Playing with PixVerse, and used 3D Anime in the style box, got an interesting abstract;
Took a while to get at the hang of the site, then tried Anime style, and got a crowd in the background for some reason \oo/
Finally realised you don't need to have a style, as it can be inferred in the prompt. I also wound the seed level down and got closer to the original image.Still got a human hand though, need to describe every detail...Have to wait till tomorrow to get some more credits.
Watched a tutorial video on YouTube today about workflows for generating 3D models, and stage 1 involved creating consistent front, side, and back views of the subject. I hadn't made a character sheet for Walks yet, so I thought I'd give it a try.Nano Banana did a reasonable job, though the results required some cleanup in post. Also, it got the front and side labels confused.

And here's stage 2, which takes those images and spits out a textured 3D model. I used tencent's Hunyuan 3D 2.5, on what I assume is their official website. Creating an account and navigating the site was a bit of a pain, as everything is in Chinese, but fortunately my browser can translate to English. They let you generate 20 models a day on a free account, which feels suspiciously generous.Model accuracy and detail isn't bad. I'd say it falls somewhere between Meshy 5 and Hitem. The textures, however, lack fine detail, and the end result looks somewhat like a badly-painted Hummel figurine.
