One of my Vegetas I realized at one point I could longer insert his normal arms in securely and they'd just kind of dangle there. Did some reading and apparantly this is a common thing for crossed arms in particular. Lots of people never use them for that reason. Just some food for thought. I'm not as anal about NEVER using them(although for Vegeta in particular I never do), but you just really don't want to put them on and off more than you have to in general.

Yeah I remember when this fella was released and all the recolors of the hair. It actually worked really well as basic super saiyan hair on 3p stuff. I was super happy seeing this guy at target a few years ago and got him. One of my regrets early on was skipping this Goku and the God Bejita. Given the insane aftermarket on most of the force, I would have expected at least Burter to get an EE...but I can also sort of see why they haven't yet as well. Basically, you either slap an alt color scheme on one or two of the releases, but then you make it not match the rest of the force which wouldn't be ideal if you are just missing one. On the flip side, if you release an entire five pack, you price out a good chunk of the people who might want it and you also sort of alienate the people who already have most of them and just need the last one. (Likely Jeice, Recoome, or Burter/Guldo.)

Hell, I'd be fine with them breaking their 'only release it once' rule for P-Bandai if it meant getting a Recoome that didn't have absolutely horrendous QC issues.

The SS Goku Vegeta head pair was the only headset I ever got. At the time your only option for SS Goku was the awakening head which is kinda wild. This go around with the new updated Goku body they got them all out quick which was a good move.

Don't get me wrong the Gokus and Vegetas look amazing, and they're welcome looking figures. But like this is now the 3rd Zarbon and 2nd Dodoria. We've gotten every form of Frieza except 4th and Golden. All the Piccolos. Bardock is basically another Goku.

Going by some of these trends I feel like Tien eventually will creep up on this list. Like Burter/Guldo and Yamcha/Saibaman it's a pack where you get 2 characters. And like Burter who was part of the force, Tien and Chiaotzu are needed for the Z opening shot which we're finally getting the rest of the figures for. The original figure didn't have battle damage even though it had the cut tail and was meant to depict certain scenes. Hard to say what they'll do. They did the thing where they gave the new Vegeta both boots so I don't think having the full tail is out of the question.

When you have it in hand it's not gona pose that well and it has a lot of articulation cuts they managed to get rid of on the newer body. So if you were to go for that one it really comes down to how much you value that one face he comes with. Under most normal circumstances I would recommend waiting for the new one that comes out in May, it's going to be more enjoyable.

The faces are often influenced by the other accessories it comes with and the scenes they want you to be able to recreate. Generally speaking you get like 4 faces, sometimes 3 and for people that fight you get your yelling face for attacks, teeth gritted and a neutral. That usually only leaves one other one. For Krillin you have the 3 standard (yell,grit,neutral) for his attacks and then the last one went to the nervous face cause he had came with the beans.
