I agree with you, I was just stating the intent seems to be a trilogy and punt such heavy questions for the end of the buddy cop story when they can't milk any more money out. To me, the entirety of the film shown in the trailers looks over-engineered to appeal to both the new, uninvested, child market with flashy action and snek, and put the 'partner therapy' in as metaphorical gruel in for shippers to project romantic fantasies on. This has all the grubby fingerprints on it of Disney's stellar writing track record for the past decade. Look, they're overcoming their problems with each other just like a married couple except with plausible deniability! Yeah, that's pretty much on the mark what I was thinking when I drew it. My oldest aunt and oldest uncle are both in their seventies but they're amazingly spry for their ages, and even more so than lucky genetics I think much of that comes down to the fact that they've always had good diets and plenty of exercise. Avo takes similarly good care of herself, so I can absolutely see her staying mobile and energetic well into old age.

If I'm being honest, I don't really give a shit, hell, I can't remember the last time I was hyped for anything, me going to watch the movie doesn't feel like something I'm looking forward to, but rather something I'm doing out of habit, like I'm operating on auto pilot, like waking up in the morning and making breakfast and taking a shower, it's something you kinda do subconsciously, maybe I will be pleasantly surprised, but I'm not holding my breath, this is modern disney after all
