Alright, Project for all of you, Hometown D&D ClubWho's in it, who's the DM, and what classes and types of characters do they play as, and of course you can include Veth if you'd like
>>77527820OK SOas a massive tabletop guy I've thought a lot about this. They all will try to DM at least once, but Berdly will be the most succesful and consistent DM (if a bit stodgy on homebrew and strict RAW rulings) but when Veth comes around she'd be totally into running games aswell. Asriel 100% ran games before he left off to college and was probably who introduced kris to them.Berdly's games are typical D&D fare adventures with stories plots and characters, perhaps a bit thin and a few familiar faces from games and books he's been looking at recently.Veth runs games with complex mechanics but almost 0 story. Her villains are great but the games are entirely player driven. She loves giving the players a base or force to manage, but doesn't really throw out plot hooks. Characterwise Susie plays a cleric and paladin a lot, she tries barbarian at first but when she learns "THere's classes that kick ass AND heal and do magic?!" she's all in.Noelle plays bards and sorcerers and wizards...but she actually likes playing martials. The group steers her away from druids and rangers because just like her favorite videogames, she just goes on to collect every animal they come across.Kris did typical edgy rogue fare as a younger preteen with asriel running but now he does a bit of everything, rarely does a class that goes all in on one thing (fighters, wizards, ect). He likes bards that use swords, or warriors that can use magic, or something out there like artificer.Berdly 100% only plays wizards because on paper they are the strongest class when doing white room theorycrafting. He looks up online guides of the most efficient spells for DPS and crowd control.Veth starts out with "Artifither becauthe it ith the thmartetht clath without having to be flimthy like nerdly'th withzardth" but then she secretly gets really into the druid stuff, the natural world and nature magic being entirely foreign to her sensibilities and familiarity.
