Unfortunately, a lot of AI software completely ignores ROCM, and the open source communities patch them later. Always check to see if the specific software you want to use supports ROCM. You'll also probably have to patch most things to use ROCM if it doesn't support it out of the box. SDXL and FLUX and most 2D image gen can be set up for ROCM.Currently, 3D mesh generators do not support ROCM to the best of my knowledge.Hunyuan Video does not support ROCM.I don't know about WAN, you'll have to google it.

There are some 256Gb cards from china for around $1300 but the drivers are what they are. If you want to program it yourself you might be able to do something.The thing is the longer the video the more vram you need, this is why it started at 2-3 seconds, then 5-6 seconds and now 10 seconds is becoming normal.Comment too long.
