I'm doing my part
>>78203726Charity Queen best girl btw
>>78203808>all countries have patronsUnless the history section can rewrite history to make a country not have any patron, I need to reconsider being part of any country, never mind inducing an industrial revolution.I'll probably switch to treasure hunting. The temples and dungeons have good stuff.
>>78204035Reject the gods, make your own waifus.
>>78204604Now that you mention it yeah, the cyoa is really in need of a nation that doesn't worship any of themWhile it does make sense to at least one be commonly worshipped in a world where they all are so influential, it wouldn't be out of place to exist a nation or two that doesn't want any kind of divine influence either out of scorn, rebelion or simply because their ruler doesn't want any competition
>>78204035I like the Curious Oracle better.
>>78204604>>78204692The CYOA needs countries that worship more of the patrons, only like three of them have any countries. It also needs countries that accept anyone besides Humans, x-kin, Beastlings, and Goblins, because all of them but like one (which is the merchant desert hellhole) hate literally every other race.
>>78201148>the Charity Queen who is implied to be the one offering the cyoa. What makes you think she's the narrator?
>>78205817She's the goddess most associated with The Pink. You start in a special part of The Pink. She's the goddess associated with tentacle pits. You start in what amounts to a special tentacle pit. She's associated with the raspberry smell, you smell raspberries. She's the goddess of mutation and integration, you are being mutated and integrated.
>>78204692>Now that you mention it yeah, the cyoa is really in need of a nation that doesn't worship any of them>While it does make sense to at least one be commonly worshipped in a world where they all are so influential, it wouldn't be out of place to exist a nation or two that doesn't want any kind of divine influence either out of scorn, rebelion or simply because their ruler doesn't want any competitionPolytheism and/or religious tolerance is an option, too. Who wants to piss off the gods in a setting where they actively reshape the world?
>>78205862>Who wants to piss off the gods in a setting where they actively reshape the world?>The average nephilim builds: Jokes aside it not like all of them are actively going on forceful religious conversion crusades, some of them have zealots yes but I can see some of the Oracle and Queen followers being pretty chill as long you don't piss of them >>78205850I thought Apotheosis comfirmed it himself, I am experiencing a mandela effect?
>>78205850She also gives you her boon for free even if you don't follow her religion by just picking Relax
>>78205850Charity Queen also very likely split from the Avarice King, which is lilely the Red in the same way she probably is The Pink.I wonder what kind of event caused the gods to split into two, maybe it was the New gods?
>>78206108>She also gives you her boon for free even if you don't follow her religion by just picking RelaxBut Panic builds get Primal Intuition, the boon of the Wild Empress. Does that imply she's involved, too?>>78205850>She's associated with the raspberry smell, you smell raspberries. That's be a neat clue. Where did you see that the Charity Queen was associated with raspberries?
>>78206348It was in the old .7 pages.
>>78203726>Corruption>Determines how saturated with corruptive energies you are; may induce various mental and/or physical transformations. A base value of 0 is roughly equivalent to the average adult human. A value of 100 is being corrupted fully and totally into wanton hedonism. So if you choose a race with high a corruption stat like succubus you instantly become totally insane and hedonistic and transform into something else? Is the only way to avoid this to take the corruption mutation that makes you immune to the effects of high corruption?
For Primordial HeartAffinity for an element means one you have elemental aspect in right?
>>78206215The Pink and The Red are a dead god's body. Remember that the Queen's old name was The Crimson Eye and the King's was The Vermilion Heart. They're both parts of the same dead god split off into their own entities. Recall also the old plot point that the elves fucked up by summoning a core from The Red into the middle of their civilization, which ended up being a god-seed, and created The Corrupt. God died in god war, lead to two new gods, dead god was 'pregnant', elves kidnapped the baby, baby freaked out, killed or raped and corrupted all the elves, lead to the active spread of Corruption as a force in the world itself. Gods had a debate about it, sentenced elf goddess to imprisonment for letting her elves do this plus opposing corruption, most other gods embraced it and became perverts. I think something like that is the sequence of events.
>>78203726Here are the most recent revisions of all the completed builds I could find for 1.7 so far, if anyone's looking for some inspiration!https://desuarchive.org/trash/thread/77991419/#78024979https://desuarchive.org/trash/thread/78121974/#q78131727https://desuarchive.org/trash/thread/78121974/#q78140652https://desuarchive.org/trash/thread/78121974/#q78159904https://desuarchive.org/trash/thread/78164320/#q78198396
you can dig up some strange powerful combos in this cyoa due to the vagueness of the text. Like if you use one stonebound body as a sacrifice vessel for your artificial oversoul your essentially fully immortal while the body remains stonebound as its impervious to harm while your other bodies can do whatever the fuck you want not effect by the stonebound curse and can just be revived once a year if they die by the stonebound vessel.
Its also pretty curious how one of the world modifiers in the (now outdated) world section from Part 3 allows you to give it intelligence once more, thought I doubt it can recover its true form without the King and Queen joining once more
>>78206868In the old sections, there's also a divine shard called the Heart of Jealousy in the Consumed (former elf territories), while the self-proclaimed Red Queen rules over tentacle monsters in the Pink. The Strict Master might cause problems with some of the reasoning, though. His old title was the Blinding Eye.
>>78206051To be fair to Nephilim, there's no such thing as a comfy Nephilim build. You're marked as a dangerous monster hated by the gods as soon as you drop into the world. Playing it too safe means losing out on experience and eventually some level 500 Hero Chosen by the Gods with bullshit cheat powers is going to mulch you to make them happy. If you aren't trying to usurp the Gods' thrones, you're choosing death as a Neph. If you are trying to usurp a divine throne, then you're choosing a life of conflict with no guarantee of victory. I like the risk/reward profile on Nephilim, but I don't understand anyone who takes it thinking they're going to have a chill time.
>>78207202You're hated by the God that your spark of divinity is from. If you have high Faith (which you probably will because Angel), there's no reason for the other Gods to hate you, that also would make the Faith Stat useless and contradict its description.
>>78207398"They are spurned by the Gods"Gods plural, anon. Not "the god whose domain they copied." All of them. And why wouldn't they be? They're a literal representation of man's hubris in the face of the divine, copies of their best servants designed specifically to resist divine will. To a god - ANY god - they'd be an abomination without redeeming qualities. As for Faith - Nephilim fuel all faith-based magic with their own will. Faith for a Nephilim is just self-confidence (or narcissism).
>>78207398faith is used to govern several abilities, which is why their faith is that high there's also the matter of, do other gods like you enough to risk a war between gods over helping you against their chosen crusader, or are they going to go "tough luck son" the latter is more likely, even with high faith they're not going to hate you, but you also aren't "that" important
Was looking at figures recently and saw one based on the illustration used in Prisoner Transfer for the shotacon doctor was available. I wonder if this has happened with any other art used in these.
>>78203726The Basic Alterations for Mouth, Anus, Vagina, and Penis are just bloat that makes the CYOA worse. Why even have modifiers like Deep or Girthy when you can just take the Size/Depth increase mutation? How come Skinny can be selected up to twelve times when nobody's ever had a dick anywhere near six inches thick?!The Hair/Fur part also runs into a bit of trouble when you actually have fur since you can't make different choices for your fur and the hair on your scalp.
>>78207643Tons of stuff from houtengeki has been used and he has a few figures. If you use popular artists like him and Kesoshiro it will happen.
>>78208023More customization Also, tentacles aren't real either
I'm a bit confused about Racial Levels with Extra Transformations. Say I pick Racial Transformations A, B and C, and Extra Transformations X, which has A and B as a prerequisite and Y, which has A and C as prerequisites. Will my total Racial Level be X+Y Levels, ignoring A, B and C because they're in the prerequisites?
>>78208304Yes
>>78208023I feel like the sort of person who calls every customization option 'bloat' isn't the target audience for a highly detailed fetishized body customizer section.
>>78207620I interpreted the flavor text as you being seen as more of a fly, a nuisance than a noteworthy nemesisLike >>78207638 said, I don't think all of them will outright hate you, specially not the more peaceful ones, but even these definetively won't do jackshit to help you either
>>78203726I could use an interactive version of this
>>78207620I missed that about Faith, that actually makes sense. So I guess there's really no place of rest for you if you're a Nephilim since there seem to be no place Gods are not Worshipped.
>>78208304Yes. Your racial level is X+Y in that scenario. Additionally, as currently written, if you choose races A, B, and C, then only the X Extra transformation your racial level is X (not X+C). Not sure if that's intentional, but right now if you pick any extra transformation, none of the prior racial transformations are added in.
>>78203726>special body modifiers>take stocky AND lanky>they cancel each other, get you +10 points and give you two bonuses
>>78208612Simple: make your own place on a location nor inhabited
>>78207202>If you aren't trying to usurp the Gods' thrones, you're choosing death as a Neph. If you are trying to usurp a divine throne, then you're choosing a life of conflict with no guarantee of victory.Nephilim are naturally VERY arrogant, uncompassionate, disrespectful and strong, so it makes sense that they would easily get in the bad side of the gods, but I think that as long as you don't take something similar to the stereotype mutation or go on an anti-god crusade, most of the gods won't care much more than just keeping en eye on any shenanigans you try to pullyou are still not going to be welcomed with open arms but I don't believe Nephilim is such a hopeless race
>>78208615Weird. There seem to be almost no reason to pick only 2 races instead of 3 right now, besides the possibility of your stats being lower and corruption and lust being higher, which you can just play around in most cases. I thought Nephilim + Angel Extra Transformations would be illegal since one needs a Patron and the other forbids patrons, but now since the FAQ states otherwise, combining Neph + Watcher, Valkyrie or Celestial seems pretty damn good.
>>78208859Other than for flavor, I think you're right. But that's pretty much always been true - there's basically never a reason to go 'less' in any version of TR unless you're really leaning into a Purity build or a very strict build concept.
>>78208755the matter will be that you always will remain a target for high crusaders and such trying to reclaim the stolen shard of divinity you have and the other gods can't exactly take you into their fold if they want to maintain a precarious balanceNow if an actual war between gods breaks out, then you could see your faith be valuable since at that point the god(s) in opposite of the god who's shard you have will absolutely want to recruit youso a survival strategy for nephilim could be to actually intentionally seek to cause conflict between gods
>>78208859It's literally been a thing since the last version that if you have conflicting patron requirements you just pick one, and that Nephilim overwrites patron requirements. It's not really worth commenting on.
>>78208983>>78208859Note though - I don't think you get a free champion power out of taking Valk/Watcher/Celestial. The text says that those powers would come "from your Patron," and as a Neph your patron is always 'None.'
>>78209000>and the other gods can't exactly take you into their fold if they want to maintain a precarious balanceThey're not innately that hostile to gods from other sources, just to the Nephilim. Recall the curses where they basically use and kill you to incubate a demigod, and there was also the Heart of Jealousy in .7 where if you beat it you can claim a shard of divinity for your own ascent.
>>78209088>Note though - I don't think you get a free champion power out of taking Valk/Watcher/CelestialNephilim also specifically says you retain the power from your angel patron, so it would also make sense that you can still choose other extra races with patrons and keep their powers and boons
>>78209088You only get the Champion power from Homunculus yeah, any other ones you would normally get are nullified by being forbidden to worship a Patron I think
Speaking of precarious balance, I wonder how you would deal with said balance being shaken and possibly outright broken if you ever succeed in your ascension. The gods quite literaly shape the realm after all and a divine war is just half of the issue
>>78209088I think Neph only keeps what what Angel gives, since that's explicitly stated, and what he gets obviously. Any other divine thing you get from a God should be lost, not like they'd suffer much from it.
>>78209276>Nephilim also specifically says you retain the power from your angel patronI was about to say "no it doesn't" and then I cracked open the page again to make sure. You're right - I'd missed that update to the Nephilim entry. Now I'm just unsure about the champion power thing. It would make more sense (to me) for Nephilim's power to be self contained to that racial choice, just because of how you would normally get the choices from other options. But if you get to keep the Angel power then why not the others? You're a fake angel, or a fake watcher, or a fake valkyrie, so why not have fake champion powers from those sources as well?>>78209509That does feel the most fair to me, though. Neph gets a lot of advantages (at the cost of being a public enemy of the gods, who have a real and active presence in the world), but they've got some serious restrictions in play when it comes to anything related to Patrons.Maybe Apo can weigh in on this one. It's not going to make or break my build (Neph/Valk) either way, but I do think it'd be good to clarify that particular Nephilim interaction.
>>78208445It's bloat when there are multiple options or systems that just do the same thing with negligible differences
>>78209683Nephilim is kind of busted but getting more divinity in exchange for more divine enemies doesn't seem that unreasonable to me.
>>78209683>updatePretty sure they always worked like thatThe entire point of the race is getting a free Patron perk without being forced to worship one
>>78208023I think you should use common sense and pick your options on good faith. If you're a Slime, don't pick any hair options, because you lack fur, if you have eternal youth, you shouldn't get points for being of advanced age since it seems contradictory, there's a curse or mutation that makes you cum comic amounts semen and a perk for you to ejaculate more, why take both? There's a bunch of stuff that could be contradictory, and you have to imagine how your 3 race abomination slime automaton zombie is gonna make sense.
>>78210003It may have always been intended to work that way but it definitely didn't used to say it did.
>>78210024Yeah, but the best common sense way to play at this point is to skip the whole detailed customization section entirely.
>>78210003They used to get one boon, one champion power. Now they get one boon, two champion powers. Here's the text from before the update.
Does this mean the other Angel transformations stack with each other and the base Angel bonus too?
>>78209428The Outer Gods already break it, it'll only be an issue if you go out of your way to join the New or Old God factions.
>>78209827There's not a negligible difference between having a pretty, tight pussy that can stretch really far, and just having an ugly weeping roast beef sandwich that gapes enough to take anything.
>>78210024>If you're a Slime, don't pick any hair options, because you lack furBad example, you can easily justify that as parts of your slime body having different colors on each part of your body, it even helps making your build more uniqueCYOAs are meant to be a exercise of creativity, if you can give a explanation for your build for something that isn't blatant cheating then there is no reason you shouldn't be allowed to do so
>>78210141I'd assume yes, and that they always did. They don't conflict with each other the way that Neph does.
>>78210141You only pick one patron though, from the ones your transformations have available.
>>78210141Can you even have multiple extra angel transformations? Don't each of them require a specific patron?
>>78210813Apotheosis ruled last year that they're compatible and to just choose one of the patrons your transformations mandate.
https://imgchest.com/p/vj4j8rgjx78Lesbians Getting Dicked cyoa Resolution too largue to me post here
>>78210895Reminds me of this one.
>>78203726a lot of anons go "nephilim shouldn't have access to other patron powers/boons, that isn't fair" or "use common sense when choosing options" but every time apo answers any of these questions I'm convinced more and more that this cyoa is meant to be cheesedas long as you aren't blatantly contradicting the rules any free point combo or super powerful synergy is valid.
>>78211051Which pair is the strongest for the purpose of taking "The Power Is Yours" ?
>>78211217>a lot of anons>implying AT LEAST half of these aren't just samefagging
>>78208445What should I call it? It does the same thing as existing Mutations but worse while making you spend points instead of gaining them.
>>78211417>>78210565
>>78211217Are you trying to make a fun build you enjoy or are you trying to 'beat' a singleplayer imagination game?
>>78203726>Worker>0.5% x 150 = 75% cost reduction to all actions>80% - 75% = 5% off from the capThe humble Worker is one of the best classes.
>>78210565>having a pretty, tight pussy that can stretch really farPristine Pussy with Size/Depth Increase or Specialized Orifices>having an ugly weeping roast beef sandwich that gapes enough to take anythingEasy Gape without Tightness
>>78211954It's too bad that the classes that require it are bad. It not being a requirement for the Tinkerer when it's a crafting class is baffling. Instead, it's a requirement for the unrelated Courtesan and Actor. It's like how Monk instead of Wizard is a requirement for Oracle when Scrying (which combined with Divination allows for perceiving the future) is a magical power.
>>78211822both! I do try to make a realistic body that I would be happy to have and not an unholy abomination that cums from the slightest breezeat the same time finding loopholes and unexpected synergies is also pretty fun and gives me an excuse to read through the cyoa multiple times
>>78203726>Worker>AristocratDo research and experimentation count as "work" or "education"? Both?
>>78203726Why does Mercenary have -2% exp while Worker and Aristocrat only have -1% exp? And holy fucking shit, Edge Master has +7% in combat and a whooping -10% outside combat—is this supposed to be a fair trade???
>>78203726There should be a scenario modifier that lets you start out in multiplayer but if you die you go to singleplayer. I want to have a chance to meet you guys, but also don't want to get obliterated by some no-fun-allowed nemesis and I want to be able to peace out if someone makes their niche fetish take over the world.
>>78212710Edge Master is one of the best classes due to the passives it gives, and it seems like combat experience might very well be the strongestThat said if you are trying to XP-roach then the most powerful class by far is manager, since it gets you 1% of experience gained by anyone under your employWhich applies to mercenaries under your control and if you set up some kind of East-India company sort of deal it could apply to everyone in a nation of millions
>>78204692It would also make sense that any "atheist" nation fails to survive in a world where the gods act directly. Hell, atheist nations tend to fall into decay extremely quickly IRL as well.
>>78212087>Anon doesn't know the difference between aesthetics and functionYou guys need to stop being obsessed with trying to make this CYOA into your vision of some super minimalist 2 page CYOA already and just make your own if you hate granularity.
>>78206717>T-CupHoly shit that goat has some huge titsBut why would you willingly choose to become menhera?
>>78213605Being insane is a central part of the character.
>>78210565Taking the Deep/Loose options doesn't say that your pussy becomes a gaping roast beef sandwich.
>>78213660It's not a character, it's you.Or are you saying the build is based on an existing character from some media?
>>78213706I'm saying the builder made a character, and the character they made is supposed to be insane.
>>78211217>but every time apo answers any of these questions I'm convinced more and more that this cyoa is meant to be cheesedThis is news to you? I guess Apo fade in and out of existence long enough for this to be forgotten.https://desuarchive.org/trash/thread/68571397/#q68582036>My CYOAs are specifically designed so you can work around things and find loopholes and easier/more efficient solutions.
>>78212710Based on my extensive knowledge of LitRPG, combat EXP is probably faster and more cheesable than the other types
>>78213749I guess ivory tower game design is a much more valid paradigm in CYOAs than in RPGs
>>78213605When you're already borderline nonfunctional, free points are free points.
>>78213605If you're not flat then tits should be bigger than your headSimple asBesides tit and dick size might not scale with height like that so they seem smaller than they actually are.
>>78203726Okay, in part to act as example because I'm not entirely happy with it, but completed a purity build, that's still pretty monsterVows are a bit more restrictive than I thought, because a lot of them at first hand seem easy to fulfill, until you realize how much time they can take upBurial seems easy, until you realize if you run by a battlefield you're now obligated to give each of them an individual burial and have to do so while the victorious army is probably actively hostile to youHonor same thing, if it was just keeping your word at all costs then it would be interesting, but having to act within social norms at all times would get exhausting fast LV1 mostly because couldn't be bothered to do classes this time, but also because I figure it's a high survivability build so should be possible to reach racial lv
>>78213310>wanting to trim the fat from a 70+ page CYOA is the same as wanting 2 page minimalism
>>78213605I don't think the creator of that picture had a good grip on breast size. Some of those numbers are just outright ridiculous, implying breasts bigger than the girl.(Not criticizing anyone who's into big boobs. Just saying that some of these girls would allegedly be wearing bras big enough to go skydiving with. And even they aren't that well-endowed.)
>>78215699Cup sizes are weird overall
>>78215804women's clothing in general is messed up in sizes, seriously why can't it be as easy as men's
>>78215387Two things:1. Most battles in war historically had few casualties. Few soldiers were trained/brainwashed enough to mindlessly fight to the death, and multi-kill weapons were rare until the 20th Century. Plus, most real world religions have an abbreviated version of the ceremony for situations with a lot of casualties.2. It's supposed to be a major lifetime commitment, one that burns off a lot of Corruption. In other words, (you) are signing up to be a paladin. Is playing a paladin easy in ANY game?
>>78215556>Customization I don't care about is 'trimming the fat'It matters to some, is the thing, minimalist.
>>78215856well there's always accidentally stumbling upon a plague-ridden city at which point the funeral thing might become impossible to doit is a lifetime commitment sure
>>78215856Everyone who wants to play a Paladin should be mandated to play Ultima IV.
>>78215850>seriously why can't it be as easy as men'sBecause women are dumb and would rather start up a race to the bottom to convince themselves (and any dumb guys) they're the same size as marilyn monroe instead of actually try to be her sizeAnyways, how the fuck does one even begin to make a build for this shit with that many different dependencies and stats to track across that many fuckin pages. This is the kind of shit that actually benefits from having an interactive instead of some waifu picker.
>>78215928Most options don't have requirements or incompatibilities. It's a lot, but it's not actually complex to keep track of.
>>78215928>Trust a redditor to do your math for you bro, it can't even handle two point pools in a waifupicker but it can totally do this bro>Yeah and hide options behind requirements, don't even make them visible unless you qualify and don't tell people what the qualifiers are!>Can't forget to hide everything behind collapsible tabs too, each page needs at least three tabs, plus hidden tabs! Also CYOAs like this that require lots of backtracking and looking over pages several times are dogshit for interactive trash where you need to make your own fucking screencaps if you want to rapidly switch pages.
>>78215850Because women are supposed to be naked
>>78215928Some women, not everyone bought into that crap and is just along for the ride because the fashion industry is a nepotism hellhole >Anyways, how the fuck does one even begin to make a build for this shitYou make a spreadsheetno joke, people think of it as autistic but a spreadsheet genuinely saves you hours of your life with a CYOA this big
I make my TR build in pastebin.
>>78215387>Regeneration -60Racial bonuses don't stack anymore sadly
Is there a template for "the great titty wish" cyoa? I remember some anons made their own versions, I want to give it a spin myself.
>>78204604>The temples and dungeons have good stuff. We don't really know what they have though. The only sure "highly valuable treasures" are the boss corpses lmao.
>>78216100I thought that one was only for the doubling on the positive bonuswould be kinda lame because it means that many of the thematic combos are suddenly terrible choices and the best choices are weird mismatched ones
>>78215857>you don't understand, I NEED a page for changing the diameter of my penis by half an inch at a time down to negative 4.5 inches across!
>>78216275There is a lot to remember when making a build. I'm not normally a fan of using interactives, but for this CYOA in particular it would be a godsend.
>>78216553I read that as point bonus but didn't realize point bonus also meant discount
>>78216136
>>78216305Some people like chodes.
how is the Dragon ball cyoa coming along? I kinda want to see how it is progressing.
>>78217006thanks
>>78216553>if any Mutation can be taken more than once, you will only receive the Racial Bonus the first time you select that Mutation; you do NOT receive the Racial Bonus again if you select the same Mutation more than onceDoesn't that directly invalidate certain Racial Bonuses? Take Beastkin for example: the first Racial Bonus listed is "Animal Features x7 (Eyes, Maw, Tongue, Nose, Ears, Tail, Fur)" - with this new rule you'd only get 5 points from that Racial Bonus regardless of how many animal features you have. While we're on the topic of Transformations not getting bonus Points properly, Faith is still listed for some Curse Synergies despite that Curse now being a Vow instead.
>>78217145Anon, that rule very clearly only refers to one instance of the option and obviously having the option multiple times applies it for that number of times. Are you doing a thing where you nitpick the rules on purpose? Is it practicing your rhetoric, trying to make him mad, or revenge for some ruling you don't like?
>>78217145It's not clearly worded in that regard, but my supposition is that those are supposed to be treated as separate bonuses so they each apply to the sub-form of the mutation specified. I also think that the bit in greentext is meant to be separate from the previous clause, and that it only means the SAME bonus cannot be applied more than once. Although looking at the text only would seem to suggest the opposite, it seems too bizarre to me that it wouldn't be the case.>>78217229I agree that the wording is ambiguous. What you're saying is a common sense assumption and it's my assumption too, but common sense isn't always correct when it comes to Tentacle Realm. It's a fair enough question.
>>78217097I thought this was finished.https://imgchest.com/p/lqyemae6z7d
>>78206348>Does that imply she's involved, too?I think there is some implication that all of the gods are involved. It's just that the Charity Queen is the one doing most of the work. The Wild Empress though probably approves of anyone that goes Panic and tries to resist a god's influence and make it on their own in the world.
>>78203726Apotheosis? Can we some of the new material you've been working on for the Tentacle Realm? The tweaks are nice, but I'm ready to be surprised.
>>78211051>Reina and KumikoMan... This really aged like milk
>>78203726The history character you incarnate into did NOT originally have the mutations, powers, classes, etc. you picked in the build. Your takeover entails a transformation. You are an otherworldly being possessing someone and radically changing everything about them. History options like Royalty are massive traps because you will immediately be attacked the moment you spawn; you will either die, be captured, or slaughter your way out.>pick Royalty>human prince transforms into a million cocks tentacle monster
>>78203726The description of Hollow Bones makes me horny when I imagine being manhandled and used as a fleshlight with even greater ease...
>>78219764That's assuming you turn yourself into a complete monster who's mutations can't be hidden. Though if you went dragon then picked royalty in the Dragon Empire you're transformation would probably be celebrated as long as you didn't have other extreme and unsightly mutations.
>>78219764I simply take alternate form
>>78219562I don't follow that series. What happened?
>>78219764>The history character you incarnate into did NOT originally have the mutations, powers, classes, etc. you picked in the buildThere is absolutely no reason to think this. You're just trying to make things seem worse than they are.
>>78211311Probably one of the magical girls. Haven't seen any of the movies so all I know of Madoka is that she wished herself out of existence within a minute of becoming a magical girl which I guess is cool, but Homura does have cool time control shenanigans and can even time travel. Most of their peers aren't super impressive, though. I guess the power to summon guns or swords is kind of neat?I'm much more cluey on the Sailor Moon lore; Uranus and Neptune are Outer Senshi, the class of sailor guardian that fight the more alien threats that go bump in the intergalactic void. On top of the usual guardian powers like flight and shooting lasers and interstellar travel, Uranus has super speed and strength and Neptune has the power of prophecy. Including their peers also has time power shenanigans via Pluto - though more strong via long distance travel and less strong in the time stop and loop like Homura's - and an interstellar reset button that eradicates all life for a couple of light years via Saturn though it has friendly fire issues. Maybe them?Little idea of the others. Yang is super durable except the arms sometimes I guess? Atleast her super power isn't to lose every important fight like Weiss.
>>78220352>two girls who just are friends get shipped so much it pretty much warped the perception of everyone and they are treated by "fans" as a couple regardless>Protagonists starts dating a guy at the series's finale and to surprise of no one, a meltdown ensues among people>Turns out the original novel already ended long before the anime so everyone who actually follows the original work already knew that and only the delusional so called "fans" gave a shitJust yurifags being delusional as usual
>>78211311>>78220468Definitely Madoka/Homura, they have universe-level powers (Madoka only poofed out of existence because her wish was to exterminate all witches across the universe) and she instantly became a witch due to the power of her wish; Homura managed to reverse that somehow and made an artificial universe where Madoka could live like a normal human bean. After them would probably be Nanoha/Fate for raw power, followed by the senshi (for unorthodox powers as mentioned earlier). Bronya/Seele, Eula/Amber and Kanne/Lawine seem to be on roughly the same level, powerwise. Never watched RWBY beyond the first couple of shorts, but I always liked Yang's design.
>>78220717>>78220468>Nanofate over SailorsActually I take that back, I missed "interstellar travel" for the sailor senshi (I know next to nothing about them). That would definitely put them above Nanoha/Fate. Also what is the banned tier for?
>>78203726>No updates for two daysIs it ogre? Has he moved on to part 2-3?
>>78220717>>78220757As far as power scaling their interstellar travel goes, Chibi Moon, the pink loli one, once saw Sailor Moon about to be blasted by a special attack from an alien Sailor Guardian and successfully intercepted it before it landed. The silly part is that Moon was at the centre of the Galactic Centre, meanwhile Chibi was on Earth when the attack started. Even with the seemingly overlong windups of Sailor Moon that's bonkers. The tier list is from a Sailor Moon fighting game for the Famicom, from the same guys who did Guilty Gear. Uranus is a grappler character with a fullscreen dash that is nigh instant, fast enough to dash into someone from a whole screen away then back again before the other's throw lands and back in again to land their counterthrow before the other girl's end lag finishes, which is both canonically accurate and busted borked. Especially as she can dash out of a knockdown, so she okis you.
>>78220757>Also what is the banned tier for?Sailor Saturn - the blonde in the "Banned" tier - was a highly confrontational lesbian from the later seasons of Sailor Moon. A couple years older than most of the cast, she forced a split in the Sailor Moon team, apparently out of pride and a jealous desire to keep Sailor Neptune to herself. Kept calling the core cast a bunch of kids who were just playing at being heroes, and was almost as big a problem as the enemy.Hence why she's the only magical girl from that show who is "banned". Although powerful, her kneejerk hostility to anyone who wasn't Sailor Neptune alienated the fan base pretty badly. And there's an entire season of the show that could be subtitled "Sailor Saturn Sabotages the Team", as she routinely hoarded information, undermined the core cast, and refused to let Sailor Neptune help them until well after all heck broke loose. She also spent . . .like half that season trying to kill Sailor Uranus, based solely on the suspicion that she'd been corrupted by the enemy.
>>78221088You're thinking Uranus. Saturn physically looks younger than everyone but Chibi and has black hair.
>>78220880Hopefully we get the nations section sooner rather than later
>>78221126Sorry - you're right. I flipped the two. Sailor Uranus was the controlling, arguably abusive, lesbian.
>>78221088Saturn, for the record.
>>78221202And Uranus
>>78221084>>78221200Just for the record - I keep mentioning that she was a lesbian because it was hugely important to her character and worldview. It was her intellectual dodge, a way to explain why people didn't like her. Not her bad attitude, crappy teamwork or plans to murder three innocents and one teammate.
>>78221410
>>78221410I would just like to add here, the original english dub did something very amusing with her and Neptune. It removed explicit mentions of them being lesbians, and made them cousins. Which as it changed nothing else, made them seem like lesbian cousins.
>>78221435
>>78203726Okay, I just noticed that the Alternate Form power goes from page 1.4 to 1.26. That cuts out 2/3 of the transformation pages and the last Powers page. But it does include Histories section so technically you could give your alternate forms a different history and history buffs, which is kind of funny, thought I suppose it makes some sense in certain circumstance like having the Forced Form curse.
>>78221481I think it's a mistake and a holdover from the previous version. As that starts you on the third page of racial transformations.
>>78221474>>78221464>Which as it changed nothing else, made them seem like lesbian cousins.Yeah, the original dub's voice actors made sure to put in all the suggestive tones to their lines, too.

>>78217555I think >>78217097 meant the new one posted a few threads ago, with the last page having all the lewd stuff. The author of that said something about making a new version.
>>78221088>>78221239Sounds like she needs her anus stretched out. god damn yuriniggers ruining things for everyone.
>>78220757>>78221088>Hence why she's the only magical girl from that show who is "banned".???That image is referring to the Sailor Moon fighting game on SNES, where she's absurdly broken
>>78221992Huh - learn something new every day.Wait - how was she broken? Her attack in the anime never seemed that good.
Does anyone remember a cyoa where your a king and your six advisers are arguing (split into groups of 2for each of the three factions, 1human, 1 demi) over what to do with the vassels and who gets the ring?
Oh my fucking god even when it comes to videogames, gameplay= lore apparently No wonder wonder we have a autist clamoring for uneeded nerfs on TR
>Fill out the modifiers for all the orifices>Start on the mutations>Mutations that give you points for the exact effects you pay for in the orifice modifier sectionsI guess it's for low corruption babies to paddle around in the lewdified body pool, but man does it feel annoying
>>78222678obviously it's for the crucially important granularity like this guy said >>78213310
>>78222678Yeah, it's for humans and true elves. But look at it this way, you can take a modifiers that give points then override them with mutations that give points! More points!
>>78221510It doesn't match with the previous major version, which was just 1-22 which took it from the start to the end of Powers. But it does seem like an error. Also it's basically impossible to make a build without including page 1, or some alternate version of it, because otherwise what do you do with the corruption points?
>>78211051>Amawashi Aoi & Evangeline Burton>Kanne & Lawine>Back For Seconds>Gals Being Pals>Double Feature>As You WereMy body is ready.>>78218958>Tanahi the Arisen Shogun: GoSachira the Maid-Princess: Stay a close second.

It's one of AkumaKami64's projects that are stuck in WIP hell. Been that way for years. The draft version should be in his author folder. If not, I know it's in his Deviant Art "Scrap" folder.
>>78215387Neat, I think this might be the first aquatic build I've seen for TR - and it's a pretty flavorful one to boot. Squidmom's a pretty fun idea.Any reason you didn't take Perpetual Effect (Wet and/or Slime)? It's so versatile that I've been considering it for every build I make, but it feels even more on-brand for Variant Slimes in particular.
Huh, wasn't expecting to see one of my commissions as an image in Tentacle Realm.
>>78224556Which one?

>>78226098That really assumes the elemental absorption effect works on things that really probably aren't elemental effects like spirit energy attacks, gravity magic and other esoteric effects.
>>78225766Stonebound just orgasm every 4 hours and your trully immortal
>>78226098I really wouldn't expect it to work that way. Even in the most gamified way the cyoa has it set that besides the 14 elemental types, there are also physical and magical damage types. As evidenced by >[X Absorb] - Convert half of a specific type of damage (X) received into Vitality, Stamina, Energy, or Mana. Afflicter decides what "X" is, whether physical damage, magic damage, or one of the fourteen Elemental damage types.
>>78226080Eh in the long run you will make it out
>>78211051>Amara/Michelle + Nanoha/Fate>Life Goals>The Power Is Yours>Adventure Ho>Double Feature>Friendship Is Magic (Amara)>As You WereFor some reason I keep thinking I'll henshin into Magical Marine BBC.
>>78226057Fair, the Old Gods are noted as being more hands-off.Oh, another thing, I personally prefer the Holy Tribal Markings to the Fate Marks -> Divine Tattoo. It's more expensive and only gives one Boon, but it isn't stated the god can outright turn off you boon and the Tribal Markings have a number of other little benefits.
>>78226364get both!
>>78226270Just don't mind the extra tentacles, mutations and possible mental corruption
>>78226364oh sure, but I needed 5 tattoos for fatemarks and tribal tattoos don't count for itand part of the fatemark wasn't just the boons but also the corruption resistance, which is kinda needed on a purity build
>>78226196Technically as a curse Stonebound could be removed. Also it does say>virtually invulnerable to outside harmSo it isn't absolute. If you want to rely upon curses though, you could add another layer to it and get a companion that has Stonebound, and take the Soul Link curse binding you to them. So that even if you die, you just revive next to your virtually invulnerable companion. Also I am just now noticing that the only currently existing companion option only lets you select things up to page 33 for them, which means the last page of curses can't be applied. Stonebound does seem to be valid to apply to companions though
>>78226484You can also use it with artificial oversoul for a virtually invulnerable respawn point once a year
>>78226436I see. Unfortunately that Tattoos corruption resistance only works while in areas where you can absorb divine energy so it's not the most reliable. Can't wait for the missions section so we can see what we have to do to get The Silent Moon's Favor: Incorruptible.
>>78225766>Is it possible to be truly immortalPlay Single Player, select as Save Crystal.
>>78226590yeh but if you combine it with purity tattoo and both are supercharged by fatemarks it provides a fairly good buffer
>>78225766there is no such thing as something truly unkillable, everyone can be killed even if it takes very specialized methods and power level.if you still want to become as unkillable as possible I would recommend starting with the arrogant star's starsoul champion power as it lets you revive infinitely as long as your soul isn't destroyed
>>78225766>make an infinite army of clones?Madcap can create infinite perfect clones, but there's no way to have infinite minds to control each of them at the same time.
>>78226884Hmm, now I'm wondering how far a Madcap/Slime Queen could replicate.
How does Just Like My Animes work in regards to after character creation? If you can select powers afterwards then Angels getting 2000 points is pretty tempting.
>>78225766>>78226884>>78226987Alright I did some quick theory crafting. Currently Parallel Mind doesn't have a restriction on buying it on each instance of MIE, so if you have 12 MIE that each have 11 Parallel Minds that's 144 copies of your mind, or 144 ful clones with Madcap. If we add in Slime Queen with Multi-Doppelganger that might give each full clone the ability to create 99 lesser clones. So you'd have 144 full clones and 14,256 lesser clones of 50-80% power.
>>78217555nah I am talking about>https://desuarchive.org/trash/thread/77617733/#q77622179It is definitely I new cyoa that only has a V 1 but the maker says that he would be making a V 2 at some point.

So would a Nephilim who takes The Curious Oracles Boon Curious Scion and Fascination Champion Power be tolerated by Gods? Would the Curious Oracle visit your dreams or would it be an ego trip of you and yourself?
>>78227943>or would it be an ego trip of you and yourself?that would be fairly hilarious not gonna lie protecting yourself during your dreams by having the most self-indulgent dreams imaginable
>>78227452>>78227894Accidentally (you)'d the stonebound anon instead, whoops
>>78227943Curious Scion just has to be an internal monologue because you don't have a Patron if you're a Nephilim. And honestly, I think that's hilarious, just like >>78227991.I don't know what Fascination would do for a Nephilim. Maybe take the hostility meter down from 'Murder' to something a little better that you could potentially build a relationship from. Maybe it just doesn't work on deities but makes their servants more likely to show mercy or befriend you. Or Maybe it doesn't do anything on the divine front but does still give you protection from Psychic attacks.
>>78227452>The last word in these 'just die and come back' tricks is Devour. Not quite. You do still have to die to make use of it, but I'm pretty sure Soul Chain protects against Devour (and any other method of permanent soul destruction) by guaranteeing that reincarnations will always be possible for both you and your master, and does this by warping fate badly enough that not even the gods can interfere with it. It seems like you don't even have to be the one to take it, and being the master of a Soul Chained servant will also grant this effect.
>>78227943>Would the Curious Oracle visit your dreams no way, the boon says that you are visited by your patron, and as Neph don't have patrons it's going to be just you and yourself in there> Fascination Champion Power be tolerated by Gods?you could probably get the same effect with high enough charisma and faith, but most likely yes as long as you don't go on an anti-god crusade
>>78225935>Immortality is the name of a combination mutation now but if you're incinerated down to the cellular level you will still die.Yeah, that was my biggest headache when I tried to do my previous build. I could recover from all harm, have several spare bodies, be linked to another entity to come back, be able to teleport or move to a pocket dimension to escape danger. But there would always be a way I would truly die. And I wanted to play in a multiplayer server, so I know some asshole is going to make the perfect character to kill immortals and he will probably spend all his fucking time to just do that.> Multi-Instance Entity and Multi-Doppelganger can make you a shitload of clones but will never go infiniteThat is the second build I would like to do. An army of clones so I can act more like a country/organization than a person. Ideally they would look like me, act autonomously (even if they are subservient to me) and they are weaker than me. But I can move my conscience to any clone whenever I want to take control or see/feel what they are doing on an individual case (I can't feel all of them at the same time like a hive mind).>Bold. I pray that you will eventually be able to.I know I'll probably have to wait 5 years or more for that. >>78226640That would solve all my problems, but that shit is for pussies. >>78226884>>78227167Not ideal forms of cloning that I'm looking for, but it's fun to see the upper limit of that path. Maybe I'm looking at this from the wrong angle. I don't remember if I would be able with alchemy, magic or some other way, to create life and bodies and would follow my commands.
>>78228170Becoming more attractive to the divine doesn't fully sound like a good boon what if they decide to make you a personal slave or fucktoy
>>78228314Best combine it with The Wicked Mother's Divine Victim Champion Power too then.
>>78228251>I don't remember if I would be able with alchemy, magic or some other way, to create life and bodies and would follow my commands. That's one option. Also there is Chloromancy and Mycolomancy for plant and fungus monster minions, golemancy for golems, and and dollcraft for the more advanced constructs.
>>78228166Soul Chain prevents your spirit from being held or captured and separated from your master, but I don't think it protects the master and I don't think it it saves your soul from being actually destroyed, as by Devour. I suppose there's room to read it either way, though. (Except about the master being protected, I don't see that at all.)
>>78228251>>78228404Oh, and it's mentioned the Golemancy is the first step to learning to make full homunculi but that secrets of that are a lost art. Could make it a personal goal to rediscover/invent it.
>BTG promises denial torture cyoa Soon>It never comesOh, I get it now
>>78228404Now I need to find a non headcanon way to make those creatures to have full consciousness>>78228459Yeah, homunculi would actually be perfect. Now I would just need to find a way to connect me with all of them and that would basically fulfill one of the builds. I don't even care if they are weak as fuck. I understand why he limits this options. If you are one of the most powerful beings in the realm and you can make infinite copies of yourself, then you would take over the world in no time.

>>78227167Does using Extra Organs and selecting Brain not have the same effect as Parallel Mind but with a limit of 100 instead of 12?
>>78230088I remember thinking it was very ugly when they showed the comparison in one of the reveal trailers. The backgrounds aren't terrible I suppose but I strongly dislike the new character models.
>>78230380No. Extra Organ doesn't give you additional personalities to run the extra brains. It's just more brains networked together for redundancy so if you get hit in the head you don't die. You'd still run into the issue of having active copies of your mind available to run each 'instance' of your body.>>78230614Fair enough. They don't bother me, but that's entirely a matter of taste.

>>78227159Angels have a level cap of 400, doesn't mean they actually are level 400. You can buy level 150 at the start, which is a net-gain of 250 points (animes costs 100, level 150 costs 400, 150 levels grants 750). You may be able to level to 400 eventually and gain those points over time, probably many MILLENNIA of time, but it's not something you can currently do in the CYOA until he adds more ways to gain levels.
>>78231406manager can get you to high levels fairly easy as long as you use your high level powers to employ an increasingly large number of peopleif you set up a city or a nation as a corpo-state you can get ridiculous xp off of itand in turn given that everyone in your employ is 30% more effective you can easily outcompete anyone else at a large scale

>>78233354Sorry, I mean it's 'not a bad idea'.
>>78231361you can make your plants be made out of fungus and do hybrid organism shenanigans
>>78231603I'm mostly pulling this out of my ass so please correct me if there's specific information in the CYOA to the contrary, but I would assume one of the biggest limiters to max level is lifespan. The reason the max level for a typical human is 100 is because the XP to level probably goes up exponentially and there simply isn't enough time in a human life to reach higher. It's not the only factor, but creatures with a lifespan around 1000 years tend to have a cap closer to 150, which tells me that the next 50 levels probably takes around 900-ish years. Again, not the only factor. A Myconid has a longer lifespan than a Dragonkin (8000 vs 5000), but the Dragonkin has a significantly higher level cap (300 vs 200), but it does correlate strongly.
>Living Statue + Gazer = Stone GuardianThey're found standing vigil over ancient ruins.
