Cute girls
>>11553754When did Cobra Commander become a break-dancer?
>>11553781They glued his head to the ground
>>11553822>Lies and ssslander!>I am a talented dansscer!>You will pay for this baseless rumor!
>>11553883>the leader of the most ruthless and evil terrorist organization in the world was a used-car salesman, and his pee-pee didn't respond at all to Baroness in a fire-crotch bikiniSometimes I wonder about him.
>>11553924Cobra Commander loves redheads. Also Baroness is insane proved to be disloyal to him many times. She got with Steeler, Destro, and would've taken Serpentor's serpent of commanded to do it.
>>11553754>what if... "G.I. Joe: The Musical"
I want a retro Shockwave you all think they would do one? the classified one kind of sucks.
>>11554121All of the 1:12 joes suck. They don't fit in vintage vehicles.
>>11553648Why are you doing this? Hope is the first step on the path to disappointment, the prices are never going to be reasonable and the re-use, if it happens, is going to be a cursed figure, I just know it. It's over.
>>11553754Holy shit, you have a Killy?! I am beyond envious, I'm glad he's in good hands, I like your photos.
Where's my swat team? I need them to fight my black hobo army
>>11554303>I like your photosThanks for letting me know. 1000toys Killy was my first ever figure I had to preorder the moment I saw it. Acquiring him and taking some pics also got me back into articulated figure collecting after a five year long loss of interest.
>>11553924Cartoon Cobra Commander wasn't a used car salesman unless his life took a really weird detour between leaving Cobra-La and starting Cobra. He's probably not into human women and may not even have a pee-pee.Comic Cobra Commander had an ex-wife and a son, but he's still one of those villains who's never 'off-duty', it's difficult to see either version of him having any time for romance or sex once he puts on the mask. Destro's the only male GI Joe villain who even seems to have an 'off-duty' setting.
>>11554452What paint did you use?
>>11554472The Cobra-La stuff came in 5 years after the start, so it feels more like a ret-con to me. Even Larry Hama knew it, which is why he didn't bother to include that shit in the comic books.
>>11554491>The Cobra-La stuff came in 5 years after the start, so it feels more like a ret-con to me.It's only really a retcon if he already had an origin it was replacing, and in the cartoon, he didn't. There was no reason to assume he'd have the exact same origin as he did in the comic continuity when so many other things were different. IIRC by the time of the movie, the comics had only partially revealed some of his origin anyway, the full story wasn't told until later. The various other iterations of GI Joe since have left Cobra Commander as a villain whose origin is a multiple choice question, there's no one default origin that most things go with.>Even Larry Hama knew it,Hama correctly convinced Hasbro that something like Cobra-La just wouldn't work in the comics, which were a lot more grounded, but it's not even close to the weirdest thing to happen in the cartoons. If the movie had been more popular, and Hasbro had made more Cobra-La toys, they might have tried harder at forcing them into the comics, Hama was very aware if he fought Hasbro too hard on anything they could just replace him.
>>11554503It was so out of nowhere, and an entire civlization laying hidden inside of a mountain for thousands of years seemed less believable than Cobra cloning dinosaurs. And Hasbro had already forced a new leader above CC that a lot of people didn't like (Serpentor), and now suddenly they just did it twice in two years (Golobulus). And they knew they fucked up, which is why Sunbow's last stretch with the cartoon didn't mention Cobra-La at all beyond what's directly related to CC, CC was reconstituted into a serpent-man for which him being a serpent could be explained by the transformation process leaving a lignering trace, and Serpentor who was 100% human got turned into a lizard to get rid of him. And DIC was more than happy to run with a continuation of that instead of the Cobra-La narrative. And Larry Hama just dealt with it by claiming that CC is dead and bttle-armor CC is really a Crimson guardsman named Fred.
>>11554524>And they knew they fucked up, which is why Sunbow's last stretch with the cartoon didn't mention Cobra-La at all beyond what's directly related to CCThat was DIC. The movie was the last Sunbow GI Joe animation, outside of some toy ads.>And Larry Hama just dealt with it by claiming that CC is dead and bttle-armor CC is really a Crimson guardsman named Fred. The real Cobra Commander wore that armor for a few issues. In a real short space of time, Hasbro seem to have given Hama conflicting instructions to promote Cobra Commander's new toy AND kill him off for synergy with the movie.Anyway, I guess you're not looking forward to the Pythona figure.
>>11554545At any rate people hated Serpentor, which is why he's hardly in the 1986 cartoon season after the "Arise Serpentor Arise" mini-series. People also hated Golobulus, especially the stupid figure with a long tail you couldn't do shit with and couldn't have the figure stand up.
>>11554549>people hated SerpentorWell, that's your opinion. He's divisive, but not all of us hate him, and it's a common anecdote that he was one of the must-have GI Joe toys of 1986. A lot of the early season 2 episodes after the opening 5 parter were allegedly recycling scripts that had been written a year earlier, but didn't make it into season 1, so he doesn't show up so much until the second half of the season because they couldn't fit him into those scripts without a lot of rewriting. If it was a "Hasbro knew they screwed up" situation it would be the other way around, with his presence reducing in the later episodes.I'm not going to defend Golobulus' toy, just Burgess Meredith's work in voicing him, he didn't need to do as good a job as he did with that role. I hope Hasbro can make Golobulus work in Classified.
>>11554552>I hope Hasbro can make Golobulus work in Classified. The hard part is the tail. I am sure it'll be a snap-on tail in various poses including a coiled one so it can stand up.
>>11554549It could be a fun toy now though
>>11554591Personally I hate the 1986 cartoon because of how it was handled. It immediately starts off with Doctor Mindbender complaining about CC's leadership and how Cobra needs a new leader. While that's happening all I'm thinking is "DUDE YOU'VE BEEN ON THE JOB FOR COBRA FOR LIKE FIVE MINUTES. STFU!" Both Flint and Duke got down-graded in rank by Hawk and Beach Head who were both out of nowhere as well, and Duke's given shit jobs in remote areas to show the audience that he's no longer the alpha Joe. At least the Dreadnoks intro'd Thrasher and Monkeywrench instead of pulling them out of thin air and pretending like they were always there.
>>11554524Dude, Cobra-La was invented so they could be completely defeated by the end of the movie. We couldn’t have G.I.Joe do a decisive victory over Cobra in the movie to end the franchise. And it worked.
>>11554744They had a decisive victory over Cobra with Pyramid of Darkness.
>>11554477Not mine but they used https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0DZTD5Z55/
>>11554877Cool. I could use those on a couple of Ttransformers reissues I got without any chrome on them because Hasbro wanted to be cheap with "cartoon likenesses."
>>11554121Probably not. We got Night Force Shockwave (which ironically DOES have proper fully finger gloved hands) so if we get another it will probably be DEA Shockwave. Just do what I did and buy some loose Beachhead hands and switch out the fingerless gloved hands regular Shockwave had with the proper glove hands.
>>11554881Glad I could help but fags asking for cartoon likeness has been a thing for years and that's why 60% of third parties are undetailed box men with almost no sculpting
>>11554889Or it was cheaper for Hasbro to not chrome out and give stickers to vintage Transformer reissues.
>>11554890
>>11554503I love Hama but he has a weird hatred of Cobra La that I don't care for. He regularly does art for fans but he refuses to do anything related to Cobra La.
>>11554524>less believable than Cobra cloning dinosaursHow about time traveling to ancient Greece? Or meeting Egyptian Gods?
>>11554763They escaped though
>>11554963That was the writers making GI Joe to be an all-in-one adventure series including treasure hunting. That's why the cartoon works. It's not strictly military stuff
>>11554960Based, cobra-la is fucking stupid.
>>11554988Get better taste
>>11554890>>11554892Oh right, I completely missed "reissue" in your original comment. My bad.
>>11554452The problem with this is it would make me want to color the silver on the twins since now it stands out
>>11554622>It immediately starts off with Doctor Mindbender complaining about CC's leadership and how Cobra needs a new leader. To be fair, within the context of the cartoon, you don't even need to be a member of Cobra to have figured that out. It's actually understandable that the new guy is freaking out about "how is this guy possibly still in charge?".>>11554744You're not wrong, but Hasbro did have plans to make further Cobra-La toys if the movie was more successful (some of them seem to have been re-purposed and released as Cobra or IG soldiers), and Sunbow didn't think the movie was going t be the cartoon's finale, they had plans for a third season in which, at least to begin with, Cobra would also be finished, with Tomax and Xamot gathering former Cobras into a new group. It's so far removed from anything Hasbro was doing with the toys that it's difficult to see them allowing it to run past a season-opening 5 part story that ends with Cobra back to normal.
>>11554988The idea of Cobra La was great, just poorly executed with poor writting and shitty designs, especially cobra commander. You're telling me a man turned into a snake ends up looking like a frog with scalps for teeths? So much wasted potential if you ask me.
Is Action man on Hasbro's no fly list ? Since Valaverse snatched the action force name.It feels odd that Hasbro has abandoned the character since as I remember he was pretty popular thanks to the 12-inch line and even the McDonald’s toys.I’d love to see the NF version—or honestly, ANY version at this point.
>>11555357The IDW comics 'Hasbroverse' had an Action Man comic, so if anything's changed, it's happened relatively recently.
>>11555360Yeah action man has been MIAA since 2016, Vala acquired the "action force" trademark around 2019. I was going to say the same for the red shadows but we've got a red shadows guard by super 7 last year. There's still h(c)ope ......
>>11555335>if the movie was more successful (some of them seem to have been re-purposed and released as Cobra or IG soldiersWhich ones dawg
>>11555374Nullifier, Darklon, and the main IG trooper are the three repurposed Cobra La guys. Sone like to think the three removable mask Vipers (Toxo, Astro, Hydra) were also intended to be Cobra La but it later came out that they were just an experiment by Hasbro to see if they could to d do Cobra troops with removable masks
>>11555357Action Man is basically Hasbro's back-up when the overall liberal sentiment is anti-military. >>11554960Hama accepted the sci-fi elements that Hasbro threw at him, but only up to a certain point. He tried to keep the comic books as "military" as possible in spite of what Hasbro was pushing. And there was no doubt a whole lot of "I got out of bed for this shit?" days with him while doing it.He didn't have Cobra/Joe going on ancient treasure-hunting missions for an enchanted conch that made men stupid, King Arthur's sword, the treasure of the Pharoahs, etc. He only did that once at a minimum state with Serpentor's DNA coming from ancient sites as per Hasbro's guidelines for the character. And Cobra-La was no doubt too far out there for his liking.
>>11555434There's a distinction between sci-fi elements that are not strictly real, but can still be explained with science and could plausibly be real within the next 50 years or already as some super secret skunkworks used by an elite special force like G.I.Joe. Jetpacks, laser guns, orbital lasers, power armor, DNA manipulation, androids. And "sci-fi" elements that are closer to pure fantasy like literal magic, ghosts, time travel and underground lizardmen, all the weird stuff from the cartoons.Hard science fiction vs soft sci-fi / fantasy.I always got the sense Hama writes about futuristic technologies and their possibilities for warfare with the passion of someone who reads actual SF authors like Heinlein. Even when the story goes to unlikely places like space he tries to keep it semi plausible. No doubt he was rolling his eyes at a lot of the stuff coming from Hasbro but only because he cares more about the genre than the toy designers who just make whatever they think looks cool.
>>11555494It's like Metal Gear Solid with there being sci-fi elements within military, but it's plausible sci-fi elements. There's nothing so far out there that the only way to explain it is "turn your brain off and you'll like it." BUT unlike MGS which was under full contol by its creator (Hideo Kojima), Hama didn't get to be the creator of any of it, and had to take what Hasbro threw at him like the bouncing cobra pogo of psycho-bouncing-death, and find a way to work with it. He did a good job all things considered.
>>11554988It's magical.
>>11555544That's why it was stupid. The intro was the ONLY good part of that movie. They lured you in with insta-nostalgia, then drop a whole bunch of other shit on you while marginalizing most of their established characters to promote the new toys....excuse me characters. That's basically what Transformers The Movie did, except with less killing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Ah2I166f_UZarana was supposed to be topless in it, which the fags cut out. That's a bigger crime against the fans than out-of-nowhere aliens living secretly on earth. Maybe one day when AI advances enough, someone will seamlessly put that part back in.
>>11555377>DarklonThat explains the lizard face
>>11555646>That's why it was stupid. It fits right in with the rest of the series you dunce.
>>11555955No it didn't. It was completely out of nowhere. And the fact that it didn't fit is why it got quickly buried, and planned figures re-tooled into something else.
>>11555920You can really see that it's a lizard-person with a narrow head, so it's easy to believe.
>>11556044I guess that's why Classified gave him a less lizard like head
>>11556175The more you look at the original Darklon, the more apparent that it's not a human character. So it makes sense to make the new one actually human
>>11556044It looks like someone put a medieval helmet on him, then put his hide sideways into a hydraulic press to permanently squeeze it on.
>>11556182>The more you look at the original Darklon, the more apparent that it's not a human character.Should they just tie everything together by saying Destro had an uncle with weird tastes, so Destro has a cousin from Cobra-La?
>>11556244I think it shows how much the Classified team have worked to actually learn the brand because nobody really thinks about how he's a reused lizard man repurposed to be a guy in a mask with lizard eyes for no reason. We all just accepted it but they decided to give us an extra option encase we're just extra autistic
>>11556041>No it didn't.see>>11554963
>>11555377Speaking of repurposed figures. What's the deal with Overlord? I know the dossier says he's a CG that decided he should be leader but certain commercials and the figure itsef make me think it was originally meant as a new Cobra leader, if not a knew version of Cobra Commander himself. Also>Shredder like helmet>Shredder like claws>voiced by James Avery in the commercials
>>11556358Urban legend was that Hama was told he could bring CC back as a clone but he had to come back "different" IE the whole "clones only physically look like someone but immediately develop unique identities and personalities" and rather than be Cobra Commander, he would take a new name "Overlord" and pretty much unify Cobra and destroy the Iron Grenadiers to unify Cobra as one group under him.But then shit changed and Hama was allowed to just say CC survived being shot after all and Overlord has his bio card changed and basically it was decided to just ignore him as a character until Devil's Due made him a Serpentor loyalist.
>>11556461Then there's also the part where in the late 80s/early 90s Hasbro was trying to keep GI Joe relevant by competing with Ninja Turtles. That's when it was "NINJAS NINJAS NINJAS EVERYWHERE, AND OUR NINJAS ARE COOL BECAUSE THEY HAVE MOTORCYCLES AND SHIT!" Firefly and Zartan were suddenly ninjas, and they even planned a "ninja force" line with Road Pig, Flint, Scarlet, and others as ninjas. so I don't think it's coincidental that Overlord looks "inspired" by Shredder.
Joe instagram account just posted all the police promos with no caption.
>>11556750Those are cool, but when people think of GI Joe they're not thinking about generic cops.
>>11556750Fuck them for continuing this gloved hand trend just make a fucking black and white cop 2 pack if you want to make it an army builder you fucks
>>11556784I do. They're modern day heroes
>>11556788They're reducing the number of hands a figure comes with to focus on other accessories, so it makes sense.
>>11556789I don't disagree, but they're no-name characters pushing named characters people are waiting on or hoping for to the back of the line.
>>11556586Why Road Pig
>>11556844Because at that time Hasbro was completely psycho with shoving ninjas down our throats. They still act like ninjas are one of the most important elements to GI Joe. Just look at the Snake Eyes movie.
>>11556844Which Cobra would you rather have in the Ninja Commandos assortment? Major Bludd? Zarana?
>>11556931Monstro
>>11556858No I mean why Road Pig>>11556931Well not Road Pig
>>11556931Why have ninja commandos at all? It's a stupid gimmick.
>>11556800Original G.I.Joe was a generic unnamed soldier.
>>11557173Ttrue, but Classified is based on ARAH, not the 1960s line.
>>11556989 I think TMNT and several ninja movies in the 80's-90's influenced the decision to make ninja shit more prominent back in the day. Ninja Force became kind of a meme but now add nostalgia and it's something like "so bad is good" type of shit. G.I. Joe is a very "I like that, let's try it" kind of line and sometimes they try to pass blatant ripoffs as "homages"
>>11557220I like GI Joe better in the cartoon where there was only one ninja.
>>11556797the tradeoff is it looks like shitcops don't wear form fitting bodysuits
I dunno I still kinda feel like this is bullshit
>>11557592Things can arrive in a port and still take over a month to get to a warehouse.
>>11556750Nice, some inept villain jobbers for my other figures to beat the shit out of
>>11557592A number of these were real, but I feel like people are just making fake ones now. The Ghost Viper hasn't even gone up for PO or really even had a vague release date yet.
GIBros... Who the FUCK is this guy in the back of the APC box? I don't think I've ever seen a reference to him anywhere and he seems that have a Has to qualify mold ie. He's not from a K Mart knock off brand. Wtf
>>11557861*Hasbro quality mold
>>11557592>>11557820I'm betting on real, Walmart and Target are both running collector events going into October to coincide with NYCC, and Pythona is supposed to be the Fall Con exclusive. Having all the new items in stock at once wouldn't be too surprising if they were trying to ship around tariff changes.
>>11557861It's Airborne
>>11556931>Which Cobra would you rather have in the Ninja Commandos assortment? If we're going with "random character gets a new toy in the Ninja Force subline", The Baroness was the most overdue for a new figure. If we're going with someone who'd make any sense at all getting a Ninja Force figure, either Zandar for his stealth and silent weapons gimmick being close enough, or Serpentor because in the comics Storm Shadow was one of his DNA contributors.
>>>11557241 I like GI Joe better in the cartoon where there was only one ninja.that was so fucking dumb.Storm Shadow's rival in the cartoon was Spirit, an indian tracker, because Snake Eyes was a mute, who couldn't have dialogue to state their rivalry.Shit like this is why i never liked the original GI Joe cartoon. It was was so stupid, i knew it was retarded even as a child.>>11557220GI Joe was already following the ninja fad from the 70s/80s, before TMNT even existed. TMNT itself was following the ninja fad from the 70s/80s, because that's also what Daredevil was following, which TMNT was satiring.GI Joe becoming Snake Eyes focused in the 90s is what led to the ninja force being created. I don't think there was a resurregence in ninjashit in the 90s until Power Rangers came out in the mid-90s, which was 2 years after Ninja Force was created. The early 90s was all about superheroes, so maybe Hasbro likened ninjas with superheroes and Snake eyes was the closest thing they to a superhero? Who knows.
>>11557903Like most things in GI Joe fiction that don't seem to make sense, the real explanation is because of new toys to push. Storm Shadow's rivalry with Spirit in the cartoon wasn't because Snake Eyes was mute, it was because Spirit and Storm Shadow were both new toys being promoted in the second cartoon miniseries, while Snake Eyes was a older toy, so had a much smaller role. The comic issue that established the Snake Eyes vs Storm Shadow rivalry was released earlier, but the production time for a cartoon, especially a 5-episode miniseries, is generally longer, so Revenge of Cobra was likely written with Sunbow having no idea of what the comics were going to do.That the Sunbow writers never had Storm Shadow fight Snake Eyes in later episodes, even after the 2nd Snake Eyes toy, and instead used Quick Kick as a second rival for him, may have been Hasbro wanting the cartoon to push Quick Kick because the comics were already doing a good enough job of pushing Snake Eyes, or possibly a contrarian refusal to copy the thing the comics were popularizing, some interviews do give the impression of some sort of rivalry between the cartoon people and the comic people.Sunbow's writers never did a Snake Eyes-centric episode because he was mute, but they had no problem including him as part of the ensemble cast, just with treating him like a main character.
>>11555377I can see why people think Hydro-Viper might have been originally designed as a Cobra-La troop, but Toxo-Viper and Astro Viper look too obviously like guys in human-designed clothing. I'm not convinced on the Iron Grenadier, mainly because of the helmet, but Nullifier is even more obviously meant to be non-human than Darklon. There's something just mildly unsettling about the armor and the proportions of the head on that figure.
>>11557922The muteness of the character is the main reason the cartoons didn't push him. The comic medium lends itself much better to explaining what's going on with this guy who doesn't speak. They can always put in text boxes or have other characters give long-winded exposition. The cartoon was written for young kids and the dialogue was on the level of "oh no!" and "grr I'm angry just you wait!"They were never going to bother with deep dives into a speechless vietnam veteran's troubled psyche.
>>11557884I'm thinking that too. It's an early version of Airborne in different colors
>>11557922except Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow fought in the first episodes that Storm Shadow first appeared in, before Spirit showed up.Yeah, maybe they did push Spirit because he's a brand new character... but why make him Storm Shadow's rival? Fucking retarded.Nevermind that Snake Eyes was already a fan-favorite by then, hence getting him a brand new figure the next year. Oh, but they make Quick Kick Storm Shadow's rival the next season? Ok... and Snake Eyes continues barely being a thing who gets his ass beat all the time, because he's an overglorified background character.Again, the cartoon did almost nothing with him because he couldn't speak.>some interviews do give the impression of some sort of rivalry between the cartoon people and the comic people.I know that Hama routinely shit talked the retards who made the cartoon, but never the other way around.>>11557934exactly
>>11557922Snake Eyes was also a new toy in 1985, but in that cartoon season it was still Sprit/SS. Sunbow approached Snake Eyes as a commando, not a ninja. I personally liked it that way. And even the comic books started Snake Eyes as a Vietnam vet who got burned in a napalm accident, and not a ninja. That didn't come until later. >>11557927>There's something just mildly unsettling about the armor and the proportions of the head on that figure.Nullifier has always been creepy-looking to me, as if it was an alien figure from a different line. So I find it totally beleivable that it was meant for Cobra-La. It just doesn't fit in at all, and neither did Darklon with his narrow green head. And both had very alien-looking vehicles.
>>11557972It even looks like alien writing on his chestplates before Hasbro decided to re-use him as a "human" figure.
>>11557972>>11557983For real, he looks like the space jockey from Alien, the OG movie.
>>11558161Cram it
>>11557884Thanks. The face mold is obviously chunkier though and the chest is different. I can see the helmet though, and see what you're saying. I wonder if there are more pics of proto-Gomer Airborne.
>>11557972I'm so glad the space shit was abandoned back then. It ruins the line and makes it a complete farce. Yes, the cartoon did a lot of dumb shit too, but the toys and cards made a lot of that ignorable
>>11558352There's been a space department in the military for decades, long before RAH even, it just wasn't a branch of its own. And the air force's X-15 was a spacecraft by the same technicality that makes Katy Perry an astronaut. The idea of the military going to space is not that outlandish in itself, of course G.I.Joe did a lot of silly things with it.
>>11557902I agree with Zandar. Being a ninja plays to his strengths and follows Zartan.Baroness was going to get a new 1995 figure already.
>>11558161The figure also couldn't stand up because the tail piece wasn't flexible enough to bend into the extreme poses that would have been required. Kids back then compared him to a moldy carrot when they were going for snakeman.
Fun fact: the 1987 catalog photo of Globulus gave him a static gray snake tale that sat flat. basically a statue snake lower body that didn't have any articulation. I remember expecting that when I got the Cobra La three pack as a gift from my mom one day out of the blue. As well as being super fucking disappointed that Globulus had a giant orb lower half for 95% or the GI Joe film and only revealed his snake lower torso in the final battle.
>>11556931The only ones that really fit are Tomax and Xamot. MAYBE Destro, since I can see him going weeb and putting on a Samurai outfit. But I do wish we got more actual Joes as Ninjas not just a bunch of garbage literal whos. Lady Jaye, Shipwreck, Dial Tone, Beachhead could have worked as Ninjas.
will 25th style joes ever return or is Hiya the only hope
>>11558939Hasbro isn't willing to take a hit on losing sales on 6", because $28>$18 and GI Joe is so niche it can barely support one line right now.So unless Hasbro starts losing a ton of money over the next few years and goes back to making 1:18 to get sales back... well, it's going to take at least 2 years before you see good GI Joes in 1:18 from Hasbro. So yeah, Hiya is your only choice and it has to be imported, due to Hasbro not allowing Hiya to sell their toys domestically.
>>11558789No shit. You can see it here:>>11558352
>>11558939Never because retarded manchildren that don't even play with their toys asked repetedly for the return of o-ring (because they like their "moc" collection and having their wall with rows and rows of these pretending they are 8yo in the middle of an 80's target store), which is an outdated and stupid looking design, thus throwing away years of action figure engineering development down the trash. Most 25th and beyond molds must be rusting away in a chinese warehouse by now.
>>11559064Hasbro's not even delivering on O-ring Joes any more. They're focused solely on the 6" scale, and outsource the O-Ring nostalgia to Super7. And Super7 seems hell-bent on making O-ring Joes in every way BUT in the right colors their paying customers want to buy (black BAT, black Baroness, black Snake Eyes). And I honestly don't get why Super7 just refuses to deliver the O-ring figures that'll be easy as shit for them to sell.
>>11559064>Most 25th and beyond molds must be rusting away in a chinese warehouse by now.As they should. They were stupid. The reissue vehicles like the Firebat and Tomahawk were the only good part to the 25th anniversary line. Over-articulating the figures themselves made them look too disjointed and ugly.
>>11559099
>>11559109Both figures are ugly albeit the left one makes the right one look halfway tolerable.
Hasbro is really smoking dick with these prices. it's a shame cause these are some of the only quality figures on the market.
This piece of shit is $45 tops, but the boomers will gladly blow their kids inheritance on it for $60 so why bother complaining?
>>11559099>>11559109What an idiotic comment, what a fucking shit taste. >Over-articulating the figures themselves made them look too disjointed and ugly. While posting an ugly o-nigr figure of a female that looks like a tranny, all boxy n shit that might as well be a playmobil...posing it next to one of the worst 25th molds. Even the new sculpt looks better than the old crap.>>11559109Yeah, they got better. What's your fucking point, idiot?>The reissue vehicles like the Firebat and Tomahawk were the only good part to the 25th anniversary line.God, how much more STUPID can you get?We got robbed of more of this, for a fair price. it will never cease to amaze me how the Joe community rolled over and took Chris Cocks’ six incher without a fight
>>11559109Here's what could be achieved at full capacity. Why didn't you post this? Oh, is it because it will shatter your whole argument?
>>11559121>Even the new sculpt looks better than the old crap.Rattler Baroness is the only version of Baroness that looks better than the original. And I admit it blows the original away. >God, how much more STUPID can you get?Chck the figure values now, then check the reissue vehicle values now. Which one held up better? >for a fair priceThe last Hasbro O-ring Joes were sold in 2-packs for $40. If thery had gone forward with the "Microman" Joes they wouldn't have been any cheaper.
>>11559130I didn't even see that one. It's new to me. It looks alright but it needs gloss on the body, and as typical that upper torso joint is ugly.
>>11559133>Rattler Baroness is the only version of Baroness that looks better than the original. And I admit it blows the original away.New sculpt era Baroness looks better than o-nigr baroness already in early 00's.>Chck the figure values now, then check the reissue vehicle values now. Which one held up better? What are you even arguing here? You said the firebat and eaglehawk were the only good vehicles of that era, while a simple search can prove you wrong. Pic related.>The last Hasbro O-ring Joes were sold in 2-packs for $40. If thery had gone forward with the "Microman" Joes they wouldn't have been any cheaper.True, they would probably be close to $20 but we would have more value for our money instead of being retarded and paying that for a 40yo design and engineering. Plus they did try single carded budget lines and it worked very good. Single figures with 3 or 4 at most colors and only a couple accesories.
>>11559153>You said the firebat and eaglehawk were the only good vehicles of that era, while a simple search can prove you wrong. Pic related.I said the reissue vehicles LIKE the Firebat and Tomahawk. Reading comprehension, bro? And I still believe that the reissue vehicles were the best part. Judging by current values, I'm not the only one. >>11559153>would have more value for our moneyMaybe. There comes a point where value for the high price is just not worth it. We're pretty much there now.
Is there any decent 1/12 civilian zombies that scale okay with Classified?
>>11559124Hasbro pretty much killed the 3.75 line with their retardation with the last couple of assortments. Reissuing the same fucking figures like Duke and Blowtorch and Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow rather than creating new mass retail releases of people like Dial Tone, Metalhead, Jinx, Captain Gridiron, Zarana, Wetsuit, Dr Mindbender, etc who were straight up impossible to get without sending half a grand a pop because they were convention exclusives or locked behind a super fucking hard to find box set only available online.
Reaction+ Tiger Force Duke has shown up at Target as a likely store exclusive completely unannounced. He appears to come with a backpack and for some reason a sword. I'm not fully aware of the deep lore on the sword, if it was something he used once or if it's intended to be a machete, or what? Super7 will sometimes do extremely obscure references.
>>115595891:18/SA
>>11558690>>11558789With all the stories about how bad the 1987 Golobulus figure was, and Hasbro deciding to stake the entire decision on whether to make any more Cobra-La toys on the sales of a three-pack of figures, does anyone have any facts or anecdotes on whether that pack sold THAT badly, or how the Renegades pack sold in comparison? I don't think they'd ever done any three packs before those, and I'm curious if the Joe pack did sell better. On that subject, with Mercer on the way, what are the odds on the other two Renegades following next year?
>>11559500There's a scene in one of the early cartoon mini-series where Duke and Snake-Eyes are forced to fight, and Duke uses some sort of glowing energy sword. That's the only thing I can think of.
I’m starting to think more and more that the Thunder Machine will be the 2016 HasLab.After the slow SnowCat campaign, Hasbro needs a sure fire Cobra vehicle that everyone and their mom will go for. What better than the Thunder Machine.Assuming the next year sees the release of a standalone Zanzibar. Maybe even a Zanya. Then everyone will be foaming at the mouth the complete their DREADNOKS lineup with Thrasher.Just have the tiers be mechanics Burnout and Heartwrencher. Instead of a bivouac, it’s a small garage setup for mechanics to soup up the TM.It’s a guaranteed campaign to be funded.By its release in 2027, it will be 3 years after the Transformers Soundwave/Thunder Machine collaboration.I bet this is what Hasbro is thinking right now.

I'm hoping you guys can help me out with something. I'm working on a custom fig, and I need a 1/12th scale head wearing a gas mask similar to the MSA Millennium model pictured. It doesn't have to exactly like it, the main aspect I want is that big, smooth faceplate. Something like a full face respirator might also workIf you guys know of a figure with a head like that, or maybe a third party that does an alternate head like it, please point me towards them.
>>11560412Google had 1.2 million results.
>>11560417Can you post one? Or just say that it has.
>>11560417I checked google, the only relevant result I found was a 2 year old reddit post asking the same thing, and the only answer was someone suggesting he check Valaverse stuff. I did look into Valaverse but they don't seem to have anything like it, the gas mask options I saw on their website had thing visors.
>>11560426>thing visors.thin visors. like the guy in the middle here. Not what I'm looking for
>>11560412Valaverse sold a head pack with a bunch of similar heads. You can remove the respirators, but that's it. The mask and helmet are glued in, but supposedly you can remove them and there's a full head and face underneath.
>>11560412Something like this eBay search? "Manipple Breaking Bad Walter White & Jesse Pinkman (Gas Mask) Accessories Fodder"
>>11560434oh shit, those are very close. I'd just need some blank heads to put in them
>>11560412The GI Joe Classified Legacy Firefighter comes with a removable mask that looks quite similar to that - and two interchangeable heads you can use it with.
>>11560464oh shit that's perfect! And the heads look just right and presumably will fit perfectly on Marvel Legends bodies.Ebay did have some promising options but they were all bendable rubber to fit over heads, so I was worried about how well they would hold up. Thanks guys! You've helped me figure out how to make the pervert action figure of my dreams!
>>11559742I'd like the Water Moccasin with Copperhead and a couple of Joes disguised as Cobra soldiers from the "Jungle Trap" episode. Do something that's never been done for the series, and like Japan used to do with some stuff, and make it "lucky draw" stuff where you don't know if you're getting Cobra troops or Joes disguised as Cobra troops until you unbox it.
>>11560473Glad to help, Anon.
>>11560046and based on Larry Hama in 'Nam, or at the least the original was.
>>11561932>make it "lucky draw" stuff where you don't know if you're getting Cobra troops or Joes disguised as Cobra troops until you unbox it.For a Haslab, that would be an absolutely awful idea. There shouldn't be a randomized element to a nearly $400 item.
holy shit, I went to Target for groceries, and this location has a terrible toy section, mostly bare pegs, but today they had a whole peg full of the firefighter! What are the odds that the only toy in history to have the mask I need is widely available at MSRP online and in stores at the exact moment I came up with the idea that required it. Truly, I am guided by the hand of fate.I don't know how many masks I'm going to want when all is said and done, but I could easily see it being up to a dozen. I already bought two, but I don't think I can go much further than that at 35 bucks a pop. I wonder how easy it would be to make a mold of the head with mask on and cast that as a single piece...
>>11562152It's the Water Moccasin. It's not that big and doesn't have a lot too it. The only reason why it's a viable candidate is because like the Skystriker, the Hydrofoil and the Whale are too big. That doesn't leave a lot of boat choices. There's no way it would be a $400 toy, and I don't see how it could be a $300 one.
>>11562256There just shouldn't be a random element, especially to a Haslab at any price. Moccasin is small enough that I couldn't imagine it even being more than something like the VAMP/Stinger. But they already gave us Copperhead anyway, so I am not sure what they would even do for a figure unless it came with a very slightly different version or just someone else.

And they wonder why they haven't turned a profit in years...
>>11562686>they wanted to focus on lesser known characters and variants of popular characters first.Which is stupid. Remember when Gentle Giant made 12" upscaled versions of the original Joes, and decided to start off with the 1982 ones? Well they'd still be making them now if they had the fucking brains to make the figrues the paying customers actually wanted because customers walked out on them while waiting for them to get through the 1982 catalog. >>11562822To be fair, they literally couldn't do anything with the more popular V2 Snake Eyes as the mold for it and a lot of other popular characters (like V1 CC and Destro) no longer exists and Hasnro doesn't want to recreate them.
>>11562686Super7's forever gives the line that they can't front load their license lines with the characters everyone wants. They have to do staggered releases to force people to support the line over multiple waves.
>>11563122Is it? They seem to be constantly pumping out new product every few weeks. They have some pretty big licenses, too. Then again, a LOT goes to clearance.
>>11563111Hasbro did produce new molds for V1 Cobra Commander, and they used it twice: once with the Haslab O-ring size Skystriker, and in retarded "cartoon colors" in a 2-pack with Duke. And that has nothing to do with Reaction+ anyway since they're doing all-new molds for classic figures.
oh goddamnit the Firefighter figure has some wird tiny proprietary neck hole, that head won't fit on anything else!
>>11563122All they have to do is deliver what customers are trying to give them money for. It's not hard to understand. Asking people to support the shit choices with the promises of eventually getting to other stuff is asking too much. There hasn't been a new O-ring version of the BAT and Snake Eyes in decades, and the thing is the ones they produced are actually good. They just need to get the fucking colors right instead of jacking people around.

>>11563335Skull Buster wasn’t in the original line.
>>11562822Which is new characters and not reissuesRight
>>11563539They were 12" versions of the originals. It was a cool idea, but Gentle Giant wanted to produce them in chronological order starting with 1982. The problem was NO ONE WANTED THAT SHIT. People wanted the characters that came after 1982. But Gentle Giant thought that if it stuck to the order then customers would buy while patiently waiting for them to get to the other stuff. That didn't happen. Sales were so poor that Gentle Giant never got around to being able to complete the 1982 catalog. All they had to do was produce the shit customers actually wanted. And that's where Reaction+ keeps fucking up. Their O-ring Snake Eyes and BAT really are good figures, and they did make a black BAT at least in the 5 POA format. They just need to get the colors right. But instead they're gonna do like Gentle Giant with shoveling out shit while assuming that the customers will buy it to keep the line going while eventually maybe getting around to what the customers actually fucking want.
>>11563335I'm a fan of the classic cartoons, so after Cold Slither my want list comes from said cartoons: -Cobrathon Baroness in black dress and Destro in a tuxedo-Countdown to doomsday Lady Jaye in Baroness disguise-various Joes disguised as various Cobra Troopers and Crimson guards-Phantom Brigade Roman soldier, Mongolian warrior, and WW1 pilot-Raven, the female Night Raven pilot

>>11563556I have high hopes still. Hasbro has done "fan service" figures with this line, as shown with Cold Slither, pimp-daddy Destro, and obscure ones like Glenda. so I still have high hopes of there still being a little bit more willingness to deliver fan service figures.
>>11563558More than likely they will.Since they surprised me with updates to Crystal Ball and Raptor, and Nemesis Enforcer..
>>11563563Crystal Ball is arguably one of the worst original figures in the 80s line, but the Classified one sold like wildwifre, and so did Cold Slither in spite of its high price tag. There's money in delivering fan service, and I hope Hasbro notices that and keeps it up.
>>11563567So there’s still a chance they give me Classified Canary Ann?
>>11563587We got Glenda and Quarrel, both from non-US lines, so it's entirely possible.

>>11563567Anything’s possible now.30 years ago I’d never thought we’d get pic related.
>>11563553I have that Snake Eyes. It's cool but it feels like shit to play with. The plastic is light and cheap compared to actual vintage. The only way I would double dip on a Super7 Snake Eyes would be if they made a 1:1 copy of v2 Snake Eyes. They won't do that though, it would make too much sense.
Bbts has crimson viper for 18 bucks if anyone wants to army build
>>11563716But it still feels like shit to handle. I would rather slowly piecemeal a fully thumbed vintage Joe than have a collection full of Joes made of Chinesium plastic.

>>11563708They can't make a 1:1 of version 2 since Hasbro wanted to do those Transformers sets, which may or may not see another set. All the Super7's have to be cartoon or comic based.
HL thunder machine tiers should be custom choppers for OG Noks
>>11563553They've been pumping out the waves pretty quick, I'd say the only mistake Super7's done with Reaction+, was making suited Tomax and Xamot an exclusive. That set is being scalped for $100+. Fatal Fluffy and Cobra Commander both sell for over $50 as well, and the first Cobra Commander is really hard to even find for sale. Demand's been building on the line. I've never even encountered it on pegs yet, and I regret not buying Fatal Fluffy when it was cheaper. I'm more chomping at the bit fir either Cobra Vipers or Troopers.
Reminder that the Thunder Machine was longer than the original HISS tank, just not as tall.
>>11563959Look man, I don't know what to tell you. Get any vintage Joe from 82-94 and compare it to a Slopper7 O-ring. You can literally feel the difference. Maybe the Chinese started putting some of their street oil in the plastic or something. Maybe it's some sort of green "save the environment" technology. All I know is: vintage plastic good, nu-retro plastic bad.
>>11564258Except that those sets are all but cancelled. There was a Optimus Prime MOBAT w/ Hawk (or was it Duke?) planned but they have been radio silent about it for like a year. There was never one planned that had Snake Eyes.
>>11564297Feels like the sizes don't even matter. In retrospect, the vintage HISS was pretty small compared to the figures. The Classified HISS is much better scaled (though it could have theoretically been bigger as a supposed "troop transport" since it only fits one guy in the back). And the Classified Snow Cat is waaaaaay bigger compared to the vintage Snow Cat against other comparable vehicles from that era.
>>11564381They've only been releasing like one of these a year, haven't they?

It's weird, and Vapor at least could be argued as some one of a kind enhanced cyborg pilot, but Decimator's just a driver with a helmet that lets him see in widescreen mode. Yep, everytime I see it on sale I have to talk myself out of getting another one because of space issues too. I skipped on the haslab mainly due to space this time, if I can't find room for the snow cat, there's no way I'd have room for a second stinger.

>>11566154>still hoping someone will pose Monkeywrench using his fork-gun to eat
>>11566259Something like this?
Small Crystal Ball restock on walmart website. Hopefuly they arent cancelled again.
>>11566112What are you talking about? There have been tons of the "figure with a pet/animal" sets, and they're in a completely different price bracket than the two actual figure packs.Besides, Walmart literally just had the Beachhead/Quick Kick two pack. And they've had numerous figure+animal sets. Hell, the Law and Order set was literally RIGHT next to the Beachhead/Quick Kick two pack.On top of that, we already know that the Ghost Viper is a Walmart exclusive, so you're guilty of three counts of retardation.
>>11566391Perhaps your Walmarts carry that shit, but around here that stuff may as well not even exist. *shrug*
It's up. Getting one and hope the pile up at Ollies and ROSS next year to get more later.

>>11566706>https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/279129Retailers getting desperate to get rid of these signals discount outlets getting them this holiday season. I'd wait. Amazon BF sale might even go lower.
>>11566718I just posted in case. I already got one when Amazon had it on sale like 4 months ago.
>>11566633>Nooooo it's getting cancelled because of California riots!Kek retard. Hasbro is based and anon is not.
>>11566633Well, it was nice to see it came out. I thought itd be cancelled for quite some time.
>>11566706>>11566718This thing will hit Ollies/Ross at $20 Unless the hyperinflation happens first but I don't think toys are going to be most people's concerns then.
>>11566769But they canceled the whole livestream to show case this fig anon. It was suppose to go on preorder with everything else that month, but it got canceled due to the ICE riots. Now that thing have cooled off and turns out lame stream media was just hyping shit up for views we can finally get these neat figs. Would be nice if the next GI Joe heroes figures come with lawnmowers and gardening tools.
>>11566706whats worse is they want use to believe the figure is worth 30 buck
>>11566292Something just like that. Well played.
>>11566819>It was suppose to go on preorder with everything else that monthSource?>But they canceled the whole livestream to show case this fig anonthey cancel half their streams
>>11566910Did you you just become a GI Joe collector this month anon? Pokemon cards not giving you the dopamine rush anymore or something?
>>11566927moron
>>11566633
>>11566633wtfThis looks like a marauders task force buck upscaled to 6in
>>11567241nah, this actually looks well proportioned
>>11566154Sometimes yes. Sometimes they're modernized versions that are off-base with the originals. The first Baroness, Major Bludd, and Tripwire come to mind.
>>11566154>>11567482This. Sometimes they do really good with the updates, but there have been duds. Looking at you, Slice.
https://www.target.com/p/g-i--joe-classified-series--181--ralph---8220-steeler--8221--pulaski---38--short-fuze/-/A-93565568
>>11567611Its sold out everywhere, but kind of interesting it was like 10 dollars more on pulse than target.
>>11567668I don't think Target got the memo on price changes, cause the Legends were normal priced as well
I think whenever Classified gets to Zanzibar they’re going to give him an exotic pet. Like a frigate bird or a Macaw.
>>11566633>sold outIt's going to be on Pulse, right?Right?
>>11567675Nah, big box stores can take the hit and sell thing lower that MSRP to attract customers. Hasbro is the MSRP so they have to be at that price.
>>11567861Yeah I guess that's why Walmart and Amazon increased their prices as well
>>11566633It's incredibly well-sculpted and everything, but I'd rather have a named character instead of a generic cop. But after this and the firefighter, it looks like Hasbro wants to toss in general servicemen.
>>11568010They've already been doing this for a while. They're in the same line as the generic action soldier, generic diver, etc.At any rate, it kind of helps there be generic background guys for the Joe side, since most of the characters are named, and there's shitloads of generic troopers and fodder guys on the Cobra side.
>>11568046Those are known as the "green shirts" that routinely showed up as extra background characters in the original cartoon. The problem is the new Steeler/Short Fuse pack look pretty much exactly like said generic green shirts.
>>11568103I know there are generic green shirts, and even other generic guys like the Steel Brigade troops, but there's not like a fucktillion different GI Joe troopers, and you could have the Cops/Swat guys hanging out with Law and Order/Mutt and Junkyard, or the Firemen hanging out Barbecue, etc.
Any Classified/3rd party figure come with a spotter scope?
>>11552579>mile long op of just repeated classified info>no super 7>no hiya
>>11568173No one gives a shit about Super7, though.
>>11568178I do so you're a retard.
>>11568169I got this in a dollar store generic swat police officer about a year ago. So they are out there.
And yes it's 1/12. Scales perfect with Classified. Aside from dollar store hunting, your best bet is Etsy or Gridiron studios.
>>11567821I like this idea. Do you think they'll make his Air Skiff or just make him a single figure?>>11568103That's a general problem with a lot of the original 1982 Joes. There's a reason Snake Eyes and Scarlett stood out from all the green army men and became the popular characters, and characters like Hawk or Rock & Roll have second figures with more popular designs.
>>11568178I do. They're so very close to getting the O-ring Joes right
>>11568475From what I've seen in the cartoon, Zap is the most commonly referred-to greenshirt they reference. Then in "Worlds Without End" Clutch, Grunt, and Steeler are outright dumped ito a parallel universe to get rid of them. those three generic "greenshirts."
>>11568183>>11568483Go to the Super7 thread then.
>>11568475They aren’t doing any water vehicles for classified now. So probably just the figure.
>>11568683And I want the Water Mocassin so damn badly. When given Hasbro's reluctance to do too-large vehicles even for Haslab, it really is our best option for getting a Classified boat.
>>11568651this is the gi joe thread you retard
>>11568844And it's auto-saging now. So can someone make a new one please?
The next female Cobra?Heartwrencher
>>11568685How about the Devilfish for the Joes? It's an even smaller boat.>>11569037>Dreadnok OC from the Devil's Due comicsI think they may be running out of options for female villains who aren't comic OCs or convention-exclusive characters, so I'm OK with this, but there'll probably be some pushback from guys who hated that era.
>>11569254>How about the Devilfish for the Joes? It's an even smaller boat.Devilfish, Hydro-Sled, Night Landing, Zartan's Swamp Skier, and Water Mocassin. That's about it for our boat choices. >I think they may be running out of options for female villains who aren't comic OCs or convention-exclusive charactersThere's still Raven the Night Raven pilot, and variants of established characters. The Rattler Baroness is the OG Baroness underneath the flight gear. Hasbro just needs to reissue her in the correct color. Plus technically Hasbro never delivered the original black battle armor Baroness, and gave us a "modern update" that really wasn't any good. Personally I'd like a gray or black cartoon Baroness with Lady Jaye swappable head for the "Last Hour to Doomsday" episode.
>>11569037>>11569254She was part of the leaks for this year, and we know they've pushed some things from those leaks to next year for stupid reasons (flash). So I'm 90% sure we're getting her next eyar. Whether she's the next female, or a Blue baroness is next is up in the air, but I think they're a safe 1 and 2 bet.
Cobra females left:Retro blue BaronessRetro ZaranaSkybound ChameleonHeartwrencherZanyaDr KnoxStiletto?Crimson AspMunitiaMara (female Hydro-Viper)Ivy (female Range-Viper)Raven (female Strato-Viper)Lady Boa (female Big Boa)Mistress ArmadaUndertow Officer Azinza (she’s female)Nightstalker Commander Bristow (she’s female)
>>11569466>Retro ZaranaThe Zarana we did get was pretty much spot-on with the original in every way except for the lack of color changing in sunlight. The face is a bit cartoony, though. Mara and Raven would definitely be great additions.
>>11569479Sorry, I meant to say retro Vypra.Or non-Python Patrol Vypra.
>>11569315Zanzibar’s air skiff?
>>11569254The only non comic OC’s or non convention OC’s cobra females left are cartoon females OC’s.
>>11569552We got Cold Slither, and the Snowcat comes with very cartoon-looking Lady Jaye and Flint. Digging into the cartoon is an excellent way to keep the line going.
>>11568475I would love to see him come with the Skiff but I feel he isn't a big enough name to warrant being packed with such a niches vehicle. It is small enough to into one of them smaller vehicle packs though, but we haven't even seen something as cool as the Dreadnok Cycle, and that's way more iconic (and army buildable) than the lawnchair of doom. But still, I would love to see it happen and would grab one myself if it did. >>11568683>>11568685The crazy thing about this is that Fortnite boat they randomly put out is very much similarly sized to what a Classified Water Moccasin could be. It was also really well made with tons of details and great paint apps, and was sturdy as hell. It's certainly worth looking into because even if they do drop a Moccasin, that boat could be the Joe's answer to it, and if they don't drop one, it could easily work as a replacement for Copperhead. >>11569254I'm sure the three people who'd be upset at her being released in Classified will be utterly devastated, so it'll fall on the other 99% of collectors following the line to pick her up instead. But seriously, they can (and have) made literal "whos?" in this line, but because the figures are just that damn good, they usually sell regardless. I want all of these. Except Retro Zarana....because the first release was already that. Not saying they shouldn't make one for those who want her on a Retro card, just saying she'd be an easy skip for me. Also, Raven should come with the Cobra Jet Pack, since they'll never actually do a modern Nightraven for her.
>>11569558So cartoons OC’s like this guy said >>11569466a Mara Hydro-Vipera Raven Strato Viper (Super 7 has one)an Evy purple Range Viper
>>11569572I meant to say Retro Vypra instead of Retro Zarana. But I wouldn’t be surprised if they made a Python Patrol Zarana like they did Vypra.
>>11569479I suppose they could do a re-release of Zarana in her color scheme from the DiC cartoon.
>>11569593Zarana's somehow one of the really cheap ones. Just apply green paint to her top, and done.
>>11569600Didn’t Baroness, Lady Jaye and Scarlett have DiC versions too?
>>11569642Yes, and Super7 already beat them to it.
>>11569657Super7 also made Python Patrol CoBra Commander, Destro, and Baroness. They also made Tiger Force Scarlett. I’d be surprised if Classified made those.
>>11568173Anything GI Joe belongs HERE
Speaking of Super7, do you think they’ll ever make a figure of the Cobra Submarine Commander that appeared once? She doesn’t even have a name but I like her.I don’t Classified would ever make her.
>>11569891Lady Hiss driver limbs on a Valk body.
>>11569600
>>11569891That terrible Cover Girl head would actually work for her.
