I do know that, unrelated, a surprisingly cool discord server I joined recently is largely latino, and that doesn't surprise me because yeah.. you guys.. for the entire 25 years I've been online, you guys have consistently made the shit that tells me your heads are screwed on properly. Also to anyone worrying about the potential upcoming death of encryption and having an AI snitch observe everything you do - decentralized platforms or services will be a solution short and maybe long term.

Currently Bluesky and Mastodon are one of the main decentralized social platforms and are considered safe for the moment.

For your PC - if you are a windows user, don't ever think of Win11. Even if you purge the AI elements from it, it can and does restore them on every other update, fully or partially. You can't completely remove data collection from it either. Only way for it to be safely used, is to remove its ability to connect to the net and I don't mean just turning off the Wi-Fi switch.

My unsolicited advise is to move to Linux when the time comes and maybe keep an offline windows rig running W7 or W10 for gaming and for work that requires software which isn't supported on Linux.

Be careful also with any hardware you buy in the future. Most will start having their hardware hold components that will enable client side scanning just like those found in modern Iphones (the chips were left inert after a huge backlash years ago, but since the political climate is changing, I assume those will finally be put to use).

Lastly - for the slop enjoyers. Right now, the big platforms are still building their databases and AI agents, however those are improving very fast so do not expect to generate the frisky shit you enjoy in the long run. Worse than that, If the laws currently brewing kick in action, stay and grow their hold - you will be monitored with more scrutiny, listed and ultimately get judged and canned for anything the AI agent deems as problematic...
