( :) )
(Also very appropriate Starmie pics!)

>Star listens, and has Taner hear and see it through her own eyes and ears... sorta
>It's more like he's getting a description or memory of it right after it happens than a Realtime view, but at least he has an idea of what's going on
>Star actually doesn't seem to have much trouble understanding that-- she may not have a perfect memory, but the old post of "I.G.Y" were notable enough to her that she remembers what they were well
>She recalls that Solridge was destroyed during a bombing raid, and then the curse occurred shortly afterwards, one that trapped people in a terrible 'purgatory' state in which their deaths would be repeated over and over, and she recalls Hiram mentioning the fate of Fukamachi and his love... Herschel and most of the others were only mentioned to Zapman, I believe, so Star wouldn't know as much about them
>Her and Taner's mind both work together on putting together what Herschel is saying at the same time, with no words needed between the two for it
>It sounds like Hiram knew someone named Tabitha who is also in the village-- previously, Star assumed that was Herschel's trainer, but perhaps it was a friend (or more) of Hiram's who is still stuck there... and Herschel keeps reminding him? Perhaps trying to get him to go back? Star's sure he would go back and fix things if he felt he was able to, as the Herschel says, he has a good soul-- it was quite easy for Star and Taner to tell that, even in just their limited interaction with him here and online
>And now, Taner can see Herschel too
>He listens
>This sounds pretty clear cut, as far as what happened goes, though did Hiram really get out, or is he stuck in something like that too? Is that why he hasn't gone back-- if he frees the town of the curse, does something happen to him as well, so instead he's trying to do as much good as he can before going back?
>Star nods at the instructions to protect
<Always.>
>That's what she does

Goodnight everyone!

>>77480417
>If Herschel told them, it was for a reason
>Taner turns to Star
"He probably won't ask for help, when the time comes, will he?"
>Taner says, speaking of Hiram, though he's still unsure he's understanding correctly, that's where he thinks that this was going
>Star seems to be on the same page, at least for the moment
<We need to keep our eyes and ears open. It is possible that we can not help in this. But it is also possible that we can. And if we can? I know you have already decided.>
>Taner nods, Star's right
"If we can, we will."
>Then
"We just need to get him to realize that he's not alone."

>Dream, on the table, says
"I think I'm going in my Friendball now!"
>And does just that
>Though Taner will be giving those pills exactly as instructed, in the future

>>77480545
"I was labeled as a criminal pretty quickly into my attempts to be a trainer. But looking back, that's for the best, I grew a lot from being forced to go on the run."
>Then, a small laugh
"Yeah, I was worried I'd meet a version of myself like that, too!"

"Really? Tsk."
>Pyrite shakes his head, like he's once again disappointed in his other self
>Then, his interest comes back, and so does Comfort's
"A rescue mission you say? I've done hundreds of those. But if not from Eridani, then from whom?"
>Then, his eyes widen
"Genderswapping magic? Oh my. Got any of that on you now? I guess I do have another thing in common with the other me, I'd love to take that to my world and try it myself!"
>Comfort dips back into the backpack with a "syyyyyll!"
>Doesn't sound like a protest, more like being overwhelmed with shyness
>Then, serious again
"I'll make sure he is!"
>Pryrite says with confidence
>He smirks then
"Oh no, they'd never allow that! But for more serious battles, it can be a lifesaver to be able to switch so quickly."
>Much like the Pokecube, even without many resources Team Revolt is good at thinking outside the box

Is a power-up like that fair when Machamp didn't get anything?
(neat mega though)

>>77481841
"Oh yeah? Maybe my world's Taner is better at staying out of trouble! Which would be impressive, considering he's really bad at that."
>Doro smirks
"Could still happen. Neither of us have left the cave yet. Who knows what'll happen when we separate?"

"Yeah, he's really committed to Star, and only Star. It's kinda sweet, honestly."
>Doro looks between the two of them.
"I don't know if I ever asked the actual name of the place."
>If Repose is still here after being revived, he likely knows the story better than Doro.
>As for his next question, the Zoroark blushes, glancing away.
"Uh... not right now, no. I, uh... you should ask around any Mismagius covens or Mimikyu you know, they're the... experts on that sort of stuff."
>For the sake of Comfort's dignity, Doro doesn't tease him about it, he knows the feeling, he knows it oh so well.
>His promise gets a smile out of Doro.
"Thanks."
>With some like Pyrite looking out for them, he feels just a bit better about his alternate world self.
"Fair enough! Taner had an idea in my world about a sort of... backpack with a hose he could wear to spray long-range potions and other healing items from afar, don't know if that ever made it past the concept stage. Seemed like a neat way for him to support his pokemon from afar during battle."
>The ability to communicate while inside is pretty neat, honestly Doro's surprised nobody made anything like that in his world.

>What better hint than something that could be used to identify him?

>At +2 SpDef, the Liger model has estimated that it can take the next hex and maintain operative conditions
>...except it never hit?

"I hate to repeat myself, but-- staying out of trouble sounds a little wimpy."
>Then
"Do you want to jinx it? Because that, right there, is exactly how you jinx it."

>Mr.Pyrite seems to consider that
"Nothing wrong with commitment like that, but damn if it wouldn't feel constraining. Hell, maybe he just has more restraint than me. Don't know how to feel about that."
>The Pokecube on his belt chimes in
"Most people have more restraint than you. Not that I'm complaining."
>Who is in that cube?
>Repose is around if he's been revived
>The Umbreon has faded into the shadows, Mr.Pyrite may not even be aware he's there!
>Repose wonders if Star may have picked a different name in Pyrite's universe-- after all, she picked the name "Star" based on a compliment Taner gave on her eyes, so if she didn't meet Taner... but how would she even be alive at that point? Meeting someone else? Taner isn't the only trainer with a good heart out there by a longshot, after all
>Repose feels he's not suited to be the one to figure all that out
"Covens? Can't say as I get along with most covens, but I'll look into that, thanks!"
>Unlike Fea, he seems to try NOT to embarrass Doro any more, despite his frankness about the topic

>At the very least, from the look in his eyes, Doro can say that Pyrite is the type to take promises like that seriously
>Also, if the Spirit in Pyrite's world is anything like she was in Doro's, they probably get along pretty well
>Now, Pyrite looks curious at that
"Spraying potions long range... now that's an idea indeed... I'll have to prepose that to R&D, it sounds like something they could really work with!"

>>77462901

>This is a lot of Porygon 2 for one man
>Reminds Mr.Pryite of the time they had to free a bunch of Pokemon locked in cyberspace

>It does look like the Hex never hit

>Once is a coincidence, twice
>"I'm going to break that mirror."
>Nova says
>At least the first one hit
>I believe, sadly for Nova, that makes it Model 4's turn again...

>Model-04 v1.5 "Liger" 4.5/6 +2 SpDef

>In response to Stibium...
"Well... sounds like you had a real rough time."
>The fox crosses his arms, giving Flow an unsure look.
>She just shakes her head. Doro gives the man an apologetic look
"Can't say I have. Admittedly I wouldn't even know the first place to look."
>But he can tell what Stibium's worried about, even if he doesn't want to say it out loud.

>As for Pyrite
"Maybe. I guess we're all just a bit wimpy, huh?"
>The fox just shrugs.
"Right. Sorry."

>Their back and forth gets an amused smile out of Doro
"Maybe that's the major difference between you two? But yeah I don't think he feels restrained at all."
>Doro has a few guesses, but it's hard to be certain just from a few words
>The silent watcher, invisible and undetectable
>In the end, Doro would rather assume Star's still alive somewhere in their world.
>Onto the topic of witches
"A lot of them don't have very high opinions of anyone who isn't a ghost, come to think of it I don't think they have high opinions of other ghosts either."
>That's one thing he's very thankful for, he can hardly handle even one Fea.

>Considering she did still meet Julius and Flow, it's very likely she's very similar
>It's likely, even if she has her own goals that have nothing to do with any League business, her and Pyrite would probably agree on a whole lot of things
>Doro smiles
"You didn't think of that already, huh? At least now it feels like more of a fair trade since I'm getting a copy of those special blueprints, heh."

You are SAYING that you don’t know me enough to trust in me¡ While here I am knowing EEVEERYTHING about you, you say that I’m a kind of STRANGER an unknown. I am HURT now¡ Maybe you are racist against Paldeans. Nope, there is no other way of quickly adding energy to a rock.
NEVAHR true art is done for free¡ Once you sell out you can never recover the whimsical desire of just doing it for the pleasure of it¡ That’s what I’ve learned from the hummies dolla corrupts art.
That doesn’t sound like the best idea, it’d be more warm bodies for the machine. Also, it’d increase your competition your whole gimmick would no longer be a gimmick¡

>>77480116 (Tanner)
Hmm I see, it is good that you are doing something against these bad hummies to protect mons, even at your own sanity. Gambate Tanner-SAN~
Woow so Star have never EEVEER done the thing where she breaks some fine china and then hitting the hummie with the BABY DOLL EYES¡ Next to have him apologizing for getting angry and cleaning up the mess themselves. Never experienced the ability to do EVERYTHING and getting away with it....
I am not risking my candy supply, she has the kind of candy you can't find in stores.

Wow Tanner you shouldn’t be saying they don’t need you here¡ They might read this and get some INTERESTING ideas, about ditching your ass or something. You are an important part, THE most important part, the boss of the whole operations and I am sure if any of the vees step out of the line there will be REPERCUSSIONS¡

You, uh, definitely don't know everything about me. Like I said I haven't met you! Not that we can't be friends of course. Also no, I didn't even know you were Paldean. Are you sure? No way at all?
Well you probably have a point there actually, truly you are dedicated to your play-doh craft.
You're acting like they sacrifice trainers or something. Also I don't want it to be a gimmick! It should be a normal thing any pokemon can do!

That’s what you think but I know more about you than you do¡ I am just THAT good.
SO¿ How does that affect any of this, just picture me like another FAE and trust in everything I say. Then you must have another prejudice that I am part of, MEENI.
Maybe if you put a battery inside the rock, but I don’t have batteries or rock-hole-makers
Yeah, but I branch out, the play-doh runs out like most things I KEEP looking for other stuff to make cute things out of.
THEY DO¡ in a figurative way, you need to see more informative content DORO, everything is controlled by a few hummies in the TOP. Okay, but there should be hummies x hummies battles with mons as the trainers... it’s only fair

You should try that, maybe you'll invent a very energetic rock.
Evolving from play-doh to crayons, I see I see...
Uhh... what sort of stuff are you watching, wha-et? Actually yeah sure why not, I know at least one human that wants to participate in Pokemon battles, she'd definitely agree with you!

Bad humans, bad mons, any bad person doing bad things to others better watch out, because Taner and Star will be here to save the day!
That sounded cheesy but I felt good typing it!
Uh, well, I won't say that Star hasn't been able to use the fact that she's the cutest Pokemon on the entire planet to, um, get away with things. But I've been asked not to provide any examples. Cutely. So I won't.
But she uses that great power with great responsibility!
Fair enough!

I mean, they've told me before that they want me here, so even if they don't need me, they'll keep me around! Also, um, I'm useful on account of being a human who can buy things and do lots of useful stuff. I'm pretty sure they'd keep me for my cooking skills alone!
Um, don't know what to say about that last part, aside from that's not how trainers work. Again, think less, um, "army admiral" and more "sport's team coach/chief tactician/face of the party."

>That can't be good

"Umm... only one I can think of would be Sam. Makes a lot of gadgets and stuff, though I'm pretty sure he doesn't have a Magnezone or Porygon Z."
>The fox nods
"Yeah it would be useless in my claws. Gonna give it to him, he knows his stuff."

>The call began, it appeared with Raiha, Calus, and Haukea, each in a separate location.
>Raiha was sat at a desk, the labratory around her filled with specimens of an unknown variety. How hard had she been at work. Haukea, sat closer to Alola, seemed to be in some kind of resort. Was it Aehter related? Hard to tell. Calus was out in the field, somewhere where there was greenery.
>He was the first one to address S-512, and his tone didn't sound too impressed. In a thick, Fioren accent, his vim showed itself prompt.
"This is the one you've put so much stock in, Raiha? He doesn't look like he can hold his own in a fight."
>Haukea sounded just as skeptical, her Alolan-Unovan drawl not that much lighter.
"To me he looks like your type, Raiha. Sniveling. Hiding behind experiments."
>Raiha let out a laugh and slapped her knee.
"Well aren't you two so warm and welcoming!? If I didn't know any better, Haukea, I'd say you're still trying to recover from your loss to Daycare! Why's that? Still sore?"
>Haukea immediately scoffed, but it looked as though she was angrier.
"To hell with you, damned bird."

>Stibium doesn't need magic, he has technology

>To Stibium, Pyrite says
"It's a very interesting place, for sure. But when things like this happen, I get the feeling that I'm only a few steps from being lost in another world forever. Or something worse."
>He shrugs

>Repose decides that he's going to say something

>Calus smiled at that.
"One who knows the importance of secrecy at least. I can appreciate that."
>For the first time in the time that S-512 has possibly known him, Calus clapped. Haukea, meanwhile, scratched her chin, her white hair flowing in the wind of an open window.
"To prove your worthiness? How can a sniveling scientist prove their worthiness?" she asked, not bothering to hide any sort of contempt from her voice. "Raiha trusted you, and already that makes me not trust you. You lab types always have a screw loose."
>Raiha laughed again, this time she slapped her knee. She shook her head and then gave S-512 a wink.
"What do you have to prove, or rather, what have you planned? Calus has something planned himself."
>Calus nodded.
"Icirrus City has been weakened ever since our mercenary's assault. As such, their reserves containing special Pokemon for new trainers has been left wide open."
>He let out a sigh.

"And can't help our world if we leave it, don't we?"

>Someone better translate for Repose
>But assuming someone does
"Dr. Steele, alas, I am not him. In fact, there is little much of his online, other than various papers on nanotech research. Enlightening, but difficult to implement at any amount of scale."
>Magnezone and Metagross are both pokemon that Dr. Steele and Mr. Stibium have in common. Though desu, I forgot Dr. Steele had a Magnezone
"That said, I am interested in what you say about speaking from the mind. Who is this Mho?"
>Now you got his full attention

>And, the battle
>Direct 1.0 damage, lowered to 0.5 due to Burn, and also discount 0.5 due to two turns of burn that I forgot to add (burn itself lowered due to Heatproof)
>The Liger model keeps up with the Thunder Fang, not having enough battery for Charge/Discharge cycles. But maybe, just maybe, enough to finish the fight, before Hex rips through it

>Doro pauses.
"I wanna say it's like a symbol of their bond, but I never actually asked them about it before."
>Guess that's something he'll have to do next time he sees him
>As for Comfort...
"Oh?"
>He wonders what that could mean
>Doro shrugs in response to Pyrite's surprise
"Well, mostly. There's some real bad ones that needed to be dealt with. But like 99% of them behave themselves."
>A very generous figure, really

>The fox pauses, thinking for a moment
"Uh, well it could've been a very similar world to yours. I don't actually know it was you specifically, but those certainly seem like the cubes Taner was talking about."
>Very strange coincidences indeed

>As for Stibium
"You, uh, don't look so good."
>Clearly it's not pleasant for him right now

"Well, yeah! Problem is I'm about the furthest thing from a robotics expert, so I'm sadly not very helpful on the topic..."
>The fox nods.
"If Sam isn't the guy, I bet he knows a guy."

>Doro nods in agreement with Repose and Stibium
"Yeah! I have my illusions, but if every pokemon could talk with humans, I think a lot would change very quickly."

Seems like you need to invent a more chaotic form of ghost magic to compete!
I'd like to! But I also don't want my trainer license revoked because I pelted a trainer too hard and they get a concussion or something.

I can fit through doors in that form! I already promised so I can't back out of the event now...
Also, I thought you weren't gonna invoke Kong's wrath anymore?
>>
>>77527928
That ain't how it works bucko. It's a typing sort of thing. Ghost-types are all about the barrier between living and death, the in-between of things, the twisting of the knots and tapestries that make up the weavings of the world and rearranging them. It's old magic with old ways for an old world.
And it just wouldn't feel proper witchy. Anyway, you're a trainer too. Sounds like self-defense to me. And you can always just fake a goose egg, lmao.

Oh yeah? Before or after the doorframe's been removed? And she hardly even comes online anymore. I mostly just see her hanging out with/around Crimson anyway

Well, if you wanna compete you gotta have something new. Maybe advertising? Not sure how you'd advertise hexes and stuff though.
Well probably, but why risk it? I think challenging them to a battle and winning is good enough!

Before, Beryl! There were only a few were I had any trouble and- actually ignore that.
Yeah that's true enough. But you never know, Crimson might tell her all about it

"As ever, so professional, so punctual. And that's what I love about you, S-chan," Raiha snickered. "Behind that mask, the same soul that yearns to break free of human notions of ethics lies. You think as I do, you feel as I feel. That our curiosity must be sated, the law, and whatever else is too afraid of knowing be damned."
>If she wasn't pumped up before, it seemed that S-512's plan about the Aether Foundation has Raiha excited. A fact which displeased Haukea, but made Caelus give a cocksure smile.
"Kohryu will only see your face once, most of us just choose not to wear masks out of principle. Even she wears a mask herself. I believe... no one but the Golden Beast Of Lightning has seen her face," he explained. "You and her would get along with the whole 'mask' thing, I don't have time, nor the patience to hide my face. So, I respect it."
>Haukea huffed.
"I do not. As much as I respect both Kohryu and the Golden Beast, the idea of hiding behind something is a farce. As for me, I've already conquered the largest hurdles in my path."
>Caelus raised a brow.
"And that would be?"
>Haukea, without changing her expression at all, spoke.
"Destroying an entire village of trainers who were like that insolent young man, on equal skill, unfettered by outside interference of old- nihilistic men. And in t he end, the elder defied me, too. He, too, fell. But my conquest will not be complete."
>Caelus laughed, shaking his head.
"No, that'd be that Williams boy, yes?"
>Haukea once again remained stout.
"He represents everything I despise. I will not focus upon ZODIAC's decree until I prove that I am mightier."
>Raiha had to hold in a laugh, but turned her attention back to S-512.
"Suffice to say, S-chan. We're all on board with your plan, and are willing to front a~ny supplies you may need. Once you grab that data, send it to me, oh, and be sure to cause as much collateral as possible!"
>Her smile widened.
"Makes it more fu~n."

I don’t think it’d work, since I’ve licked the batteries and I haven’t gained any special POWERS from them... they just taste funny.
It’s CALLED vision and I have BIG eyes
See Doro, I have GOOD ideas. Now be a good boy and defeat the elite 4 on each region, crown yourself god-emperor of the gym-industrial complex and get back to me ASAP¡¡¡

I, um, already have to do a dance for the Z-move with a pose. Dancing is something Dream's more into. And I'm certainly not doing a song/speech during the dance. Not unless I got some power boost from it. Then I'd consider it!
Again, I'm not saying she doesn't do it, as she says, "it'd be foolish to waste a resource that's so readily available" but, she's responsible with her power!
Uh, that's, not the words I'd use, exactly. No alpha here, just a big team working together, even the leadership duties are shared, though it's me and Star doing most of the "administrative" work together, so the others can focus on things that are more important to them.
We're a family, so we've never really needed to do a discipline thing, know some trainers-- most even-- end up with Pokemon who are younger/less mature than them so they end up treating the position more like they are a parent as well as coach, and there's nothing wrong with that, but that's not how it turned out with us.

>Repose now moves into a different shadow

>As for how Star would have reacted... she no doubt would have inquired to it, but she wouldn't be putting pressure on Stibium, without knowing the context she'd reserve judgement
>It seems almost like a medical condition at this point, and it's not like she doesn't have transhumanist (transpokemonist?) leanings herself

>The battle rages on
>Not much longer now, but Nova is still standing, if only barely
>I'm assuming another Thunder Fang was used? And that post was the roll? And it does .5 because of the burn? So that leaves Nova standing at 0.75?
>Those Leftovers coming in clutch
>Nova is going to use Hex again, of course
>The opponent is still burned, so it still does double the damage, and Nova has the strong feeling that this opponent, despite the Steel type appearance, isn't weak to fire
>Hits on 1-8 that isn't dubfail

>Back to the conversation...
"A symbol of their bond? What an odd thing to pick for it to symbolize."
>He seems off balance for the first moment during all this insanity, but quickly recovers, reaching a hand down to paw one of Comfort's ribbons
>As for the ghost thing...
"They mostly send me out on diplomatic missions now, so I'm just judging by the fact even despite that I've had more, ahem, non-diplomatic missions with ghosts than otherwise."

>Pyrite shakes his head
"I've seen more insane coincidences, though not often."

>Mr.Pyrite is concerned for Stibium's health, but there's not much he can offer-- at least, not at the moment
>At the line of conversation of Pokemon talking with humans, Pyrite nods
"Yeah, we're working on that ourselves."

>Except the horrific experimentation, that is part of the fun
"As the saying goes, keep your friends closer, and your enemies even closer."
>But who is his enemies and friends, anyway? He may be mostly just paranoiac
>Still, he listens
"Fascinating story. Just remember, borrowed power is still power."
>As in, he is willing to lend a hand. or a whole batch of his own kind combat drugs
"Even in Aether's 'care', many pokemon are not willing to stay caged, and may just need a little boost to make it everyone's problem. Enter the Obsidian Injector, derived from experiments with the Shard of Giratina"
>And looking back for a moment, to a Galarian Slowking with a peculiar turban. A pokemon Raiha may recognize as the so far one and only Distortion Shade. Meanwhile, the monitor shows some sort of large, spike like device
"Albeit it has to be applied per single pokemon at a time, the shock and awe of these still imperfect New Variant Shades can not be understated."
>The mere prospect of more test subjects make the Slowking cackle madly

>Raiha took one look at the data and began to chuckle. One might have swore she licked her lips had she not covered it up with her gloves.
>For their part, Caelus and Haukea ignored it and instead focused on the part of the mission.
"Very well," Caelus said, wiping his nose. "You will invade the Aether Foundation, cause havoc, steal data, and give the Alolans a taste of our power. Once this is done, we will award you the title of the Azure Dragon. I'm fairly certain if you don't choose your name, Raiha, in all her infinite wisdom, would give you one."
>Raiha puffed out her chest and shrugged.
"It's about time someone acknowledged it!"
>Haukea sighed and tossed a Pokeball in one of her hands. Of note, it seemed all her Pokemon were kept in regular balls, unlike Caelus who used Greats, and Raiha... whichever!
"I am in agreement as well," she huffed.
>Raiha clapped her hands and blew a kiss.
"Make me proud, S-chan! Show those little chess-piece miscreants what real chaos looks like!"
>With that, the meeting adjourned, and the emblem denoting ZODIAC, an X with various code rings around it, fizzled out. All at once, the images of the other admins disappeared.
>Raiha? Pleased. Caelus? Impressed. Haukea? Begrudgingly accepting.
>There was, however, some questions to mull over, perhaps on S-512's side. Who was this Kohryu they spoke of? And the Golden Beast? How far did this rabbithole into Zodiac go down? And what of Williams? What did Haukea want with him?
>Time slowed in the hourglass of Zodiac, but the alarm clock that was S-512's plans had resumed.
>Chaos reigned. And soon, it would find the Aether Corporation.

>Then, the Pokecubes
"Thanks, I wish I could take credit for more than just the idea and gathering the resources for them. And yeah, it'd be better if we could give every human a translator instead, but that's an even harder problem. Even if we could figure it out, we'd have to force it on a lot of humans."
>He doesn't say that like it's bad because he wouldn't do it, rather that it'd be a difficulty that he absolutely would do

"You know, it's too bad we can't control what universes this cave connects us if, or if it does at all. Imagine being able to trade information and tech with people from multiple universes on the regular!"

>Taner and Star do have a worry, about becoming a "Gestalt" by accident, thankfully it hasn't happened

They are, huh? Guess I'll see it myself when I get around to traveling through all of Johto one of these days.

"Makes sense! No risk of anyone crossing entire universes just to get information out of me."
>As far as Doro knows anyway
"Wait, like the whole healing machine? That must've been quite the heist."

You know, it's been so long since another trainer posted that I'm a bit surprised, though I do think I've heard of you at one point, I think from Zapman. He knows everyone.
Is a motorcycle easier to get around on then a bicycle? I feel like there are only a few Routes that are good for motorcycle travel but imagine it must be great in the cities!

Star says thanks for the compliment! She's very smart. In fact, I'm lucky she and her family are so smart, none of them really cause me problems, and they often help with things! If that wasn't the case, I'm pretty sure I'd have been really overwhelmed at this point. I've, uh, also ended up with more than six companions.
Fio looks ballar as well, if you don't mind me borrowing your word! Even if she has a mischievous streak. Always cool to see more mons with a cool scarf, too!

>>77548445
"Exactly!"
>Pyrite says
>He probably only gets told things Team Revolt doesn't mind other people knowing
"Yeah, ghost deals aren't for fun... Unless I guess it's a deal to gender swap, don't want to imagine what that cost you!"

>There is is indeed
"Hopefully that's because the good actually outweigh the bad, and not because you are just being treated like a celebrity. Though even still, that's clearly a problem! Hey, as long as you have your celebrity status, you should record a clip of everyone who throws a ball at you and post it to your Mewtube channel, to publicly shame them!"

>>77549039
>>77546552
>Mr.Pyrite is, expectedly, still in perfect agreement

>Then
"Yeah. They know to be careful, but again, some of them are real experts, so if anymon can help, they can."

>And as for that
"Well, perhaps other worlds even have better higher powers."

>That sounds entirely too painful
>Taner probably wouldn't be able to do it

>The post ended in 9
>The Hex missed
>But was this post your roll for thunder fang? It also ended in 9 lol
>So, if that's the case, here's another Hex roll!

Don't mind me saying you look damn good for a guy. You got style, pizazz, flare. Like that's a seriously well maintained coat. I'd show off my Absol fur but I left it at my folks. Besides, it's still summer anyways.
>Ilex Forest
No shit? Just went there last week. Hell of a place to meditate and practice martial arts. The Farfetch'd from the charcoal people got out again, so I had to help with that. Great place, though. Have run into the leader of Azalea a few times there. Nice fellow. Tsuki, my Ariados, can't really stand him. Don't know why.

>>77549175
Motorcycle is damn fun, but sometimes a bike lets you go places that you couldn't dream of going. I kind of miss when I was into BMX. Motorcycles are great in cities, cars are nice, but bikes out in the wilderness are great for doing all kinds of stuff. Me? I have a Palossand, so she tends to just take me anywhere.
>Star says thank you!
Well, hey, she's earned it.
>Fio is baller as hell.
Now that's gonna go to her head, I swear. She loves wearing that scarf all the time. Hasn't taken it off since she wants to get stronger so she can spar with "Big Brother Mho", who's Zap's Electrivire. I ain't sure how a scarf helps, but hey, I'm the dude with the golden aviators. How far along are you in the Kalos challenge? Heard they got some interesting Gyms over there.

>>77549194
Yo, Sam, how's it? Glad to see you. Maria was also the one who convinced me to come outta my shell. I both like it and hate it, because on the one hand it's nice to be outside, on the other there's a lot of people asking questions when I'm out.

>Probably a good call on their part
>Doro chuckles at that
"Actually pretty much every time it's happened to me wasn't my idea. The first time was a potion from my Mismagius girlfriend."
>Ironically, Doro doesn't actually know what Tempest would charge for a genderswap potion

>>77549424
Don't worry I'm used to it. And yeah taking care of my mane and fur takes some serious work so I'm glad to know there's people who notice! Good to hear you're taking care of their fur, I've seen more than a few trainers who clearly don't properly groom their furry pokemon.
Yep, haven't visited in a while though. Been pretty busy with all the other regions I've been traveling to.
Hmm. Can't say I've met them so I wouldn't know why. Come to think of it, don't think I've met an Ariados outside of trainer battles either. Probably a good thing, might've ended up spider food if that happened while I was a Zorua.
>>
>>77549194
Hi! I figure you probably were the Sam he was talking about in that first post. Any friend of yours, I know is going to be cool!

Taught Mho some things? Now that's... a little frightening, to be honest! Not to Star though, now she's wondering what a battle would be like.

>>77549424
I can also fold up my bike enough to fit it into my trainer backpack and take it anywhere. I'm not sure I could do the same for a motorcycle. Still, I've gotta admit, motorcycles are very cool.
Though I'd I need to get anywhere really fast, I'd fly on Dredd, he's a Corviknight and a really chill bird despite the name!

Thankfully, I don't have to worry about things going to Star's head, at least not from other people, she gets enough compliments from me that I'm surprised she's able to stay so humble. She's got a really good head in her shoulders though. She posts here sometimes, but a lot less often than me because using paws to type is hard, even with a touch screen pen.

Sparring with Mho? Zapman implied as much. You know, I don't have any trouble believing it, if anyone knows that the size of a Pokemon doesn't reflect how proficient in battle they are, it's me. People underestimate Star all the time. Still, like I said to Zapman, Star is now wondering if eventually she could set up a battle, she does have a bit of that competitive spirit.
I'm about halfway through, along with Doro, he and I are going through the region together, since he's a trainer too. We are taking a small break in Lumiose city, we're hoping to stick around for when that big upcoming city project is done and check that out together!
The gyms have been interesting. Thankfully, none of them have been filled with lava. There was one gym in Johto that had lava. I'm still not over it.

>It would take someone very dedicated
>An an actual ambush across dimensions

"The machines, and support equipment. Plus staff, but that was hired through more normal channels. All to be moved when our more definitive base of operations is built."

"Well, we can go there after this. Though I doubt there is much to help. I'd need a medical miracle."
>But for who?
"...perhaps."

>Well, guess this is ending in a missfest
>A missfest that the Liger model can not endure, battery drained and an Hex hitting it head on
>By the skin of his teeth, Nova is victorious!

"....well, there was at least an increase in overall duration. We'll need to revise the batteries still, and find out more permanent solutions for in field power supplying."
>There may be plans getting readied. But nothing usable right now

well, being cloistered up tends to attract questions

also give my thanks to Maria

things here are uh, swamped with projects
there's a Sylveon in Paldea that needs backup batteries

>>77549883
yup
got me out of a pickle a way back then

there's more to electricity in battle than just generating it, there are degrees of fine control that few pokemon know. Fio between them
sounds like a double battle, Mho and FIo against Star and her choice of partner
sparks will fly

"You TURN it OFF by RELEASING IT WITH YOUR HAND!"
>Oh hell he is going to punch a wall

>Or a Protect, that works
>>
>>77549921
>>77549137
>Something like that isn't likely, but that's why Pyrite brought backup just in case
>Team Revolt has had to steal stuff too... though typically, they get it from the places that they attack, which were mistreating Pokemon anyway

"I've seen miracles happen. We have a psychic signature on our business card for a reason, after all. Our primary mission may be Pokemon advocacy, and that'll always be our focus, but we don't limit ourselves to that. There's more than one way to make the world a better place, after all."
>Team Revolt has always been somewhat idealistic, which wouldn't be a problem for the League aside from the fact that they very much act on those ideals... to the point where they end up breaking the law in quite a few regions
>It has it's perks for them, though, rescue enough Pokemon for long enough, and you are sure to find some expectational individuals after a while, plus ones who come from experimentation that Revolt was too late to stop but still able to save them from after

>To Doro
"A Mismagius girlfriend? Sounds... scary."
>That sarcastic smirk is back

>Indeed, both Pokemon know that the next attack will end the battle, and both are doing their absolute best to make sure it isn't -them- who gets hit by that next move-- it's less interesting in words, but it probably looks pretty epic to those watching
>In the end, though, it seems Nova just barely manages to eek out a win-- surprising, considering the HP difference, though Mr.Pyrite doesn't seem that surprised
"Good job Nova! Though I guess we'll have to test the auto-revive later."
>The necklace goes **wirrr click** again
>Nova leans on his large stick for a moment
>"I would rate that as one of my most challenging battles of recent. I'm impressed."
>Pyrite smirks
"If Nova is impressed, I'm impressed!"

Someone getting you out of a pickle? Must have been quite the pickle.

Well, Star has read that, and now she's thinking Lightspeed would be the best/most interesting choice. I'm not sure the world is ready for that battle! But I think all four of them would enjoy it, from the sounds of it.

Taking care of fur's a passion of mine. Mom always said I'd be a cosmologist if I wasn't a trainer. Plus, nice to get a buff in battle, to boot. The real reward for me is seeing the girls smile.
>Ariados
Tsuki's always been the temperamental sort. She's kind of a brat. I type this as she's still gnawing on my cheek as an adult. Classy!

>>77549883
A Corviknight? Kickass, I hear those things are great. For a flying type, that'd be Tachibana, she's my Swellow. A lot of people are saying this and that about competitive but they haven't seen Tachibana's... Agh, Arceus, I'm still learning this language. Apparently, it translates to something like 'Swallow Return'. Really fast trick of the wings.
>Star's head
Yeah, I worry about Layla, my ace, a lot.
>Mho
Yeah Fio loves her 'Big Brother Mho', I swear those two have a bond that I think she was missing in her own family. Found her in the Safari Zone in Hoenn. Caught her in the wildest way. I was chasing her through the whole damn park as a Pikachu and then I decided, "You know what? Fuck it." I went to a clearing, made myself comfortable and just laid down. This little gremlin comes waltzing in thirty minutes later, laying on top of me because she thinks I'm asleep. That's when I poke the ball on her head, boom, caught. Now she's been a great ally and... more, since.
>Kalos Gyms and a Battle
Maybe a battle someday! Nice to hear Kalos is doing well with its Gym Challenge. I hear Drasna's got a young man she's coaching up at the Elite 4, real odd type.
>Lava Gym
Oh, I know which one you're talkin' about. That's Blackthorne. I hear their leader's a sore loser.

>>77550308
Being a Williams has always been asking for trouble.
>Maria
She says: "Have fun with that girl of yours, Samuel. Please, treat her well." She referring to that Mimikyu?
>Sylveon with batteries.
You know, given what I've dealt with out in the Bias Sands, my Hoenn endeavor, and just everything else- I ain't surprised.
