looks like BFS is loading up another spooky season salei think i've had my fill of the skeletons, hoping they put some court of the dead stuff on sale
Whyis M&C toys not selling shit on their website? It just says "available soon"I want an SU27 and a couple J10 planes plus some other stuff.
>>11580041>>11580043>>11580526All the cool kids use this rifle. anyone know what happens if I backed the Vietnam Kickstarter and didn't ask for the refund or store credit or whatever it was?
I wish there were some way to get midcentury warplanes without being bent over to pay eBay prices on old Ultimate Soldier stuffalso does anyone know of any WWI/barnstormerish biplanes in 1:18 scale? I was going to get the Jakks Sonic plane but it's too small. I don't mind a cartoony or exagerrated look, I just want some Sky Pirates planes for my BFS Phantom figures
>>11581697>I wish there were some way to get midcentury warplanes without being bent over to pay eBay prices on old Ultimate Soldier stuff> remembers when 21st went under, and Monkey Depot was blowing out CASES of vehicles.I wish I had picked up a Nork livery MiG-15bis.Anyhoo, to the second part, there isn't much for pre-war stuff. One of the earlier, non-Jakks Sonic planes should work with 1:18 figures, though. There is a roughly 1:18 (wings are a couple inches short) Curtiss Jenny out there. It was one of those things Hobby Lobby used to carry. It's made by Jayland, if you want to run one down. Finally, and while not a biplane, Pegasus Hobbies did a prebuilt Gee Bee Z racer in 1:18, but they tend to be kind of hard to find on the secondary.
>>11579869Did the Nam stuff finally drop?
>>11582564Only the four figures, 6 if you count the two WWII figures from the KS that got released a few months back.
>>11582588Cool, thanks. Why can't I find the Nam figures on the website?
>>11582564>>11582588Nevermind, I'm retarded. Found them
>>11581730Thanks!
>>11582673Happy hunting!
ARW is making drop ships and PVG is finally making their astronauts and samurai girls.
>>11582863 I remember when the estimate for the astronauts was $30-35.U.S. I bet they are now $50 at the least.
>>11582863I bet this shit is like $200 + tipMake realistic looking 1:18 vehicles Affordable Again!
>>11579869The washes make the ODs look like they have camo. I don't like how they look at all.
>>11582863The space girls look cool
>>11583295It's the light.
BFS just previewed their Conan line and it's 1/12th. When people complained, Paddy slapped out hands: >there's not enough people buying modern 4 >inch to sustain a licenced figure line. When >you have to pay a licence holder some cash >upfront and a percentage based royalty on top >of development and tooling costs, you have to >go where the consumers are, and that's six >inch.
>>11583805Great, another company folding to idiotic low-IQ pighand crowd.Well enjoy your overpriced dolls, 3-figure """"army"""" building and crowdfunded $200 vehicles.
>>11583805So what about all the other non-licensed shit they have made for 6" but not 4"? Fuck this company.
>>11583888>>11584068Why would they or any company turn down additional money? If the margins on 6" figures are better and they sell more, why wouldn't a company choose that over 4" figures?
First or second? Which one should I go with? I'm actually feeling like the 2nd one is better (ignore the lack of neck, the 3d print head was meant for a lego minifigure and you can actually see the neck if i add hotglue in the head's hole.
>>11584076They can, but they have to stop claiming to be collectors and part of the community.
>>11583805Remember when boss fight used all the sculpts they did for a customer and made the figures themselves undercutting the customer?
>>11584174zombie lab?
>>11584178>>11584174Yup.
>>11584104Yeah go with the 2nd one as the vest though not super accurate is bulkier you can always add the crotch plate from the Pit Trooper Vest or some sort of thicker soft goods if you want to be able to make the figure sit.And the 4 Marauder geared up Vietnam figures have gone live on the store, I just grabbed the basic G.I as I want to use him to make a Adventure Team Joe Colton
>>11584199always when I'm out of money... damnI hope they last until december because I need to get some other shit too on my list.
>>11584199hope Marauders does black GI fatigues so we can customize some SOG teams.
>>11584199the one on the left honestly looks like shit
>>11584199They should have kept the damn kickstarter all in.
>>11584259do you think they over did the creases and folds?>>11584280what do you mean?
>>11582863Oh that's gonna be stupid expensive. Is that a new mech? It looks too small to be a Laurel, though I can't say I have one at hand right now to judge it's size. >>11583275I'm still trying to squeeze one of them Warhammer tanks into my budget, this damn thing is probably gonna be impossible for me to buy. The only consolation is I know that'll it'll get re-released in a half dozen different colors and load outs, and each one will look nicer then the last. So waiting it out would probably end up with me being able to get a better one then the initial release. Though I do love how it's basically just a giant box with opening flaps. It's such a simple and easy concept to make a transport that's large but mostly empty space, and yet so few companies actually bother doing it. They'll make big empty vehicles, but the space will be closed off and unfinished, when just a few details would be all that's needed to make it an awesome toy. >>11583888Are you literally complaining about expensive vehicles for 1:12 when >>11582863 just announced and half the figures in the ARW line are $40-80 a pop? >>11584104While the first one looks more "accurate", the second one just looks cooler. >>11584199Thanks for the heads up. I still have all my store credit from the KS but haven't even looked at what I wanted from their site. I honestly don't even remember what I ordered from the KS at this point. Sadly my 1:18 stuff has been seeing lower priority due to lack of space to really play with em and the back log of stuff I built up makes me hesitate to buy any more at the moment. Still nice to see these things finally coming out for those that really want them.
>>11583888Honestly, I don't hate 1/12th. It just doesn't fit in my collection. >>11584173Yeah. They're attitude reminds me of the bigger companies telling us what we can't have. I also wonder about all the other companies that make 1/12th and if BFS will get lost in the shuffle.
I'm building a team...
