The Mouse King isn't actually a pre-order, they will ship out within days of being bought and should arrive before Xmas. There's currently some in stock right now at the link the other anon posted, and there will be another refresh next saturday featuring the pin and mug set which already sold out (the pins always go fast).

If you want to see it in hand, Dorklair once again got an early copy to review so you can catch that video here:

Also, an update to anyone who bought Golden Hildr from 5Ktoys, I actually got my second payment notice for her yesterday so they already have her in hand. Check your inboxes and your spam mail folders if you pre-ordered her because she's shipping out now.

I've been preoccupied lately, just coming back to look at what's up for order and preorder yesterday.

That mouse king is an instant order, what a cool figure. SO MANY HEADS, and the bone crown is awesome. I'm surprised we got this instead of more ghosts of Christmas, but it's a welcome surprise.

The fish men are likewise, a lock for me. I can't pass up that huge crab and that manta ray. That imp and walrus man are calling me too. I'm starting to think I may need to look into rehoming some of my earlier MLs or other figures to make room though, I'm sure there's a couple that I could live without, or maybe I'll need to make some display shelf upgrades.

It's so nice it got posted twice!

But yea, I insta ordered the rat and I usually waffle and wane on FO stuff, if I order them at all. But that neck piece with the crazy amount of heads was all I needed to make me want this guy. Even if I don't stick him with the Legions, just having something that absurd on my shelf would be cool enough all on it's own.

I do hope the "surprise gift" is another head of some kind though, would love to make use of both of his looks and an extra head would be all that's needed for that.
>>
>>11637870
This is kind of incredibly cool.
I usually skip the FOs that aren't based on horror stories but this is tempting even if I don't really care about the Nutcracker. The rat king allusion and it just being a skaven/wererat when dressed down makes this a really nice release with a lot of versatility.
Did they say which of the scales he fits into?

Yes, yes. The king is a nice pic.
But nobody wants to post the fact that we technically got us a Mythic Legions Skaven?

>Four Horseman-things make very good toy-figure, yes-yes!
>>
>>11638733
>Did they say which of the scales he fits into?
He's 1.0 scale compatible, and his arms look like they are the same as Mwindajii. He's a bit taller than a 1.0 figure with his crazy neckpiece and digitigrade legs fully extended.
>>
>>11638749
I was hoping for goblin scale but the body being slightly shorter than a 1.0 is fine too. Man that is a cool design. I am kind of talking myself into it.
>>
>>11638733
>>11638749
He's a completely 1.0 compatible figure. His entire upper body comes from the Gnole/Beastman figure that was presaled in the Reign of the Beast wave while his legs are from the Dwarf bodies of the Rising Sons set. The giant collar really adds a lot of height to him though, but the giant rat feet apparently keep him very stable.

Also, all the heads from that collar piece can be removed and fit on 1.0 bodies. Though I feel the newer bodies with the neck hinge will work better then the older solid neck bodies.
>>
>>11638738
Skavens are supposed to be short creatures.
Not mansized.
Pretty shit
>>
>>11638981
He is short. Shorter than a human figure but taller than a dwarf, which is how I remember the miniatures being when I last played WFB as a teenager. Pic related is from the Vermintide wiki, and the figure is easily in that height range.
>>
>>11637870
Mouse King will be my first 4 Horsemen figure. I couldn't resist. It's really really cool.
>>
>>11638981
He's a well-fed skaven. The kind that could be a stormvermin. Not a slave rat.
>>
My Hildr is on her way, looking forward to it. I suppose it's crunch time on whether I want to get Kubla Khan or not. I've committed to some other orders recently so I really shouldn't I suppose. Any of you guys getting him?
>>11638749
Man, every time I see the Ghost of Christmas Past I get a tinge of regret, she looks so cool.
>>
>>11639990
I plan on getting him, as I've gotten all their other IP based releases. Only thing delaying me is deciding if I wanna get one of the snake folk as well. Saw a side by side with the Lemurian buck and it's a radically different build so I'd like to have at least one. Just gotta see the budget by the end of the week after the Mouse King raided it.
>>
>>11640066
>Only thing delaying me is deciding if I wanna get one of the snake folk as well.
Same, this is why I think I'll ultimately pass, I have to get another figure to make the shipping reasonable and I don't really want to I don't think.
>>
>>11639990
>Any of you guys getting him?
I'm trying to stick to 4 figures for this wave because it's $23 international postage for 1 figure, $30 for 3-4 figs, but then a fifth figure bumps it up by another $15.
So it's either 2 of each snake, or Khaaaaaaan plus 3 snakes, and then I need to decide which snake I only get one of. It's a conundrum. Ideally I would get Khan and 3 of each snake to display all of their heads for the reptoid army, but I've got to set a limit for myself.
>>
>>11640517
If it were me, I think I'd get two brown ones and use the fancy black one as the leader/special.
>>
>>11640592
Plus Khan as well of course. If getting just 3 I'd probably just go with one of each.
>>
>>11640517
>>11640592
Yea, I would go with two of the tan ones and use the black one with the awesome snake helmet head as their boss.

But I also wouldn't go too hard on these two, judging by previous releases they'll drop random snake figures in different colors like they did with the Lemurians and seem to be doing with the Barbarians.

Though I really wish they dropped some more "Slate" figures. This is another line that started strong with the cheap army builders but seemed to move away from them over time.

>two brown/tan ones and one black one as leader/boss
That was what I was thinking. The desert one feels more like a trooper, and the black one really does radiate evil boss energy. I was hung up on using both the spiny snake head and the Gorgon head of the black one, but since the snake head is the same sculpt as one of the desert heads, I'm cool with having blackie being in Gorgon mode.
>I also wouldn't go too hard on these two
>they'll drop random snake figures in different colors
I figured they wouldn't limit using the molds to just these two figures and had more planned on the future. But extra heads have this amazing ability to override my common sense.
>I really wish they dropped some more "Slate" figures
I somehow missed the Shadow Slate Lemurian drop, and I've been kicking myself ever since. Really, I would be happy if they kept the main figures from the Kickstarter limited but did another run of the original Slate Lemurian. I only grabbed one during the Kickstarter, and the color turned out so much better than what they advertised.
Though I wouldn't be surprised if they are increasing production numbers on the Slate Pirahnoid. They had that head pack with the 6 alternate heads in the Slate colorway they put up long after the Kickstarter, so that's potentially 6 more Slates that I would buy. That's if they make that head pack available again, because I forgot to preorder it during the PO window and it hasn't gone up anywhere else yet.
Did I mention that extra heads fuck with my common sense?

How big are the ogre scale figures? I am looking for a stand in for a Skyrim giant for my mammoth and her calf. She's 9 inches tall and 14 long so I'm wondering is a normal sized figure or an ogre sized figure would work best with her.

Ogre scale figures are about 9 inches tall, with the dragon being slightly taller than the bare ogre sculpt.
Here is a recent size comparison they posted to show how big Mr Crabs is.

Thank you!
The standard figures are 6 inches, right? So that feels like it knocks the barbarian out of the running because it's both too big for my 1/18 humans but too short for my mammoths. The ogre-scale feels like it's just an inch too tall, but I think I'll live with it. That Kkurzog looks like he could easily hold the mammoth calf in his arms. Do they have a fur coat or something for the ogre-scale figures? I'd want him to look like he belongs in the frozen north, especially since I went with the snow-dusted variants.

>The standard figures are 6 inches, right?
On the large end of 6" scale. They are more like 6.5 inches. Bigger than Marvel Legends, but not as big as the average NECA figure.
>Do they have a fur coat or something for the ogre-scale figures?
No ogres that have been released have come with a fur coat yet. There is the Frost Ogre that should be shipping early next year, but he has something more like a polar bear skin draped over his shoulders. There's might be someone that does custom capes that makes one, but I don't know. I know some fabric shops sell the same kind of faux fur 4H use for their figures, so it shouldn't be too hard to make one.

I like this guy more than the previous Zolocon exclusives. He will fit into the Mythic collection slightly better. And for a change, I'm not mad about the exclusive parts. Well, not that mad. It would have been nice to get the crystal skull, but I'm not breaking my balls to get it.

He also comes with a half-giant head so you can go full on Frost Giant with him. I honestly feel that's a way better look then the "frost ogre" and am tempted to grab him based on that alt head.

>>11641868
Zolocon is a convention run by a company called Zoloworld that sell protective toy packaging and have picked up the rights to older MotU knock off lines and similarly styled 5.5" figures. They've been remaking them for the past few years and even created a new "original" line of figures in a similar style. The previous two exclusives, Skullman and Headhunter, are characters from the Warrior Beast line, originally made by Remco back in '83 while the newest guy comes from their original "Realm of the Underworld" series. Funny enough, the original version of this figure featured knock off versions of an old Curse of Spawn Axe and the feather collar piece from one of Stan Winston's Realm of the Claw figures. Guess they wanted to really milk that old "knock off toy" charm with their original stuff.

>>11641902
Oh I very much agree, this guy will fit right in to the Legion of Arethyr, which is good because they need more humans in their ranks. I almost grabbed the new Urzokk just to get his axe, but I'm glad I waited because I like this guy much better. The fact that the con exclusive items are also kind of lame is just icing on the cake to me.
>>
>>11642184
>>11641813
Oh, this guy looks really neat, and I agree that the bearded head looks excellent, especially for what I'm looking for. Will he be available to purchase on their webstore later? Because it looks like pre-orders are sold out on BBTS.
>>
So what time does Mouse King go up again for order again tomorrow. I want to be ready.
>>
>>11642406
honestly? in this economy it's a miracle if you can even get a chunky little preorder in after going for a twofer of a figure
>>
>>11642406
They might get more stock in once these guys actually ship out, but 4H probably won't sell him directly outside of live events. They would rather sell figures through retail partners and don't want to undercut them directly by selling in stock items at lower prices, at least not for the first year or so.

>>11642424
Iirc, 9am edt. But it took the first run almost a week to sell out. Unless you really want that pin, I doubt you'll have to be ready right when it starts. They been pretty safe about not selling out FOs right away the past few drops, and tons of older ones still linger.
>>
>>11642406
He should be available as an in-stock sale at some point after they fulfill the preorders (it might be a brief sale or last for a while since it seems they are stocking larger quantities lately). Retailers typically do the same after the 4H store does, and they may order larger quantities depending on their own business models.
The wave is Ashes of Agbendor.
>This wave is in the stages of pre-preduction. This wave is slated for shipping to us in early Q1 2026.
>>

I preordered two off BBTS and I'm thinking of cancelling one. If you want to grab my cancelled one, give me a heads up. I'm about to sleep because I'm on GMT+11 time, so if you are in the thread in about 10 hours I'll cancel it then so you can swoop in before anyone else.

I'm going to be honest, but I'm really not sure what you're trying to say. But I paid for the mammoths over a year ago during the initial crowdfund in October of 24 so spending $75 on the frost ogre isnt a big deal since I's not like I just dropped $200 on the mammoth cow and calf.
>>11642463

Okay, so waiting for the full release is probably my best bet.
