I can definitely understand the appeal of it though. I do think BO zombies did it the best though, it built onto the original in a respectful way while keeping to the spirit of the original as best as I can tell. Later installments tried to add more but it rarely worked and changed too many things for my liking. Also I loved the lore tidbits with 115 and the Wonder Weapons and everything. The original 4 cast members are still the best. And the soundtrack is still phenomenal and pretty incredibly well produced for a video game score. Would definitely give WaW a chance though.
