>>11598030I may actually get this one. Not sure when ML will get to this look.
>>11598066Sooner rather than later really. It's only a matter of time. I imagine they'll be releasing a wave with him in it in 2026. The timing seems to add up with the movie's release to then.
Oh heckin' boy! Another Disney's™ Fox's™ Marvel's™ X-men's™ Wolverine™ from the hit slopbuster Deadpool™ vs. Wolverine™! I'm going to tell my wife's boyfriend right now!
>>11598125It will never not be weird to me just how upset some of you get at something no one is forcing you to buy merely existing. Holy shit.
>>11598159i think that anon just thinks Deadpool is reddit coded so anyone hyped for it must be a reddit liberal cuck. He’s wrong and I will be getting this version.
>>11598238I mean, that's basically what I said. Just without buzzwords.
>>11598077Maybe. Everything being so fucky now doesn't help.
I can't decide if I want to order this fucker or not. It's GREAT looking, but I'm wondering how well it'll fit with just comic X-Men. It's not really that animated looking...other than the, you know, animated-specific design of it...
>>11598300A lot of the X-Men 97 fits in just fine with your comic stuff. There are a few that stick out, Morph and Logan because of their jackets, Cable a bit because of the lack of detailing on his pouches, but a lot of them really fit in just fine. If you're good with him being fuck huge, I'd say go for it, the new Poccy looks really good.
>>11598300>It's GREAT lookingWhy does anyone describe a render as looking great as if it has bearing on the final product? A render tells you almost nothing about how good the final figure will look. They could miscolor all the plastics, screw up the finishes by mixing them improperly, have a totally different headsculpt, have barely any nonessential paint, even have pins like the 97 sentinel. All a render tells you is that you will get a vaguely Apocalypse shaped figure with specific accessories. You cannot judge something based on a render.
>>11598399NTA but they showed off a sample at NYCC in the X-Men display they set up. Granted it could change from now to release, but we have seem pictures of a physical figure.
>>11598406Ok that makes it a bit better if going off that then
>>11598300other than the head, the sculpt isn't as cartoony as the other new molded 97 figures, makes me think they plan to do something else with this body afterwards.
>>11598512I'm not sure about that, though it's still too early to say on these made to order figures.
Do you guys really not keep up with toy show pics and news?
>>11598622I do somewhat but it is a bit difficult given the tons of weird import brands that even have their own toy shows now
>>11598622This. If you're coming here to argue about toys with strangers, I have to assume you're interested enough to follow at least major reveals like fucking Comic Con. But the amount of ignorance here is unreal. You have posts like >>11598399 sperging out about something he doesn't even know about. Like, the pictures of the sample figure in the big display were posted two fucking threads ago. It's like the same mongoloids who always ask when something goes up for pre order when all they have to do is scroll up and read. Why are so many of you fucking stupid?
>>11598709It's because the pic posted was of a render and not the real figure
>>11598711Nooo, that's actually the real figure. You can see imperfections on the arm like plastic rub.
>>11598711But there was a picture of the real, physical thing posted like a thread or two ago. No fucking excuse to being this ignorant. It's getting old having to chew you idiots out like I'm your dad. I've been having to do it all goddamn day.
>>11598714Also this. I do think that looks to be an actual photo. It doesn't reall6 look like their renders.
>>11598715Pretty sure if a guy posts a pic of a render talking about how great the figure looks, he's talking about the render image and not the real image posted elsewhere by someone else
>>11599134That image isn't even a render though. You're sperging out about nothing. Stop.
>>11599134We just went over this
>>11599137This >>11598300Is a render
>>11599239It's not, you can see that it's not. It's a photoshopped image, for sure, but that's a real figure.
>>11599239Like >>11599243 says, it's definitely photoshopped to a heavy extent, but it's definitely an image a physical figure. Look on his arm, you can see a blemish on the plastic.
Tis the season fellas, check those ROSS stores!
>>11599342
>>11599342>>11599345Neat. I need to go get a haircut soon anyway and Ross is right next door. Coolio
>>11599342I kind of want that Spidey. Damn.
>>11599345I guess we're never getting a comic version huh?
Oh, ok I get it now.
got that one black widow that has a really fucking good scarjo face sculpt but god awful, re-used 10 year old legs
now i just need to wait for the retro dr. doom to arrive and i'll be done with the marvel niggas i wanted, until they make an x-men 97 psylocke with the gamerverse body but a cartoon face
>>11599937Spidey dance magic
>>11599932I spent months hunting that bitch and those ankle joints were my reward.
>>11599745I assume this is a custom?
>>11600018She rotted at my local stores for months lmao. I hope you didn't spend too much on gas.
>>11599947?>>11600018here in my shithole i only ever saw one at walmart and didn't have the money back theni had no clue she was just a 2014 figure with shitty legs but an actually good headsculpt (that i can't swap because it seems mine has a stiff as hell head joint)
I am marginally butthurt I paid full price
>>11600392I'll be the first today I thought it was worth full price, but goddamn $10 is a fucking steal. Shame it didn't sell super well.
Hellfire Gala Spider-Man is going to pegwarm, isn't he?
>>11600502Yeah, I'm waiting for him to go on sale. I'm not paying full price for him and I get almost every Spidey.
>>11599745God I wish
>>11600668Thirty bucks a figure is not a very comfortable reason to get Spidey variants these days.
>>11601022Depends on the variant. A variant from the mutants homosexual (moreso) version of the Met Gala? No thanks lmao. I mean, I paid revo prices for AY Iron Spider.
>>11601022Honestly, if they're going to start putting out figures of the same quality as the Born Again figures, then I'd be alright paying $30. Both figures are really good articulation wise, have good paint apps, only downside is that Frank is missing a rifle, although rewatching his scenes from the show, he only ever uses a pistol, his knife, and the hatchet, so I guess it's accurate. Still, they should've included one. But for real, if we start getting figures with the articulation that we got from the new Frank and Matt, and I'll pay $30 no problem.
>>11601141The Born Again Frank copies Mcfarlane style (of all things) pseudobutterfly joints and ballpeg at the chest, although the head/neck articulation is nice. From what I'm seeing there's nothing exceptional that warrants $30 though.
>>11601190The shoulders are similar to McFarlane yes, but imports have been doing those style shoulders for years before Todd did so it's kind of a moot point. The Born Again figures definitely feel a step above normal Legends imo. Just ad a ball waist and you'd be pretty much golden.
>>11601228The head and neck are a step above for sure, they're GI Joe Classified style. And yeah they need a ball waist rather than swivel
>>11601262If Legends keep moving in this direction I won't have an issue with higher prices. But we know that will be so gradual, that when they finally do phase over to these better figures, they'll be outdated themselves lmao.
Is there a way to fix the torso motion on the new Juggernaut? I want to use the joint but don't want to snap it
Will she stand this time?
>>11601529Learn to pose
>>11601547Are you retarded? That's a product shit, it's not even a photo. It's a render.
It's like poetry, it rhymes.
>>11601588Damn
To this day I can never buy the windowless packaging figures off ebay, even at heavy discounts, because there's no proof there's anything inside it. I'd sooner buy the figure loose. Man whoever came up with that at Hasbro was a lunatic.
All New and All Different. Been waiting for the new Cyke to finally set them all up together.
>>11601638The new Jean is such an improvement compared to the old one, holy shit. I was originally kind of annoyed that I had to get a new Marvel Girl but the old one is so shit, that I'm ok with it now.
>>11601529Bitch like this is made for kneeling
>>11601588We've found the next OP image.
>>11601657No
>>11599745>Hasbro figures if the company was good
>>11601682>And if each figure cost $150
>>11601638This will always be the best X-Men lineup. Don't care what anyone says.
>>11601688B-but muh basement management!!!
>>11601588fuck, i actually laughed out loud.He Who Remains on the Shelf
>>11601953Didn't wolverine have his brown costume in that era?
>>11601631I'm surprised they lasted as long as they did. Goodsmile tried it with Nendoroid and they got slapped down immediately.
>>11602044He initially wore the tiger stripe costume during that era but switched part way through to the brown and tan suit because John Byrne just felt like giving him a new costume.
Anyone else get their Inhuman order in. Shame Karnac is trash, but at least we have him. Looking forward to displaying them all along with Crystal and Lockjaw!!>>11601638Congrats! It felt so good to finally get classic Cyclops! The effect is also awesome!
>>11602056Huh, I always assumed it was the other way around. Probably the cartoon fucking with my head.
>>11602186Not that anon, but the original x-men that started in 1963 (cyke, jean, bobby, hank, warren) went on hiatus for 5 years (70-75) and when it came back in giant size it featured a new team which included wolverine in his original tiger stipe costume. Wolverine didn't get his brown suit until #139 in 1980 and we didn't really see the old tigerstripe again until jim Lee brought it back in the 90's (just prior to TAS, which was what all those designs were based off).
>>11602186Yeah, he originally wore the Tiger Stripe costume with the whiskers during his first appearance when he fought the Hulk. Then when he returned for Giant Sized X-Men #1 Dave Cockrum ended up drawing the mask the way we see it today because he copied Gil Kane, who fucked up the original whisker design when he drew the cover, and it just stuck. He wore that iteration of the costume until John Byrne swapped it in UXM #139 again, just because he felt like giving Wolverine a new costume. He wore that again until Jim Lee swapped him back to a slightly updated version of the Tiger Stripe in the 90s which he wore until the black leather look from New X-Men before swapping to the Astonishing costume and wearing variations of that suit through the rest of the 2000s and 2010s until he died and was brought back to life. The figure in >>11601638 is actually more accurate to Giant Sized X-Men #1 than any other version of the Tiger Stripe costume that Hasbro, and any other company put out. This one is from the 80th anniversary 2 pack with the Hulk but head swapped with the Love Triangle 3 pack head. It uses the thinner shoulder pads and just a standard belt, whereas every other version that is out has the X styled belt and wider shoulder pads that Jim Lee used in the 90s.
>>11601638As much as I like having this cyclops, I still feel it'll only be a placeholder until an eventual definitive version comes.
