It turns out it's difficult to describe the complexities of an alien society from within, since you need to frame it all like, "Oh yeah that's totally normal" and can't make any direct comparisons to human society without an actual human in the scene. I tried to hint at that when those two random bugs were conversing between themselves before getting ambushed, since one of them talks about his aratrost in the past tense, but it's something that's definitely worth pointing out directly at the moment, especially since it's framed as a death of sorts.The Fyrix don't really have "criminals" in the traditional sense. If you do things that are deemed as 'bad' you'll slowly lose prominence on your own without the need of an overseeing government body. I like to think of it that a Fyrix (not that they would) could theoretically murder someone and get away with it just fine as long as they were really persuasive and attractive. The closest thing they have is the 'adjustments' where they think you've done something so wrong that you need to have your prominence removed at once rather than waiting for it to slowly decay. Below that you have the Threll, but we'll see them soon.
