We're making a new document for newcomers, and we need the help of everyone who has active characters.

If you could take a little bit of time to write a character sheet, that would be great!
The template to follow + examples are here:

Fill out the template, post it in a post here or a rentry of your own, and we'll compile all of them into a "Quickstart Guide" along with a brief description/explanation/history of Oasis and its many buildings and areas.
We'll need a character sheet from everyone who's currently active, so if you've read this post and are working on one, please pop in with a brief response, so I know who to chase down later.

Our outdated and bloated lore document is most likely the biggest barrier to entry for newcomers, and a new concise replacement will most likely benefit existing users as well.

Yeah, it was this very strange dungeon. I think it was once a library that nature's kinda overtaken.
The more and more you get in though, the more intact books and stuff you can find.
I think it'd take years to comb through the entirety of it for books, not only finding those that aren't damaged but ones that are useful.
A lot of the books were mythology and religious texts...

Nah nah relax. I smashed the hole in the wall and my boys put the one in the roof. Guild coffers are paying for that. Just don't go doing that again.
I am gonna chase you for some stuff though so if you wanna call that penance that's fine by me. I'm after a stack of those type changes for normal type, for my boys. They shouldn't get as out of control like me though and even if they do I can keep em in line. Second I'm also after an electric type one. Don't worry I've got some safeguards for that one. For what I have planned the risk is worth it.
We also need some more full restore after that mess earlier.
And finally, this one feels like a bit of an ask but would it be possible to scrounge together what we need for a basic dna test. Well, I had a few tussles with some low level, uh, water and grass Pokemon. First time was kinda scary, but after a while, I found it getting easier.

They got a little tougher by the time I got into the more intact levels... I did eat through more of my supplies than I wanted to.
There was this guy, a think, a Tropius? He had declared himself king, and I tried to reason with him, but he wasn't having any of it.
So, I had to fight him.

He attacked me first, but I managed to dodge, I got a good few Flamethrowers on him before he started fighting back! He was tough, but I had the advantage of having a few fire-type moves.
In the end, it was getting really close, so I ended up having to throw a Blast Seed at him, before finishing him off with a Fire Punch.

But yeah, it was really close. I don't actually know if he was actually the real king of the place, scouting around, I did find more stairs to go further into the dungeon.

(Rude! Anyway, It's currently faily tidy in there. There are just two books on the table she used when she build the device for Chai. One about evolution and the other about special minerals.
She still has some of the type change potions left. She initially had all 16 but used the dark type on herself. Chai tested ground I think and maybe one other but I can't recall which.
Besides contraceptives there are still a few cleansers, three ovi elixiers and maybe two full restores.
There are also still leftovers from her unlabeled Halloween potions.
In some baskets and barrels you could also find all kinds of berries.)

It's a little complicated but both more or less. He used to be a clone, now he's a shape shifter. He spends most of his time as a Lopunny, a brown rabbit looking pokemon. As for the latter, my guards are usually cloaked around town keeping an eye out.
