Today, in the local library I saw Bootlego electronics/education sets. Those things are usually based on original lego sets, but this one was unlike any other education set I've seen. It's hard to describe it, because it wasn't like any other WeDo or Mindstorms hub. The motors were connected through electric "dots" at the top of the hub. The motors connected through "cross" dots. Sound bricks - 2 dots. The hub had several LEDs on the side.Does anyone know what it might've been?

Good to see a new /pbbg/, been a struggle already to keep /amg/ going this time of year. Have built a number of the latest Sluban offerings including their adorable M2 Bradley. This one however is another story entirely, not sure of the brand but they've been putting out the odd tank model here and there, previously with rather small instructions on a single double-sided sheet; this time they splurged on a proper booklet and no wonder, given the piece count of 1872, plus decals. They've gone with what Sluban tried for a while, with peel-away backing after applying.

Several of them ended up being across several pieces and the instructions overestimated the length of those on the sides. My "brick compatible" marble mech's arrived from Ali Express; pretty decent for free shipping from China ordered on February 5th and paying essentially about $2.50 for each one. I think the cheapest I might have gotten something like this on BrickLink would probably be $8-10, without instructions and without the Mini Figs. And the MFs are definitely there, I can see Thor through the cellophane and the stickers are already on everything. Probably won't get to build this until a week so who knows if these will combine into something, but I'll report back - not that any of y'all care.

Speaking of, the company B BLOK, already notable for doing blind bag fig series has a new wave out, the Ghost Task Force.

Sadly, I heard from a small merchant that the specific model kits I want will never be officially sold in the USA but he's going to order them so I'll just support him and get my future packages from him, and stick to getting my knock offs and things like CT Toys from Ali Express.I feel bad for people who order electronics from them.

Had to return a coffee cart from 5Below, I thought I could spruce up as a meeting place for action figures on a street diorama but once I got it home, it looked too junky.They now have actual LEGO and still have the same 'brick' copy cats they always carried and then some. But this was actually a pretty big store. They even had stuff I never noticed before, like a Spy v Spy living room brick set and other weeb brick mixed stuff like that.
