First goal is for short term cooperation to minimize the pain for everyone. Second goal is to make humanity change itself to fix our own overpopulation problem. Long term, having fixed the overpopulation issue, humanity withdraws from Pandora. In the short term it's not enough to keep Eywa passive and reactive unless humanity changes in the medium term.As magical as unobtanium is presented to be, building a handful of starships is stupid. Instead, we would use it to build fast and efficient localized ships. All of them company owned ships (PROFIT!), to mine Earth's solar system for fuel. A sufficient number of old school (company owned) fission power plants solves humanity's energy crisis.As the background of Avatar states, aside from transforming Earth into an ecological shithole, we've colonized Mars. All this implies we have the technological prowess to terraform Earth back into a decent place to live, with plenty of profit to be made along the way.Anyway, back to /Collared/ mode, next post...
