I find myself jumping around moreso in chapter 3 than the other chapters, in part because of the weird beginning of chapter 3, but I think either the diction or handling of how exposition is managed makes it harder to read, at least for me. Maybe if I sat down and put all my focus on the passage I can comprehend, but I'm more used to reading for enjoyment, moreso than analysis, something I hadn't done since college days.Because of how you're doing dialogue, it's also hard to tell when the characters are done talking and when narration picks up again to do the lifting.I guess I'd say that chapter 3 feels more bogged down compared to chapters 1 and 2.

So something I've been thinking I should hammer out is the next two chapters for Jayden's Cursed Tabletop Game. Namely that before I get into the 'Voidfather Arc' I should wrap up the stuff that's leading into it. Namely I want to show off 'the Siren' who should show up early next chapter (the idea is Jayden has cast all the popular girls as villains), and I also want to sort of cap-off the 'Ice-Vampire' in that she's actually not as on board with the villainy for the other characters are. And I should have a moment with her and 'Ashflame' where I'm thinking they fight, but that they end up reconciling at the end. I'm thinking she should get a 'powered up/bimbo' upgrade too, but I'm not sure what it should look like.

I'm also considering having a story beat when she loses the hat, since that'd also make the change more noticeable.
