It's unreal that the new point of discussion on social media with regard to Pizza Tower is all about desperately hoping its fanbase gets "revived", as though the social aspect is more important than the game itself. I've even seen people bemoan the devteam working on "a game no one talks about" rather than churning out downloadable content for a singleplayer platformer they've completed long ago and are tired of looking at. Throw in /v/ numberfagging about player numbers and "the quality of a game is determined by its hours of playtime" rhetoric and you have whatever garbage had overtaken the discourse about this game.

The idea of an RPG with PT characters has been tried at least three times, not to mention dungeon crawlers, survival horror, puzzles, and point-and-click adventures. On the off chance that character is ever used in a legitimate sequel or spin-off, I can't be sure it'll be whatever we saw in the leaked concept art. Likewise I doubt Meltyman's debut in an actual game will be a parody of the whole "quirky Mother-inspired RPG about friendship" niche. Seems like a waste if you ask me.
