well, I think one of the biggest hiccups towards trans acceptance is the lack of 'real' anatomy and fertility/virility. If you could just 'poof now you can impregnate/get pregnant and everything is normal' then I don't really see any issue as long as they aren't doing it to "trap" you.

Those all make sense, granted, if it's magic based, my go to is usually to give them a new outfit themed to their new form, but that's just because I like designing outfits like that, Boo Daisy being my go to example.

As for weeks later, I HATE when I see a comic or whatever where someone is TF'd and then it cuts to like, a month or two later, and they're just walking around naked. Like, I don't care if yoou have a tail and claws now, why the hell are you waltzing around on full display while going to work or whatever. Yea, it seems like from the first 2 pages that society has integrated werewolves living amongst normal people, and that there would be social consciousness about the nuance of the curse.
It is unclear from the comic if those temptations fully fade upon the transformation's conclusion but I lean towards 'Yes it does'.

You make a strong point, but I'll counter with the fact that the symptoms of dysphoria are not the same as phantom limb sensations. There may be some truth about brains developing on the wrong hormones causing differences and symptoms, but I don't think that has anything to do with the experiences that trans people currently describe. The way it acts as a social contagion among young girls and lonely men, combined with the way transitioning normally offers only temporary relief is why I'm so confident that it's outlet for insecurity. If it wasn't gender, the insecurity would find some other focal point like height, weight, voice, ect. This switching of the way insecurity is expressed has actually already happened before, as studies have found schools with more trans students have less students with anorexia.

It's pretty interesting stuff, in the sense that on some level people are "choosing" to have these conditions. I can actually add my own anecdote into the ring for once: I have a very rare case of "genuine" phantom sensation caused by natal nerve damage. I feel "too" tall and like I should be shorter than I really am, along with a feeling that I can only describe as like muscle cramps. It actually took a few years and a visit to a neurologist to get properly diagnosed since it's hard to describe non-standard phantom limb, so for a few years me and my doctor thought I had body dysmorphia of some kind. Enough talking with other people who have body dysmorphia, and I can sorta explain the difference like this.
When I spoke to people who were getting treated for actual dysmorphia, it was always in their head, and they KNEW that on at least some level. Dumbing it down, it's "I wish my ears were smaller" and that feeling becomes so acute it begins affecting them, but in very mental ways, like nausea, depression and so on. For my experience, though, the sensation is acutely physical, and has nothing really to do with my own evaluation of myself. I look in a mirror and see that I'm pretty tall, but I don't really feel anything about that, and I seem like I'm the correct height, but there's this sensation in my bones and muscles that accompanies me at all times. The directions that the feelings come from in each condition seem opposed to my eye.
I can even try and imagine a version of my condition that would be for a female body, like missing tits and stuff, and it doesn't really sound like dysphoria- I think someone would CLAIM that it does if they heard me say it, but that's because it's easy to claim physical sensations, since that makes it feel more "legitimate".
