But the way I see it is that if part of a chart truly gets in the way of your enjoyment you should just ignore it entirely. So the way I played it was that I simply imagined I was designing a character who was never a male and I was just making a cute pilot girl and her cool mech. So I took options like Life Memories, Accustomed Name and Effete Positivity as if they were free points. My logic is that, I'm just going to imagine my character was always a woman, but if it has to be the case they were previously a man, they have no memory of that and I'm not going to think about it because I don't find that hot. It's definitely not the intended way to play the chart, but it was enough for me to have a good time with it.
