>>11611682Hasbro finally released an official BNWO figure. Everyone will surely be very normal about this.
>>11611714I want him and know nothing about the character. But also know he's going to hit bargain bins so I can wait.
>>11611731Yeah, he looks cool af when you think about the scenes you could place him but ive been burned on d listers before so i too will wait. The orb is the only d list guy i didnt regret paying full msrp for.
>>11611748This, the people who don't like Hypno Hustler are casuals and faggots who are too insecure with themselves.
>>11611763What's the deal with the green things on his feet? Seems like such an afterthought or trying to riff on Tarantula.
>>11611763I like Hypno Hustler. However I don’t like the 2015 articulation they are using. Another sloppy release unfortunately.
>>11611769>collects Marvel>can't be bothered to pick up a comic bookMany such cases
>>11611799You really expecting Hypno Hustler of all characters to get an updated mold? Come on now. Also that mold is from 2018 to be fair.
>>11611748Plenty of sales on the Orb anyway so could have waited. I will be waiting on most MLs now that Hasbro went above 25
>>11611682I can't believe they were dumb enough to send this wave to all retailers. It's a very niche wave.
>pod 2099 and venom wars black suitSo these will be my first ml/american figures, im guessing these are just retooled molds?
>>11611840Spider-Man Retro waves always go to all retailers. It's not base don what is actually in the wave.
>>11611840Speed Demon all over again
>>11611682I'm getting Cardiac, and I also want Hypno-Hustler and the Owl, but>$28My gosh I can't justify that. I'll probably a least get Hypno-Hustler later. I hope he isn't hard to get later. The ones I skip are usually the ones that are hard to get later.
>>11611874I don't imagine this wave being difficult to get. Hypno Hustler will almost guarantee hit discount prices. Only ones I don't see hitting are 2099 and maybe Owl.
>>11611816Anon, I'm just asking because if they're removable, wil they leave an awkward hole in the toe? The guitar pose seems to indicate that.
>>11611884Go look at promo pictures yourself if you're curious. Not sure why you need someone to tell you that. Stop needing to be hand held you loser.
>>11611874This wave is a wide release. You can play clearance chicken.
>>11611884>wil they leave an awkward hole in the toe?Yes. I don't know why the other anon is being so zesty about it.
>>11611876When did Owl become beloved
>>11611930I could see Owl selling out because he's a popular Daredevil villain and we don't get too many of those. Cardiac also has sellout potential just because it's a "never ever" kind of figure due to the licensing and legality in using him. Similar to Rom.
>>11611682I've kinda wanted a Hypno Hustler fig for a bit, but only because of his bittersweet cameo in Reign. Surprised he actually got a fig, but I suppose they would do him eventually. I'll definitely wait for clearance to hit though, we all know it'll happen.
>>11611885>>11611915... thanks, /toy/.
>>11611915You can literally google it yourself in less time than it would take for someone on this slow ass board to respond. It's absolutely weird to not just Google it yourself. Lazy as fuck too.
>>11611934I'm clearly not everyone in the world but I knew about the Rom shit since the 90s thanks to Wizard Magazine but I uh... never knew anything about Cardiac. Feels more like something you had to dig to know about unless you're like a poster here where there was some guy always wishing they'd make him in threads.
Hey, /toy/, why does Cardiac have legal issues?
>>11612008>www.google.com
>>11612008Eric Larson something something Marvel
>>11612006>>11612008He's making shit up and possibly confusing characters. The only issue with Cardiac is that Erik Larsen straight up hated the character but he was a pet character/creation of David Michelinie, resulting in the character being put in the "only the comic creator can use him" pile, especially after writers like Dan Slott completely ignored Michelinie's portrayal of him combined with him being obscure due to him not being in any media adaptations. The black character who Marvel can't use or make merch of anymore is Young Avengers Patriot, who is the grandson of Isaiah Bradley from the Captain America. Robert Moralez, Bradley's creator and editor of Vibe Magazine, had an under the table deal with Bill Jemas that Joe Quesada didn't know about where Isaiah couldn't be used by anyone at Marvel save him and that Truth couldn't get sequels or incorporated into the larger Marvel Universe. Nono e told Allen Heinburg this when he made Young Avengers so he made Patriot Isaiah's grandson or Grant Morrison, who cryptically referenced Isaiah as "Weapon Zero" along with Steve Rogers and Nuke being part of the "Weapon Plus" project along with Wolverine. Morales threatened lawsuits and after Heinberg left Young Avengers, a deal was struck by Quesada to permanently retire Patriot in exchange for Marvel cutting a new deal with Morales to let them incorporate Isaiah into Marvel lore and use him in movie adaptations
>>11611934>it's a "never ever" kind of figure due to the licensing and legality in using him.Oh Lord its this fucking ass-pull bullshit again. Cite ONE fucking legitimate (i.e. not rumor-mongering clickbait) source.
Hey, if Marvel has the rights to use Capcom's Punisher arcade game look, why do they alter the game art and not make mention of the game on the box?
>>11611930>When did Owl become beloved>Line is literally called Marvel LEGENDS>Owl has been around since 1964's Daredevil #3>Never had a figureGod, you children are so fucking stupid. The Owl is definitely more "Legendary" than The Rose.
>>11612043>DEAR ANONs>I'M SUCH A MARK, I TRUST YOU GUYS TO NOT BULLSHIT ME, INSTEAD OF ASKING SOMEONE AT HASBRONGMIWell, since my dad works at Capcom, the reason is its just to piss you off.
>>11612046Okay retard I forgot all the legendary Owl stories that would make him a figure that will sell out instantly
>>11612043It's been said before; they own the character designs from the games, they just can't mention the games outright in the branding and packaging. >>11612046The Owl is an infamous mort of the month villain, so much so that when Bob Layton tried to make him the big bad of X-Factor, he got fired and replaced with Louise Simonson, who promptly created Apocalypse as a replacement big bad. The only thing Owl has over Rose, is that Owl's history is pretty straight forward whereas Rose is a clusterfuck of multiple people under the mask and in the case of Blood Rose, a non-sensible retcon that made that period of the character's lore make zero fucking sense.
>>11612051I think Owl getting a figure is more Hasbro wanting to give Daredevil fans a bone by making a figure out of a guy who pretty much is the only one of his pre-Miller villains who has retained popularity and had a moderately high profile in his book, without resulting in a ton of convoluted multiple people in the role like Mr Fear and Jester, who have multiple people under their masks to the point that their backstories and lore are a fucking mess.
>>11612056Kingpin? :/
>>11612051>Doesn't know jack shit>Everyone else is the retard somehowEvery time. Such an angry child.Oh, but...YOU don't know, therefore that somehow translates to everyone else, huh?
>>11612056I'm still waiting on Gladiator (DD's version, NOT the X-Men version for the non-comic plebs in here)
>>11612056Typhoid Mary is who I really want
>>11612056We need another Typhoid Mary.
>>11612070>>11612071lol
>>11612074Nice. I've been using Zarana with Typhoid's head as a stand in
>>11612065I'm shocked they didn't make him when they made Whirlwind, given that Whirlwind's body is perfect for usage as a base for Gladiator DD version.
>>11612071Sure, why not>>11612113Gladiator probably got bumped
I went to my local comic shop and found they had put out a collection of Marvel toys they had bought recently. Among the collection was a bunch of Marvel Universe 3.75 three packs, including one of my holy grails from the line: the Rogue/Wolverine/Longshot three pack with the Jim Lee Rogue who is the only one of the two MU Rogues that has a non-garbage looking head sculpts. Never saw it at retail (IIRC it was either a Toys R Us or Target exclusive) and more to the point, he had it for sale for $40; which was huge as the pack usually goes for $70-100 and the Rogue herself going for around the same amount loose!
>>11612124I forgot how tiny and slim Marvel Universe female characters are. The sculpt is great, especially the head. However, I do wish they had given her at least one open hand instead of two fists.
>>11612129But the real suprise in the set was Longshot. Of the three figures, this one has the most attention given to the sculpt and it's quality is high, nearly on par with the then modern GI Joe 25th Anniversary era figures. Sadly the only accessory he has is his carry bag; no throwing knives. On the plus side though, they didn't stick him with a repaint of the Bullseye figure's hand with playing cards in it.
>>11612134Finally we have Wolverine: I have the Secret Wars brown suit and one of the reasons I didn't buy the set when it first came out (besides the hope that Rogue would get a solo card release) was that I didn't want to get stuck with a second Wolverine. But it does have some interesting differences from the SW Wolverine.
>>11612124Jesus, these aged like milk.
>>11612136Besides coming with a darker brown costume color, the biggest change is the claws. The SW Wolverine has spaces between the claws but the three pack version has a tiny bit of black plastic between the claws, ensuring they don't bend or warp. The three pack also has a frowny face snarl while SW Wolverine has a more neutral expression. And the three pack has a closed fist where the SW Wolverine has an open hand for holding things
>>11612124>>11612129>>11612134>>11612153This pack was always retarded because it serves no one Rogue is in her Jim Lee outfit, which she never wore when she and Longshot were on the team together. Wolverine really shouldn't have been there and instead we should have gotten a proper Gambit (the only MU Gambit figure we ever got was him in his Xtreme X-Men costume of all things), since then they could at least handwaved the Rogue/Longshot issue by saying it was based on Jim Lee's final X-Men story. The whole multi-packs were a great example of hostage multi-packs: >>Want Invisible Woman to go with the Fantastic Four members you got to go with the single card Ben and Johnny and the Secret Wars Reed? Got to buy a fucking three pack and she's in a costume utterly incompatible with the solo/two pack releases! >>Want Jim Lee Rogue? Got to buy a three pack with an extra Wolverine no one wants! >>Want Emma Frost? Got to buy a multi-pack with another Astonishing Cyclops and a freakish Juggernaut/Colossus hybrid! >>Want Mockingbird? Buy a three pack with another War Machine and a Hawkeye who wears gloves!
>>11612156At least you could complete the FF in some fashion. Outside a vague classic hodgepodge of classic Avengers and West Coast Avengers and the Hickman FF, you could not complete a single X-Men team with the MU line.
I have a shoebox full of Marvel Universe figures and some old school Toy Biz 5 inch figures that scaled with them (Holocaust, Onslaught, Apocalypse, Titanium Man). Always wanted to track down a Mojo from the 90s line, as I lost nearly all of my Mojo's spider legs. Really sad that they skipped a lot of key characters. It's still insane we never got a Polaris to go with Havok or a proper Eddie Brock Venom and Carnage.
How would you play Thanos and Mr Sinister interacting? I could see Mr Sinister forging and alliance with Thanos for alien cloning tech while Thanos wants to get his hands on Wolverine for his adamantiun skeleton.
>>11612181Thanos needs Sinister to save Adam Warlocks life when his body starts to break down, due to Adam being a test tube creation.
Anyone else buy the Marvel Universe Infinity rebrand of the Marvel Universe line? I only bought two of them and the lack of wrist articulation is insulting especially given that they upped the freaking ankle articulation
>>11612204There were some decent figures there including a reissue of the SDCC Tiger Shark, Grim Reaper, Classic Beast, Thunder strike, Rage, DnA Star Lord and Rocket Racoon, Death's Head, Wasp, Yellowjacket, Hercules, and YMMV John Romita Jr Rogue. It's a shame it came about during the infamous X-Men/FF merch embargo though I suppose we were lucky to get Beast and Rogue. Maybe some more X-Men deep cuts could have kept the line alive
>>11612204I liked the series, until the rebranding where they made it not good anymore. I think they fired that one good sculptor around that time too. The sculpts really took a nose dive.I kept a few, like >>11612181 this Thanos I'll always consider a good figure.
Why did Marvel go back to 1/12 from 1/18?
>>11612181Why would Thanos want adamantium?>>11612204the loss of torso articulation is the biggest bullshit. you can live just fine without wrist and ankle articulation, because that's how it was for hundreds of years on toys, but no waist? That's how you knew that Hasbro was giving the middle finger to every collector who didn't want to switch over to 1:12 scale.>>11612509$19.99 is a bigger number than $8.99, which was the price of 1:12 and 1:18 figures at the time.Hasbro was trying to buy up media companies during that time, so they were trying to move their customer base into buying more expensive options to pay for their acquisitions. Marvel Legends was brought back, Black series was created, and then Hub's failure made them hard up for an influx of cash. And now since a company can't make less money than it did the years before (because shareholders demand numbers always go up) Hasbro refuses to switch back to smaller scales because they'd lose 50% of their revenue due to toys inflating in cost and the current economic depression.
>>11612527As it is they had to keep 3.75 for Star Wars because of the vocal demand for it, and even then they treat it like the redheaded stepchild of the line even though 3.75 was their bread and butter for decades.
>>11612527>$19.99 is a bigger number than $8.99, which was the price of 1:12 and 1:18 figures at the time. This fucking retard doesn't know a goddamn thing. 1/18 were up to $16 when the line was cancelled while ML were still $20. They debuted at $8.99, they sure as hell didn't end at $8.99. This board is full of autistic reddit-tier retards who always think it's their "time to shine" while getting everything factually WRONG.
>>11612527Why did they move to 1/18 in the first place then if line must always go up rather than remaining with 1/12?
>>11612622Hasbro's initial ML line was not that popular combined with gas prices being Skydance high in the mid 00s, meant smaller toys were cheaper to produce and basically let them reboot the property given that not a lot of people liked their Marvel Legends figures
>>11612640So it appears the holy scale only became holy in 2012. Quite recent indeed.
How not to make an action figure headsculpt, by Hasbro.
They'll make every sentinel and mech robot in marvel history before they make the one everyone wants
>>11612751Eh, I was close. Here you go!(Previous pic still probably applies somewhere in Hasbro's ESG/DEI division)
>>11612751>>11612755>Whining about MvC againHow many times you gotta do this autismo? We get it. You liked MvC. Shut the fuck up already.
>>11612755Wow this actually looks goodI take it this isn't your work then
>>11612212Are you kidding? The sculpts were advancing going into this phase. The articution was being cut but the new parts fit together better and the figures were no longer janky. Look at Armored Daredevil.
Do it, Hasbro
>>11612849I'll never understand why some of you guys will repost the same thing, over and over again, for years. It's really fucking weird. Are you stuck in a groundhog day kind of loop or something? Are you a bot?
>>11612855Yes, everyone here is a bot except you.
>>11612857In this context, I don't think it's that out of line to guess that something reposting the same thing, thread after thread, after thread for multiple years is a bot. Not sure why you got so offended by it, unless of course you're the guy autistically posting the same image all the time. Regardless it's really fucking weird behavior.
>>11612870>Not sure why you got so offended by itdude you're the one getting bothered by someone posting an x-men scrimblo
>>11612876Bitch, I just pointed out how fuckin weird it is that you post this same image every thread. Then you got all defensive. Sorry I rustled your jimmies. Maybe try getting a new bit you raging autist.
>>11612855>>11612870>>11612877holy shit lol
>he's reposted it at least 27 times. Holy shit, that is pure autism lmao
>>11612877Nta, but what are we allowed to post, according to you?
Hasbro, make Mammomax in a coat
>>11612885I mean, he's allowed to post it, but 27 times is a tad excessive wouldn't you think?
Damn I didn't know posting Mammomax was going to ruin that guy's day, I'm sorry
>>11612888Seems like he's posting maybe once a month, you made it seem like he was posting every threadWho cares he's not even trolling or picking fights he just likes the elephant guy just ignore him
>>11612580are you in mexico, philipines, or some other third world counry because you're obviously talking what the price was in PESOS1:18 figures in the early 2010s were still under $10. Here's how much they were in 2013, and the MU line was dead at this point and was turned into those hideos Infinityshits. Black series came out in 2013 and was 19.99 on release.I mean, even in 2020, 1:18 wasn't $16, because Hasbro's GI Joe Walmart exclusive 1:18 line was like $14.>>116126222008 was the housing market collapse and the economy went down with it, so a lot of companies started making budget lines to entice people into continue spending.Since Hasbro fucked up the ML line when they took over from Toy Biz and GI Joe was so popular at the time, they started the 1:18 Fury Files line and it turned out super successful. Hasbro at that point wasn't well versed in larger scale toys, so it was more natural for them to make 1:18 figures.>>11612640gas prices had little to do with their decision in switching 1:18, but yes, Hasbro taking over the ML line received a lot of well deserved hate. Their figures looked terrible because they didn't have to budget to give them proper paint and everything looked awful. Plus, the cuts in articulation. Fans were super pissed.
>>11612888No. He's been doing it for at least a couple of years. Bro just likes the elephant guy and reminds us every 3rd or 4th thread.
>>11612892I mean, all I did was point out that it was weird. Guy is making it sound like I'm having a fit, when I don't really care, just thought it was really weird behavior. Seems really important to him for some reason.
>>11612895Oddly on brand though...
>>11612893>It's another everyone who disagrees with me is a third worlder episodeYou need a new bit subjectanon. You just got laughed at in the GI Joe thread for this. Go away.
>>11612901>your photographic proof of the prices in 2013 is no match for my third worlder butthurtoh boy, i love arguing with uneducated phoneposters who will make shit up just to continue arguingprices were super fucking stable for nearly a decade after the 2008-2012 economic downturn.pic was the beginning of Hasbro trying to force fans away from 1:18, by dumbing down the articulation. somewhere on the same section would be Hasbro's 1:12 figures, which they were heavily pushing.
>>11612914I'm not even arguing you're wrong. Just pointing out how you're using the same arguments AGAIN. Holy shit, you fucking retards must reset after a set amount of time and just forget the shit you posted.
>>11612896>Guy is making it sound like I'm having a fityou kind of are dude
>>11612893Retaliation was a massive step down, and at a price increase from previous lines, though. It came off the heels of Pursuit of Cobra and the 30th Anni/Renegades line, which were the highest high point of the ME Joe line in every regard. Those figures were in the $8-ish range, and Retaliation was a cobbled together line of unreleased prototypes from previous lines, repaints of existing vehicles, they cut corners and released 5-POA vehicle drivers for the vehicles, most of the actual figures in the first 2 or 3 waves based on the movie had cut articulation, less accessories, less paint, and were inferior in just about every way to all of the things released around them. Even the packaging was shitty and lazy compared to everything else that had been released around it.They were only cheap (and I say that, but they still increased prices as I mentioned) while the overall care and quality of the line cratered.
>>11612964Also Retaliation had super shitty distribution due to the film being delayed due to reshoots and you had the first wave that made it to retail being impossible to find and the later waves being dumped off at Ross, due to stores not ordering the later waves in a MOTUx02 rebuke of the line
>>11612945Not really
>>11612964Hasbro responded to criticism about Retaliation though, so the later half of the line was pretty great.Unfortunately, they fucked over retailers and half of them stopped carrying the line by then.Still, there were amazing figures for the line and prices remained the same.>>11612967Walmart and Target basically told Hasbro to fuck off when they delayed the movie, because they were stuck with movie toys for a year without a movie to market it. So it basically became a KMart and TRU toyline, plus the usual indie stores that nobody really talks about. The only toys i saw at Ross back then were just the shitty vehicles and some of the budget sideshit. Back then, Ross and Marshalls weren't a gold mine for toylines. IT was only when TRU was going under that they started getting in a huge influx of goodness.>>11612930>I'm tired of you saying 1+1=2! you ahve to change the answers up!fucking retarded third worlders
>>11612893Nigger, they were $16.89 at the Target in the Fox Hills Mall in Los Angeles when the line ended. Don't fucking tell me those were "pesos" just because you're an ignorant little bitch who's fucking WRONG.
>>11612893>Talking about Marvel Universe>This retard starts whataboutism bullshit with Hasbro's own IP GI JoeGod you're fucking stupid.
>>11612914Mainstream MCU line with less articulation is NOT the same as the higher articulated niche Marvel Universe. You are a very disingenous liar.
I heard a rumor that hasblo is moving away from toys and will fully focus on video games. God I hope this is true and legendslop can finally die.
>>11613019see the Avengers film line being the same price here >>11612914And HAsbro pays a licensing fee to Paramount when they use the characters and even for the logos from the film. This is why the Pursuit of Cobra line exists the way it did. PoC was originally going to be even more movie designs, but since they didn't want to pay royalties/licensing shit, they changed the logos and headsculptsOf course, WE never receive any price discounts despite them paying less.>>11613024You're right. They paid up even MORE fees because it's also actor likenesses and other movie royalties. It's part of why Marvel movielines don't exist as their own unique toyline as much anymore and gets intergrated into the ML lineWay back in the day, it was nice to get TWO Marvel lines getting into toy stores, with an even bigger budget than the main Marvel line. Every single sculpt was new and the bodies had even better engineering than the main Marvel line.AND the were the same exact price (mostly) as the main Marvel line, despite also including more accessories.Holy fuck, why is the present so fucking awful??? We used to have is it so good. Even when they went to $10, that stil was considered high value and affordable.
>>11612755>racist and shit at making thingsI'm shocked, shocked I tell you.
>>11613028They fuck dudes over so well on TVC with psychological games there's no way. There's so many suckers in their 40s/50s paypig corral. Just look at yakface.com
Who will save Cap?
>>11613028No one is forcing you to buy Legends. It's not like you're beholden to it. Plus in all this time I still haven't heard of a decent domestic alternative that would put out the same quality and quantity of figures as Hasbro does.
>>11613045>Anyone who can pay for something is a paypigYour whole generation is one little jealous bitch of a generation.
>>11613072cap likes it
>>11612893What about the lack of paint now? Seems everyone has just accepted it.
>>11613017NTA but:>in Los AngelesThere's your problem. Prices of EVERYTHING skyrocket in big cities to cover the cost of living, pay, building rent, etc. being higher.
>>11613028The move to Boston is a good sign of it. Most of their internal people aren't paid enough to move to Boston and can't do the insane commute from RI to Boston. The thing is, this is 'grass is greener' mentality as games are in chaos right now, with large studios funding games for 4-5 years that turn out to no longer be relevant by the time they release and their sales crater on release. They're throwing what they have away for something unstable and unknown.
>>11613028They’re going to bump prices and make gamerverse the main line as far as marvel goes. Gi Joe and transformers will be focused on the original animations. They will still make movie shit of everything.
>>11613313There aren't enough Marvel games to make gamerverse the main line as far as Marvel goes, anon
>>11613320They better make Octo-Carnage before stopping the subline.
>>11613033You're such a retarded liar
>>11613282>Prices of EVERYTHING skyrocket in big citiesExcept, they DON'T. You're such a stupid child to claim EVERYTHING. ML's are still $27.99, just like everywhere else, faggot. Comic books are still cover price like everywhere else. Only retarded faggots pull the "EVERYTHING" card. Shut your stupid mouth.
>>11613353They're 29.99 in my city now, bra
>>11613391Anon, this doesn't count and you know it. Fuck off with your Amazon bullshit.
>>11613404I guess LCS don't count either
>>11612030>MoralezAnd now that he's dead the legalities are bit more muddled.
a big white and pink robot with pins is going to sell out quickly and hasbro knows it.
>>11613408No. Neither does any store that marks shit up when there are alternatives available to get the figures at MSRP. Also, Amazon initially lists them at MSRP but because people scramble to pre order when they're initially solicited it makes their gay algorithm increase the price. Either pre order them the first day or buy them somewhere else. Also, I like how you omitted Werewolf by Night since he's been $25 for a month now, proving Amazon isn't the best place to gauge prices.
>>11613391leaks are showing it'll be $34 by February, my guess is things will hit $50 for a ML by September next year and 2027 it'll either be fully gone or just Made to Order waves comparable to what Boss Fight or 4H do.
>>11612056I wouldn't mind a classic Death Stalker
>>11612148And these were supposedly going to replace the ML line
>>11612855
>>11613391So, Los Angeles is cheaper than your city of AMAZON, huh>>11613404He's just a disingenuous troll
>>11613420My leaks show they will be a gorillion dollas each bruh. Cool source though, faggot.
>>11613418Soon there won't be anywhere to buy at MSRP
>>11613478I live on the internet so yeah I pay the highest prices for toys
>>11613420Why do you think Hasbro would willingly destroy one of their more profitable toy lines by making them $50 for a standard ML? Or do you mean they will all transition to Maximum?
>>11613529You are a very sad little troll.
>>11613415It will after season 2 of 97 airs
>>11613420There was some guy in the dc threads about a year ago now that said all domestics would be $35 by March 2026. He also said he worked in shipping and logistics and to bug out. He hasn’t posted since after the election last year.
>>11613533I know. only sad people like me persist almost entirely on the internet and never go buying toys in real life in real stores, and we pay for it. can't even buy in store exclusives except from ebay.
>>11613540How exactly would he have contacts at every domestic toy company who would know their pricing plans that far in advance? He was just guessing based on tariffs, which anyone could do.
>>11613527Soon there won't be any toys.
>>11613611Action figures? YesToys? No
>>11613282The guy's a lying third worlder. He picked the only city in America he knows and is making shit up just to argue.Walmarts and Targets keep their prices the same whether they're in Bumblefuck, Kansas or New York City. MAYBE not now, but back then, they didn't.Stores like TRU had premium prices, depending if they were in touristy or rich areas and they raised their prices only by like $1 more than usual. But as shown in that TRU image, 1:18 figures into the 2010s were still under $10.
>>11613415I kind of want it but then I remember the ab swivel will snap if you try to turn it sideways and i think i'll pass
>>11613083 #You SW guys are just really bad at dealing with a toy company. Much worse than any other fandom. You willingly get raped and you get nothing in return. Then the difficulty level keeps going up for you to earn your garbage at a higher price.
>>11613762This is weird since a lot of Star Wars collectors just buy at Ollie's and Ross which is a viable strategy for black series, unlike Marvel Legends
>>11613772You don't get shit there anymore unless it's a remote location. Facebook has the scalpers all over Ross from now on. They buy up every drop of Hasbro crap every morning just because its "cheap".
