I think the main point of the person you're replying to is that the vote based reissues have no relation to what they plan on doing. They won't know what wins and they simply reissue what does. They already planned for a new Blue Vegeta and the old one just so happened to win the vote so they released it again. Broly and Cooler won the last reissue vote so they reissue them. Eh it can be a fun experience if you go with the right people. I waited in line for the Halo 3 midnight launch back in college with my bros and it's still one of my all time most cherished memories. Also waited six hours in line at a con to get my Amazing Spider Man #1 signed by Stan Lee. Yeah, I spent pretty much my entire Sunday hanging out in line, but the people around me were cool and we still had a good time. You guys need to stop being such sourpusses about everything. Yeah, waiting in line for a day just to get a figure is pretty stupid, but it can still be a fun experience if you have friends.

All this kevetching about waiting in line makes me think none of you have any actual friends to enjoy this kind of thing with.

Just means the body is old. Like if you mainly collect marvel legends they probably also have bodies they reuse a lot and then newer ones come out. That Vegeta has been around since 2016, they just recently phased it out for a newer body.

I don't really agree with that, but get what you are saying. For better or worse, specifically for the collecting hobby, I have always viewed the process around getting the toys as much a part of the hobby as the collecting itself.

It also really depends on the length of the line. Like I personally wouldn't waste 8+ hours of my day waiting for a chance to buy a Goku, but I have waited in line (and enjoyed the experience of it) for 2ish hours for midnight video game, console releases, etc. and am not going to act so jaded that I can't understand why someone would.

As someone who has been collecting since the beginning, and has every DB, Z, GT and some of the Super figures. I think that Vegeta is perfectly fine. I'm sure you will like it plenty too anon. There probably will be an update, since Goku has gotten them for his SSG and SSB forms. Though nothing has been anounced yet. I have him and I still am glad I got him.
