I used a more descriptive prompt on this one, and Walks definitely looks more lively than in Veo's previous attempt. The prompt mentioned that she's part-rattlesnake, and apparently the AI was paying attention, because it provided both hiss and rattle sound effects in the foley, and tried to visually add a rattle to her tail.I'm quite pleased with the hallway. The gaping holes and windows convey more of a sense of just how large this abandoned structure really is. And Walks' footsteps no longer sound like she's wearing combat boots.

Testing Hailuo2 this time around. Decided to stitch a couple of gens together into a single video, rather than posting them both separately. Since this model can generate sound, here's a link to the audio version:https://files.catbox.moe/1o5ura.mp4Hailuo produces some very lively animation, but made Walks impossibly chatty, and the most annoying part is that I can't even tell what she's saying. I ran both gens through some speech-to-text auto-captioning programs, and they couldn't figure it out, either. But for my own amusement (and possibly yours), I turned the most coherent guesses into embedded subtitles, which you can see if you download the file off Catbox and watch it in a compatible media player like MPC-HC or VLC.
