But it does do a pretty good job of portraying those kinds of scenes, with Onikakushi being a highlight. The scenes of Keiichi going nuts with the bat and clawing his throat in the phone both are a lot more visceral than in either the sound novel or manga.And yeah second season is especially worth watching because it's closer to the source material.

An affini “friend” (I use the term very loosely) insisted on spending time with me at my home. I was watching a horror movie and she reacted very badly. Apparently seeing such terrible things happen to cute Terrans and Terrans doing them without any affini in sight to fix it really rubbed her the wrong way. Not only did she shut down the movie she set it so that I can’t watch that stuff even when she’s not there because “I should not be watching such filth, she will not stand for it.” I got it really mad and screamed at her and I assume she drugged me because I woke up in bed the next morning.
