What was your Marvel figure of the year? AY Deadpool 2.5 for me. What Marvel figure are you most excited for in 2026?
>>11663163ROM was ML of the year, no question.
>>11663204Nah, Sentinel was.
>>11663204There's so many people who don't care about ROM and thus are biased or unbiased depending on how you think about it.
>>11663212Even if you don't like Rom or don't know about him, there's no arguing that the figure is objectively one of MLs best offerings.
>>11663214One of yeah, although I would say there is some competition for absolute best.
>>11663214MAXIMUM Spider-man is objectively the best. Highest quality tier ML with the largest possible fanbase.
>>11663214>fully painted>good sculpt with new parts>comes with everything you could ask for of the characternot wrong
>>11663248Nope, just due to this Minimum Spider-Man fails. This is such an engineering mistake it exposes the Marvel Legends engineering team as complete amateurs.
>>11663248Maximum is good, but I just feel like ROM was one of the better figures they've ever done.
My vote for ML of the year is hands down Gamerverse Wolverine. He is one of my favorite figures ever made.
Oldfag here...this is my 2025 listBest regular figure: RomBest BAF: Executioner Best Oversized figure: Dragon ManBest Overdue figure (TIE): Rachel Summers + FF She HulkBest two pack: Punisher/Nick Fury (mostly for Fury)Best "Figure I didn't think I'd want but changed my mind when I saw it": White Queen '97Best "I can't fucking believe they made THAT character and I love them for it" figure (3 way TIE): Phantom Rider + Warbow + Spider-Man '77
>>11663312Solid list. Is that Punisher 2 pack really that good? I have the War Journal 2 pack, so I have the same figure, but I will admit the Gamerverse one does look good. If not to just do a little part swapping to make classic Frank and SpiderMan TAS Frank.
>>11663299Hasbro still telling you guys to shill those single jointed elbows eh? How much longer is the campaign running?
>>11663299He's nice looking but is out of scale with the rest of my Legends. He's too big.
>>11663652Would you say he's a big guy?
>>11663652>too big Oh dang I hadn’t noticed but it seems like a lot of people prefer the twink look for Logan
>>11663679well his whole deal is that he's supposed to be a small guythat's why he's called wolverine in the first place
>>11663679He's too tall.
>>11663712>comes up to Cable’s waistline >too tallDo you want him to be the size of hit monkey?
>>11663716Sorry, I didn't know you were stupid. Let me clarify. When he's standing, he's too tall.
>>11663721Oh my bad I didnt realize you are stupid and all your figures are standing upright shoulder to shoulder chest to back
>>11663320I only got it for the non SHIELD costume Fury and was planning on flipping the Punisher, never liked his white gloves/booties look and that odd white patch on the leg of this version just seems odd to me.
>>11663769>I didnt realize you are stupidyou are all retards equally
>>11663299I think he's a nice figure and one of the best MLs, but the over praise for this guy is getting a touch out of hand. It's quite crazy that he's the first properly muscled Wolverine anyone has made, but he has a lot of Hasbroness. One head sculpt, the paint on his nose is really bad it doesn't narrow inwards so it makes him have a big fat bulbous nose, throws off the whole face. His butterfly joints don't work forward, bad range on elbows, no boot swivel, the blue is wrong for the source material, his skin is too pale, his mask wings are too large, his yellow is too lemon (mostly because of no shading imo), his neck/head range means he can't look up from crouching pose and he's too large in general.I do hope we get more muscled superheros with better proportions like him and he's definitely one of the best Wolverines by anyone, if not the best in aesthetic, but basically just because Hasbro discovered that you can put a ball at the waist and made him look like a superhero for once, people are going a bit far imo.
This was the figure hastards were excited for? Yikes.
>>11663163Does anyone know when the actionverse figures will be released? I really want the venom from that line
>>11663926You're a few months late, slick.
>>11663926Fuck off retard
>>11663926As you should be able to guess people are not excited because of the articulation but rather because it's Emma with a nonhideous face sculpt
Will we ever get Barracuda?
>>11664007Im still mad they didnt publish his 616 comic yet
Why are there two threads?
>>11664008Same. 'Cuda, even a toned down 616 version, would still be a blast to read about. I'm currently plotting to kitbash Luke Cage's legs with Ogun the God's upper body once that toy is released. Will post progress if it doesn't look like shit, because Hasbro is NEVER giving us an official Barracuda.
>>11664029Other one is a shitpost thread that wasn't bumped for almost a week until this one got created.
>>11664044Wrong. That one is a real thread.
>>11664048Whatever you say bud
>>11664007I wish but for whatever reason Punisher baddies always get the shaft.
>>11664051You were the one trying to shit it up
>>11664052We at least got Jigsaw and Bushwhacker. It's not likely, but I'm holding out hope. Dude is the second most popular villain to Marvel's most popular anti-hero. I gotta think they're at least aware.
>>11663887As the leading authority on ML and MvC I can assuredly state you are completely full of sh1t. The only thing that's possible to complain about GvW is he's scaled up to full height and he doesn't have boot swivels. That's it. Nothing else you said is an issue because it's either QC/fixable with a little paint or personal pref. Yellow is too "lemon"? What kind of retard are you, it's a perfect sprite shade of yellow AND matches the look of the art, which is where the faces (some, not Psylocke tho) were taken from.
>>11664067>leading authorityYou are so full of shit
>>11664070Where do you think the modular buck-body system came from? To make it easier for us to customize figures I helped design and standardize the joints/pins/pegs/sockets. I hated having to grind down knees and elbows to make them fit. And every pin was a diff circumference of length. Hasbro (and Marvel Toys) realized they could save money by reusing bodies and to do that they had to make all the parts fit each other across all diff figures. At least the pinless joints use the same inner circumference and can be swapped and glued. I never suggested they go pinless but they wanted to cut the assembly/mold downtime costs and it really helped. Now a worker just has to drop the kneecap in the mold before they inject the PVC. Tho if he forgets the limb ends up one solid piece. But at least they can't screw up the position because the kneecap only fits one way in the modular molds.
>>11664067>>11664075>being this far up your own ass just because you make some incredibly mediocre customs. Don't breath too heavily, you might pass out from huffing your own farts.
>>11663887>too lemony Yeah you should just sit this one out, bub. >>11664075Wow you got a job at Hasbro? Is that why you disappeared?
I'm getting back to my Sentinel tomorrow, how do you think it held up in that shipping box
>>11664103Hopefully it's still there.
>>11664106it's there, that's camera footage from 10 mins ago. No one takes stuff that isn't there's around me
>>11664107(it's been there like 2 weeks already)
>>11664107Ah well that's good. Hopefully it isn't too fucked up from the snow.
>>11664103Well, the figure is probably fine but the box definitely isnt
>>11664108>2 weeks already Yikes! There is an unlikely yet real possibility that the whole thing is gonna become brittle. Definitely let it go back to room temperature before you move any joints
>>11664111i wasn't even planning on unboxing it immediately anyway I just got kinda boned by FedEx on this one.I'll post unboxing pics tomorrow night probably and we'll see how it ended up, it would have been totally fine if Hasbro wrapped this stuff in plastic like everyone else does but I see from youtube unboxing they did not.
>>11664112Just be careful with it when unboxing and wait for it to warm back up a bit. The cold is going to make the plastic super stuff and brittle.
>>11664113I appreciate you reiterating exactly what I said 2 posts above you
>>11664139Ok lol. Not sure why you felt the need to point that out.
>>11664075You are an insane, lying asshat
I got Rachel back when she was old MSRP $25. Bets it goes on sale below that sometime this year online? Due to how everyone is clamoring over here I'd say only 35%.
>>11663944Keep an eye out on target, they popped up on the 1st, but all aside from spider-man sold out for now so they probably only had one case or so
>>11664082Naw, I moved from Cali to Tennessee and got tired of doing stuff from home. I was sitting alone all day working on stuff, answering emails, phone consultation, sending stuff through the mail. Took too long and too much $ to fly and stay at the SDCC. I decided to just make some customs here and there and persue something else. I still have all my stuff and should a company hit me up I'll make them a proto or lay out a gimmick for something they're having trouble with. But for all purposes I'm retired.
>>11664647No one cares.Holy shit, why do so many of you do this? Are you that lonely. This is a fucking toy board, not your personal blog or therapy session. I hate sharing a hobby with such emotionally retarded individuals.
>>11664321>i missed himFucking damnit...
Love how Target marked down all Marvel stuff except Mystique lol.
>>11665096Why do they refuse to put thanos and psylocke up on the website?
>>11664058>Dude is the second most popular villain to Marvel's most popular anti-herowho is number 1?
>>11665145Jigsaw I guess?Punisher doesn't have a lot of recurring villains for obvious reasons so there's a pretty small pool of options. Unless anon means just nemesis's and not actual villains, in which case I guess you can also include Daredevil
>>11664647Why do you lie so much?
>>11665134I think when they said they were reissuing it, they said it would be in store only. If you want to be deligant about it, just call each morning asking if they have it in stock using the DPCI number.
>>11665197Dan said they were going to potentially do it as a see it, order it on the website but i didn't see anything definite. Also it was basically in store only the first time given how little stock was up for preorders
>>11665152As a Saracen fan, I'm sad no one remembers him. He survived at least 3 encounters against Frank before dying years after he was introduced. He killed Frank's only surviving family (aunt and uncle) in Sicily and DIDN'T die immediately. Also he's a Moslem so I guess we know why Marvel never acknowledges him and yes, I would love a Legend of him.
>>11665268I was gonna mention him but you did first
Can this figure hit the landing pose?
>tried to buy venom but because it needed 35$ to ship it wouldnt go thru>sells out in that timeI want to fucking beat the ever living shit out of a target employee right now. Their company deserves to be destroyed for this shit
>>11665326Which Venom?
>>11665336he probably means blue Venom
Mafex Comic Spiderman or Mafex Andrew?
>>11665443I know comic has QC issues so just be wary if you get that one
Would you pay $350 for this ?
>>11665526
>>11665527
>>11665529
>>11665526>>11665527>>11665529>>11665531fuck off with this ai slop
>>11665527this looks like a 70's stoner wall
>>11663163I'm thinking about selling all my Marvel Mafex figures and just sticking to Marvel legends. I like Mafex overall, but for some reason I've recently had a sour taste in my mouth thinking about how much I've spent on toys that I just stick in a display case and re-pose a few times every year. Anyone else get that feeling?
>>11665551I've never had that feeling precisely because I stick with MLs.I've never spent more than 60 bucks on anything, and all I do is put them on a shelf and adjust their pose or placement once a day or so.
>>11665526>>11665527>>11665529>Reposting Instagram AI slopI hate you people.
>>11665315Head can’t look up.
>>11665526>>11665527>>11665529Why does there need to be a pretty lady next to the figure?
>>11665551No, but then I have no desire to collect Marvel outside of one team and a couple of other characters. Where Mafex is starting to try my patience is the combination of price for what you get (or don't) and the inordinately long delays. So far they aren't three years for a garbage, seamless Batman like Mezco did, but still.
>>11665197I called the Targets around my city. One said they don't stock Marvel Legends. Another said they would not get it. Another didn't have it but didn't have anything definitive about future stock. When corporations become too big, they no longer need to care about stocking product or providing what the customer wants. They will subsist through sheer inertia.
>>11665601>Getting all philosophical about not being able to find an action figure at TargetWhy are you losers such fucking drama queens? Are your lives really this boring that you have to lament to strangers about how big corporations aren't stocking your little plastic super heroes? My God.
>>11665601>One said they don't stock Marvel LegendsUnless you called one of those weird off-shoot mini Targets that only groceries (which I'm not even sure exist, I just know Walmart has that) then you were simply lied to by a lazy employee.I've noticed this sometimes, and maybe it's because so many people here have autism or whatever, but you shouldn't just take some 19 year old shithead or a some retarded person's word at face value in a retail capacity.
>>11665531>>11665529>>11665527>>11665526All our electricity bills are going to go up and computer parts will become 4x as expensive just so people can generate images like these of fake toys that clearly are not viable to produce or fake anything. I don't think it's worth it.
>>11665602>Saying oligopolies are shit is "philosophical">Complaining about people talking about "little plastic super heroes"You're the one that came to /toy/, don't be surprised if you see people complaining about "little plastic super heroes"
>>11665603No, it's a real Target. But any time I have been there I have actually never seen a Marvel Legend in the toy aisles so I can't exactly prove him wrong.
>>11665603It's 100% an employee being lazy. That's why I don't tell them what the product actually is, I just tell them I have the DPCI number. This forces them to at least pretend to look it up. I've gotten more success this way than just asking if they have a random Spider Man action figure that the random customer service desk girl isn't going to know about. >>11665605Apparently reading comprehension isn't your strong suit. I'm not complaining about you talking about marvel figures. I'm complaining because you act like a faggot. Calling them little plastic super heroes is the icing on top to make you feel small. The fact that you honed in at that shows that the comment did what it was supposed to. Stop being a limp wristed faggot, and just give the employee the DPCI number, and don't whine to us about it. Fag.
>>11665609I did give him the DPCI number. He responded "Marvel Legends right? We don't stock those"
>>11665612This sounds made up. No employee is going to know an item off hand from it's DPCI number.
>>11665613He took time to look it up, anon. There was a long pause between me giving the number and the response.
>>11665609So you also collect little plastic super heroes and are trying to shame someone else with that very fact? That's very funny.
>>11665608there's zero chance a target doesn't carry spider-man action figures, dummythey're just out of stock and an employee is either tired of looking shit up or never bothered to to begin withyou might as well have just said somebody at your local barnes & noble said they don't carry harry potter books and you believe them
>>11665614Ah. For whatever reason your post didn't make it sound that way. Bummer. >>11665616Maybe don't act like a massive faggot and I won't treat you that way.
>>11665614>there was a long pausedo you need it explained again that employees at these places don't give a shit and lie to get out of doing work?
>>11665617While I don't dispute he could be lying just to get people to stop calling, there are other Spider-Man figures besides Marvel Legends. Plenty of shitty kid figures with like 6poa
>>11665620The work of looking up the figure was done, otherwise he wouldn't have known it was an ML by just the DPCI I gave. Where he could be lying is just saying they don't stock MLs to get people to stop calling. Which means I should do what?A. Be a sperg and call every day to annoy the employees furtherB. Give upC. Occasionally call when the fancy strikes me
>>11665622>Where he could be lying is just saying they don't stock MLs to get people to stop calling. The part where he says they don't have them. You're assuming he wouldn't also do this with anything else, like some specialty brand of cat food or something. I worked retail when I was younger, I've done this numerous times.>Which means I should do what?My main point was for you to stop being gullible.
>>11665625Did you consider that this is a coping mechanism on your part--that you don't want to believe that some stores see no value in stocking Marvel Legends anymore?
>>11665626I've only bought two "new" MLs in the past two years, both online, why I need to cope?I'm explaining to you that you're being ridiculous, and as I previously stated, I believe you have autism and now I'm starting to think I could con you out of money if I knew you in real life, or colloquially: I have bridge to sell you.
>>11665627>I've only bought two "new" MLs in the past two years, both onlineI don't believe you, anonymous poster. You have taught me to be skeptical of humans.
You idiots are such fuckin drama queens. Holy shit.
>>11665631We wouldn’t be in this situation if marvel legends weren’t such SLOP
>>11665604Nope, all our electricity bills are going to go up and computer parts will become 4x as expensive just so people can generate images like these of fake toys FUCKING. The future is now old man.

>>11666086Sort of? Though my problem with that head is how neutral his expression is. Mandarin should have a constant "how DARE you speak to me you filth" scowl on his face. But as far as getting the classic green robed look, your kitbash is probably as good as it's going to get.
>>11666086Looks like he had to get it on
>>11666086Not bad, certainly doable. I almost got MCU Mordo for this but I'm too lazy to de-blackify his neck.
>X-Men 97 Sentinel still in stockhuge megaflop
>>11666106hopefully it's the same with mephistonow with a new johnny coming I regret not preordering him, even if he isn't my ideal versionbut it seems like since I think you could still buy dragon man on pulse like a month or two ago
>>11666086I wouldn't really say so sadly. The clothing just has the feel of a servant rather than The Mandarin. Maybe some paint customization with some crazy dragon symbol drawings and such could fix that though
>>11666117Yeah, I agree. Which is why I tried picrel out too. He's more regal in purples and gold, but not really accurate to any specific look.
>>11666140This is what I think is the best body to use for Mandarin. The hands fit from what I understand and it's a clean head swap, you only need to repaint the neck.
>>11666037Why? Is your mom dead? Poor fag kek
>>11665703And you sound like a dickriding faggot
>>11666165His mom probably lets hasbro staff dump their load on her like a public toilet kek
>>11666144I initally tried that, but I can't stand looking at pins and all the MCU bullshit on the costume. Here's hoping they make a comic/TAS Baron Mordo so I can just use that.
What also sucks is that you can't even use the ToyBiz Mandarin because the robe basically turns him into a statue, you basically need to heavy rework it just to give him moveable arms
>>11666106I would've gotten it if they didn't increase the price. And if I had somewhere to put the damn thing.
I did find a few Psylocke vs Thanos sets at my local Target which was lucky, but this whole time I thought it came with a pink energy katana for psylockeSo I ended up buying the 3 pack one from a while back loose just for that katana

Can anyone explain why Hasbro are completely incapable of making a functional forward crunch on their figures without doing an ab-hinge? Why is it they fuck it up on every torso? I understand that once they fuck it up, it will be repeated on every reused, but why do they then fuck it up again on new sculpts?

>>11667262I hate the corporation that is Target and Hasbro for partnering with them on exclusive figures that are impossible for me to get.
>>11667746The impossibility this time seems to be purely a distribution issue. The same thing happened with most of last years MLs and Classified releases, they were shipped in such small numbers when they were officially released that no one could get them for months, but now in the past several weeks they've been overloading certain Targets and Walmarts with shit that should been there this whole time. Not to say you're in an uncommon situation or whatever, both of my local targets have continued to have jack shit for 6 months but a target an hour away from me had a bunch of the Psylocke 2-Pack yesterday
>>11667746>>11667749The Target right by my house had their toy section in the middle of being reset yesterday and I've been seeing online a bunch of stuff street dated for the 11th so the big beginning fo the year reset should be occurring at your local stores around now.

So what's the deal with this dark blue version of Bobby - yeah, it includes the 'clear white' spare head but I was expecting an entirely clearly body like the promotional shots (especially 2 and 3) shown on the Hasbro Pulse site: https://www.hasbropulse.com/product/marvel-legends-series-secret-wars-ice-man/G05925L21Was this some chase variant that no one wanted and that's why I can still pick it up? Do I need to get this from a scalper or just give up on this one and wait for another clear one down the line?I don't mind the dark blue but I wanted one that would fit in with the retro 375 that I already own. And I don't really want or need to own 3 versions of Iceman.
baby im praying on you tonigghhtt ass walk
>>11667951I'm actually impressed by this. This was a figure swap. That's actually AoA Iceman. Whoever did it did a good job on cutting and resealing the card. You can't even tell. Sorry anon, you got scammed.
>>11667968Yep, I already got that answer on the ML sub, since I thought no one would answer me. Like 5 people there said it was a swap so I went back and carefully looked at that card.Jesus H. Christ, I can't believe some plastic crack addicted autist spent so much time to cheat a Bald Billionaire, but yeah, it's a flawless job. You can see some very slight cardback bends near the top left and top right - but very minor. And one of the hands is loose and at the bottom of the clamshell and I think there's a AOA accessory tossed in there instead of the clear one that should be there. I almost wish Bezos' AI bot would tell me to keep it and still refund me my cash because I wouldn't mind the spare correct head and the spare accessories. But I'm sure they will want me to take it to Whole Foods!
>>11667953What venom is this?
>>11668170monster venom...just a custom head
>>11668207good custom work
These were $12 bucks at WM. I had a $10 promo code and $7 bucks owed still on a refund and two other toys I needed to buy so I added it to get free shipping. What am in for? I saw a review where the silver thing comes off with the cape and I actually have plenty of spare plastic cape but wa thinking this would be a good candidate for a cloth goods cape. And I have plenty of spare ML heads. I think the head would make a good evil Lex Luthor. What would you do with this?
>>11668451I'd have gotten this if I could've grabbed the Lilandra 2 pack for cheap, but I never saw it at my local Ross, and it never went cheap enough online for me to pull the trigger. I've been tempted to get this guy just for custom purposes though. Walmart has had him on sale forever.
>>11667968brother there is a visible chunk of plastic missing on the top of the blister, it’s not that good of a job
>>11668451>I think the head would make a good evil Lex Luthor. It does. Though I'm waiting for the light blue suit/red tie BBTS agent guy to make mine a President Luthor.
>>11668856There's an extra hand and there's also one darker blue accessory/effect (so I actually think it might also the wrong accessory) that you can see at the bottom of the clamshell, as if it fell off. I've seen this in things on pegs, so I assume the warehouse guys at Crapazon just figured it was all there. Those wage slaves don't even get to piss in an actual toilet, you think they get time to think?
>>11668919To be fair I can't really expect them to know the difference between regular and AoA Iceman if they're not comic readers.
LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOO
>>11668908Good to know. Which blue suited. I was going to use the Retro Alfred with some ML hands (probably from one of the Eternal figures) instead of the white gloves, and a replacement head, but I can also use that body as a Bruce Wayne or a Clark Kent. I have a blue suited WWE wrestler, but it needs the skin repainted on the neck. Agent guy - you mean a Hydra agent? A Shield agent? I know people use that Black Panther body a lot but can't think of any ML agent besides the guy from Antman who is not in a suit. >>11668853I almost never look for Hasbro on WM's site and if I didn't need something that was $10 to get free shipping, I probably wouldn't. They things I usually go for on Amazon, they didn't seem to sell or wanted shipping for it - and fuck that noise.
>>11669070That looks awesome
>>11669070Very tacticool
>>11669070Behold, optic blast!

>>11669144>>11669148I would be annoyed at you fags for bringing this up but sadly my grandma called me in the middle of the day to ask me if I'd heard about itI had just gotten Owl in the mail and was in the process of arranging him on my Daredevil shelf
>>11669150I was in the process of ordering spiderman 2099 when my twitter feed was interrupted with the shit.
>>11669198>if I repeat my mantras nobody can shake my beliefs
Anyone given the new Fury some fingerless gloves?
>>11669074I meant this toy. Seems like a good president body to me.
>>11669144I'm not terminally online and have a job, so QRD?
>>11669230You could use the gloves from Commander Rogers.
I hope we get an Angela, a Magik, a version of a comic Gamora, a Hela and a leotard She-Hulk. We won't get another reveal until like February right?
>>11669302that's what dan yun said on twitterOf those, I'd say Magik is probably the one that would happen soonest.
>>11669274No, a regular citizen tried to drive away from a masked lunatic and was murdered
>>11669239Gotcha. Doubt I'd want to pay $35+ for a basic suited buck. But yeah, red ties definitely work, and the shoes are also a good fit. The black suited ones could be the secret service agents.I got this AEW on clearance for $10 and it's one I was going to use but for a Bruce Wayne, the shoes are all wrong for a politician, IMO - more like a night out. Yellow tie is also wrong for a politician.
>>11669450Nice, looks like shit.
>>11669450You can buy Matt Murdock for cheap, just buy him for suited bodies. Not sure why you'd want to use this piece of shit.
>>11663163GYATT
Bros, I couldn't stand looking at that lanky-ass Mafex Daredevil so I sold it. Hopeful we'll get a beefier MAXIMUM DD on the Vulcan buck soon, but in the meantime I'll be using the Man Without Fear Matt on my shelf.
>>11669755there's going to be one in the next secret wars wave, but it'll probably be a repaint of the 3-pack one from two or three years ago, whenever that was
>>11669755Secret Wars is on a modified ryv spidey
The 3 pack DD sucked too, so hopefully its on the RYVs body with larger shoulders.
>>11669755You're going to regret it bro.
Current ML display after getting Owl yesterday. My Daredevil (and Punisher) shelf, and then my little side project where I kind of want to create a live action analogue below it.
>>11669810Nice. Looks good bro.
>>11669243Anyone have a pic of what that looks like? I don't wanna buy the figure and find out it looks bad
>>11669564I'll look for the Matt. Like I said, that AEW was $10. I'd had my eye out for a suited buck in person, including clearance stores, for at least 10 months and none of the FFH MLs ever hit retail for full price or otherwise, except for Zendaya or Tom. >>11669453Always happy to give you a reason to shit-post, zoomie.I know these opportunities get you up in the morning, far better than mommy does.
>>11669820>I'll look for the MattHe's currently only $18 on Amazon
>>11669819NTA but he's on my WL at Walmart because it's often on sale and it's something I can dump in to make free shipping:https://www.walmart.com/ip/Marvel-Legends-Series-Marvel-Comics-Commander-Rogers-Action-Figures-6/2446527530I only want the head so you might actually look and see if someone is already selling the gloved hands alone as fodder, because that's probably what I would end up doing with the rest of the buck, once I take the head.
Who else is getting this set? Anyone hoping we get Danger?
>>11669847would've preferred colossus and magik personally
>>11669851Magik wasn't in Astonishing though
>>11669853yeah, I know, but it seems like they only want to do colossus in 2 packs and I would've preferred a sibling one because I don't give a shit about Kitty
>>11669855Fair enough. That's a good point you make too. Why do they insist on putting him in 2 packs?
>>11669865Because he's the king of the jobbers. He even died suddenly from a clot shot.
>>11669851magik Is in secret wars wave 2 according to leaks
>>11669879so it's a combo of secret war and secret wars characters?
>>11669882Yeah that seems to be how they’re doing it
>>11669821>>11669564Damn, I forgot Matt's suit was that non-descript gray. Even the Everett Ross would be a better color. You're right, I will pick up one or two of whatever of those two gets cheaper in the next few weeks for spare suited body but I need a black or dark blue suit for either Clark Kent or for President Lex.
>>11669851Fuck that Nazi Devil Dick Sucking BitchColossus should have been his shirtless Outback design and packaged a with either a civilian Maddie Pryor or classic Psylocke to complete the Outback era roster
>>11669942If you're trying to put another good psylocke in a 2 pack I'm gonna come to your house and beat you with my belt.
>>11669969Colossus has been stuck in two pack hell too for quite some time. So get used into it
that "new" lizard is back up on amazon for anyone who wants itit does make me think about how nearly all the BAFs have gotten solo releases at this point, most of them improved versions of what came before
>>11669976And yet they still refuse to rerelease Iron Monger, Mandroid, Dormammu, Man-Thing, Wendigo or MCU Hulkbuster. I'd argue that most of these are in more dire need of a solo rerelease that Venompoop or Strong Guy.
>>11669992I agree. One I'd really want is a re-do of Ultimate Green Goblin, and I'm surprised that one hasn't happened already.I have the original but it's not great.
>>11669942I would've taken an Outback era 2 pack too, but I'm too invested in Astonishing at this point. That book was one of the ones I read when I got back into comics as an adult.
>>11669847Kitty looking like a hot 47 year old MILF.
does that Sabertooth from the Civillian Logan vs. Sabertooth 2-Pack have gummy legs?Looking at the figure, the arms are pinless but the legs look like the same shit they were using for every "big guy" character during the 2010s and everything I have with those legs ended up sagging after like 3 months of standing on a shelf
>>11670074I mean, it's no better or worse than any other ML really. I've had mine on the shelf for about a year and his knees aren't warped.Honestly, it feels like you guys blow this way out of proportion. I've had issues with some knees warping, but tha vast majority of my MLs that have pinned knees are fine. It's like you guys haven't collected toys before two or three years ago.
>>11670139Well, I have the previous classic look Sabretooth they did however many years before the 2-pack version and they appear to have the same legs, and one of the knees went crooked real quick after I first got him
>>11670197>>11669308>>11669274>>11669240>>11669144Exactly what does this have to do with Marvel toys? Why can't you babies keep your politics and opinions on things out of my toy board? Holy fuck. You're all mentally retarded.
>>11670215I agree with your assessment of what happened, in that some lesbian retard FAFOd, but I don't want to discuss it here in the Marvel thread. Goddamn why are you retards like this?
>>11670232You already showed your true face, troon.
>>11670254I literally agree with you and you're making up arguments in your head to get mad at. Try to keep the thread on topic you gaywad. Are you getting any figures that are being solicited this month?
>>11670215ICE are IDF btw :)
>>11670277It was never about anything, anon. He just wanted the (you) and believes in nothing. Talk about Marvel toys and be the change you want to bring to this thread.I got the recent restock of Psylocke and Thanos, need to find out how I'll pose the team
>>11670293I just got Lady Deathstrike for 15 dollars, I'm gonna display my Psylocke fighting her. I don't really have enough X-Men characters to do a full shelf
>>11670293I got Owl the other day but haven't opened him yet. I get Cardiac tomorrow.
>>11670297She's actually a really nice figure, it's so odd that they went to the effort of doing basically a complete new sculpt for her. She also had a ball waist, which afaik, only the gamerverse Wolverine also has right? Does anyone else have one?
>>11670316I'm not sure, but I like this Gamerverse Psylocke enough that I'll probably create a mini display for her. I'll put Deathstrike there, maybe the Mandarin, and I'll swap my old Kingpin's head for Shadow King. I just need Spiral and that'll cover the bases. That Lady Mandarin Psylock vs. Wolverine 2 pack is pretty cheap these days, too.
I realized today Bodybag never got any sort of toy and it struck me as kinda weird. It just FEELS like she'd get a figure from the 90s. That era loved slime and toy gimmicks, and X-men figures were all the rage. The fact we never got a bodybag figure that oozes other toys and you can slip them inside squishy sacks feels so weird given the era she existed in.
Am I going to be fine getting the one on the left?Or should I sack up, try to get the right for a decent price? Considered First Step but really don't like retro suit making it obvious it's the movie toy.Rather have something that works generically.
>>11670412The one on the left is fine, hell it's more accurate to how he usually looks when flamed on
I recently purchased a Marvel Legend with the same body buck I have seen many times before. A thought entered my mind, when you buy to complete teams you buy from Satan.
>>11670650is that free verse?
>>11670650Shut up retard. No one asked. I'll never understand why some of you have such a problem with completing teams that you like.
>>11670658They're poor. Simple as. Buying a figure or two a year for some of these people is a bit much. Buying 5 or 6 guys to fill out a team, that's ludicrous to them. There was someone in the DC general the other day accusing someone of being rich because they can afford $70 for an import figure. Poorfags have utterly ruined this board. Now you get shamed for buying official figures and people praise you for buying temu/aliexpress tier bootlegs. No one actually posts toys anymore, it's just infighting and arguing. I wish there was a way to implement a credit check or something that would prevent anyone with a low enough income from posting here. It would make this board so much better.
>>11670688>Buying 5 or 6 guys to fill out a team,I don't even understand how that would be a problem given how most specific teams from the comics end up taking several years to fill out, and there's dozens of notable examples of teams still missing 1 or 2 members with no chance of releasing any time soonWe'll get Demogoblin re-released as a solo figure before they ever do Carrion, we'll probably get new versions of all the already released Superior Foes before they do overdriveIf you're like that desperate to complete the Deadpool 3 anti-Cassandra team, you're looking at a span of nearly two years to buy the 5/6 members if the leaks are even accurate about elektra and gambit coming out later this year
>>11670690I don't see an issue with this. I started buying the ML Uncanny X-Force figures like 8 or 9 years ago before finally getting Archangel and Nightcrawler this past year. Paying for them over the course of that time made the purchase even easier. I'm not impatient, I don't need every figure handed to me right this second. A little patience goes a long way. Enough of this instant gratification bullshit.
>>11670688Imports aren't $70 anymore
>>11670701I guess if you're someone who needs to buy everything it adds up, but I keep a pretty specific list of heroes I actually give a shit about and their related characters. But since those characters are Daredevil, Punisher, and Ghost Rider, I guess I do have it pretty easy in the sense that they only release 3/4 figures I want a year.
>>11670690Maximum Carnage is such a disaster. Mafex Carnage and Legends Shriek are perfect, but Demogoblin has pins and is almost a decade old, Carrion doesn't exist and Doppelganger is an abomination. The only ray of hope is that new 6-armed Dark Avengers Spider-man mean they will for sure redo Doppel and will probably be very good finally. Demo and Carrion MIGHT be in a 2-pack, but who knows when.
>>11670764The only thing with a new Demogoblin is that they'd definitely wait until we got pinless Green and Hobgoblin before going back to him, but they've been dragging their feet using the same 12 year old goblin buck for so long, it's crazy
>>11670731Oh god, they're $85 now. Stop bemoaning the point you fag
>>11670733I mean good for you, I'm not a completionist either. I just buy the teams I care about. But that's to say, if I like I team, it's a pretty good assumption that I like the majority, if not all the members. I don't get why people think I'd like a team, but only like one or two members.
>>11670787Right but the original complain was about spending money on reused bucks, but they aren't gonna make the members of Bad Girls Inc without reusing parts between Asp and whatever the other bitch who wore green's name is
>>11670798I don't have an issue with reused molds if it's done right. As long as Wolverine is short and stocky, Spider-Man is think and lanky, and Captain America is tall and buff, they're fine. Like you say, without reuse, we wouldn't get the amount of characters we do. Character diversity is Marvel Legends biggest strength. If you want unique molds for the big name guys, buy an import.
>>11670254>Why does this general regularly get invaded with leftist schizoids trying to push their propagandaJust like Marvel comics for the past decade or so
>>11670688>I wish there was a way to implement a credit check or something that would prevent anyone with a low enough income from posting here. It would make this board so much better. It's gotta be pretty crazy to ask for something like this on an anonymous toy board. Maybe you and 7 other people would be talking to each other
>>11670865If it gatekeeps out the shitlords who ruin discussion about actual toys, I'd be all for it.
If you can satisfactorily explain the pricing logic of ML two packs beyond "whatever they think people will pay," you know more about toys than the majority of people.
>>11671145Paint apps, reusability, new parts, articulation scheme. No surprises.
As the data centers are built out endlessly, we remain, buying our toys, in the physical realm were we born, in the physical realm will we die. We want the tactile feeling. We are not the digidestined. We are what is left behind. When the last Marvel Legend is made, our world closes
>>11671145Wow, I'm kinda surprised the Astonishing X-Men set sold out everywhere. Wasn't expecting that. Got my Amazon order in at least.
>>11671575Shut up retard. Not sure what you losers get out of posting these overly dramatic posts. I say this unironically, but some of you really need to go outside and touch grass.
>>11670688More like they waste all their money on toys instead of meds. It's one or two guys without anything to do and another one that is a legit schizo. But look, this happens in any hobby. 40k is a legit rich kid hobby and their discussions on /tg/ are far worse, all hobbies are like this.
For me it isn't that i am not able to afford to complete a team, it's just that it feels hollow buying bad figures to do so. Just imagine if inart made ML comic teams
>>11667262>which villain is the best figure Blue Venom, Silver Samurai, or Omega RedEasily blue Venom. Also, theyre never going to do him again and I predict he becomes very expensive. Silver Samurai pretty much sucks ass. Especially his legs, they are absurdly gummy.
I think the most important thing for me is that I want that Onslaught. Hurry up and show what he's packing. I'm up to date on everything I wanted that Hasbro showed in the past year and I just want to see that Onslaught now.I only order what I like from waves and only get the BAF if the wave was good enough to complete it, or I really need the baf. Other than Onslaught who they already teased, I have a pretty short list of demands:>Exodus>Morg rerelease>Bastion rerelease>Adult Franklin>Ravenous>New Nova>AnnihilusThat's about it.
>>11671797The figures would be released at a snails pace, would be too expensive for you, and would only release the biggest name characters. ML is good for their character diversity. Higher priced/quality lines don't take risks to make figures of Rom or Crystar.
>>11671918Is there some type of leak or tease that Onslaught is actually in the pipeline or are you just wishing?
>>11664007Would love one. But he’s problematic.
>>11670412I just got that myself!
>>11672003It got teased on the package of this retro Emma Frost a few months ago. I don't think we've gotten news about this figure since it was revealed.
>>11671993Explain the recent death metal figure import announcements. Death metal figures are very obscure. They were from like lpzz or inart
>>11672028Patience
>>11672012'Cuda and Fifty 2-pack is my ultimate never-ever EVER
>>11672039DC has been trying to push that shit for like four years now. It's no surprise they're pushing that garbage. They're also pushing Absolute too.
>>11672059the arc is long over. they have no reason to push DM anymore.
>>11672118Yet they still do. Don't ask me to make sense of Warner Bros.
>>11672020Is it true you should heat those up when you open them? I finally got the right Secret Wars Ice Man (bought picrel from Amazon and sent it back). Was going to run a blow dryer on him because I don't like the idea of putting toys in hot water like it was suggested at the Pulse forum.>>11672039Same reason some importers are still making, selling Snyderverse figures: people with money that will still buy and it's a license they (importers) are allowed to make (see Hush and TDK).
>>11672387You only need to heat them up if the joints are tight. If there isn't much resistance you're fine. And hot water is a ok. Won't damage anything. I actually prefer it to a hair dryer.
>>11672028It's canon she had a boob job. This shit is weak as.
>>11669625yup mm hmm
What's your never-ever figure that seems like an incredibly obvious one to make? For me it's Ultimate Captain Marvel. I always thought it was his best and coolest design, though that is partially because it's what I grew up with in Avengers EMH.
>>11663163The MCU blade movie has been cancelled apparently
>>11672649Yeah. Same source implies that they're thinking about just introducing him in a Midnight Sons movie though.
>>11672649There'll only ever be one Blade
I'm wondering how long it's going to take for the Maker to be released too. Seems like a pretty easy release and has been popular for well over a decade.
>>11672649Those muppets were great, they work for anything
>>11672648One with working forward crunch. But seriously, I don't think there is really anything that they haven't done at some point, but there are characters/versions of characters that it boggles my mind how little representation they have had. Like Gamora, there are so many amazing comic costumes for her and the only one we have had was that 11 year old EE exclusive one in the pack. Same thing with Carol Captain Marvel, how has she not had a proper modern figure yet? Magik as well, so few figures of such a popular character (in the cult sense).
>>11672751Maker would just be a boring blank black buck. They should just include the head in something
>>11672028If you buy this figure are you allowed to touch it?
Can the legs on this Blade pop off at the hip like newer figures, or are they hard plastic?
>>11665604>He thinks people posting shit like that actually pay bills
>>11672843I know. Which is why I'm wondering why they're putting it off. Still want him regardless of how boring and generic his figure would be.
Debating whether to get a second and swap the arms and jacket onto it.
>>11672888You keep Hasbro in business. Buy basically the same figure twice and debates about buying another after that.
Why do the designers do this?
>>11672955Oh boy it gets worse
>>11672955>>11672958gappy
>>11672943Nugga, these figures are 100% different parts. Are you confused because they're based on the same design?
>>11672955>>11672958>gap neckSlut. Lovely, lovely slut.
>>11673066I call it basically the same figure twice because it is the same design. I don't care about the parts. There's no point to having both.
>>11672836Well, Carol does at least have that Dark Avengers Warbird technically, but yeah I getcha. Cosmic characters in general seem to get shafted alot, as you pointed out with Gamora basically every GotG hasn't had their DnA-or-later design done in over a decade. Hell, I don't think they ever did a Phylla-Vell, period. Also wish they'd make the hip crunch articulation standard for female figures already. They keep saving it for special(?) releases like Warbird or Phoenix, and it feels so incredibly wrong to get new releases like She-Hulk or whomever WITHOUT poseability there.
Made to order windows for anything they could tell would likely be rare would benefit both Hasbro and the customer.
>>11673189>Phylla-VellYeah that would be sweet.>>11672888I would get a cloth goods one off AliExpress, bet it would look awesome.
Hasbro lied about Psylocke. They put under 2000 back out at targets. That's nearly nothing, and still no orders allowed online
>>11672836>but there are characters/versions of characters that it boggles my mind how little representation they have hadI was just thinking, it's kind of crazy how as many times as they've released "classic" Ghost Riders over the years, no one really comes close to capturing how his original look was actually depicted on the page. Just once I'd like to see them do one in the style of the Spider-Man TAS 2-pack Daredevil.I'm also surprised they've never put out a First Appearance version of the Thing, with the muddier appearance he originally had. I'm sure there's some other creatures they could get some reuse out of the sculpt. Or less extensive, Eric O'Grady with his first armored suit.
>>11673538Almost none of these figures have a 100% accurate look. They insist on blending designs, whether its different colored gloves/boots, old insignia with modern hair cut, neck instead of turtle neck.Off the top of my head iron fist, Havok, Black widow, angel, etc.I understand each artist drew the characters and little differently, but rather than blending, I wish they'd just pick one and make it 100% accurate to the image they reference. Its bugs the hell out of me. The part reuse doesn't help either.
>>11673561Anon, comic art is so inconsistent, even from panel to panel, so I can understand why a company decides on a "house style" and sticks with that across their line. Plus, even with high end statues, the likeness to the original art is never one to one. I have a bunch of Batman Black and White Statues, that are based off various Batman artists from throughout the years, and even then, while I can see the art style they were trying to achieve with the statues, it still never looks quite right. I just calk it up to a lot of these art styles just don't translate well into 3D. Some do like Alex Ross since his stuff is more realistically rendered, but compare something like Mike Mignola who's art is hyper stylized, it just looks weird in 3D, unless you look at it from a very specific angle. It just is what it is. Also, the line does need to be cohesive with itself. Basing different figures on different art styles prevents them from being used with other figures in the line. You see some of this now, like how the Spider-Verse figures can't really be blended with comic figures or MCU figures. You need to keep the line atleast somewhat cohesive.
I know everyone is saying to get either the Everett Ross or Matt Murdock suited body (and I assume those are the same buck) but I don't want a gray suit. Is there something wrong with this one, except that he doesn't wear a tie? Also, in-hand does it look as weird as some of the pictures, like his shirt was cut off and doesn't cover his entire torso or something? Thanks.
>>11673579It's an older suit body. This particular one always had trouble standing due to his shoes. The newer Matt Murdock body fixed that. I'm not 100% sure but I think Everett Ross uses that old body. You'll have to watch some reviews or something to know for sure. I just know the Matt Murdock one was new and is a lot better. Plus it's been readily and cheaply available for like years now.
>>11673587Thanks.The Ross is the cheapest, at the moment - under $10 at Amazon. I really wish the suits were black or dark blue. Then I'd pick up four. Jonah comes with extra hands, however. And I like them for gesturing. I guess I'll have to think about it.
>>11673643Instead of buying a whole new figure for what you are essentially going to use as a custom, why not just buy the suited body in the color of your choice off of ebay? They for for like $11-$15 and you can get a blue one if you wanted. Just search "Marvel Legends Suited Body" and you'll find them. Some of them include the hands, some don't.
I will now buy your figure

>>11673878>>11673697What's wrong with the figure's fingers? Those are wall crawling hands, they don't work if he's just standing there with them.

>>11673696Partially because I would like a few, secret service agents so that's why I want at least two, but ideally four that match up, that I can also use for something else (bank robbery victims, etc.). And I don't want to pay postage. I just did a quick scan and most of them are the gray at $16-$20 with postage and not including taxes. Some Professor X blue suits at $15-$25 and most of the cheap listings aren't including the hands. I would pay more to get just two that matched with hands. But thanks for at least chiming in.I did see that Jonah loose, without the head, and that shirt does look like cut down shit in the used pictures on EBAY. The professor X, even without hands, looks better.
Psylocke shelf begins.
