And is there something else prompting her bashfulness?This caption had one of the longest turnarounds of any I've finished yet; I started it in February 2024.My first plan for it was much darker and less romantic, involving a villain stealing Eirika's Lord class and leaving her a Dancer. I ended up moving away from that because the level drain-y aspect didn't make sense setting-wise to me, or character-wise for Eirika. She's already been through enough; I just wanted to make a caption where she's happy, if a little embarrassed.I decided to structure the script here such that it worked for most of Eirika's love interests (or a self-insert OC) without specifying anyone specific. With the typesetting, I challenged myself to use a quill-on-parchment look, which I think turned out rather nicely.

There were a lot of great ideas in the scrapped drafts (one of my scrapped Viera drafts actually contains a complete poem) and I'd love to share some of them with you, but given my unquenchable love for Viera girls it's more than likely I'll be able to reuse them in all the however many future entries in this series I create.
