>>77859235i might be one of the few /gmad/ posters still been keeping up with alien earth... everyone except the synth scientist and the black cyborg dude are hilariously inept at their jobs but as far as tv slop goes it's alright. apparently there might be a season 2, which is nice, but it also makes me think it's going to end on a cliffhanger which has made me a little less excited about how it will actually endhopefully the last few episodes focus more on the second capitve xenomorph they've been growing in the lab, that and the scheming eyeball alien are the most interesting parts of the show

>>77864853they hatched it in the lab after they recovered it from a crashed ship. they grew it from one of the character's surgically removed lungs (long story). it's a little up and down as a show (some characters are just flat out more interesting than others) but as far as tv scifi goes it's pretty good. they got a big budget from disney/fox but otherwise the disney influence is hands-off compared to new star wars, you still get a ton of gory shit happening. though it's less creepy horny sex horror alien and more philosophical transhumanist alien. if you liked the original, Alien Isolation, or David's shenanigans in the Ridley Scott sequels you might find it interesting, if you liked James Cameron action horror Aliens you might find it a little dull.
