You all secretly want Gary's bifurcated penis in your ass, and you know it!
>>78221076Having reflected on everything that got revealed in the last trailer, including that reptiles have a secret community and mammals seemingly are unaware that they are sapient on a global scale because they are urban legends like aliens or the crocodiles in the sewers. I must say that I'm sorry to Byron and the rest of the writers team if my criticism was too harsh about this. I love Zootopia. I just really want the sequel to succed and I want it to be the best possible movie as it can be.And with the collaboration of the community, we thought that we found the best possible idea: "pets and wildlife", that allow for a new lifelesson to be told about the protection of animals, that is just as important to children to develop empathy for.So to see that our prediction of what a great idea you might have for the future of the franchise, that you might've even foreshadowed in Z1, with language and background hints... was false and your real idea is so much less interesting, and so much less planned out... left me personally in dismay and disillusioned.I understand that this might seem thankless to your and the writers hard work. I'm not. I have great deal of respect to Byron and the rest of the creator team.I love the vibe of the trailer, I love the visuals, I love how much heart there is between Judy and Nick, and it brings my hope up for a love-confession scene so we can have the 9 year old debate of "is wildehopps canon" finally behind us.I just needed to express that I think Gary would've been even more lovable and relatable as a pet. If the "family" he is trying to protect would've been his mammal owner. If Judy and Nick would need to choose to be the voice of the wild-animals that can't speak for themselves and were seperated from their families due to a pet-ban. I don't see yet how sapient, cloth-wearing, talking reptiles are better, but it would be unfair to not give a chance to the movie to try to explain it. I'll try to give it a chance
It was brought up in the breakdown of the timeline about 'Francine's birthday' and how Zplus helped with a vague timeline. However, it's worth mentioning that Zplus was at best mediocre and had moments where it was at odds with the movie's story or time itself, at worst.Sam was a highlight, as was the Mr. Big's past episode...even if I'm left wondering how the hell he's lived as long as he has. (Even going by a human lifespan, he's a kid in the 1920s. How is he not ancient? The worst thing was the Fru-Fru reality show, though. How the hell do you have a shrew go savage on TV, and it being very clearly spelled out why, and no one puts two and two together? If the movie's got that level of care going on in terms of keeping in line with the setting, I expect this to be equal of a mid mess or worse.
>>78223333It's gonna be horrible. I liked Douk episode.>>78221668Mammals know (Beaver). Who else knows, who knows, but the depends on the writers since someone would have to tell Judy who would be able to look for a lizard. Also I think some sizes are wonky, especially that Jesus Christ Lizard given Judy size.
>>78221661>Zootopia is a unique place... It's a crazy, beautiful diverse city where we celebrate our differences. EXCEPT THOSE FUCKING SCALY N- this is not the Zootopia I know. The Zootopia I know is better than this. We don't just blindly assume blame. BUT YOU KNOW WHEN SOMETHING LIKE THAT IT GOTTA BE THOSE SLITHERING CRETINS WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU IF YOU COME IN MY LINE OF SIGHT I WILL SKEWER YOU TO DEATH COME ON SHOW YOURSELF MAMA NEEDS A NEW LEATHER BAG. We don't know why these attacks keep happening, but it is irresponsible to label all predators as savages. BUT YOU KNOW THOSE COLDY GOT LABELED FUCKING MENACE BECAUSE OF THEIR VENOMOUS SALIVE AND PERSONALITY FUCKING STUPID LIZARDS. We cannot let fear divide us, because the only dividing that will be DONE HERE IS ME WHEN I GET MY HOOVES ON THOSE SCALY FUCKS STRETCH THEIR PELT STRETCH THEIR PELT STRETCH THEIR PELT STRETCH THEIR PELT STRETCH THEIR PELT >Please, give me back the Zootopia I love.

>>78221668>was false and your real idea is so much less interesting, and so much less planned out... left me personally in dismay and disillusioned. It's kinda hard to believe you meant no disrespect when you put it that way desu, but ok
>>78224227let me put it this way:The fandom was like Demiurgus from Overlord that constantly theorized that Ainz (Byron) has some grand, super convoluted master plan, and everything that they do and did is part of this plan that is so complex that its effect will echo out trough a millennia.Imagine if Demiurgus found out that no, Ainz really just wings stuff most of the time, and had no plan at all, or the plan was significantly less complex or grand than what he imagined it to be.Zootopia had the chance to set itself apart from other anthro settings by basically becoming the only one where despite a huge diverse animals evolved sapience, there are still a lot of wild-life and functioning/balanced ecosystem. Most anthro cartoons that want to keep a functioning realistic world, most replace humans with 1 species, like how Bluey replaces humans with dogs. It would've made Zootopia the only antro setting that can teach children about nature while also remaining diverse enough to teach about social issues. So learning that the actual plan is to slowly make it as generic as any other anthro world by Dreamworks or others, that won't have that advantage over others in the setting, just feels less thought out. And suddenly I'm faced with it that I'm at my wits end here, and can't come up with a theory that makes this plan good, that I could use to prove to MYSELF that Byron really did plan things fell enough out ahead. I am in dismay. I WANT it to be good, but right now I don't see how it can be good, when there have been so many seemingly better options with better outcomes.
if pawbert doesn't get husbando fanart when the movie comes out there is no god
>>78226550>inb pawbert gonna be a twist villain and will get art of being a prison bitchsrly though, I actually think that making him a villain is one of the worst part of the leak, but I also get it, that it has to happen to make Judy see that she trust people too easily and Nick was right about it that they need to be more careful.
>>78225706Comparing Byron/Jared to Ains and us to Demiurgos is such a bizzate yet incredibly accurate idea, I can't believe i didn't thought of that myselfI also wonder, if the climate wall was really standing for roughly 100 years, then that would make mr. big and his bears literally ancient since we saw them in Z+ before apparently the wall was build (which is even weirder considering how fast his granddaughter grew up)
>>78227135While we didn't see the climate wall and tundra town In Mr.Big's flashback, it's not impossible that it already existed. But at that point the Climate wall was probably around 20-30 years old yet.I imagine that because the area wall and tundra town were still relatively fresh, the influx of tundra animals that came to live in the city, caused inflation in the housing prices in tundra town.It could be that kid-Kozlov and his family came to zootopia but ended up not having enough money to live in Tundra-town, so that's why see them hanging around in Sahara Square.
>>78227135>>78227474or Mr.Big is just a big fat liar that made up a story, because the reality involved a lot more wacking or competition and other crimes.

>>78226589Welcome to the Bellwether club...I'm still stupidly heartbroken over that.
>>78230156its funny, I actually didn't care about Bellwether at all. So I felt nothing at the twist reveal that she was the villain. I wasn't like "Gasp, Judy trusted you" and was more like "...oh yeah, that sheep that was sort of friendly with Judy"
>>78230251I just thought she was cute in the previews. Loved her design. By that point I was also kinda burnt out on twist villians. That's not the case for everyone of course...but Disney and everyone else had been doing that for a while by then. That was one thing, again due to the grounded feeling of the first film, that I thought would have more nuance instead of I guess Bellwether pretending to be put upon and pushed around when it seems like the leaks are just gonna continue the 'flat evil' bit. At least a sympathetic backstory seemed like a sensible step. In a way she seemed like a reflection of Judy had she gone a different way. Don't get me wrong, I'm fine with a pure evil villain, and I'm aware I'm biased. I just, with the semi-realistic feel of the first film's world, I figured there was more depth.
