Afternoon, Smokey
>>78020117hey there
>>78021114How is your Sunday afternoon?
>>78021309i cut a bunch of little trees down. how about you?
>>78021329Pretty decent. I caught one of my streamers about 40 minutes into the stream, and they ended up going for almost 8 hours. I spent alot of the time listening to the stream while continuing to clean and rearrange my setup. Also while I'm not Christian, I am very heartened with what I've seen of the Memorial going on today
>>78021555people were pretty pissed about it at my church.
>>78021950Understandably, shit's gonna change
make a group of ponies greeting her with the roman salute.
>>78022345i hope so. for the better of course.>>78022912hey there
>>78023779I don't see how it couldn't. As a metaphysicist I see generational change occurring, beyond religions and traditions.
>>78024605never underestimate the memory hole.
>>78024734The masses are irrelevant, all you need is 10%
>>78025552that's true. most people are just go-along sheeple. that's good because it means time doesn't need to be wasted "waking up" people who are somehow still asleep..
>>78025713It's more pareto-distribution sort of thing, but yes; a handful of people will make a greater difference than a multitude.
...The undertale 10th anniversary stream blew my expectations out of the water. It hurt me, on every possible level, in all the right ways. It vindicated everything I ever believed about Undertale's story... and it put the central defining conflict of my life in the mouth of the best character ever written. Once again, Undertale has proven that it is... simply... incomparable, unconquerable and... in my opinion, the best story ever told.
>>78033348hello
>>78033387...Hey. I'm... mentally and emotionally fucked right now. Beyond all reckoning.
>>78033404it's all good.
>>78033477Thanks, Smokey. I uh. I don't know how to process what I'm feeling right now.
>>78033509you'll get through it.
>>78033647...I'm not sure I will. I'm still processing many things from 12 years ago... and also 10 years ago. Things don't just... 'go away' for me.
>>78033804they don't go away for anyone. we just have to learn to live with the past.
>>78033923...You're not wrong, but also I don't 'get over' things either, pretty much ever.
>>78033974i said get through, not get over. there's a difference. life is what you make of it.
>>78034006You aren't wrong, but it is hard to convey how I feel. It is VERY hard to convey how... specifically... I feel. It's... not a normal way that my mind works about things like this. Part of that is accounted of my long memory. Others are a trauma response. The important thing though, is that everything you care about is a part of you... and I care about everything.
>>78033348And just as I'm finally finishing FF14 (the sidequests and replays and shit,... the account still has a couple weeks on it)>and then all that>>78034006This>>78034258A long memory and a conditioned trauma-response are a 'gift' that keeps on giving. Whether one agrees or not, approves or not, is repulsed or not, etc. by their envionment or experiences, they're nonetheless canon for the individual. And if your canon experiences go vastly against the grain of the norm, well the results are often likewise. Hope that helps.>>78037410Otherwise, g'mornin' gents
>>78037786good morning
Sure, she looks cute. But this mare will rape (You).
>>78037786Thanks for the understanding, at least. Means a lot. <3I liked FF14. I played primarily White Mage as I played. I liked Heavensward a lot. It was a good time.
>>78052903hi
>>78052914Never left. Just been quiet. Least I can do is post some pony.
>>78053053how's it going?
>>78053076You know how it's going. Overwhelmed, exhausted.
>>78054489sorry to hear that. get some rest, staying up all night on the internet can't help with being exhausted.
>>78054571The kind of exhausted I am can't be cured by sleep.
>>78054598believe me, i've been there. my best advice is to power through. you can do it, if you let yourself. the path to victory lies in the mind.
>>78060268Hey smokey.could use some distractions right about now.thank you for always being here. you are strangely consistent. to a worrying level.
>>78060543We're all here,if you need us.
>>78060589I did consider reaching you on that other place, but it's far past your bedtime and we both know you'd bring that up.But, it's good to see that you are here too.
Tomorrow's gonna be a really slow day at work. Slow days are really bad when I'm in this frame of mind. Something about idle minds and the devil.I'd give anything for a bomb shell at work. A new prototype, a new failure mode. As long as it's not the same dreary, end-of-the-road/poking-in-the-dark test over and over and over again.
>>78060543i do what i can.>>78060767this will be a busy day for me. i suspect i'll have to fix microsoft outlook for many people. outlook is such a piece of shit.
>>78060790What's the alternative in the enterprise world?I don't imagine gmail or lotus notes are much better.
>>78061058google has gsuite. that's about it. and those user still tend to use outlook.
>>78061157thunderbird is still usable so I'm sticking with it for now.contrary to the dumpster that is modern firefox
>>78061329i never see people using thunderbird.
>>78061344what do normies use
>>78062351outlook with every plugin you can imagine. breaks constantly
