Did you ever hear the tragedy of TVC Obi-Wan's knees?
>This is how it feels to be Anakin Skywalker, forever:>The first dawn of light in your universe brings pain.>The light burns you. >It will always burn you. >Part of you will always lie upon black glass sand beside a lake of fire while flames chew at your flesh.
>>11744028>You can hear yourself breathing. >It comes hard, and harsh, and it scrapes nerves already raw, but you cannot stop it. >You can never stop it. >You cannot even slow it down.>You don’t even have lungs anymore.>Mechanisms hardwired into your chest breathe for you. >They will pump oxygen into your bloodstream forever.
>>11744029>'Lord Vader?'>'Lord Vader, can you hear me?'>And you can’t, not in the way you once did. >Sensors in the shell that prisons your head trickle meaning directly into your brain.>You open your scorched-pale eyes; optical sensors integrate light and shadow into a hideous simulacrum of the world around you.>Or perhaps the simulacrum is perfect, and it is the world that is hideous.
>>11744031>Padme? >Are you here? >Are you all right? you try to say, but another voice speaks for you, out from the vocabulator that serves you for burned-away lips and tongue and throat.
>>11744033>Padme? >Are you here? >Are you all right?>'I’m very sorry, Lord Vader.'>'I’m afraid she died.'>'It seems in your anger, you killed her'
>>11744035>This burns hotter than the lava had.
>>11744037>No…no, it is not possible!>You love her. >You have always loved her.>You could never will her death.>Never.>But you remember…>You remember all of it.
>>11744038>You remember the dragon that you brought Vader forth from your heart to slay. >You remember the cold venom in Vader’s blood.
>>11744041>You remember the furnace of Vader’s fury, and the black hatred of seizing her throat to silence her lying mouth…
>>11744043>And there is one blazing moment in which you finally understand that there was no dragon. >That there was no Vader. >That there was only you. >Only Anakin Skywalker.>That it was all you. >Is you.>Only you.>You did it.>You killed her.>You killed her because, finally, when you could have saved her, when you could have gone away with her, when you could have been thinking about her, you were thinking about yourself…>It is in this blazing moment that you finally understand the trap of the dark side, the final cruelty of the Sith —>Because now yourself is all you will ever have.
>>11744044>And you rage and scream and reach through the Force to crush the shadow who has destroyed you, but you are so far less now than what you were. >You are more than half machine,>You are like a painter gone blind, a composer gone deaf, >You can remember where the power was but the power you can touch is only a memory, >And so with all your world-destroying fury it is only droids around you that implode, and equipment, and the table on which you were strapped shatters, and in the end, you cannot touch the shadow.
>>11744045>In the end, you do not even want to.>In the end, the shadow is all you have left.>Because the shadow understands you, the shadow forgives you, the shadow gathers you unto itself->And within your furnace heart, you burn in your own flame.
>>11744046>This is how it feels to be Anakin Skywalker.>Forever…
where are all the astromechs they used to be plentiful now both 1/12 and 3.75 are barren of trashcans
>>11744011Why do stores like target even bother ordering exclusive items if they wont even manage to have them available in stores by the time when the toys are supposed to come out for the street date?
does anybody own gentle giant busts? how do they look up close?
>>11744156Because toys are the lowest priority for retailers like Target and Walmart. They don't care. Toys are only profitable two months out of the year. Consider it lucky they still stock toys at all.
>>11744022They have made so many knees and never had to do this before so why now? Maybe because they reused the thighs from someone else, I think Light Cruiser Luke maybe. But really shitty they weren't bothered to give a little extra budget to fucking ROTS Obi-Wan
>>11744098We at least have regular droid releases with the Disney Droid Depot stuff for 3.75. I think there must be some kind of agreement between Hasbro and Disney to let the majority of droid releases happen in that line which is why they're so rare in TVC.
In not much of a surprise, the final showdown between Luthen and Pong Krell for March Madness 2026 ended with Luthen as the winner. I believe he's now the first character to become the back to back MM and Last Figure Standing champion
>>11744418Honestly insane to me that people want him this badly, he’s a boring, stand around type of character. And it’s not even like we have a ton of Andor figures to begin with.
>>11744403what about the 1/12 droids then? hasbro tooled a new body a few years back, with three diffrernt heads, and has hardly done anything with them
>>11744022It's all so tiring
I got Bacara, now I need some marines.
I prefer Legends but she is based and amazing
>>11744424He's compelling. I don't see the issue with it. It's like saying we shouldn't have Tarkin either because he mostly stands there. And if they made him in the same look the Black Series did, then that would actually go with the main Cassian that we have.
>>11744434Don't have an answer there. It might be just because it's more expensive to produce them so they have to be selective about when they get released in order to average it out with the rest of a wave. This is partly why I gave up on 6" because it was too few and far between to get aliens and droids. It's just mostly troopers over and over and over again.
>>11744418Absolutely disgusting. Anbore is NOT Star Wars. Anyone that voted for this is not a Star Wars fan.>>11744424He will pegwarm just like the black series did. I think at this point it is just the Banthaskull audience still participating in this.
>>11744156Lmao wtf is this shit?
>>11744156Star Wars really is dead
>>11744481Truth
>>11744543There's no reason to ever buy Star Wars for full price
>>11744458i think the past couple years has been pretty decent for ayy and droid fansfar better than pre 2020 at the very least i wish it got even a third of the love 3.75 did back in the late '90s - early '00s but that's not likely these daysi think the big problem atm is that star wars has been very incestuous since tros and they're effectively unwilling to leave the imperial era, and the only show that didn't took place in the high republic that nobody gives a fuck about (along with being shit but that's aside the point)at least they're slowly testing the water with eu stuff, but idk how well it actually sells considering most of it is over 20 years old at this point
>>11744777>i think the past couple years has been pretty decent for ayy and droid fansYou are very incorrect then. It's been sparse and extra shitty on top of that since they try to make everything overpriced now.
>>11744418Why does everyone want this boring middle age normal looking dude as an action figure so fucking badly? Honestly at this point ill Fucking say it, andor has ruined star wars more then even the sequels have with how much the normies retardedly glaze that boring overrated shit show and now expect all future star wars content to be like andor shit.
>>11744782i agree with the price for sure but for ayys and droids it's miles better than it was in the red line eraback then it was just the shitty astromechs, the rare 3p0, chewbacca, and the occasional ugly sequel alienis it amazing now? no, but i still remember how dire it was beforei think the real culprit there not being any media for a could years aside from andor, which seemed ashamed to be star wars at allwhile i don't have any faith in the quality of the new movie or the maul show, hopefully the latter at the very least will get a couple ayys and droids made into figures
>>11744786didn't people make fun of all the boring senator figures back in the prequel years? at least some of those had the excuse of being aliens instead of just a dude
>>11744786Honestly the idea of more Andor figures is hilarious because the Andor audience is exactly the type to not want toys of their mature Star Wars for mature viewers because toys are for babies
>>11744786lol
>>11744786>Why does everyone want this boring middle age normal looking dude as an action figure so fucking badly?I mean....It could be worse. At least Luthen is a pretty well written character and doesn’t have such a stupid name.
>>11744910>comparing space dracula to some guy in a coatanon please
>>11744910Dooku is much cooler then that boring piece of shit andor slop OC, kill yourself fake fan
>>11744949This
>>11744011get rid of a lot of the busi-ness of that armour and shit, and turn that ugly helmet into something leather with horns, and you might have a decent Daredevil toy.
>>11744910a lightsaber user is the worst example to pick.
>>11744577The last SW fig I bought full retail price was Dash Rendar and regretted it. Looks nothing like Dash and scrawny as hell.
Left or right? I have limited experience with both lines.
>>11744463>I think at this point it is just the Banthaskull audience still participating in this.Keep huffing that copium dude
>>11744543>POTF2 prices Now THIS is podracing!
>>11745120Which outfit you like more? Left is BoBF and right is Mandalorian Season 2.
>>11744543The deluxe line is a true failure
>>11745390i could see the excuse when the deluxe figs were the giga niggas, but when it's just regular guy + accessories that used to be in standard releases it's total nonsense some don't make any sense either, why is chewbacca a regular figure but the wookiee jedi was a deluxe? what's the difference from the random mandalorian grunts and boba?
>>11745026Why would you want a female Daredevil? That's gay.
>tvc Padme still hasn't been discounted
But wha happen???
>>11746008It's the Crapolyte.
>>11746008Garbage toys from a garbage line based on a garbage show. Even Ross is too good of a place for that product.
>>11746008THE POWER OF ROSSTHE POWER OF OLLIE'S
There's going to be so much Mando shit at Ollie's...
>got a Phase 1 Rex figure>never understood this Phase 2 shit for “mobility”. Looks uglier overall and sounds worse to reduce protection. Rex’s soldered custom armor getting a balance sounds like a better idea even though I preferred phase 1>all joints are good but I can’t properly make him aim posei know toys don’t reflect reality but this has been eye opening. If they can’t move properly, hold a rifle for long or aim right then all that defense could be really detrimental in the long run. I now understand the need of phase 2. A clunkier heavier armor can be a problem to aim or to move in an endurance mission.I still prefer Rex’s idea of soldering the parts to customize the balance.
>>11746776the old clone bodies could barely hold the gun with both handswhich is a shame because they visually looked the best
>>11746820Agreed. I just love the knight-like T visor they have over the frown they get later
>>11747117Fuck Grimgoo
>Talk shit you are. Get hit you will
Kind of weird I waited for so long, graduated, became a doctor, finally got a stable job and through most of my loans, to buy stuff I need, to buy the toys I wanted… and now that I get the first few I can’t have the joy from back then. It’s cool, and I have some fun making them pose and aim. But that’s it. The magic of making them fight has been lost. They became statues, decoration. This sucks. I was gonna go in a spree buying all those characters I couldn’t get. Jedi, sith, mandalorians (do Jango and Boba even qualify?) but after the first few it’s like my body lost the drive for them.I guess I finally understand why people like Warhammer so much though. I’d probably go crazy if there was a tabletop for Star Wars people would fight out with their armies.
>>11747154>became a doctorSure bud.
>>11747158I can’t exactly argue since once a while I get a patient that thinks I’m still a student but yes.
>>11747154>I’d probably go crazy if there was a tabletop for Star Wars people would fight out with their armies. There is. It's called Legion
>>11747197First: thanks that sounds niceSecond: I’ll reformulate to include “with people in my locals” but anyways I’ll look into it
>>11747208You shouldn't have too much trouble finding people to play with. It's a decently popular game that's been growing. It's not like 40k levels of popular but it's far from a dead game. They're still supporting it regularly with releases
>>11747215did they unban palpatine and the royal guards yet
>>11747215these things are so expensive
I think I said I'd buy it to do this comparison, but after seeing it I really don't want to, so instead I'm doing it with youtube screenshots plus my pictures (should be pretty obvious which is which, white background is my photos of the bootleg, the rest are of the official figure) - now that the official Airborne trooper is in-hand and not possibly a prototype, I still think it's a lot worse than the bootleg, for several reasons:>helmet goes flat at the top, which is wrong>a few black details are missing on the helmet, all silver details are missing>there's somehow 3 different colors of orange on the figure - the shoulder is both a darker and redder orange than the body paint, and the chest armor is a darker and slightly yellower orange>shoulder with the 'ammo belt' is oversized, the armor piece is slightly bigger than the orange shoulder, which is extremely wrong>chest strap buckle is unpainted>canisters on the bag strap are unpainted>kama buckle is unpainted>cloth kama is forced into laying at a shitty angle by the top of the thigh armor, which looks way worse than the plastic kama despite the plastic one being more limitingThere's a couple ways in which the original old figure beats them both, by having the weathering and the size/shape of the chest armor being the closest to screen-accurate, but the new official figure doesn't win at anything aside from having the more-preferred wrist joint directions and being capable of sitting, the non-removable helmet can't be a win when it's visually worse in so many ways. If I absolutely needed an Airborne trooper that could sit at all costs, and also really wanted the new Kenobi, that's the only way the new one beats the bootleg, in every other way the bootleg is superior. I'm not picking up the official one unless it goes to absurdly deep clearance later, and even then it'd moreso be for Kenobi, if I want a 212th Airborne trooper on my desk/in a picture, I'd always reach for the bootleg over the official one.
>>11747395Ridiculously so
>>11747396Thanks very much for the comparison anon
>>11747396The new one looks kinda bad without any weathering. I still don't understand what they were thinking with the 2 pack. People can't army build the airborne clone because of Obi-Wan and those who only wanted Obi-Wan are forced to pay double for a clone. At least including Cody would have made a lot more sense. They did some new tooling for the airborne, they might as well have done it for Cody instead
>>11747154I know that feeling. Doing customs brought a little of that joy back.>>11747158Maybe he's a penis doctor!
>>11747396I feel like the 2007 one holds up surprisingly well
>>11747566There's nothing surprising about it, 2007-2012 was the golden age of SW action figures. Any marginal improvements on sculpt, paint, or articulation techniques since then are directly mitigated and rendered obsolete by deliberate cost cutting measures (ie we're technically capable of better paint but 99% of figures have way less due to cost), horrible character selection, and complete mismanagement of the IP giving us multiple films and shows worth of terrible designs, and the majority of things that do have somewhat decent designs never get toys. For every single bad figure we may have gotten back then we got 5 or 6 that were good, or at least interesting. Now if you try to count to 7 figures you have taken up half the slots for the year and half of those are repurposed shit anyway.
What are the chances we get a rerelease of the TVC Snow speeder? Also new updated sculpts of the Y,A,B Wings? I have a few TVC vehicles and am wondering if any of the earlier releases prior to the revival of the line in 2018 will get new versions?
>>11744011When is disney store going to get the mos eisley encounter pack in stock online? Cuz i missed the preorder from pulse
>>11747707Who knows? Vader's TIE was kinda random so it could happen. Chances go up if it shows up in Mando. Y wing has been asked for a lot. A-wing less likely but still has a chance because it's small. B-wing least likely.
>>11747755Lately the pattern has been that they don't get these shared exclusives onto their website until it's time for them to actually start shipping. So if Pulse's date is correct it won't be until between sometime in the Fall. They say November but it could be as early as September with Hasbro's usual habit of early shipping dates. It'll likely show up on Pulse again around that time too so I'd just keep an eye on it.
>>11747809Thanks for the heads up anon, ill be on the look out then.
>>11747707$400 snowspeeder coming right up!
>>11747566It's significantly less posable in the legs, but if you don't need him in an extreme pose then yeah it still looks very nice, the weathering elevates the old figure a lot since we never saw these troopers with clean armor. If the bootleg had similar weathering I think it'd be basically perfect, which is of course a solvable problem with the appropriate painting skills, but I don't quite trust myself to not screw it up so I won't be doing that any time soon.
>>11747396I'm already getting the two pack but I agree, the KO one looks to be doing some better work in a lot ways. I think the 30th collection still has the best looking sculpt for the helmet out of the three. My plan is to get a few of the KO ones to just make a small squad to go with the official version and then weather them all together to go with the 2007 version I still have. I really like that the proportions for those old troopers mesh well with the newer Clone body. It helps to justify keeping the massive army I built all those years ago, unlike with VC45.
Really liking the new TVC Marrok. The weathering on him is much better than how it was executed on the Black Series figure.
>>11747757Mando is a stain on everything though.
>>11748088I got him and eleventh brother and i really liked TVC eleventh brother but then my cat chewed up one end of his lightsaber
>>11748222Good
>>11748222That sucks Anon. I am always paranoid of my cats doing the same thing but luckily they only thing they ever did it to was the hand of a clonetrooper about 12 years ago. Still, I make sure to keep my office door closed whenever I'm not in there just in case. I haven't received my Eleventh Brother yet but I'm super excited for him, especially after getting Marrok. Walmart hasn't shipped him yet even though I ordered him at the same time as Marrok and the deluxe Mando, which I got last week. They did move his date up to like April 7th though which was better than it still showing March 21sr. Hopefully it starts moving in a few days.
>MOTU looks like a better movie than Moldy and GripglooWhat crazy times we live in
>>11748425mando & yeed looks like yet another one of filoni's masturbation sessions everyone who hasn't seen every single one of his shows isn't going to understand what's going on, and even if they did i doubt it would be worth it toit's clearly just self indulgence, why else would he bring back rotta and make him the only known case of a jacked hutt? he's clearly still seething about the initial reception to tcwhopefully the rumors of jedi 3 getting announced soon are true, and with it some figures i'll actually care about
>>11748425>TFW i think both movies look cool and funPlz no bully
>>11748432>make him the only known case of a jacked hutt? That's not even true.
>>11748443is there another one? the only oddball hutt i know of is the jedi one from the eu, unless he's the same one
>>11748445Grakkus, who first appeared in the Marvel comics in 2015.
>>11748460This actually looks great. My biggest gripe with Hotta is how a slug can move in a way to benefit a fighter. With those small legs my brain can believe this nigga can fight like that cheater Motaro from MK instead of just rolling around like Leto II.
>>11748603I'm not gonna make any judgements on Rotta until I see the film. He's still pretty young for a Hutt, so for all we know he's eager and is choosing not to use legs like that in order to prove himself in the arena. He also likely doesn't have any access to his father's fortune anymore, so maybe he just simply can't afford them either. All I know so far is that I really want him in TVC and hoping that one of the rumored deluxe sets YakFace has on his master list is going to be him.
>>11748434I like The Mandalorian. It’s one of the few Disney era things that properly feels like Star Wars to me.I hate the Dark Saber wank so I’m glad Mof Gideon did me a favor by breaking it.
Comparison between a Micro Machines Tantive IV and a Galactic Starcruiser keychain with the keychain part removed. The scale is almost right judging by the official diagram.
>>11748884>I hate the Dark Saber wank so I’m glad Mof Gideon did me a favor by breaking itLiterally the only good thing about S3 for me. Makes absolutely no fucking sense for the Mandalore badge of office to be a lightsaber other than to fuel Prequel era George's obsession with them.
>>11749009that's pretty cool, but where can i get it?
New TVC reveal today. Bespin Escape Lando
>>11749395>Lando without his pimp cape

>>11749395Ah yes, more shelf warmers for the ollies plantation
>>11749395when will they learn
>>11749432I unironically like that Lando, but I also got him for 6 bucks.
>>11749421>>11749422>>11749431>>11749432
>>11749395Too evil to even be funny
>>11749431>>11749432
>>11749395>>11749432In all serious tho why do lando action figures shelf warm so hard? Hes a cool character from the OT by all logic he shouldnt be such a notorious shelf warmer but somehow he always is. Iirc this was even an issue 20 years back with a lando figure release in like 2004, too.
>>11749488I think Luke and Han are always the priority for people with OT main characters. Leia tends to shelf warm too and her Ewok village variant hung around just long as General Lando.
>>11749488They packed him too hard
>>11749488hasbro made too many too close together and over packed themthe worse of them was releasing archive and anniversary rotj disguise lando mere months apart
Hello there!
>>11749488Lando is in the last third of the second movie and the final movie. Han, and Luke, and Vader, and stormtroopers are in all three movies. You should not produce as many figures of Lando as you should of these anymore than you would produce as many Droopy McCools as Chewbaccas or Admiral Ozzels as Emperor Palpatines.
>>11749686Not bad. I skipped the two pack because the Kenobi show has left me saturated with McGregor-Wans and I'm tired of dealing with exclusives, but I'll get it once it shows up as a single if the world doesn't end before then.
>>11749784I have a ton of Kenobis from the show too but I couldn't pass on this one. Hopefully they redo his lower legs before the next release using this mold so he doesn't have these terrible looking knees. He's still cool though and goes great with the Anakin from the 3-pack.
>>11749686Is that the same hand from the Anakin 3 pack? Not sure why they didn't give him the two finger point for his iconic pose... Also I am really bummed they decided on fully soft goods lower tunics for all new prequel Jedi. It does not look good and feels like such a regression. Imo the ideal way is fabric skirt then soft plastic overlay for the tabards.
>>11749816>Imo the ideal way is fabric skirt then soft plastic overlay for the tabards.Agreed. I don't think it looks that bad when you get it posed but the old way was superior.>>11749804I just don't care about the trooper, to be honest. It's a respectable choice for an exclusive, though.
>>11744910Someone needs to watch all Clone Wars series. We get it, you are a turbo retard that haven't seen it because you think is for kids lol.
>>11749851I like TCW but I don't think it makes Dooku especially interesting. I don't even think Tales of the Jedi did.
>>11749816>Is that the same hand from the Anakin 3 pack?Surprisingly not, it's a brand new sculpt. Anakin's got a fully splayed hand whereas Kenobi has those two fingers touching together.>why they didn't give him the two finger point for his iconic poseI also wonder this because it's specifically labeled as Utapau so it would have made perfect sense. Hopefully whatever the next release is of this look will get that hand. And they hopefully will reuse these ones to give to other human Jedi. That really should be a standard accessory with Force users from now on.>Also I am really bummed they decided on fully soft goods lower tunics for all new prequel Jedi.I don't mind the full soft goods look but I do agree that the plastic and soft goods combo is best. Especially if they aren't going to be needing to sit. They're at least doing a decent job color and texture matching the fabric to the plastic.
>>11745054>a lightsaber user is the worst example to pick. The coolness of having a lightsaber is unfortunately cancelled out by the fact that his name is Dooku.>>11744931>comparing space dracula to some guy in a coat...That squares with my impression that the only reason people like him is the actor. If he wasn't Christopher Lee then Dooku would just be "some guy in a cape">>11749851>Someone needs to watch all Clone Wars series....haven't seen it because you think is for kids lol.I've seen Clone Wars (even though it meant suffering through Anakin being one of the most annoying characters in the franchise) and Bad Batch and Visions, but I haven't watched the rest of the animated shows.
>>11749395 It's rainin Landos.
>>11749086I bought the keychain at Hollywood Studios two months after Starcruiser closed. It seems to be going for $30-$50 on eBay now. (The battery on mine ran out and I removed it without bothering to change it.)
>>11749856Dooku's just mustache twirling asshole in TCW, like all the antagonists in that series. Tales is the only depiction of Dooku's fall that has ever been compelling to me, if only because it was framed as something he did to keep Qui-Gon's death from being meaningless.
>>11745120neither
>>11749851>>11749856I’m actually scared to watch because I heard that they screw Grievous hard there
>>11749395As long as they updated the hip joints, I'll consider getting this release of Lando. I hated the joints on the one that's been rotting at wal-mart for years

Honestly wasn't that excited for this 2 pack. Really only wanted a ROTS Obi-Wan and even that felt more like checking off a box than actual excitement. But I had a gift card so only spent like 13 bucks on it.Obi-Wan Pros:>Headsculpt and likeness is really good>Comes with a robe>Alternate hand is nice>Though I would have preferred a soft plastic overlay on the lower tunic, the fabric matches the upper plastic better than I was expecting it toObi-Wan Cons:>Obviously the knees which has been talked about. But actually doesn't bother me that much in hand.>The sleeves are atrocious and the wrist hinges are basically useless unless you pull out the pegs slightly. It even makes it hard for him to hold his lightsaber>Hood on robe is stitched down but honestly doesn't bother me as I would rarely have put it up and can use some other robe I have to have a hood up look. This feels better than a loose baggy hood getting in the way.>Hand seems to be sourced to the Mustafar scene where he and Anakin force push each other. It's okay I guess but weird choice for a "Utapau" figure. The two finger pose makes infinite more sense.Airborne Pros:>Uh... Good it finally exists for the people that wanted it I guess? Personally I probably wouldn't have bought it if it was sold on its own.>The removable satchel is a nice accessory that can go on other figures.Airborne Cons:>I really wish it had weathering, even just a little. Without it, it looks weird and like a bootleg to me. But maybe that's a bit harsh because I pulled out my 212th bootlegs and the plastic is much shittier and smellier on them>The chest straps really hinder torso articulation and I'm worried they could tear. >I think the legs are not symmetric heights somehow so he has trouble standing straight but maybe it's just my copy.Idk why I wrote this long ass review lol. Maybe because these are my first TVC figs in a long while. I hope they release Cody and ROTS Anakin soon.
>>11752166>Hand seems to be sourced to the Mustafar scene where he and Anakin force push each other. It's okay I guess but weird choice for a "Utapau" figure. I still hope they bring her back some day for another movie or spin off. I wanna fuck the shit out of sophie turner. >>11754519You got a point there. It still anger the crap out of me how these fuckers jerk themselves off about how important "muh female representation" is and they actually go and make a cool female character that actuallt appeals to me and then they fuck her character over and unceremoniously flush her out of the series figuratively and literally. Keep in mind i hate the sequels so i never gave a shit about all the finer details either for the most part but phasma was one of the only characters i did actually like along with kylo ren in TFA before TLJ made him fucking boring and shit the moment he destroyed his cool helmet.
>>11754243>actually cool female character design>temu bootleg stormtrooper with chrome paintStill don't get why people like the bootleg first order stormies, especially Phasma who is the same thing but silver>>11754592>that picat this point the only way to make star wars enjoyable is to go full on ecchi fan service
>>11754650I like phasma because the idea of a 6 foot tall female stormtrooper makes my cocky go boing boing also her design is legitimately cool as fuck. It is a crying shame the writers wasted her just like every other thing that had potential in the sequels
>>11754650I hate the FO stormtrooper design but Phasma never bothered me. After giving it some thought, I think it's mostly because her helmet is thinner and has additional detailing to give it some texture that keeps it from being overly smooth. The chrome also helps it from having the simplified iPhone aesthetic that the troopers have. Plus she's got the cape which usually helps a ton. This is also why I like the Sith troopers 100x times more than the FO ones. Their more aggressive and angular helmets and armor design with the textured details solves a lot of the problems I have with the stormtroopers. Plus they are fun as hell to play as in Battlefront 2 even though I can't stand the ST era.
>>11754723>This is also why I like the Sith troopers 100x times more than the FO ones. Their more aggressive and angular helmets and armor design with the textured details solves a lot of the problems I have with the stormtroopers. I loved the sith trooper designs too. So you can imagine my rage when they barely showed up in the movie for maybe only 10 seconds at the most despite the fact they were used hard for the marketing and merchandising for episode 9. I dont get why they were omitted from TROS so much either, they were so fucking cool looking.
>>11754732For me, it was the Knights of Ren. I expected them to show up in TLJ and hoped for something interesting. They might as well not have existed. Goddamn JJ and his empty "mystery box" bullshit.
>>11754935The whole mystery box shit JJ abrams loves to jerk himself off also showcases how much of a vapid piece of shit he is and how much of a talentless hack he is too. He comes up with all these great "what ifs" for ideas then has no conclusions because hes literally just winging in and making it up as he goes along. How this fucker has gotten so far has he has in hollywood astonishes me. Theres this new movie coming out right, called the end of oak street. In the beginning of the trailer they put "from producer JJ abrams" in bold fucking lettering and i put in the comments somewhere "imagine putting produced by JJ abrams in your trailer like its a badge of honor instead something to be ashamed of" but the issue is to these studio fuck up execs JJ isnt something to be ashamed of even tho he killed both star wars and star trek and consistently pumps out mediocre shit after shit after shit. I heard a rumor out there a couple years back that the reason execs push abrams so much is that he is really good about keeping productions on budget and on schedule so on a technical and monetary level hes competent and thats why they keep him around, but for actual story and movie quality he just fucking sucks and these execs need to get it through their damn skulls to tell him to cur the crap with the damn mystery boxes to cut out with the hacky writing and cut the shit with the faggy lens flares and the cringey beastie boys references for fucks sake!
lol why does she look like that? Head looks massive with tiny arms
>>11755014>He comes up with all these great "what ifs" for ideas then has no conclusions because hes literally just winging in and making it up as he goes along. This is why TROS is so fascinating to me, he thought he would do his mystery box for someone else to solve schtick, only to have to be the one to come back and do it. He had NO clue how to resolve any of what he had set up so he just flails and throws shit against the wall, and does whatever he thinks fanboys want to see. Every stupid decision in this movie has an element of "I bet the fans are going to love this" and he ends up just showing his whole ass and pleasing nobody.
>>11754935I love how they're so shoehorned into the movie that every scene just treats them as a single entity. The heroes are on the smuggler planet and the Knights of Ren are all spying on them from behind a hallway and it's like 7 dudes trying to be sneaky.
>>11754732I honestly didn't know they were barely in it since I never saw TROS. I am not surprised though. Abrams can't do a damn thing right to have his life. >>11755136Yeah i didnt even wanna see TROS but a couple friends dragged me along so they could watch me cringe at it. I liked babu frik in it but thats about it. Sheev shouldve been in it more too. Every stupid decision in this movie has an element of "I bet the fans are going to love this" and he ends up just showing his whole ass and pleasing nobody. The dumbest thing to me is that half the mystery box shit that i feel was most important to JJ or he felt and thought was the most important didnt actually matter to the fans and most everyone else. I shit on rian johnson all the time but one of the only thing that pasty faced s-o-yboy reddit gold having mother fucker did was say "reys parents were vagabond drug addicts who died from a heroin overdose" because the big question over reys parentage and her last name was fucking stupid since day fucking one. Lets separate the fact that rey is a shit mary sue character and that daisy ridley is a shit no talent actor for a second, even if rey was a extremely interesting and enjoyable character who was played by a phenomenal actress i would not give a flying fuck who her parentage was and if she was tangentially related to some character from one of the previous movies or not. Its such a shitty nonissue story trope to care about and the fact they made such a big fucking deal about it was so astronomically retarded it begs the question why didnt disney have a tighter leash on their creatives when they were cooking up this turkey of a trilogy. The sequels need to be studied for decades from now to just see how a multibillion dollar corpo conglomerate can fuck up a billion dollar buyout so badly and quickly like this.Literally what were they thinking?
>>11755137>Wait really? When did this happen? Thats fucking fantastic news lmfaoJust within the last few days. It was really good to see. It's a shame it couldn't have happened a decade earlier but at least people aren't likely going to be handing him the keys to anymore big IP's hopefully.
>>11755137I liked how "Palpatine's broadcast" referred to in the opening crawl happened in fucking Fortnite. Also, I think Palpatine would be smart enough to hold off on announcing himself until after the Sith fleet were deployed and taken over. But then they couldn't have the Deus Ex Machina of super lighting destroying them all.The ST really is dumb af.
>>11755328Agreed. Palpatine never revealed his hand on anything until he was assured an overwhelming chance of victory.Even the shit with Mace was essentially a small calculated risk.>take out all the other jedi masters in seconds>draw out a fight with Mace since he's the best warrior of the group until Anakin arrives>feign losing and force lightning himself>right back to UNLIMITED POWA! after he's got Ankain in the bag for the sith.Only times that legitimately surprised Palps was just spur of the moment act of God types of actions that you really can't account for
>>11755141>I shit on rian johnson all the time but one of the only thing that pasty faced s-o-yboy reddit gold having mother fucker did was say "reys parents were vagabond drug addicts who died from a heroin overdose" because the big question over reys parentage and her last name was fucking stupid since day fucking one.I also like that he got rid of Snoke because he realized the character was a Palpatine retread that added nothing. Having Kylo kill him and then try to replace him was a more interesting change of pace than the expected "dies killing the bigger bad guy and thus redeems himself" plot point. This was honestly a smart decision because it forced whoever handled Episode 9 to come up with an ending to Kylo's story that wasn't just a retread of Vader's ending. Then Abrams found a way to do it anyway.
>>11755141perhaps the most infuriating thing about tlj is that on paper it actually does have some interesting ideas, it just executes them in the shittiest way possible in a roundabout way i guess that makes it better than tfa and tros by default, who try nothing interesting and also execute it the worst way possiblei should also point out that while kennedy was a poor head of lucasfilm, the blame of the total shitshow of the st falls squarely on abrams, who threw out all of lucas' treatments that were being worked on prior to his entrance when he was hired as director in favour of the anh rehash we all know
One of her feet is looser than the other, the other one snaps straight and back but the looser one doesn’t is that common with black series
>>11755166Yeah i just looked it up a few hours back, its very cathartic to see and i hope it means the end of JJs career too. I hate what that fucker has done to star wars and hollywood at large and all because he made that overhyped shit show lost.>>11755630No that was still fucking stupid, i actually was invested in snoke and while you could argue he was a sheev retread (they really shouldve done the giant snake design they almost did for snoke originally) going the direction they did for kylo in TLJ made him fucking boring and shit and ruined any cool factor his character did have in TFA previously. I liked him in TFA being an edgy vader fanboy wannabe sith who was the dark side version of an edgelord linkin park fan. In TLJ they just made him into a generic disney heart throb love interest to appeal to the female demographic because the mouse only wants everything to be gynocentric.
>>11755656I've said it before but I respect TLJ more than TFA and TROS because despite getting so much wrong you can see that Rian was at least trying to do something different and making decisions that he legit thought would help the story. He was wrong but there's an element of sincerity there. With the other two, it's obvious Abrams didn't actually care and just did whatever would please the fans and make the most money, which on top of being cynical as fuck just backfired because it didn't occur to him that people would care about the story beyond having their nostalgia stroked. He brought back Palpatine not because it made any sense (and he couldn't even bother coming up with an explanation) but because he thought the fans would all go wild and love their favorite villain coming back even if it actively shits on the OT and the saga as a whole.
>>11755656>perhaps the most infuriating thing about tlj is that on paper it actually does have some interesting ideas, it just executes them in the shittiest way possiblein a roundabout way i guess that makes it better than tfa and tros by default, who try nothing interesting and also execute it the worst way possibleIt still was made with utter contempt for the franchise. I honestly cant tell who i hate more anymore. JJ who made the most stale utter lazy attempt at a reboot with TFA or rian who just shat all over the series trying to say "old star wars sexist and bad, disney wars good because grrls get it done!!!">i should also point out that while kennedy was a poor head of lucasfilm, the blame of the total shitshow of the st falls squarely on abrams, who threw out all of lucas' treatments that were being worked on prior to his entrance when he was hired as director in favour of the anh rehash we all knowI still think KK was a man hating psycho wench but JJ was absolutely a Gen-X retard who was way too hard on being an OT purist and wanked way too hard on nostalgia and didnt want to change anything as a result. Seriously rehashing rebellion and empire shit for the sequels is insane to me. I still dont fucking get it at all how can someone be so brain damanged and uncreative. I really wanna know how much of that was abrams being a OT purist who wanted to stay close to the feel of the old movies and how much was it the disney think tank wanting to make back their investment to not rock the boat too hard to make sure they could make alot of money by banking on nostalgia bucks and memberberries at the time.
>>11755670>In TLJ they just made him into a generic disney heart throb love interestthat's not even what happened, tlj pushes him further into the dark side than tfa didhe's given the opportunity to turn away and join rey and be her bad boy boyfriend and he actively rejects it and decides to kill herlike that's the whole point rey went there thinking she could change him and make him her love interest and luke warned her that she had no idea what she was doing and luke was right, kylo was too full of anger and hate and the moment she stopped being useful to him he turned on her
>>11755672>because despite getting so much wrong you can see that Rian was at least trying to do something different and making decisions that he legit thought would help the story. He was wrong but there's an element of sincerity there. Was he though? I really cant tell anymore. I still honestly feel rian was just trying to make a point to dunk on star wars as a whole. And im at a point where im so cynical and burnt out from the franchise from so many aspects of it that i dont really care anymore but i still feel he wasnt truly a fan of it imo. To me at least he was trying to just make some dumb point in his weird artsy fartsy mind, but all it did was kill the franchise and make youtube filled with grifters and ruined american politics. Ill say this tho, because of rians fuck up now star wars is extremely stale most of the time because i imagine the heads are telling writers not to make something that shakes it up too much. So yeah rian shouldnt have made the stinker that was TLJ but making the franchise cookie cutter lightsaber porn fan service wank wasnt the answer either. I dont even care anymore about star wars that much i just want to get that cantina set soon. I mostly watch cartoons at this point now anyways.
>>11755674The reylo shit just felt so schmaltzy to me it felt like something out of hunger games. That and the ben swolo scene and again, kylo smashing his cool ass mask made me resent his character in TLJ. Im sorry but they ruined him in my eyes from the bad ass he was in TFA. I thought TFA was overrated shit and mediocre when it came out in 2015 but kylo was one of the only characters i did enjoy in it and TLJ ruined him for me.>inb4 "b-but romance was always in star wars"It was gay as fuck in AOTC and arguably the worst aspect in the prequels and also it was overhyped in TESB which is one of the most overrated movies in existence. Their i fucking said it. TESB Isnt bad, its fucking good, but its overrated as anything.
>>11755672Also i wanna say that screenshot you posted causes me physically pain after reading through it, thanks for that man
>>11755675I think Rian's sensibilities are wrong for Star Wars but a lot of people misinterpret his statements about subversion and it ended up morphing into "he made it bad on purpose to spread his feminism!" just people were just desperate for a culture war bogeyman. Just from the interviews I've seen I feel that he did think he was making the right choices for what makes an interesting story, but just didn't understand that these choices don't really work in Star Wars and especially not as part of the Skywalker Saga. It's a bit like getting Steven Spielberg to finish a Stanley Kubrick movie, yeah Spielberg has a lot of great ideas but his style and sensibilities are so different from Kubrick that the end result is an atonal mess that can't really decide what kind of movie it wants to be.
>>11755673i think kennedy did have some modicum of respect for george, at least when the deal was initially signed, and early st news did seem to be following with what george left them and they had meetings with him semi-frequently on how things should be goingbut iger and the board wanted abrams, and kennedy ultimately had to obey their wishes i'm not trying to pretend that she cared, if she did lucasfilm would've at least tried to lay groundword for a trilogy, but i don't think she hates george
>>11755680>I think Rian's sensibilities are wrong for Star Wars but a lot of people misinterpret his statements about subversion and it ended up morphing into "he made it bad on purpose to spread his feminism!" just people were just desperate for a culture war bogeyman. My question now is why the fuck did they allow him to even work on a star wars film to begin with if it clearly wasnt a good fit for a film maker like him?
>>11755682>but iger and the board wanted abramsIs this true? Like specifically iger and disney themselves singled out abrams in particular to direct? I didnt know this before. Why is that and why chose JJ abrams of all people? I imagine because of his work on star trek previously since even if they were sucky movies they did make alot of money.
>>11755683It was basically entirely because of Looper. Kennedy and Iger saw that he made a movie that was A. science fiction and B. was pretty profitable, and those were really the only two criteria they needed. It was the same reason Trevorrow got Jurassic World, which then led to him getting Episode 9. It's honestly insane that they put so little thought into this trilogy.
>>11755684abrams was a big shot director at the time and just got finished ruining star trek, which did big numbers and superficially resembled star wars afaik he was sought out by disney/ lucasfilm for tfa
>>11755686They did this with Josh Trank too, hired to do a Boba Fett movie after all the buzz around Chronicle. Absolutely wrong for it. We only got saved because he pissed so many people off during Fant4stic.Yes I do think Book of Boba Fett is a better product than a Josh Trank Boba Fett movie would've been and that's saying something.
>>11755686>It was the same reason Trevorrow got Jurassic World, which then led to him getting Episode 9.The first jurassic world was genuinely a fun movie but the following two sequels were some of the worst sequels ive ever seen a movie get ever. People love to shit on nostalgia critic alot but he was absolutely on the money for criticizing on the following two jurassic world sequels for barely having any dinosaurs in them. The fucking third jurassic world movie features more time on the giant locusts then it does on the fucking dinosaurs for fucks sake! Also i wish that dumb fucking clone girl cunt got fucking eating by a T rex, she was the shittiest case of a writers donut steel OC character ive ever seen in a 200 million dollar movie.
>>11755690I love the stories surrounding fant4stic despite never seeing the movie myself. Apparently trank was such a massive dick on set that the main actors wouldnt even talk to him by the end.
>>11755691jp is a stagnant franchise because amblin refuses to allow them to take any real risks iirc there's a mandate where every jp property must follow certain guidelines i know one of them is that there must be a child character, and children are not allowed to be killed under any circumstances very amusing when you read the novel and the book opens with a baby getting eaten by compies and the next chapter involves a teenager ripped apart by raptors
>>11755694>iirc there's a mandate where every jp property must follow certain guidelinesReally? I had never heard of any of this before. How long have these been in place and why were this first put in place?>i know one of them is that there must be a child character, and children are not allowed to be killed under any circumstancesSo THATS why theres always an annoying fucking kid in these movies. Huh. No one can make a good JP movie because amblin literally wont let a director make one because of all this unnecessary red tape. Fuck this shit
>>11755695afaik they've been a thing since jp1spielberg wants the franchise to be 'family friendly', so you can only have a certain amount of edge or they can the project
>>11755700>spielberg wants the franchise to be 'family friendly'Why does that faggot have to ruin everything, i hate that fucker so much
>>11755702very funny when you learn that the reason why hammond in the movies is so walt disneyesque is because spielberg went 'he's literally me'completely ignoring that in the book that was just hammond's facade to hide the fact that he was a total money grubbing asshole who cut every corner he was able to
>>11755704>very funny when you learn that the reason why hammond in the movies is so walt disneyesque is because spielberg went 'he's literally me'>completely ignoring that in the book that was just hammond's facade to hide the fact that he was a total money grubbing asshole who cut every corner he was able toAs someone who has never read the book this is...fascinating to say the least. Hot damn
>>11755705the book and movie are almost night and day, outside of the basic premise and character names almost everything is completely different the movie also ends at the second act finale in the book, there's almost and entire third of the novel dedicated to regaining control of the park and how the dinosaurs are breeding/ trying to migrate
>>11755694It is sad to see because there's so many directions they could go.Fallen Kingdom for all its faults opened the floodgates for potential sequel and spinoff ideas then we get Dominion with its bug subplot and trying to capture all the dinos and put em in 1 Valley, then Rebirth said hold my beer....You could easily go from an 80s type adventure film with kids and dinosaurs (goonies meet prehistyria) to actual monster horror films.
>>11755717>keep all the animals alive in Biosyn Valley, protected from whatever virus is killing them outside of tropical climates>make adult Tim the villain that came up with a way to kill off the dinosaurs>Sea based action movie with both Mosas>horror movie where someone created more Indoraptors>ecoterrorists lost in Biosyn Valley
>>11755705Hammond dies to compies in the book, I think it was? His final moments are him cursing his shitty grandkids too.
>>11755672>Rian was at least trying to do something differentThis is one of the worst TLJ takes and I am so tired of seeing it for the past almost 10 years. Every single "new" or "different" beat from that movie is something that was already done in another Star Wars movie.>making decisions that he legit thought would help the storyI don't know how you can say this. Subverting everything JJ set up (doesn't matter how shitty those set ups were) doesn't help the story. For example, end of TFA Rey hands over the lightsaber and beginning of TLJ Luke throws it away. How is that helpful or sincere or anything but blatant trolling?

>>11755932Motherfucks, I have Nihilus. I see he has new robes but is he otherwise the same old Maul mold?
>>11755952Par for the course, especially with Gaming Greats. I wouldn't be surprised if Kreia is just using one of the Acolyte bodies with a new torso.
>>11755952He's on the new Maul body
>>11755932Not today it seems.
>>11755932>>11755934>>11755936Black Series chads have been eating good lately
>>11756025>blacked series """chads"""Know your place worse scale fags, 3.75 will always be the real star wars figure size
>>11755936Surprised they included something to support the lightsabers. Would have been nice to get that for Dagan Gera>>11755952>>11755964Yakface said he's new. Not sure if that means new from ground up or just reusing a newer body from some other fig
>11756026Left pic is how I imagine you every time you make an annoying scale war post.
>>11755932>>11755934>>11755936no fucking way dudei had an inkling they might remake nihilus at some point simply because they had the head already, but treya was on my never ever listfuck sake this year has a lot of shit i actually want
>>11756023It's live now.
>>11756026i would be inclined to agree with you if not for the absolute state of 3.75 in the last 10 years
>>11755932Holy shit, thank you. It's up now, just placed my preorder. I've been waiting for Kreia for fucking years, can't wait to feel like I'm losing influence every time I look at her on my shelf. I've already got Nihilus, which I did the Kylo head swap with. Regrettable that I once again have to rebuy a figure to get the one I really want, but it'll be interesting to compare the two at least.
>>11756082I don't think it's that much worse now than it was in 2012 when TVC first ended.
>>11756087This new one is apparently using ROTS Anakin as a base with the newer Maul's lower arms. So it should be a lot better than that first go-around.
>>11756091Yeah, looking more closely at it, I think it actually looks a lot closer to the mark than the head swap. The Kylo body was way better than the old Maul body for Nihilus, but I always thought the robes were too big. New one looks like it'll be a good upgrade overall, even if it is still a little annoying to have to buy multiple versions of the same figure to get the 'right' one. I guess that's just collecting though.
>>11756099considering that the original nihilus was a lazy cash grab from over 5 years ago, i don't mind that they put in a little more effort into the new onei think the set if mostly for traya anyways, nihilus getting included is just a bonus
>>11755780yeah after the park is more or less under control, hammond goes for a walk around the bungalow everyone was camped out atlex and tim are messing around with the speaker system and use a soundbite of the t-rex' roar and it spooks hammond, which causes him to trip and roll down a hill, breaking his ankle he realizes where the sound came from pretty quick and is pissed at lex and tim, but the compies pounce on him almost immediately
>>11755932Heck yeah, Traya looks great. I just made a kitbash Kreia out of some Acolyte figures, so this is perfect timing! Nihilus looks like a sidegrade to the Kylo body swap to me. The blending of soft goods and plastic has me a bit wary. It'll be fun to compare regardless. Most importantly, it's just great to be getting more KOTOR figures. Sion's gotta be coming soon.
>>11755932Already preordered
>>11755455w-what does the note say?
>>11755675It was all subversive bs.>you didn't expect THAT to happen did you?!
>>11755684
>>11756186Sick display, I love your Mandalorian Wars Revan. And it really is great to finally have some fuckin' food on the Kotor front, TBS Sion and HK next please.
>>11755936>>11755932anyone knows if they will be available in europe?
>>11754732>>11754935Everything in Disney Wars is a mess. They had some really good designs, hell Kylo Ren was hype as fuck with that crossguard lightsaber. Then you watch the movies and they are either underutilized, subverted because hacks can’t write anything else or wasted outright. It wasn’t hard to strike while the iron is hot. Why couldn’t they do that?
Revan understood snacks.
>>11755664>could buy any of the Bad Batch mutant clones>>>chose OmegaAnon?!
>>11756638Thanks! And nice pics! Ross Acolyte figures have really come in handy for customizing.
>>11756838Thanks, the new two pack has me feeling inspired to mess with the old figures a little. And they seem like great custom fodder, I was actually thinking of picking up a few for Revan to use as saber practice since they're so cheap.
>>11756562The art director, Rick Carter, shared some of the blame for that too.
>>11756979i've heard a theory that the lucas st was supposed to feature the planets we got a glimpse of during order 66, with felucia in particular having a decent amount of focus in one of them
>>11756981JJ wasn't going to make a film set on a planet with giant glowing blue fungi because he wanted to avoid the Prequel Trilogy's use of CGI sets. Also, it might have looked to similar to Pandora.
dead franchise sadly
>>11757180if it being a dead franchise causes them to release figures people actually want then so be it
>>11755952Looks like the new Maul body, which is better overall.
>>11756562>>11756979Genuinely awful. Imagine being the handed the keys and given a boat-load of ideas from George himself, with zero obligation to follow everything to the letter, only to completely throw it all away for a lesser rehash of the OT.
Two there should be. No more, no less. One to embody power, the other to crave it.
What happened to the Nihilus and Traya preorders?
>>11757770Nothing? The listing is still up and even open.
>>11757822Are you sure? I can't preorder it.
>>11757842It's closed now, but it was open when I reported so.
>>11756562>"he wasnt wrong, but he wasnt appreciating the pressure we were under ti give ardent fans a film that felt quintessentially star wars"I actually wish bob iger did go through with his presidential campaign bid just so he couldve gotten clipped during a campaign speech. Fucker wouldnt have had a chance in hell of winning anyways due to fucking ruining star wars. Actively gloating about how the ST are a rehash of the OT ie: the films worst attributes is why this man deserves to be skinned alive on live television.
>>11757964Aren't Shaak Ti's legs the old pin joint legs they've been reusing since 2016 Leia?
I plan to watch Maul. Therefore I think I should watch the Clone Wars. Do you think I should start by the episodes Maul is introduced or do you consider it good enough for me to watch it in full?
>>11758072just watch the parts of tcw that sound interesting, people have been hyping it up for years but it just isn't that good outside of a handful of episodes
>>11758072clone wars is disney so of course it's shit
>>11758072You could just watch the arcs that involve Maul starting in the 4th season when he comes back. It would only take a few hours to get through all of them. The most important ones that are tied to the new show are mainly the stuff with the Shadow Collective when he takes over ruling Mandalore and then the Siege of Mandalore from the final episodes of the series.
>*level up noise*
>>11757842will this become a scalper swhitshow?
Oof
>>11759022Very good likeness of Richard Hatch, very glad they got the Battlestar Galactica license
>>11759022I don't mind the stylized faces on these but this looks bad because the colors are completely wrong. Why is his hair brown and costume white? Bootleg tier inaccuracy
>>11758082>>11758093>>11758148Alright I found a guide with some synopsis. I guess anything Mandalorian-related is needed by default since I remember someone once posted a video that Maul defeats their king in single combat, meaning those are plot-relevant
>>11759268Honestly, I would just go ahead and watch Maul and if you like it and want more like it, then watch TCW or Bad Batch or whatever else you haven’t seen. If you haven’t seen TCW by now, you are a casual fan and casual fans don’t need to worry about lore. It’s not worth it to catch up on everything just for a lame Maul spin off that’s only a few episodes. And if you skip through things for time or laziness then you will always be a fake fan. I doubt it will be that hard to understand. Most things no matter how much background they have have basic writing elements like beginning, middle, end and character motivations. That is enough to get it overall and enjoy it. Star Wars canon is such a retarded mess now that there really isn’t even a point in catching up on pre Disney stuff to understand post Disney stuff because chances are the new thing contradicts the old thing anyway.
I don't usually buy custom cloth goods stuff, but does anyone know a good poncho for the stranger?
>>11759573https://hobby-genki.com/en/snail-shell-studio/81519-weathered-hooded-cape-desert-size-s-for-action-figure-snail-shell-studio--4902273516614.html
I picked up a 501st trooper from ross and saw that they had the praetorian guard in black series, didn't that wave JUST release? I remember seeing dark armor or whatever gideon a while ago as well.Is it really that bad?Though I guess that's kinda good for us, because I can only swallow a $20 figure thanks to these $5 finds. I recently bought a snow trooper from gaystop, so in a way, I payed ~$13 for each, which is better.
Its maul cops maul cops out?
>>11758669I love that version of the Starforge robe. It was such a cool end-game unlock.>still no Black Series HK-47, T3-M4 or CanderousBleh
>>11759766i almost always forget to grab the robe on my way to malak, but there's a really good T3 print file on thingiverse if you wanted to get one
>>11759766Me too, the art direction in both Kotors was just generally peak. And I think it's pretty ridiculous that we haven't gotten any of those characters either (HK especially), but Kreia gives me hope for the future. I was starting to wonder if we'd ever see her at any scale. I hope they put the effort in with Sion, I feel like he has the potential to be the coolest looking toy if they do him right.
>>11760200>I hope they put the effort in with Sion, I feel like he has the potential to be the coolest looking toy if they do him right.I'm concerned that they'll use the ugly Force Unleashed version of Sion.
>>11760367Yeah...that's my concern as well. It's really frustrating how often they'll pull from everything but the actual source material when it comes to designing EU figures.
New blokees look kinda fun. But besides the lack of c3po, I don't get why they made the Snowtrooper commander instead of a regular Snowtrooper
>>11760728I like the more animated style to them, feels like a continuation of the Galaxy of Heroes line. But I also was happy to see that they're 4" scale so they should work with the TVC playsets and vehicles as well
>>11760367They most likely will, since they've proven that they're lazy when it comes to looking for source material to base their sculpts on.
>>11760367They've been using Galaxy of Heroes more often than not, lately, so that'll probably be the case here
