Sorry for spamming. I am back on my meds (egregious amounts of coffee), and I'm here to share a lesson I've learned.Every time I have trouble with art, it's because I'm trying to copy someone else. Either their technique, or their process, or whatever. Now, of course there's an infinite amount of knowledge we can learn from others' art, and you should do proper study, BUT--your process is your own. Allow yourself to learn it, and trust it. This may not be perfect, but it's a hell of a lot better when I just let myself fuck around and find out, rather than try to copy someone else.Now feel free to tell me how shit it is.
