But usually I just try and include at least a third of "older" faces mixed in with the more plentiful newer. Mainly, I just try to use up all the heads I'm given, nut still keep classic soul feel. My partner doesn't really build, but collects "Lady minifigures" and switches all dude heads for female heads, so I end up with tons of CMF male heads to put on random characters I make. But no matter what, I need me some classic characters or heads in the mix.

I've already used all my spare green plates but I do have enough of those little green buds left to spread onto 6085's baseplate as well. Sea Serpent GWP inspired me to get into classic castle.

I'm leaving the peak scalemail of the 6085 guards alone, but swapping the archer's and guards pants for better matching colours. Got mini crash helms and visors coming for the knights as well as breastplates. I ordered 4 steel helmets and 4 crossbows (they look better than bows imo) for the archers, and 4 spears and axe heads to make modern halberds for the guards. I'm very excited for Lego Castle. I'll get the horse knight 3-in-1 castle eventually too as well as the more recent 3-in-1 medieval castle.

First off, I'd like to thank the fine folks at Citytron for volunteering what used to be their airfield for this exercise.Anyway, think I'm going to need to actually part it out by set before I can do anything productive with it. I know a lot of the smaller royal structures from the small sets were integrated into the castle somewhere or other, but for the life of me I can't remember where. Also was played with quite a bit by my younger brothers to whom I passed it on, so might have to see if anything is missing.
