Val does what big entertainment media has forgotten how to do.
Might have to sand it down a little first but Kal's gonna get blinged up
This explains why the girl looked the way she did in that patreon pic where Kass got turned into a baxxid.
>>79932764
>>79932750Ir she'll make the horn fitted to slide down over the base of the broken one instead of fitting it on top.Like a wig, but for horns.
>>79933641>A satisfying clunkShe's revolutionizing the industry of fashionable Baxxid prosthetics
Or the equivalent of a fake mustache.
If I could draw I'd do a comic where she takes his input on the design and it ends up like that simpsons episode where homer designs a car
>>79932674Don't let that creature near you with that piece of chalk, Kal!She's gonna scribble dicks all over your head plate!
I shall now post more ying profiles.
>>79932774There should be a panel where Kassen dreams this.
>>79937230During the 200 pages of egg?
>>79932750Nell is about to start a new baxxid fashion trendBoneworms lining up around the corner to get sanded down and blinged up while the knowing few feebly beg them to stay away from the dick banshee

For those concerned about their BoldKobold merch orders, my Kass keychain arrived today.Very high quality, the color areas are separate rubber pieces all molded into the black base. They will not rub off like paint, and they should not separate from the base.So yes, they are fulfilling orders.Mine arrived by UPS on the doorstep. If you purchased the keychain alone, look for a 5x5x1/2" white plastic bubble-pack. Keep track of it and pick it up before the porch pirates do.
>>79938074Calm down, Shane.
>>79939868You list this one as female, yet refer to him as male throughout.
>>79940216...Thank you for pointing that out LMAO! Might as well look it over again while I am at it.
>>79932674>>79932686> Val does the thing which is most natural for the story> by considering the nature of the characters involved and letting them act according to their characterfinallya good and competent story writernow why cant hollywood do this?>>79932764> Nell and Kal to switch speciesBut would they have also switched their sexes as Kass did?>>79933641>Like a wig, but for horns.I imagine it would have to be designed in a way that would allow the bone to regenerate in a protected manner, without damaging or reshaping it any further. It should be something that Kalgkur could put on or take off as he wants. No new carved channels and no application of glue by a human hand helper.Basically it would be a hat, but made of metal and shaped as the original horn was but in slightly larger scale; no visible seams and no rivets. If Kalgkur was not injured, from a distance it would look like he decided to give his horn a chrome, or wax-polished finish, or that someone had smoothed some foil leaf over it. Up close it would look like he had a custom made hat for the horn shape. The design to accomplish this, i think, would be a leather headband that fits around the bone stump, which is connected to the metal horn piece by braised/welded metal wires which stitch into the leather headband. (in a way such that no metal ever scrapes bone) The metal horn piece would be long enough to cover the leather headband, and because the connections are welded internally, the entire thing is seamless. This lets:- Kalgkur equip and remove the prosthetic as he wants, without external help.- The prosthetic fall away if too much force is applied to it, avoiding damage to the bone.- The bone stay as it is, without modification or risk of further injury.- The headband can be replaced by Nell or any leatherworker as it gets worn out, and the metal horn piece reattach to the headband- The metal horn piece be repaired or replaced by Nell or any metalworker as needed
>>79940216There we go! That's what I get for recycling instead of starting fresh.
>>79940461>a leather headband that fits around the bone stumpAnd by this i mean the headband acts like a rubber band ring around the tip of your finger; NOT like a chin strap for your head.
>>79940461Hollywood does not make movies to entertain the masses, they make movies to market to the masses as broadly as possible for maximum profitability. They are little more than checklists at this point, and the list has not been updated for too long.As for Kal's hat, Zhretta is going to have many questions. It may even turn into a game of keep away for a moment if Kal does not want her to see his "bald spot".
>>79940903>Hollywood does not make movies to entertain the masses, they make movies to market to the masses as broadly as possible for maximum profitability.Strange how the exact opposite is happening.
>>79941023Depends on how you look at it. To the studio execs the fact that only producing bland checklist slop is extremely unlikely to produce anything extemely popular is outweighed by the fact that appealing to the lowest common denominator means a gaurenteed retrun on investment.Basically trying to make something good means you're gambling on your production money, sure you might turn millions into billions but you might also flop. While fromulaic slop won't give you a massive return on investment it will reliably give you more money than you put in.
>>79941023The metrics by which they base their data on are flawed, so the models give results contrary to their money making intentions. They are still a for profit industry, gone are the days where art was still a mainstay factor.
>>79941191A lot of modern movies have shit the bed on revenue though. Partly because the costs but because formulaic slop mixed with political browbeating turns off people who actually pay for it. Trying to capture people who were never fans to begin with is a gamble in itself. You also have to balance that with retaining the fanbase you already have.
>>79940481A lot of them do feel way too young for their stations.
>>79944117They are, in reality. However, the way this Enclave works is completely different from how a typical Yinglet Enclave would because of the space rock. The space rock Mozher found forces an expansion of the mind and as a side effect increases intelligence and personality. Mozher and Fazher being rebels, they ended up making the Enclave system from scratch from their whims rather than relying on tradition.Using the space rock on their pups was another decision that paid off, because it essentially boosted their intelligence by a few years without changing the mental elasticity that comes with age. So ultimately you end up with a Yinglet Enclave with a bunch of teenage masters of their craft. And this works for Mozher because then she can make all the high quality yings she wants.
>>79932686I also really don't want to start going "Oh crap they guessed what's going to happen in some upcoming part, so I'm gonna change it." Plus, it would rob the people who've successfully put something together from the breadcrumbs I leave around from the satisfaction they rightfully deserve for figuring it out :VAt most, I might clarify something on a later page if there's something in the story I meant to convey, which it seems a lotta people weren't clear on. There's plenty of things I'm content to leave vague and let people wonder about, but once or twice there's been something that I really want the reader to be clear on, but then I read the comments and realized it might not have been as clear as I intended.
