I heard from a leaker that LEGO didn’t renew the DC license for characters other than Batman and his rogues gallery. He is not specifically a LEGO leaker, he usually covers movies and comics, so take it with a grain of salt. If that is true, it sounds like LEGO might only focus on Batman going forward, with no other DC characters outside of Batman and his rogues gallery.

Even if the builds tend to look on the ugly side the concepts are great and the use of dark greys mixed with red and yellow is still striking. Also spooky shit is awesome and bringing that into castle was a match made in heaven. That's why Fright Knights are loved despite their sets being pretty ugly, because they still exemplify what lego is.

>>11773895Conceptually it really should be the fright knights, love the idea of a gothic inspired faction, but their set selection is unfortunately pretty weak. Starting with dragon masters in 93 lego became obsessed with using URPs in castle sets and so many of medium to larger sets from that point up to the mid 2000s suffer for it.Personally I would say it's between the forestmen and black knights. The black knights are definitely the best faction in terms of the actual medieval knight aesthetics but I personally really love the way the sets of the forestmen line combine man made structures with nature so they're my personal favorite.

Although I never had a Tahu set myself (I preferred the Brown/Black/Blue sets because I like those colors and they tended to have designs I liked more) I was still a huge Bionicle fan so I'm happy to have him. The detailing is great, I love the casister, and I like how the fire part has a cool transparent shadow. Would be cool if they made more Bionicle minifigs in the future (I don't care if it's cosplayers they still look cool). Also mine came with an extra hilt for some reason, dunno if that's common across others. If anyone else has him, let me know.
